I was aware of the issues I was having with my vehicle and had an estimate from another repair shop without them seeing my vehicle, I spoke to Chris from Lima auto repair who explained that a full and thurough inspection would be required to pinpoint the exact issue. After it was determined to be the issue I was aware of, the vehicle was repaired with expertise and I was informed of other repairs that would be necessary in the near future. I was never intimidated or pressured for any additional repairs, I actually saved $300.00 from the initial estimate from the other repair shop. I am going to let my friends and family know of the very positive experience I had at Lima auto repair. Thanks Chris and crew.

I came in with a minor issue after coming from another shop that was clearly overcharging. I was helped out by Chris and he was very helpful and helped me patch up my issue relatively quickly and at a fair price. Would definitely return if my car ever needs any other repairs.

Professional and organized people with a full-service shop in a convenient location. They only handled a transmission diagnostic but would have been happy to do the required work with them if it wasnt for my budget. They were very courteous and not pushy about the situation whatsoever.

My 1st time at Lima Auto Repair was a great experience.. Great customer service. They did a vehicle inspection on my 1999 Honda Accord and explained everything in person and in writing on what was wrong and recommendations I needed for my car.. Right from beginning had a great experience over the phone and in person. Was having issues with a/c and let them know what parts I had changed my self. They fixed issue and had the car ready within a couple of hours. Great experience. I will be taking my other cars to them for sure.

My brother-in-law recommended Lima Auto Repair to me when I moved into the Temple City area last year. They have worked on my car twice now, both times for maintenance check-ups. (I think thats important since my car is nearing the 200,000 mile mark.) While I would consider them on the somewhat pricey side, at the same time, I would also say that they seem very thorough, honest, and professional about their work, so youre getting what youre paying for. Bottom line is my car has been doing fine since Ive been seeing them and thats what counts.

I hate to drive so you know Lima is fantastic because I drive from the San Fernando Valley to Rosemead which is a long freeway drive. Mike and Chris are the best, the customer service is excellent, the repairs and maintenance are excellent, they are extremely honest which is rare in business, and their prices are great! My whole family goes there including my mom who lives in Rosemead but also my aunt who drives from Orange County.If you want the best of everything, check out Lima Auto Repair... Ive been going to Lima Auto Repair for several years now and Ive always been treated very professionally and kindly. Chris the manager always demonstrates good customer service with excellent communication on my concerns. They complete the work in a timely manner and provide recommendations for additional work but with no pressure to do so. They provide me with a ride to and from home if requested. Ive had oil changes, brakes, radiator, and other miscellaneous work performed there with no issues. I will continue to use Lima Auto Repair for all my auto needs.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Lima Auto Repair. From big problems that I had to have my car towed there, to mundane oil changes! I trust them implicitly. They are kind and respectful as well. I wouldnt trust my car with any other shop.Recently we brought our three cars in for service in anticipation of selling. A few years ago, I had reached my limit with the car dealer doing my repairs. My cars model year is notorious for glitches, so I was in the shop all the time. I have been so glad to have since found Lima Auto Repair. I dont bring my car in for repairs nearly as often as I was before. Chris and Mike have been informative, efficient, and helpful. It is a comfort to have found great auto care close to home.

I have had great experiences with Lima Auto. They fix the problem completely and are very honest about what and what is not needed. I had taken my car to Sears to check my brakes and they told me I needed new rotors and new brakes, but when I took it to Lima, they showed me that there was more than sufficient life left. That was 2 years ago and they are still running fine. That gives me great confidence when it comes to bigger jobs, I know that if Mike or Chris recommend something, it is a honest recommendation and the work will be done correctly. They are the only place I take my cars.

Took my Suburban in to Lima for the first time a couple weeks ago to have a nail removed from a tire. Spoke to Mike and explained that this was my first visit here due to my other mechanic retiring that I had used the last 25 years. Mike fixed the tire in less than 10 minutes at no charge. Very efficient and professional. Will be taking all my vehicles here from now on.

Fast in and out. Looked over my Toyota Avalon that I was preparing to sell and they showed me what was going on with it. Gave reasonable quotes. Came to Mike and co. for some help with my Alternator/Battery system. After dealing with the Dealership and their crazy fees for a simple task, working with Chris (The Manager) and his team was super easy and headache free. They were straightforward with the prices and what was wrong with the car. They didnt try to add any special services. I would go back to Lima Auto for other car problems and gladly refer this shop to any one I know. Honest and very nice.

Took my wifes 2013 Ford for a heavy grinding noise they let me leave the car overnight. The next day they found the issue and communicated with me along with other minor issues that the car had. Did not try and sell me other unesicery service ie. Fuel injector cleaner. Will definitely be taking the car back for its next service.

I came here as I do not have my coverage with Carmax anymore since I paid off my vehicle so this was my first out-of-pocket expense and I was a bit wary Cuz this is the first mechanic I took my jeep to oher than Carmax. And Chris and his team treated me very well very professional called me before they did any job with a quote and smooth sailing here so now I got to take my car back to get smog check and hopefully it passes. it does feel better when I turn on the ignition so problem solved I recommend these guys and hopefully while hopefully I don’t need a car service but if I do I will go to them again

Had my truck break down on a Wednesday evening on my way home from work. It happened just across the street from Lima Auto Repair just as they were closing. The guys there really took care of me. They stuck around an extra 20 minutes and got my truck over to the shop so I wouldn’t need a towe. Worked with Chris to leave it there over night. They were able to diagnose the problem the next morning and completed the repair by that afternoon. I was back on the road less than 24 hours from the time my truck broke down. Price for the repair was fair and service was excellent. Chris really went the extra mile to get me out of a tough situation. I would recommend them to anyone.

Another great experience at Limas! My 2002 Honda CRV is running like a 2018 after a tow from the valley to Lima Auto Repair. Just so you know, I live out in the Valley near Sherman Oaks (Universal Studios) and I ONLY bring my cars to Lima for repair because they are the most honest business (auto repair or other) that you will ever come across. I use to live in Rosemead but after moving and trying repair shops and local dealerships in the valley its worth it to me to drive to Limas and know that Im getting the right things done, getting great service and being charged more than a fair price. I used to go to a mechanic close to my house and discovered that they usually did not completely fix the problem and kept repeating that my car is old and will not last very long. That was three years ago. I started going to Lima Auto and found out that driving a little bit is definitely worthwhile. Chris and Mike are honest and reliable in all they do. If you come in with a problem and they deem it minor, they let you know. They never exaggerate the problem and their cost is reasonable. They are courteous and work with integrity. If and when I have mechanical/car issues, I really stopped worrying because I know and trust Chris and Mike to help me.

Nefty from Company C Tire recommended Lima Auto Repair to work on my 2000 Ford Excursion. I thought it needed a new engine (V10) and Chris quoted me $8,500 for a rebuilt engine including labor. However, upon further examination, it was the oil cooler. Chris quoted $1,800 for parts and labor. But after replacing the oil cooler, radiator, o-ring seals, thermostat, hoses, expansion tank, sensors, etc and flushing out the entire system, the bill came to only $1,600. Great work Lima. And they even wanted it!

Pulled into a gas station right up the street to fill up. Unfortunately my fuel pump decided it was the perfect spot to stop working. Looked for a shop that would be able to do the work quickly. They fixed a truck I bought for my nephews. and great job to my nephew He simply asked if they needed summer help. he is in highschool and has no experience but since buying the truck he has wanted to learn mechanics and well Great on Lima! The owner asks him some questions and now my nephew has a Summer Job learning Mechanics. I cant emphasize enough how easy this process was. I worked with Christian on my mothers 2006 Nissan, which was having a lot of problems. We had several people look at it previously and we got a wide variety of diagnoses, with no straight forward answers. Lima told me what was really wrong, how to fix it, and what to expect in the future with a vehicle of this age. They were HONEST- the most important aspect of auto repair. I will be back again and I would recommend them to anybody.

Great place! Great people! First time took Lexus GX in to replace the rear suspensions. Initial cost was $2100 two day later Chris called and the car was done and lower it down to $1750. Wow! Can’t get any better than that. Definitely earn my future business. Thanks guys

Lima was referred to me through my mechanic who retired. He made sure Lima wldntake care of his customers. If he trusted them then I thought I wld too. I’ve been coming 2 years and haven’t been disappointed yet. They’re fairly priced and I’ve never had a dispute. Plus, I come in and drop off with no hassle. Don’t need an appointment, they’re quick! If you want a great shop that puts in the best time and labor and puts in the right part for your vehicle go here Mike owns the shop. Chris is the man who runs the in takes and out takes. Both great guys. Look the parta they believe in putting in a better than what other shops put in. They last way longer than the onestandard the others put in. Why go anywhere else. The others charge you for not good parts that dont last. So Lima Auto Repair is great.

We brought our work truck in for service. We had a few specific criteria, we needed the tuner we bought to work, as we were towing. We also felt the truck was running rich and wanted it diagnosed. They said that there was no way to get the tuner to work, since we deleted our cats. However, the tuner was marketed to work best without cats and DPF? They returned the truck with the check engine light still on, still running rich, and with the tuner not working, and a $650 bill. They were vague about what they even fixed, and kept saying something about the alarm system. They even tried charging 60 dollars to remove the battery? Thats two bolts and takes like 10 minutes..They dont really make too much of an effort to clearly explain the work they do, and it seems like they would take advantage of people if they can.

Mike found an electrical gremlin in my Winnebago that RV shops could not find. His team also did a safety check and altered me to a couple of issues that they also repaired. When I picked up the rv, the car I was driving(Civic) had a computer issue, so I traded vehicles and they made short work of that problem! My car had a Immobilizer problem that needed immediate attention. Mike helped out and explained the entire procedure of what went wrong and why it happened. It took a few days for the part to come in and have it reprogram to my car, but it was worth the wait. They even followed up a text to see if there were any other concerns with my vehicle. Overall, the process was hectic, but Mike put my concerns to rest.

It was bad, I took my mustang for a window fix cause the motor was bad, the price for the window its 80 dollars and they sold it to me for a 124 and I say ok cause a thought they were selling me the whole thing and after 3 days the window fail againg and christ toll me tat he need to check it again probably it was something wrong with the assembly or the rail window and it was gonna cost me more, but I told him didnt you sell me the whole assembly for 124$ he said no it was only the motor WTF the motor its only 80$ I told him, and he said not at this shop wat tats BS, I had paid 280$ for a window fix and still doesnt work properly so I never came back to this shop, they look honest but they still rip off ppl
