So I just came out of doing my taxes maybe half an hour ago, the gentleman that helped is Sanjeet and just wow. Honestly I never knew that doing your taxes could be fun not only that but he also made the process very easy and there was little to no stress. He is easy to talk to and personable. I LOVE this place! I travel a lot for work and honestly, filing taxes kept getting pushed to the bottom of my to do list. I was panicked since I was so late in filing. Sanjeet was AMAZING! He was so patient with my unorganized receipts, multiple investment property questions, and overall questions. When he was reviewing everything with me, it was more like a discussion with a friend and he even told me how to plan better for next year. My experience here at Liberty Tax Salinas CA on South Main was definitely like no other. From the moment I walked in until the time I left, it was nothing but great vibes. The service was exceedingly well and the Tax Consultant who handled my taxes was the best I have ever consulted with. The man’s name is Sanjeet Kumar, and not only was he the best consultant I have had, but he is also the owner of the franchise on South Main. Mr. Kumar was very attentive and welcoming, showing compassion and professionalism at all times. He was very respectful and asked all necessary questions to ensure that my taxes were filed in the most appropriate way. I have been working with Mr. Kumar for the last three years on my taxes. Quite honestly, he is the best person I have ever worked with in this capacity. Over the years, I have worked with tax accountants, H&R Block, CPAs and even done it myself, but no one has done the job as well as Mr. Kumar.He is smart, knowledgeable and thorough. He understands the process and explains it clearly to a novice like me. I have full confidence that my documents will be prepared correctly. He is very timely and the returns are prepared very quickly. I have had to wait weeks in the past but with Mr. Kumar, its just a matter of a few days if that long.In addition, he is a genuinely nice man with a pleasant personality and a nice sense of humor. In this line of work, thats almost a requirement. No one wants to hear they owe the IRS money but he helps us get through it with his kind demeanor.I am so glad that I found Mr.Kumar three years ago. Im so sad. I came to this place because of the good reviews but Im so disappointed I wont be going back. We were in the office for about 1 1/2 hour but that was not the problem Im disappointed because of how PRICEY they are it was my first time there and when we were done I was about to pay when Frank the person that filed for us told us that he had already deducted it from our refund I was surprised because he never told us how much he was going to charge us until we had sign:( anyways we pay almost $600 for hes service and no we dont own a business he just said because of my 4 dependants and that that was a lot of paperwork. So make sure you ask for price first.

Wow!!! Talk about exceptional customer service! I called Liberty Tax in a panic last year to get some back taxes take care of and Sanjeet was so kind and willing to help me with just a couple of hours notice. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a smiling face and offered water. I explained to Sanjeet what was going on and he went to work immediately. He was very personable and explained everything in a way that I would understand. This appointment unfortunately went longer than expected, and Sanjeet was kind enough to make sure everything I needed to file was taken care of. I have been coming to Sanjeet at Liberty Tax Service for 3 years now. Each year my income has gone up and each year suprisingly my Refunds have gone up as well. Sanjeet knows tax laws very well and always up to date on new laws, new tax bills, and tax acts that affect all of us. The highest Customer Service you can find on top of highest refunds!!! Yelps algorithm is a little off.I came to Sanjeet to file our 2017 taxes in 2019.We had 4 MAJOR real estate transactions and thousands of transactions to tally. It was a daunting task that required a huge amount of time and patience. Bookkeeping is not my strong suit and I did not want to wade through the transactions to mitigate substantial gains.Sanjeet patiently went through pages and pages of documents to maximize benefit and minimize liability.Instead of owing thousands, we actually are getting a refund. Amazing! My husband breathed a huge sighed of relief. If we owed dollar 1 we would be subject to fees and fines for being late. Because of the return we did not have to pay because we were so late.Definitely going to use him for 2018 (yup, we were late again this year)Thank again Sanjeet
