Amazing Personality - I recently refinanced with Jennifer. I was working with other person and that person left the company. Jennifer took over and made us very comfortable. It has now been almost 3 months since we closed on our loan through Loan Lock so I feel I can write a complete review. We chose this company because of all the positive reviews and the fact that they could get a very low interest rate. Well after the loan was locked at a higher than anticipated rate (but still decent), things quickly went south. I provided everything they asked for, even though a lot seemed excessive. One example, we pay a Gardner monthly. When they looked at our checking account statements, we were asked to write a letter explaining why we pay our Gardner reoccurring every month. Then our loan officer went on a 2 week vacation to Europe. He was going to be gone through the close of escrow. I had to stay on top of everything because no one was meeting deadlines. Even with our escrow officer and real estate agent helping, they still missed close of escrow and funding by two days!! causing us to have to reschedule our movers twice! This was a normal 30 day close and we were over qualified for our loan. We even had to get Patrick involved or we would have probably been over a week late. Our escrow officer even commented about their inability to do their job. With many home purchases and refinances in my life, this was by far the worst. For all of the missteps, they promised a gift card to our favorite restaurant. Well… we are still waiting for that 3 months later. Too many promises and no follow through.
This is my first time working with Jennifer. I was a little anxious at first because I didnt know what to expect. What an experience! Jennifer provided very competitive rate, and was extremely pleasant to work with. She explained things clearly and was very patient and responded to emails/texts immediately. The entire process was very smooth. Will definitely work with her again in the future.
Jennifer is knowledgeable, reliable, responsive, and was able to offer me a very competitive rate. She is a great communicator, always courteous, friendly, professional, timely, and hard-working. In about 3 weeks, she was able to get everything approved, rate locked, and loan funded! Non-jumbo loan, rate reduced from 3.75% to 2.375%, 30 years, fixed. The process was painless. The documents were securely uploaded digitally. No snail mail or faxing required. Loan Lock sent out a mobile notary to notarize all the documents, making it very convenient. I highly recommend Jennifer and her team at Loan Lock! I would definitely work with them again in the future should I need another home loan.
Jennifer was fantastic—incredibly responsive and supportive throughout the entire process. She lives up to the hype of the reviews, which was why I initially contacted her. My initial promised closing costs went up by around $500, mostly because the appraisal companies all raised their rates due to covid and the high demand (paid an additional $450). As for Loan Lock, I have no regrets as it was the best rate after having shopped around at a few places, and I had been ready to incur closing costs for the lower rate. However, I will say going through a mortgage broker company may not be for everyone, as there were more hoops to jump through, and definitely do not plan any travel until it closes as there may be last-minute changes. Still, I’d recommend if you have the time to get a great rate, and definitely ask for Jennifer!

Jennifer is a great loan officer (best one I have worked with so far indeed). Things are moving very quick and smooth. Along the process, she also sent me updates and explained what would happen next. Working with her is crystal clear and pleasant. No hidden info or lack of communication at all. Shes extremely busy, so if you have all your documents ready, you wont have a hard time closing your loan. She could come off rude to some people, but I didnt see it that way. Its a fair game and in order for her to move fast, she has to set her priorities right so please dont be upset about that.

I contacted Cody about a possible refinance because I knew that rates had dropped. I wasnt optimistic because other lenders had said I probably couldnt qualify, but Cody quickly ran the numbers and said there was a good chance it would work. When it came time to discuss rates and fees, he was very clear about the options and was able to offer an extremely good rate, about 0.25% lower than I was expecting. We locked the rate just a few days after the first call and the loan closed in around 3 weeks. Cody responded quickly by email when questions came up and he and his team processed the documents I sent right away. He didnt promise anything he couldnt deliver. It was a very easy transaction overall and Im happy to have gotten such a low rate. I would definitely recommend him.

In the past few years Ive acquired one mortgage on a purchase and done two refis. I used Better.com before twice and Loanlock blew them out of the water.I shopped hard on this refi - I checked local brokers, Costcos mortgage program, Better.com, etc. Loanlock was a winner by a quarter point with similar terms. Obviously rates vary but Im hugely impressed by the rate I got compared to the rest of the market.Even with the low cost I never felt like I was getting anything but expertise and great service. When my husband and I started to shop for homes, we quickly knew that not only did we need to shop around for homes for sell, but we needed to spend time finding a lender to help us make our dreams of getting into a larger single family home possible. From exploring options from new construction, home improvement loans, and traditional loans, we initially connected with Helena Pham from LoanLock and basically knew we did not need to look any further. Helena was super quick to respond to our initial inquiry for information upon us filling out a short questionnaire. She made the first consultation super painless. We spent about 7-10 mins on the phone the first time we talked and just shared some basic information about us, what we were looking in a home, home price range, location, etc. We found the process easy and painless. From there we applied more formally for a pre-approval letter which we got back within a day and ensured were were ready and qualified to really dig deep into the home buying options. Along the way, we consulted Helena about other less traditional options outside of a traditional 30-year fixed mortgage and while that is ultimately what we went with, it was nice knowing that we could explore our options and determine the right type of loan for us. And of course Helena was there for every phone call and conversation to help answer questions and educate us.We ended up finding a home about 3-4 weeks after we initially received our pre-approval letter. Helena was quick to help us lock in an interest rate with us once our sales contract was ratified. She was very accommodating and really helped us get the best rate possible that day. From there, it was a slue of emails back and forth as we provided various financial documents to help with the loan solidification process, but the financial advisors were thorough in their questions and we were quick to respond making the process nice and quick.If we had the chance to use LoanLock and Helena again, we certainly would. The process was easy, the requests were painless and the process was easy to follow. Bryan Ward did a wonderful job with helping us refinance our home. I have gone through the mortgage process 8 times in the last 8 years and this was by far the best experience Ive ever had. Khang Nguyen was excellent and was the only person I worked with from start to finish. No passing files off to a counterpart which was a first, Khang was extremely responsive, almost always picked up my calls on the first attempt and typically got back to me within an hour if he didnt pick up.As I was shopping for rates, Khang didnt mind providing updated rates multiple times throughout the day when bond yields and rates were fluctuating rapidly (due to Ukraine/Russia situation) which was appreciated and helped me lock in the best rate across 10 or so lenders and it happened to be end of the day on a Friday. He provided 4 updates between noon at 5pm, one I didnt even ask for but he noticed an improvement.Additionally, their system for uploading files was user friendly, intuitive and I never had to resubmit a single file. Ive have mortgages with Bank of America, Chase, PNC and some regional banks and was a little skeptical up front but honestly this was hands down the best experience (and I have no affiliation with Khang or Loan Lock).
With the rates dropping to record lows, we did some homework on who we should reach out to ... then we were referred to Jennifer and her team. SO GLAD we were! She absolutely knocked our refi out of the park for us, locking in a low rate and ensuring we were up to speed along the entire process. But, lo and behold, rates somehow went even lower, so we started looking into it again. Knowing from the first experience that Jennifer would make the process easy and smooth, we decided it would be worth it to do a second refi this year, this time with a cash out.Exactly as we expected and remembered from the spring, the entire process was completely painless and well worth it. If anything, Jennifer is arguably *too* responsive - Im not sure she ever sleeps! She was patient for us while we repeatedly asked for daily updates until we were comfortable with the prevailing rates, and once we locked in, she shepherded us through the process without any issues at all. She answered every question I had, some of which were about what Im sure were nearly meaningless provisions, almost always in a matter of minutes. When it came time to close, they again sent a notary to our house at a time that was convenient for us, and made sure the notary had everything needed to complete the process perfectly.Ive praised Jennifer and LoanLock once already this year, and I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with them again. You will not regret it.-------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL POST (MARCH 2020 REFI):LoanLock offered the best terms Ive ever seen, and Jennifer was truly an absolute pleasure to work with.I went from submitting an initial application to closing and paying off the old loan in 31 days, and it was completely seamless. I am close to convinced that she does not sleep. Theres no other way she was able to reply so quickly all of the time to every question I had and every document I submitted, during what was probably one the busiest times for refi loan officers in history. The closing costs were exactly in line with what LoanLock had disclosed up front and throughout the process, the documentation I was asked to provide was completely reasonable and easy to obtain, the website interface was as simple as anything that exists for e-signing large sets of documents, and every other aspect went so easily I didnt even really notice it.I tried shopping their offer around to three other lenders. Two didnt even bother responding and the third had nothing to offer me. When the notary came to our house to do the closing, she told us that she was doing about four refi closings a day and hadnt seen anyone come close to the rate we got.Right up until the moment I saw my old mortgage servicer confirm that the balance had been fully paid off, I couldnt help but be skeptical. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is, and from beginning to end, LoanLock and Jennifer sounded too good to be true. The mortgage was paid off today, and I can now emphatically endorse them without hesitation. If you havent contacted them yet, you should. Ill spend the next thirty years being grateful I did.

I successfully closed a home with a loan that she provided and it was extremely smooth with everything online with easy to use tools. She is easy to work with, her rates were extremely competitive. Jennifer was even working over her vacation to make sure that everything went smooth and it did. Weeks before buying the house that I successfully closed, another seller gave me a tight deadline to close and she made it happen despite it being over the Christmas period. 2023-05-25 23:04:26I was originally planning to close the loan in 28 days! Communication from the first lender was not satisfactory and I was unsure if theyd be able to close it on time. I remembered I used Loan Lock for my refinance previously. I called Jennifer and I was very confident that she will be able to close on time if not earlier. She is so detailed in explaining things that leaves us no follow up questions since she already outlined the answer even before we thought of asking. She’s that good! She tells you straight up if it’s not a good idea to refinance but lay it all out for you to decide. She truly cares for you, makes you feel like family and we really appreciate that.When I ask her questions, she responds right away. 2021-02-12 00:34:21Jennifer is hands down the best person I have worked with on a refinance. She is amazing, very responsive & keeps you on track and ahead. She is very organized and had us prepared for everything before it happened. I typically work with banks and not brokers because I dont like surprises. I made an exception for Jennifer because of her stellar reviews and she lived up to her 5 star rating and exceeded our expectations. We finished on time, she was on target with the cost and was so easy to work with. I saw a lot of repeat customers on her reviews and its easy to see why.

She was patient with us and answered all our questions. But at the same time kept us moving forward. Rates are incredible right now so she’s understandably busy, but she was right on top of things for us. Her communication is excellent. She made us aware of what needed to be completed by us and when it was due. We’ve since recommended her to my mother-in-law. She made it feel like working with an old friend.
