I booked the hour for a work team building outing and we all had a blast. My team really enjoyed solving the puzzles and worked together to get the gem and the break out of the room for the Bank Heist. They all said they had so much fun and loved it!Thank you for being flexible on booking a time before normal working hours. You made the day start out right for our team meeting.Thank you!

Had an excellent time! We went with a group of 7 on a Saturday evening and luckily got a (pirate) room just to ourselves. At our reservation time they got us in quickly and we ALMOST won!!!The room was immersive. This escape room was definitely more puzzle oriented than another escape room I visited but I honestly like that more. 5/5 will probably go back and try another room

We will not be back to this business. My child celebrated her bday at Limitless escape room in Livermore yesterday, and had the worst birthday ever. The small group of kids were admitted to the game earlier than the allotted time, one of the guest who was running late could not join, the staff rushed them through the game because they had to clean for the next group, which supposedly was waiting already when there was nobody in the lobby, the kids had to wait a long time for their clues when they asked taking away from:their play time, just unwelcoming vibe all around. When I went back in an hour after they were admitted to the game room, to pick them up, they had already been waiting outside for a while. Maybe, if you are an adult, you might be treated better because you could speak up for yourself. I would not recommend the place, there are far better places in the area where we have played.

Fun first time! Did the Wizards themed escape room. The scenery and prop design is done very well. My only critique was the last puzzle we were working on. Music volume in the room was too loud and voices that give you puzzle info were too quiet at times which made it difficult at times. At one point we asked them to turn off the music cause it was too much.We did the last puzzle correctly but there was a small issue of pressing buttons hard enough which was a little frustrating since we were so close to finishing before time ran out.Overall experience was much better than other escape rooms Ive done besides the few technical mishaps, but at least the atmosphere is really awesome!

My granddaughters and I really enjoyed the Pirates Escape Room. Although we did not escape the Kraken, we only missed one clue that might have provided our escape. Lots of fun with intelligent eleven year olds!

Such a fun time! Me and friends came on Friday to do the pirate themed escape. Game master was very night, super helpful, and great at explaining. The room was a lot of fun and we had a great time! The staff was welcoming and helped us figure out what we wanted them to do, even though we didnt have a reservation. The puzzles were the right level of challenging and the range kept us guessing. The atmosphere in the room was excellent, the decor and ambient sound really added to the experience. We loved it and even booked our next visit on the way out (they offered a return discount).

Horrible experience here. First their website was not easy to use. Secondly, the fact that they cap guesses at 3 and refuse to give more than 3 is wild to me. When I asked the person she explained that it’s not fair to give more than 3 guesses. Like there is some world ranking for escape rooms. Or that our game is not letting other games be fair. No other place does that none. Overall we got stuck and didn’t finish the room not enjoyable at all.

Wizard room is a great game - brought 2 ten year olds and they absolutely loved it. Thematic set, immersive sounds, theatrical lighting and some surprises all made for a great time. Tracey was wonderfully accommodating. Definitely check it out.

It was my first time in an escape room and I only went because my wife had been in one before. Let me tell you, the outside of this place, especially after dark, doesnt look like much. However when you enter its a different story, the room(s) are very detailed with so many little clues peppered around. We had a wonderful experience even if we werent able to escape. In fact, we went with kids and we let them work to solve the clues as much as possible, but in hindsight we should have helped more as there are so many activities to do anyway. The hour passed in the room was extremely fun, I truly recommend this experience.

We booked the Wizard School room for a birthday celebration this weekend. I was disappointed with the experience. The room has props that talk and you need to listen to them to find the next clue. However, these props are not working and you can barely hear what is being said. Even when everyone was pin drop quiet I could not hear. I exited the room and let the staff person know. She told me that they were aware of the issue but could not do anything.I feel rather cheated that I paid full price for a room and got a room that isnt functioning properly. So much time was wasted unnecessarily in trying to hear the props which is really frustrating. I dont think it is fair to run a room that has technical issues and then charge people and not tell them in advance. The issue is that the room has background music playing which is at a high volume this makes it almost impossible to hear what the props are saying.Additionally, I think the place is very short staffed. Even though we were the only people there for a 2:30 time slot the staff person took a long time to provide clues when we asked for them.In all, I have done other escape rooms that are better managed and I would not recommend the Wizard School - Heart of the Dragon experience until they fix the technical issues. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Had a wonderful time in the Wizarding School room. First escape room experience ever and was not disappointed. The challenge was there, but the room still was approachable and workable in the time allotted. We finished with roughly 3 minutes to spare and enjoyed the pressure and the secrets the room contained. Will absolutely be visiting limitless again on my next visit to the area!

Ive been to several Escape Rooms around the Bay area and the customer service provided by Torri was amazing. After my friend and I finished the Pirates Adventure Room (this is my 5th room with them; Sherlock, Sherlock Halloween, Monster Mash, Bank Hiest) and we were trying to re-book another room for 25% off which is what was advertised on the television in the lobby but she explained to me that they lowered it to 20%. When I asked to speak to the manager-on-duty, he was rude and said they wont honor their mistake on the screen and their hands are tied.

The older lady at this place completely ruined the whole experience. She was rude. Condescending and CLEARLY did not want to work there or have anyone enjoy the experience. She didnt even let us hold the signs and take the picture after the game which says we lost or won like every escape room does...she clearly resents working there and does not care about the business. Their attention to detail is amazing, the rooms look fantastic and the clues are genuinely challenging and interesting. I did the pirate room, and the bank heist with some friends on separate days. I like the rooms, but always have issues. First time we went, room was overbooked and we were given a voucher for another time. No refunds. Now we have we have our children,(under 10) and are forced to pay for all 10 tickets. And they only do this on the weekends. Exceptions during the week. If this was a law, I could understand. This is all about money. All this to say, I’m not recommending you spend your hard earned money here if you have a family (kids under 10) and want to enjoy a fun time these escape rooms. Save your earnings and look for places that welcome people, not just in it for the quick cash.

Such a fun experience! There were 9 of us total so we were able to solve Bank Heist in 30 minutes. Megan let us play another round (we chose the Pirate one!) since we had so much time left. I thought she would stop us at the hour mark but she let us play until we solved it!! It was super kind of her to let us finish up even though it was 10:30 pm by the time we were done. Definitely made our experience even better!The rooms are super detailed and there were plenty of clues for everyone to work on something simultaneously. One of the best escape rooms I’ve been to - can’t wait to come back to play the Wizards one!

We went to Limitless as a team building event for our office. Front desk staff was very kind, helped our team figure out WiFi connection to complete the waiver. Some people from our group showed up late, however, we were still able to complete (and ESCAPE) our Pirate adventure in time. Boosted the morale of our team, really brought to light our problem-solving skills as well as ability to work as a team. We will definitely be back!

Came here on a week night and it was totally empty and deserted. The lobbys air freshener is on crack. If you are scent sensitive be warned. We did our little adventure and had a good time but a lot of stuff was put back together wrong. There was a combination lock for example and we lined up the numbers with the little notch… that anyone might but we think the guy put the lock back in upside down?? And in the diamond room… the diamond case was open when we got there?? There were some things we did wrong, that we found eventually would open the case and… well.. When you walk into a diamond heist and the safe is open? Come on. Seems like this is a common thing for escape rooms. The guy did offer to walk us through it. We were so close. Fun ideas but expect mistakes. It’s a privately owned place by a couple. Their story is on the wall in the building. Also lots of parking and clean restrooms. Also maybe make a reservation in advance so they have ample time to reset the room. We came 20 minutes early to the 7pm one which should’ve been more than enough time.. I dunno.

This was our second time here and our second time with the wonderful Keaton running our game. Despite being the only employee and running three games at once, he was super attentive and very helpful. He made us feel right at home and we had a great time.Bank Heist is definitely an older room and a little more simple than we are used to, but it was still a lot of fun. We finished with an extra 20 minutes left over and that was taking our time. Wizard School was more complex and definitely more challenging. We still managed mange to finish, but it was close.We can’t wait to come back for the Halloween themed room in a couple weeks!

I had never done an escape room before and didn’t really know what to expect. I was very impressed with the details, variability and overall fun that the room had to offer. We had eight adults and were able to escape with 2:17 left on our time. Everyone had a different perspective and added their own unique spin to solving the puzzles. Super fun activity and I will definitely want to do more!

We had a great time. This was my second trip here and we did the Sherlock Holmes room. The puzzles were varied and they all worked smoothly, no technical difficulties. Sienna was our host and she was helpful and very friendly. We escaped with 10 minutes to spare and my family used the extra time to chat and book a future appointment for the last room. Very cool experience. I’ve been here twice(did the pirate escape room and the Heist escape room), and both groups had a lot of fun. Puzzles are challenging, and well thought out. Plus, the hints were nice to have whenever we got stumped.The staff are nice, and they make sure you and your friends have a great time. For $35/person, I’d say it’s very much worth it, and I’d go back if the opportunity presented itself.

I went here for a friends birthday and it was SUPER fun. We good friends, great puzzles (Sherlock Room), and an amazing host (Sienna) to make it a brilliant time. The puzzles were really fun, challenging, and thought provoking. It also helped that all of my friends are pretty smart and they helped immensely along the way. Again, I have to give a big shout out to our amazing host Sienna for great clues and an even better attitude. I would DEFINITELY go back time and time again to complete all of the puzzles. My husband and I did this for a date night. We didn’t really know what we were getting into, but it turned out so fun! We did the bank heist. The puzzles were hard, but engaging. We were really into solving our room for the full hour. Our game master, Allison, was awesome and gave us clues when we needed them. Highly recommend for a fun night out as a couple or with friends.

Id say this place is good if its your first time doing an escape room or youre going with children/family. This was my very first Escape Room experience and I loved every second of it! We had a group of 8 friends in the Sherlock Room and it was REALLY well done! The room felt like I was taken back in time and was very real to the time period.This is a great activity for everyone of all ages and backgrounds! Im a mom of a toddler so it was really nice to Escape for an hour and work my mommy brain out :-) and think through the clues to solve the game. If you get stuck, you can ask for clues. Im sure it would be great for corporate team building, as it took all of us working together as a team to get through the game. Would make a cool double date with two couples or a fun bonding experience for a group of friends or even a family. I cant wait to go back and experience the other two rooms!!! Would recommend that everyone visit them at least once but youll probably get hooked after the first time and be back for the other two like I will be!And finally, the owners are awesome! This was my first time playing one of these escape rooms, so I didn’t really know what to expect, and after playing I can honestly say I had a blast!! Kaleigh was our game master and was fantastic at setting the scene (we did the Bank Heist scenario), keeping tabs on our group’s progress (and throwing a breadcrumb once in awhile) and then busting us as the “cops” when we didn’t beat the timer! The puzzles and clues are awesomely well done and flow well with the theme. My whole group had a phenomenal time and we are already making plans to re-group, come back and play the Pirates room. We escaped with three minutes to go and I was impressed that with 12 of us (10 of them 10 year olds) that we made it. Thanks to Charlie for helping the girls at their level, giving us lots of clues and being an energetic host! He was patient and answered lots of questions up front for the girls too. It was our Junior Girl Scout’s year end get together and the girls left ready to go to another escape room. For most of them it was their first time. The Sherlock Holmes room was a blast full of lots of surprises and puzzles great for many different strengths and personalities! If you have a big group this is the room for you.

Did all 3 rooms with my family. We just did the bank heist yesterday. All 3 rooms were very well designed referring to the puuzzles and the sets. The game master was nice, and helpful. Our family had 2 adults, one 15yr, and one 11yr old. I feel that this is a very family friendly room. Ive done both the Sherlock and Pirate rooms with groups of 3 people total. Absolutely GREAT experience! Both times staff gave us helpful hints and were very accommodating. Lindsey was a great game master - very attentive with hints that gave us just enough direction! The puzzles are very well done and no where close to too easy. The environments are also stellar! Been here twice now to two different rooms and I’ve done many different escape rooms but I particularly love this place. The rooms are super well detailed and the “puzzles” aren’t just padlocks like in several other escape room places. Definitely a great time and I love that you can book privately if you buy close to an hour before as they take listing down an hour before the play time, so even without actually buying “private” rooms. Our Girl Scout troop wanted to celebrate their year together by breaking out of an escape room. Limitless escape games in Livermore made planning and organizing this feel effortless. I had called to leave a message to ask about availability and whether or not these games were suitable for the age limit we were looking for. They called me back twice to make sure that I had all of the information I needed to make the reservation. They were very accommodating and very helpful. I cannot recommend them enough. With a group of 14 plus adults we were a little loud and disorganized but the guys at the front were awesome. I know I spoke with at least John and Matt both of whom were patient, attentive and very clear with their communications. This business and their employees are THE example of great customer service. Did two games here and had allot of fun. Did bank heist and pirate ship and really liked both of them. Felt bad for thegirl working because she had to work all the rooms by herself. We reserved a private room for a group of 10 here on a Saturday morning. The reservation was easy to make on the phone and once we got there check in was simple and fast. they took us back to our room (Bank Heist), explained the rules and how it operated then it was game time. We had a blast working together trying to steal the diamond and we succeeded with a few minutes to spare. It was definately a good time for all. The age range was 12-40 in our group and everyone was able to partake. I would reccomend this as a team building experience or even just for fun.

Our group of friends can be deemed Escape Room hobbyists at this point. Weve found that the quality of an escape room experience relies on the following:1. The quality of the puzzles: do all of the locks works? Do the lights work? Are the gimmicks with the puzzles fun and sensible instead of needlessly obtuse?2. The quality of the story: does the story keep you on the rails? Does it make sense? Do the puzzles and scenery integrate with the overall plot?3. The staff: does their intro/primer help you resolve the rooms? Do their clues have enough information to help you figure it out on your own or do they just answer the puzzle for you?This escape room was 100% on point. We did the Bank Heist themed one and solving the escape room was incredibly satisfying. The puzzles are very well built; everything worked and required some out of the box thinking. Further, the story was simple and straightforward. We had an objective and that was all that we needed to focus on.We want to highlight our favorite part of the escape room: Sienna. We didnt need many clues, but when we did, she left enough information for us to get to the answers ourselves. She was our cheerleader the whole time and really made sure we had a great experience.The overall quality of this place was the best escape room weve been to. Everything was clean, the locks were not needlessly overused or tricky, and the staff is genuinely friendly and excited to help you have a great time. Well be coming back to do the other rooms!

I can speak only to two rooms, the Pirate room and the Bank Heist. Both are elaborately and thematically decorated. Both have interesting puzzles.The pirate rooms puzzles are on the easier side, but still fun. I give that one a 5.The bank heists puzzles are more difficult and would be fun, but the mood lighting in the room is so overdone that it ruins the experience. 45 minutes in I had such a headache from squinting my eyes and constantly having to prop up my cellphone flashlight while taking notes on a low contrast black screenpad that I just wanted it to end. Theyll tell you as you are walking into that room that its okay to use your phones for lighting. That isnt just them being nice I discovered. It isnt just okay to use your phones flashlight. Its required. The room isnt possible without bringing in your own lights. I give this room a 1. 5 for the puzzles. 5 for the decorations and theme. 0 for the lighting. Great potential that is ruined by the rooms poor lighting choices.Ive not done their third room.

The bank heist was so much fun. We failed 😢. My kids had a blast. Sedar(sorry if I miss spelled his name) was awesome when he came knocking on the bank door saying he was the police. Felt so real that my Apple Watch told me to breath 😂😂😂 Would totally come back again to try a different room.

Expereince was had a great time but something is sketchy about the person who works there. I used two different cards and they both got hacked. I got a charge for $144, $79, and $217 from 3 different locations and both card have only been used at this location, they were both brand new and havnt been used anywhere else. Either their company is dishonest or the person working there is not. Please be careful when using card and check it after you leave this place.

This was our 2nd time at Limitless Escape Games in Livermore. We had A LOT of fun with the Sherlock Holmes game last time (even though we didnt win) so we came back, this time with family. We did the Bank Heist and Charlie was our game guide. Before we even got there the reservation team did a GREAT job getting us a last minute spot.The game as REALLY fun - from the decorations to the scenario to the clues and activities. Charlie gave us the gameplan and helped with clues along with the way. We were able to win this time. The games are so different that you can have a unique experience each time you return. We recommend Limitless Experience Games to families & friends.

This was our second visit to LEG. The first Sherlock Holmes mystery (5 dudes ) had several puzzles that could be solved simultaneously, while the Bank Heist was more sequential. Both times we rented out all 10 spots. So in the Holmes mystery more people were engaged at the same time solving different puzzles, while in the heist we were progressing through the puzzles as a group. I preferred the Sherlock and thought the heist was easier, less complex.

First time doing an escape room. Staff asks that you put any phone and/or keys into a locker prior to the game starting. My group was about 6 people. Was grouped with another 5 people for our pirate escape. I would say that having too many people during the game can definitely slow you down. There was only one hiccup with an incorrect lock being placed where it shouldnt have that slowed it down, but staff corrected the issue and reset our time to accurately reflect our escape time. Will return to try other escape rooms in the future.

Our friends had auch a great first time at limitless escape room in Livermore. We were an obnoxious to 😬😬😁😁I did good except for I forgot I had our locker key in my pocket and when we were desperate for answers I felt the key and forgot when I git it and assumed that uh haha because I was the clue master I had been given a key so we spent like 5 min trying to open things 😂😂 found out later from Emma our host that it was our locker key holding our phones and jackets 🤦🏻‍♂️Shout to Emma our host she was really cool and helpful! We took the family here for a birthday event . Everyone loved it. I always thought I was a smart cookie. I didnt figure out any one clue. Thank goodness my children. They were catching on quick. It was wonderful to see them working together. They offered a 20 percent discount for booking again but it had to be before you leave. I recomended that they should at least give people a week or 2 to decided and still get a discount. Other than that. This was a great thing to do in livermore.
