JJ was awesome with helping us out. She was extremely knowledgeable in the policies, warranties and had an exact answer for us with any of our questions we had. She recommended getting insurance on our couch that we bought and also helped us find the one we were looking for. She was very helpful and patient with us. She didn’t make us feel pressured to buy and was informative with every detail possible. More importantly she helped us out with our needs based off what we mentioned to her. 10/10 she deserves a raise for going above and beyond with her work!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful especially Maggie in the Mattress section! She goes above and beyond makes you feel like family and is very honest. She makes your time fun and enjoyable. She helped us a month ago to buy our boys a bedroom set and now a month later we’re back to buy our bedroom set. Very happy! I definitely recommend Living spaces Monrovia!!

I wish I could give more stars! Genesis and Jackie were absolutely fabulous. They were informative, friendly, helpful, and a joy to work with. I had some trouble with my first order (by my own doing) and they resolved it quickly and easily, then helped me set up a new order. The new order is custom so Genesis was great at walking me through the steps to design the piece. Then right as it was about to be finalized I realized I made a mistake in the orientation of the “L” shape. I felt like such a jerk! But she was so kind about it and we got it straightened out. I left feeling really pleased with the selection and the process. I’ll definitely be going back.

We went to buy my daughter a mattress and was helped by Ricky. He was so great and patient with us. He gave us a lot of options and explained the process of ordering and delivery. The only negative experience with this transaction was with the supervisor named Sham. The mattress was on back order but he was confusing with his explanation on order timing. After he left, he was overheard by my daughter speaking negatively of me. If you are going to speak badly about a customer, you should probably wait until they leave the store first. Would totally return for Ricky but hopefully won’t have to interact with Sham again!

Update: I’ve had a horrible customer experience with the warranty team. I received defected products. My initial email was overlooked and I had to go in person so inquire on solutions. Only then were my concerns addressed. The warranty team pushes you around to different agents and give you the runaround. I truly feel scammed which is awful because I love the products. The online customer service team hasn’t been forthcoming and transparent with the options they offered. For context, our couch arrived with stains and loose threads everywhere. They failed to take accountability when the delivery guy stated “this is how all couches come from this manufacturer”. They’ve tried shifting blame to us when the couch arrived like this and failed to mention there’s a time clock to arrange a solution. Mind you, we immediately contacted them with our issues. Once we chose an exchange, we were told it would take 6-8 weeks as it was a custom order. They again failed to mention they scheduled a pick up of our current couch for the next day. It’s Friday evening and it’s terribly hard to get immediate responses. Being bounced around doesn’t make me feel like a valued customer. This is so disappointing because their in person experience feels like white glove service. I really wish I hadn’t purchased a couch here. It’s not worth the headache of dealing with the online customer service.Living spaces made mattress shopping educational, time efficient and stress free. Maggie was the best sales assistant. She was incredibly friendly and warm and helped us understand the different materials offered and really customized the experience to meet our needs. We especially appreciated her patience, knowledge and attention to detail. There was no push to commit to anything and no hidden fees. She raised on the bar on shopping for furniture and mattresses as we had some concerns about the process being intimidating. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of and gave us the time and space to make our decision. Please go visit her if you’re looking to buy a mattress!

I went to Living Spaces for a sectional Tv stand and a rug. After looking throughout the store we found a sectional that was ok but because of the nice sales woman Ligia (at the Monrovia ca store) she took it upon herself to find better options to choose from. She is very friendly and professional not like the usual sales people who like to hound you as you come into the door. We ended up getting everything we needed and at a lower price than I expected. If you need help with furniture this store is not the place to go. They have sufficient associates but rest assured they are all just gathered around talking with each other rather than helping customers. After waiting 45 minutes for assistance I decided to leave. Walked into the store at 11:20am on Saturday. At least 12 people were working. Pass 3 workers without being acknowledged. Then a young lady says good morning. I tell her I’m looking for bedroom furniture. She directs me to the area in the far corner of the building. I walk around in the bedroom area for over 15 minutes, by myself. Nobody ever comes back to see if I have any questions, need help, etc. On the way out the door I stop and speak with the manager, who kind of apologizes and tells me that’s not how they do business. Huge place, with some good pieces. The overall aesthetic was a bit clunky and lacked a sophisticated design sensibility. Also, immediately after entering the store, I was accosted by a sales person asking me what I was looking for. When I told him that I was just looking around to get ideas about furnishing a place we had just bought, he then turned disinterested, which made me wonder why he had asked in the first place. I found one unique piece which was a part of a car, turned into a couch, but the rest of the furniture seemed generic and for a much older demographic.

Massive parking lot that lets you park a trailer if you need to on case youll be picking up. Hand sanitizer provided at the door and plenty of staff walking around the store to assist you with your needs shall questions arise. The styling really helps envision the sofas in a home versus other stores that just leave the sofas with out any pillows that bring out the color. Rugs, outdoor furniture, paintings, and various other interior accessories also sold here. They also have a bed section in the back.

I purchased a living room table with a lift from Living Spaces and at the time was convinced into adding the 5-year extended warranty with ample promises regarding its robust coverage.Fast forward, a few years later and now the lifting mechanism is going out and Living Spaces has denied my claim because I notified them within 31 days of the issue rather than 30 despite having years of warranty left in my plan!What a joke, what is the point of a 5 year warranty? In the future I will gladly look to Ashley furniture, La-z-boy, or At Home for my furniture needs.

It was very Hard giving them 1 star!Staff here very carismatic just so people make that purchase. I bought a $1000.00 sofa and 3 months later it was discolored, started to chip/peel and foam wore out in a very noticeable way. I paid hundreds for extended warranty but after trying to cantact store i was ignored and guided me to a call center somewhere in the other side of the world and issue has not been resolved after 7 months. By now I think I trew my money away!!! Sad to think a store like this can do such thing to a customer.

I wrote this review about my purchase of a reclining living room set and experience on the living room website and instead of reaching out to me, they deleted it from their website. I received a email asking me to re-write my review. And remember do not trust the staff at this location.The finish isn’t that good. Some of the items don’t line up well. Also, they used different types of leather. Colors are not matching. The main reason I’m giving this one star is the company itself is deceptive and couldn’t care less if you are pleased with their products or service. I purchased two living room sets, I had a problem with the first delivery date and because the sales person said I had 24 hours to cancel or postpone delivery I called customer service and aside from them not having a personality I was told I could decline delivery and have to pay a fee to have it delivered or I could cancel my order altogether and pay a restocking fee even though I never took possession of it. I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of shopping at another place so I made arrangements to go ahead with the delivery. My second set was set to ship in two dates due to supply shortages. I got the first 3 pieces of 5 without a problem and a couple of days later I received a email that it would take another 8 weeks, not at all what I was promised and assured. I specifically asked the salesperson what will happen if the other two pieces are not delivered in two weeks as promised? He assured me that we would get it and that he spoke to his district manager about the product and it was set guaranteed to be delivered on time. Again I spoke with customer service on multiple occasions trying to see if I could get some to help and was always told that I need to either wait or return the products for a refund and lose out on the restocking fee. Be careful on your purchase. Don’t do split shipments and make sure you are available for your delivery day. And if the salesman promises you something, don’t believe them. These guys are worse than the stereotypical used car salesmen. Good luck if you decide to purchase here.

Went into living spaces to purchase a couch after a failed delivery from another furniture store. I ended up buying a couch and a dinning table with chairs. Items were delivered within 3 days from purchase. I couldnt be happier with my items. Customer support was also excellent. Went in to purchase a rug & I found that they had mislabeled a rug that I wanted to purchase. They ended up selling me a floor model, however not as an as is price. Now take in the fact that they sold me the same style of rug at an as is price and it was also a floor model though it had smaller dimensions. If that wasnt enough, they had the gall to charge me a higher price than originally labelled rug and gave me a song and dance about how it was a corporate decision made when I went to finalize the purchase. I had an incredibly frustrating experience at their Monrovia branch. A huge warehouse full of a good variety of furniture which is mostly either out of stock, unavailable, on back order or discontinued. Mr. Firas helped me a lot but every time I was able to match a sofa to an accent chair to a recliner, something would go wrong! Each salesman is equipped with a tablet that checks price & availability and creates an invoice. More than once their system failed to provide accurate information. One salesperson would tell me a specific sofa is available in the default color, another would check and say sorry it’s discontinued. After 2 lengthy visits I’ve paid for a plain beige sofa, which I wasn’t particularly fond of but it was supposedly available for an immediate delivery. Mind you, I’ve just relocated to LA from overseas and was furnishing a totally empty apartment. Based on that sofa, I customized a recliner (to be delivered in 8 weeks) only to receive an email, AFTER the projected sofa delivery date, announcing that it’ll be delayed few weeks. I didn’t want to get stuck with a sofa that isn’t exactly what I wanted, which will be delivered much later than promised, when the whole purpose of buying it was its immediate availability. So I canceled it, which was an easy process. But because the color of the recliner was customized to match the sofa, I wanted to cancel that as well or change the color to a more neutral color to be compatible with whatever sofa I end up buying. They wanted to charge me 25% restocking penalty! I don’t think that was fair because the whole thing was not my mistake. I felt tricked and fooled. They tell you about not keeping their end of the bargain, just after closing the sale knowing well they won’t be able to keep their delivery date.After numerous phone calls with sales and management, none of whom showed any understanding, I decided to go to the store again to talk face to face with the manager to finalize a solution. Why should I be penalized for something that clearly is not my fault but theirs? Luckily the manager acknowledged their fault & agreed to waive the penalty and I ordered the same chair in its default color. I ended up buying another sofa too. Though the delivery was supposed to be free, they claimed the sofa was too big to go thru the staircase or elevator of my bldg and they needed to hoist it. So I ended up paying $50 for delivery. I have suspicions that was a made up excuse to pocket extra money… who knows!

It’ll always go to a call center that doesn’t know the current inventory or status of items from a given location. I recently purchased some furniture from Living Spaces, and overall, I had a great experience with them. The store is large and has a wide variety of furniture options, so theres something for everyone.The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were able to answer all of my questions about the different products I was interested in. I appreciated the fact that they didnt pressure me into buying anything, but instead gave me the space and time I needed to make my decision.The only reason why Im giving Living Spaces a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review is because I did experience some delays with the delivery. Second I bought my quinton sectional customized order which I bought on july and delivered on August 3, August 4 we went vacation with my entire family, we came back on August 14 and found many different yellow spots on my sectional, I reported this to leaving spaces and they said use your care free warranty because leaving spaces warranty is not going to cover that . So be careful with this scam, because if anything happens to your furniture theyre going to tell you use your warranty you bought. Long story short we dont even used our sectional and we were responsible for the yellow spots. I call that factory issuess, be responsible for the cheap material you guys have.

Drew was very professional, courteous and personable when going over delivery and warranty options which can sometimes be confusing. He helped me pick out the perfect size table for my family for Thanksgiving by explaining they had selections in store and online. Not necessarily upselling you, but definitely explaining that you should add 125$ pillows to your mattress because it will give free shipping. Dani was my sales representative and she was very helpful and did her best to locate the items I was looking for, sofa/sectional, dining set, rug etc. She was knowledgeable and the more I shared my thoughts and what I was trying to do, she helped me think through options. When I shared what I was thinking and looking for Dani pulled in someone (Courtney I believe, who was wonderful) to help think through options. He helped me understand that there is no pricing games at Living Spaces because they arent on commissions and dont make more for charging you list price or haggling on price. Sales associates Stephanie assisted me in making a big purchase. One item was unavailable at the time and I was told that I was able to make a split purchase, meaning that when the unavailable item became available, I would be able to purchase the item without paying for the full service charge twice. I would only have to pay once and then other full service charge would be waived. I was told by not only Stephanie, but also Maggie and also the sales supervisor, Sina, who actually signed off on this. Stephanie stated that she had made a note in my order for the waived fee and there was nothing to be found when looking for that note. Lied straight to my face. Today, when I went to make the second purchase of the unavailable item, I was told, by Sina, the sales supervisor that he never said that, and stated “I don’t know where you got that from.” Seems like the sales associate, Stephanie had lied, as well as, Sina, their so-called supervisor, and wanted to make a sale. I was given false promises. There is no integrity in these people I interacted with. Even after all the money spent at this place, they couldn’t honor what was promised. I will never shop here again. I Bought a couch and loveseat from living spaces in monrovia in February 2016. After about 3 years the padding started going away and the springs starred to make their to the surface of the seat cushions and now it is pretty much a piece of junk. So on a whim I went to living Spaces to ask if there was anything they might do. Well suffice it to say they looked at me like I had two heads and said they dont work on commission at that store, which I took to mean why should they care. I was not looking for a freebee I am willing to pay for better quality furniture I just wondered if they were willing to maybe give me a little discount. I realize that this is not Ethan Allen furniture but I would expect it to stand up a little better than this, and I would expect the store to do a little bit to assist with the junk that they sold me and not run away like their hair is on fire. David took his time in showing me all the models he thought would be good and let me test them out for over an hour before I made my choice. I never felt pressured or rushed by either David or Madison and because they don’t work on commission, he wasn’t pushing me towards a more expensive model. It was a very comforting experience from the moment I walked into the door, never felt like I would be pressed into purchasing anything. Felt more like someone was there to help in case I had any questions. The person who ended up assisting me (Ellie) was awesome and so helpful and very knowledgeable. I was there looking for a set of couches and was going more for aesthetics. Upon selecting the style of couches I wanted, I was going for a certain color. I was presented a similar color with a more durable and resistant to accidents and wear material. Had a great experience at living spaces. For starters, they don’t follow you around the store trying to sell you stuff left and right like a car salesman like some other furniture stores do. Plus, their prices are very good and they even have some outlet furniture at a lower price. I found my new couch and they were able to help me set up an out of state delivery date/time that worked for my schedule. Dont buy from Living Spaces, I purchased in March, and have had issues with my sofa every since. They did an exchange. The second one is worse than the first one.. now trying to deal with warranty has been Hell! Sitting on hold for hours. Being told I would get a call back in 24 hours or less. And no calls.Then I get 2 emails 15 minutes apart. Sorry we missed you at the number we ha e on file.. please call us back..I call back. Another hour lost to their 0gone loop and horrible music they play. Do your self a favor. And find someplace to buy..However, if you do go there. JOSE was a great sales associate, very helpful. It was so nice to be able to go in the store, sit in the chairs, run my hands over the table top of the dining room set I wanted to buy. Then to top it off we had great customer service from Michele and everything was in stock! Delivery and assembly scheduled in 3 days, not 3 weeks like everything we looked at online.
