The best skate shop in cali bottom line. Love these guys. Cool to just hang out, even if you’re not buying anything. Have everything you’ll need and more, plus very dog friendly. Much love you guys! Happy 8 years!EDIT: went back the next day and shelled out for a pair of Emerica Pillars and a whole new board. Wouldn’t be any place I would rather spend my money. These guys are so cool and are happy to help you with whatever you need. Will come back every time I visit SB! Must visit if you skate.The trash bags in the pic are because it was raining lol

Bought my first board from them back in August. Had an amazing experience talking to everyone and got a beautiful board! The folks here are super nice and will help you out with anything you need, even if you are just a beginner. Would highly recommend.

Legends running the best skate shop on the west coast, theyve got everything you need at way cheaper than all the other stores Ive seen. With a welcoming party of dogs to great you at the door and then knowledgeable crew behind the counter you really cant go wrong with gearing up at the lighthouse Skate Shop. 10/10 would come again if they didnt set me up for life with the stuff I got there the first time.

Amazing experience! My sons birthday was today and all he’s been asking months for is a skateboard. I have never skateboarded and had no idea what to look for. Stop by this shop today and he took his time with my son and explained everything while customizing his board. Thank you so much for the great day.

My daughter wanted to get fitted for a board so we went to Lighthouse, which was recommended by a friend. Canaan and Spencer are awesome, they were so patient and helpful and helped my girl pick out a nice deck, showed her the process of putting the trucks and applying the grip, and generally are just super cool and nice guys. I highly recommend Lighthouse Skate Shop! What a great location too!

Went in just out of curiosity, came out with a great sweater of their own design and got the best dinner recommendation of the vacation on top of it. unbelievably nice guys, authentic skate store, well selected small assortment of goods. love it.

Just bought my nine year old his first skateboard and these guys were amazing! They made it a really cool and special experience, they are ridiculously nice, really helpful, and he is so excited. Best experience shopping for anything in a long time, made the whole trip!

Lighthouse was such a cool place. I am not a skateboarder, but saw the outside of the shop and had to go in. I ended up buying a graphic t because I loved the design. The guy working, Spencer I think, told me they use local artists, which makes it even better. They have a cool selection of stuff, even if you don’t skate. Highly recommend checking this place out.

The best skate shop in Santa Barbara and its not even close! Im a beginner skater and stopped by just to buy parts for my new skateboard, but I walked out with much more than just a skateboard.When I approached the shop I was immediately greeted by several friendly staff and an employee named Spencer helped me pick out parts for my skateboard and answered any questions I had. On top of that he actually went above and beyond and took time out of his day to give me much needed advice on how to ride my new board, how to maintain it, essential tips and tricks, etc! If youre reading this Spencer, thank you so much for your help!I cant recommend this place enough, never once did I feel intimidated or unwelcome. All the staff were professional, kind and really know their craft. This business has for sure just scored a life long customer. Be sure to ask for Spencer if youre new to skating or have any questions, you wont regret it!

Naren was super helpful. They hooked me up. I wasnt made to feel like an old man. (Im 39). They didnt try to up sell me or anything. They put my board together and tightened it up for me. Super legit skate shop.

These guys are awesome. Kitted out our two boys. They were so patient and encouraging. Run by two young local guys - real skaters - who love what they do and it shows in spades. So much better than all the rest.

I took my kids to get boards for sk8 camp. Neren helped my son Max who is 5 and Spencer helped my daughter Ruby who is 8. Spencer and Neren could not have made this a more fun experience. They both walked the kids through each step of making their own unique boards. Picking out the board, skin, wheels, trucks and berrings and then showed them how to build it. Neren gave the kids several great tips on getting started. 1 out of 10 and this shop would get a 10 for customer service. Super knowledgeable and I couldnt recommend them enough. Great guys and a great skate shop!!

This place is the best ...two of the best dudes i know opened the shop shortly after church of skatan closed down because they love the santa barbara skate sene and skaters all together ...but the shop has every thing you could need at the best price and even if you could find something cheeper at zummys or powell it wouldnt be worth dealing with some kook that has no idea of what i real skater would want or need ....at the lighthouse your dealing with true skaters here for the skaters
