The Agent Tokyo escape room was super fun. My kids haven’t stopped talking about it since we left. We are newbies for escape rooms with 2 adults and 2 kids ages 14 & 10 with us. We didn’t complete our mission but got 2 out of 4 items needed. The game room host was super nice and friendly. They were responsive with clues. We definitely will recommend this game. 😊👍

Went today to the escape room did the Tokyo room it was extremely difficult. I’d read it a nine out of 10. It starts off very slow and confusing. We’ve done many escape rooms before and this one was very difficult. If you don’t speak the language. It’s kind of hard to start with. I would try something else especially if you’re not experienced with these rooms. The staff is extremely friendly. The game has a lot of little details. It is fun. I give it a five stars. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it I would say have more than two people to do this Tokyo one the more is extremely five stars fun and starts off easy.

Prior to our visit to Limitless Axes & Ales, we took part in an event at Limitless Escape Games, and it was fantastic. The team worked together seamlessly and managed to exit the escape room with five minutes to spare. The experience was both challenging and rewarding, fostering excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills. The staff was professional, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend Limitless Escape Games for any group looking to strengthen team bonds and improve collaboration within their organization.

The room was well crafted and the puzzles engaging and interesting. The staff were super friendly and everything worked quite well. Only nitpick is that its pretty easy to hear ppl in the rooms from the lobby and other rooms so it breaks the immersion and kind of gives away some of the other rooms. Im sure we were heard in other rooms too.

We did the Morgue on Mother’s Day with a party of 6, consisting of 5 adults and one 12 year old. We loved it! I was worried about the gore but felt it was similar to, if not less than, walking through a haunted house. We finished in 40 minutes and used 2 clues. I feel like we could have finished with only one clue but started to get worried about the time. Since it was the last “obstacle” we finished in a sec with the clue and should have taken the time to work it out. Loved it and would do another one with this company.

Finding all the clues and trying to determine what to do, was pretty challenging, needless to say, we didnt finish in time, but overall my party enjoyed the experience. We have done a couple in the past and had completed them, this was the first one that stumped us. When we asked for clues, they provided content that we had already started to work on which wasnt helpful, but when we made that comment out loud they gave additional info that was actually insightful, which was fair and appreciated. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again. Side note, would recommend for older kids/teens, as the process of figuring out the clues might be too difficult for kids younger than 10 or so.

This is our fourth game that my family has played. We have played in Livermore and now Pleasanton. Jacob was our guide on Fri and was a great sport. We love doing these games as a family and try to do at least one every time we get together again!

Awesome! We did the Forbidden Temple and it was really cool, difficulty was tough and we had to ask for a few hints to solve the room but I wouldn’t want it to be easier. The sound effects, decorations, and general ambience was really well done.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time in all of these rooms. Thank you for these experiences that have brought us closer together and bolstered our communication in our personal lives. The atmosphere was immersive, the puzzles were challenging yet solvable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved every minute of it and cant wait to come back for another thrilling adventure. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an exciting escape room experience!

We did the Morgue and it was fun. My wife, sister-in-law, and kids were all screaming due to the way this was set up. I recommend it but not for young kids, 13+ only. Definately a great Holloween treat.

Great place to celebrate a Birthday party.Everyone had a blast. My daughter and her friends had to figure it out how to resolve the case, with not luck this time, but keep us busy and working all the time.The place was clean, the staff were so nice and everything was right on time.

Great place for family activity !Very pleasant and welcoming crew that provides clear instructions. Games / puzzles are loads of fun. We have been at Pleasanton and Livermore locations and had loads of fun solving the escape room puzzles. Definitely recommend if you have not tried already.

My group of seven recently played the Agent Tokyo game.Firstly, the lack of immersion was a notable drawback. Unlike traditional enclosed rooms, the setting felt disconnected, with the adjacent axe throwing area causing distractions with the sound of axes hitting walls and peoples chatter.Despite this setback, the linear progression of puzzles was a redeeming quality. The cohesive flow allowed for a focused approach, though we still required four clues to navigate through, ultimately escaping with a mere three minutes to spare.Compared to other escape rooms Ive tried, Agent Tokyo lands somewhere in the middle. It lacked the adrenaline rush and suspense I like in a game, and there were instances where we felt stumped, something that doesn’t often happen.However, its worth noting that the experience catered well to our diverse group, which included an eight-year-old, four teens, and two adults. Despite its shortcomings, everyone had a fun time.

We did The Morgue escape room. It was SOOO good. Only reason they arent getting five stars is cause it was a bit too hard for me, and theres a couple of small things that could be improved/repaired. (The videos before the game started could use subtitles, one of the elements didnt respond at first) But otherwise it was great! If you arent a haunt actor, youd probably find it scary.

Increased my rating from 3 to 4 stars because Limitless was very easy to work with in resolving our issues reported below.BLUF - escape games are always fun but do not try to play with more than 6 people. We booked two games and had to pay for 10 spots for each game to reserve game times for just our family. The Tokyo game is poorly designed, in part because most of the action occurs in a very small room that can accommodate only two people. Most of our family had to stand against the wall and not participate in this game. The Morgue game is well-designed, and can accommodate up to 6 people playing. Because we had played Tokyo the day before we only had 6 of us attend, and while it would have been more comfortable with 4-5 players, all 6 of us did find a way to participate. Emily who was running our game was great.

There need to be better branding. We thought the Axe Throwing and Limitless Escape games were all in one. Once we figure out they were separate it was too late to get a refund we were told by the manager. When in fact we just purchased the tickets. Strange but ok. Into the games, we had the morgue game and the clues were not very good. very vague, im mean were not the sharpest, but not the dullest either. overall it was fun, could use some of things i mentioned above... but to be told that we couldnt get a refund is a new one on me. However, we did get a 20% discount on the Axe Throwing.

Just for this visit, I’d have to give it a low rating. I’ve been to multiple Limitless Escape Rooms and have been a fan of them all. But this most recent experience in the Forbidden Temple: 1) The room was unprepared and reset improperly, an important part of the room was not reset from the previous players so it was misleading which caused us lose 10-15 minutes, 2) The instructions were unclear, we were told that excessive force would be unnecessary, but a part of the puzzle required me to use all of my strength and I weigh 200lbs. My girlfriend and I were afraid that if we used the amount of force demonstrated by the employee, we’d break the puzzle, 3) Never has an escape room required us to actually get dirty, some may say it was an immersive experience and some may not appreciate it. We didn’t mind it and the Game Master was accommodating after we informed him that the room had some mistakes on their end, he allowed us to continue a little longer and walked us through towards the end, so it upped this rating from 1 to 2 stars

We were a party of 5, joined by another party of 4 to solve Agent Tokyo. It was WAY too many people and the majority of the clues were in spaces meant for 2-3. I (and others) stood around for most parts of the game because there wasn’t room. The puzzles had to go in order so most of us couldn’t do anything until the first 2 people solved their clue and then now we have 9 people trying to figure out the next step. This room should’ve been capped at 6 people max.This was a very fun game and both employees were great, but half of the group was not able to be involved and didn’t get to participate for the majority of the game.

We were very impressed with the escape room! We did The Temple and the kids said they felt like they were in an Indiana Jones movie. It was very challenging but we had so much fun! If theres one constructive criticism I have is having the staff be in character when introducing the challenges. This would enhance the experience and earn a 5-star rating!

Tackled forbidden temple in Pleasanton for a kid birthday party. The room was great, well put together and manageable for our group. However staff wasn’t ready for us and we waited in the lobby for 15 minutes before anyone even came out to the front, had to hunt someone down. And in the meantime there was a very graphic video played in a loop advertising for The Morgue which was incredibly inappropriate for an under 18 group at 3pm on a saturday

My son and I had a great time in the Lost Tomb room. Escape rooms are his favorite activities.Francisco was friendly at check in and gave a great opening story-which really engaged my son. He also let us know about a great offer to save on the next visit. Great Escape room experience!My partner and I did this escape room and were very happy with it.My complaints are that the room can be difficult in unintended ways, mostly due to a lack of upkeep.No spoilers, but some solutions require matching symbols and colors, however the tiles were in a very dark part of the room and some tiles were so faded they were barely legible.There were also a few puzzles that were janky, like they had been there for a while and were close to breaking.Another complaint I had was that when certain things were revealed, a box or compartment would open with a very loud bang, which was very anxiety inducing. I feel like there should be a way to design them to be a bit better, so I would really like to see that.Overall good, but could use some updating.

Weve been to a number of escape rooms and this experience was a disappointment. The clues given were things we had already done. It didnt seem like the staff was really paying attention or engaged. There was quite a lag between when we asked for a clue and were given one. We were abruptly rushed out at the end. The scenario of the escape had a lot of potential for fun if only the staff had been more attentive and there wasnt conflicting information about the force needed to solve one of the puzzles.

Took four 13 year old girls and they loved it! Staff was so friendly and nice.
