Had an incredible purchasing experience with the team at Lexus Santa Monica! Ken and Justin were so welcoming, warm and friendly, I felt like I was hanging out with old friends! Joon negotiated like a champ and got us an incredible deal on a 2024 Lexus GX. The car is beautiful! And to end the transaction, we spent time with Ara who was so personable, we spent most of our time laughing and having a great time and managed to do some paperwork too!From start to finish, buying this vehicle was an incredibly smooth process and the team was all-around amazing! My husband can be a toughie, and he even managed to crack several smiles!! Bough Lexus rx 500h from here. Great service and very friendly sales rep. Ken was really down to earth and easy to talk to. It made the transaction comfortable, albeit the process took longer than I expected. Finance Ryan was also very good. He was easy to talk and didnt force any additional insurance/warranty. He kept it as short as possible. I appreciated that. Overall, people here are really nice and easy to talk to. But still expect a long process.

Ken was the man. From the moment I texted him he was a gentleman, flexible, and I immediately trusted him when I met him. Very personable, didnt feel like I was being sold on anything, just informed. There was a moment when the Manager of the location stepped in and I did not have a good experience with him. I felt like he was bullying me, not listening, cutting me off mid sentence, and the dude was so pushy in a very distasteful way. Ken picked up on this and pulled me away from the conversation to resolve the concerns the manager was only making worse. 5 stars for Ken. 1 Star for the manager.

By far the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. The online price was true and no absurd dealer fees. Vehicle was exactly as described and the staff was very attentive. Also the shortest amount of time Ive spent at a dealership. I cant recommend their location enough. Mo was the best sales person Ive ever worked with. Heads up, the parking situation is a little confusing but its Santa Monica. Not a lot of space to work with. Not mentioning that as a complaint, just a heads up if you plan to go there.

We aren’t the quickest decision makers and find comfort in a very thorough review of the specs, financials, etc. Ken was patient and never rushed us, answered our questions and got additional consultation when we needed it. I purchased a beautiful NX300 here.... I have and still love it..however this dealership is just so LOW...LOW in everything!!Once the deal is done...yes they throw you under the bus... never get responses on questions and requests no matter what.The original advertising on my vehicle stated that had illuminated entrance logo but it didnt i could easily could have proceeded legally but I didnt, instead, i order the parts from Longo Lexus and my friend installed them for 100 dollars, as Naz and her manager were playing the fool just ignoring me.I took my car for services and everything was fine but the environment and staff there are so hostile....yikes!!!I took my car for a system upgrade... waited 3 hrs. It didnt work, refunded my $300, and no apologies or anything to compensate for the time wasted.Santa Monica Lexus, do not even wash your car anymore... (Thats Cheap!)I had a cracked windshield, and guess what? Quote here was over $2,000.00Ever since then....I take my car to THE BEST LEXUS DEALERSHIP IN THE WORLD: LONGO LEXUS!!!! Original parts and labor: $1,200.00Is it far away?? Yes, but its worth the driving!! LONGO LEXUS @ EL MONTE appreciates customers, reps treat you like queens and kings, once you get your car back, they contact customers via text, call, or email for a follow-up. Prices are waaay reasonable...Wow!!! Upon arrival of Santa Monica Lexus I was met with the usual uneasiness associated with a car dealership. The over eager looks from sales associates, the false impression of customer service masked by the company’s sudo classic decor. But I was willing to look past it all because I am close to the end of my lease and was looking to lease again. After a pleasant test drive with a salesman, it was time to sit down and talk numbers. My credit took a bit of a hit when I moved to California but I figured my history with Lexus never missing a payment would at least earned some respect. Nope.. after waiting for 2 hours for “an answer from the bank”, I finally told the salesman and his manager I needed to leave to get to work. They said ok and would contact me as soon as they heard back from the bank. Here it is 3 weeks later and I’ve heard nothing from anyone. At least they could have called and told me that the bank couldn’t do anything or maybe call and try to work something out with me. But I was left in the dark and never wanting to use Lexus as a vehicle again. I found the manager Ricki Pelegrini condescending, unfriendly and unhelpful. And it leaves me wondering if I was maybe a different skin tone, would I have been treated differently? I can almost guarantee that I would have. I now have contacted upper management and explained in detail how I was treated but will not be extending my lease with this company.

DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!Right off the bat we were lied to. I specifically asked if a vehicle was traded in or purchased at an auction (if vehicles are sent to auction they usually have issues) THE MANAGER said it was traded in. I checked the carfax and it came from the auction. They didn’t even apologize for lying and gave us a lame excuse.We let them know what time we’d be there & drove almost 2 hours. The car wasn’t even clean! It was NASTY(hair, dust, build up in between panels) It had all the previous owners personal info in the glove box.The second car we looked at had the previous owners license plate??? Oh and don’t forget the gas door FALLING OFF.I’ve worked in the car business for years now and am so embarrassed that people have experiences like these. This awful dealerships are why give all dealerships a bad reputation.

Run as fast as you can would rather take a bus than buy from a sales team of thieves.Lexus Follow Up on Rx450h 2018to whom it may concernI recently have been in the market for a Lexus and have been shopping at multiple locations to find the right one. What started off as an exciting endeavor quickly turned into one of the most regrettable decisions I have ever made.I found the ideal car in a Lexus Dealership in Santa Monica address as below:1501 Santa Monica BlvdSanta Monica, CA 90404United StatesThe problem began from the outset where I test drove the car didn’t have any hands on support from any one to help explain one feature. Nonetheless I liked the vehicle and pointed out a few issues that need addressed and they were quick to push back on any help even cleaning the car. The car didn’t even appear detailed or cleaned properly from the prior owner. I asked for a few remedies and they were all met with pushback they also only listed the door mold issue as one of the items to repair, but didn’t help address the crack in the windshield. I asked them how to have them fix before I buy and they said to buy the car and to take the car to service and Eddie would take care of me. After calling service multiple times I finally uncovered there were two Eddie’s that work there and one was on vacation. Upon taking my car to the service department the guy who started to review the car gave me a quote for 2500 for a crack in the windshield that was attempted to be repaired and didn’t work.Not only do I feel this dealership didn’t have customer experience a priority they had no regard for my purchase or experience the moment I walked out the door.The salesperson was Sephi and her manager was either Ruby or Rudy something with an R. They really treated this customer experience with little to no care whatsoever. As we speak I am sitting in a glass shop to get the damaged windshield fixed from the previous damage. When I spoke to the sales team about a remedy they said I bought a used car and shouldn’t expect cars to be in good shape upon purchase. Given this is my first Lexus and my prior Toyota was such an amazing experience I wanted to share this as I know brand loyalty is important but I must say the team at Santa Monica Lexus really pushed me from a strong promoter to a run as fast as you can type of customer. I would definitely never want to go back to this dealership if I can avoid it but unfortunately it’s been two weeks and no word on the rear door molding fix or windshield crack they promised to fix. I would hope Lexus is willing to stand by their product and brand and at least sell a car that is safe and reliable which in this case was not.

The worst customer service even from the customer service manager. After spending over $4,000 to fix my heater they tried to charge me another $2,000. When I refused they tried to make it $700, then $500, then $250. I just kept refusing.They talk over you, dont answer questions, tell you theyll call you back, they never call, over and over. When you get frustrated they act like youre out of your mind and the rest of them treat you the same way. They were like cliquey teenagers. I couldnt believe it.After bringing my car back repeatedly and being treated like crap by at least 4 of their staff members I finally found one guy, Neil who had some customer service skills but he could only do so much. Then he left with with another guy, Carlos who flipped out on me because after listening to him rant on for 10 minutes about every detail of work they did to my car and telling me over and over You cant appreciate all thats been done on your car,. I finally calmly said,. I cant hear you tell me over and over that I cant appreciate whats be- and he jumped up and said, I didnt tell you you dont appreciate anything! Im not going to listen to you put words in my mouth!!! and he stormed off.I just wanted to talk to a mechanic, and asked him several times if I could please just speak to the mechanic. I was practically begging at one point. I swear that place with make you crazy.Im leaving this review because I looked and my review was no longer there and people have the right to know.After 2 years of dealing with that place my heater finally works enough,.. not great but I do have some heat coming out of it and the headache of dealing with those people just isnt worth the money. I pray I never have to go near that place again.

After a tiresome journey searching all over LA County for a car that checked all my boxes, I went to Lexus Santa Monica on a whim with a car I saw on their site the night before. My only experience with the dealership was that my brother purchased a vehicle from them a few years ago with Roxie. He constantly raved about how great they were but with how insane the market is right now, I didnt think Id be able to find my dream car aka relatively new hybrid vehicle that is fuel efficient but looks sporty and adventurous but doesnt show off too much.Naz was the first person to greet me and my family. She kindly directed us to the restroom (since we had been driving across the county in the rain) and waited to help us out. She immediately felt like family. She was warm and welcoming. I asked her about a car I had found online - a 2022 Lexus UX 250h F-Sport - that I wasnt even certain was on the lot because I was tired of calling, texting, and emailing salespeople. She admired my confidence and adventurous spirit. To my luck, it was there. She brought the car over and told us to try the car out. She didnt even sit in with us like a driving instructor, taking off all of the pressure. That let me enjoy the car for myself (great sales tactic probably lol). I felt like I bonded with the car - like Jake Sully and his flying dinosaur dragon creature of Pandora. I had driven all older, gas-eating SUVs prior to this one so it was a welcomed change.Upon returning, Naz did everything she could to help me get a deal that worked for me on the car. Sure, it was a used vehicle and because of that right now, many dealerships are [supposedly] fixed with their prices. I knew that was not the case though because I was at Lexus of Glendale a few days before and they did not budge on their asking price, but when I walked away, the price of the car dropped $1000 the next day. Whack! This is our best and lowest price my...If you want the exciting (yet stress-inducing experience) of negotiating and working with people that actually want to work with you, Santa Monica is the exhilarating place to be. The manager and the finance guy (Im sorry, I forgot his name) were also honest and chill. I mightve been difficult but I knew they were fair and they made me happy at the end of the day. They still stick to the roots of when people would negotiate on horse prices. Even the dealership buildings take you back to the earlier spirits of California. Great atmosphere. Naz was a lot of fun to meet and work with. She encouraged me, as Im just a young teacher trying to get by in life, but she also gave my brother advice on careers and cars. I had all the reason to be another person sick and tired of the car dealership game; however, when I grow up and can afford to give into more material goods, like a car, Ill definitely be back at Lexus Santa Monica. Maybe Ill get another Lexus from them or maybe Ill just go back to say hi to Naz and the other cool people there.At the end of the day, I got a car, and they got a sale, but I also got a newfound confidence that sometimes, you just have to have fun with life. Sure, it might cost money, it might feel stressful, but life is short enough already. Might as well chase after what you want and enjoy the ride (literally).

Worst, most insulting experience Ive ever had at a car dealer. Outside of the rude high pressure tactics, refusal to honor a price for 24 hours, and constant attempts at upselling, the salesmen said things like, You mean your husband? when I said I wanted to speak with my finance guy before moving forward. It was the 1940s in there, and despite being a 46 year old (read: not young) woman, I was treated poorly in every way possible. A closer guy was brought in because I wasnt ready to commit to a purchase 15K over my planned budget, and he was infantilizing and condescending to no end. I left and bought a Jaguar instead.

Great group of professionals at Lexus Santa Monica. Just bought our 2nd Lexus from our previous rep Enrigue Carvajal. Enrique made the transaction smooth and easy. Since we had to drive almost an hour to the dealer, Enrique had the car that we were interested in buying all ready for us to test drive. We arrived at the dealer and he handed us the keys and we are off to test drive. We ended up buying the newer model GX and just glad that they had one available. Lexus Santa Monica made the experience of buying my first car better than I could have expected! I had been looking online for a new (used) car for months and finally found a 2019 Honda CRV that had everything I wanted at the Lexus Santa Monica dealership. A friend from another Lexus dealership was kind enough to put my in touch with Roxie, who took incredible care of me from start to finish of the buying process. I arrived at the dealership to test drive the car, and knew it was the right fit for me the moment I took it out. Roxie, John, and Mark put my first-time-buyer nerves at ease. She is very knowledgeable, an absolute delight to deal with and clearly LOVES her job!!!! She made a process that can be very stressful go absolutely flawless. Ana went above and beyond our expectations! She literally went so far as to completely set up the Lexus app for the car, the touchscreen display, the remote connect/digital key and SO much more, and that was even after the sale was completed. Our last car purchase (with another company and MORE expensive) was basically….. Here is the manual figure it out yourself!! I wish I could give Ana 10 stars just for her!! Ana’s managers were very nice and helpful too and the final paperwork process was quick and easy. Lexus of Santa Monica is a great dealership which I highly recommend. Enrique Carvajal has helped me get into 2 Lexus vehicles. My first one was a 2019 Lexus ES 300h which I loved. Enrique was there to help me anytime I had a car emergency. Unfortunately after only 7 months, I found my car with a tree crashed onto it. It totaled the vehicle. In a state of panic I called Enrique asking if he could get me into another Lexus. He had always been so helpful and generous that I knew I wanted to work with him again. At first I couldn’t get into a car I wanted for the price I wanted but he kept working with me until I found the perfect car for an amazing price. I now have a beautiful black UX 250h. I know I can always count on Enrique with my car and I definitely advice going into Lexus and requesting his name.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!I purchased a vehicle from here three months ago, and I waited for three months without receiving my license plates, to the point where my temporary license had expired. I called them for nearly three weeks, and each time they either promised to check and get back to me, or they simply went silent. This was the attitude from both the sales team and the manager.Finally, unable to wait any longer, I visited their dealership to inquire about the status of my license plates. They said my plates were lost and then pulled out my purchase contract, stating that they had only used $15 from the money I paid to register the vehicle with the DMV. So, if I wanted to get my license plates and registration card, I needed to pay over $300 on the spot. They assured me that I would receive them the next day, but when did the DMV become so efficient? I expressed my confusion to the staff, as I believed that the over $30,000 I paid for the car should have included the registration fee, and there should be no need for an additional payment.After a while, they came back and said they found my license plates and registration card in their mailbox at the dealership. I checked the USPS tracking number on the envelope and discovered that these items had been delivered to the dealer two months ago, but they had deliberately withheld them from me, seemingly to make me pay extra in person.So, if you want to avoid a similar post-purchase experience, do not buy a car from here!!

You would think a Lexus car dealer wouldn’t be a shady as some mom and Pop car dealership. I was interested in a Lexus for sale and was closing in on a deal when they sent me a proposed deal with $1500 added on for what they called, catalytic converter protection. Then there was another separate fee that was labeled non-tax fees with no description. When I question these fees I was told that the anti-theft protection was already installed in the vehicle. Why was the price listed $1500 below if this was an option question clearly this was just a way to add $1500 onto the price, then when I questioned the $435 “non-taxable fees“ I was told that those were vehicle registration fees. I told the agent that I had already called the DMV with the license plate of the vehicle I intended to buy and that the tags were good until September 2024 and they were only be a $15 registration fee. He then came back and said that this is a “new buyer fee“. I just purchased another vehicle used 2 1/2 months ago and there was no “new buyer fee“ This is why people don’t trust car salesman and why you dread going to a car lot to try to buy a car don’t think because it’s Lexus dealer you’re going to get treated any different than any other money hungry car salesman. My sales person‘s name was Jimmy, but his sales manager signed off on all of this Just beware and know that they’re going to add a few thousand dollars onto the price of whatever vehicle you purchase

Unpleasant experience!I recently had an experience at Santa Monica Lexus that left me quite disappointed. The customer service was lacking, with staff seeming disinterested and unhelpful. It took an unusually long time for someone to attend to my needs, and even then, I felt rushed through the process.Moreover, the communication was subpar. I had to constantly follow up to get updates on the status of my vehicle, which added unnecessary stress to the situation. The overall atmosphere was not welcoming, and I didnt feel valued as a customer.In terms of pricing and transparency, I was taken aback by the hidden fees and charges that were added to my bill without proper explanation. It felt like an attempt to squeeze more money out of me.While the dealership boasts a wide range of luxury vehicles, my negative experience with the service aspect has definitely made me reconsider whether I would return for future purchases or maintenance. I hope that Santa Monica Lexus takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the customer experience.

We did the majority of the transaction over the phone as we live in San Diego. Our saleperson, Mayer, was responsive, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He identified an incoming vehicle that would meet our needs, and we worked out the price over the phone. His manager, Paul, was also responsive to a couple of special requests. Our 2023 Lexus RX 350h arrived in about a week. Their showroom is lovely. On pick-up day, we test drove our new car and then met with Julie to work out the finance details. After everything was done, Mayer gave us an excellent orientation for our new car. We believe we got a fair price with no hassle, and are very happy. We LOVE our new car too!! I would recommend this dealership, and the team of Mayer, Paul and Julie if you are looking for a Lexus!

My experience was absolutely great from start to finish! Hossein (Sales Associate) was incredibly kind, asked all of the right questions and paid attention to every feature I wanted. When I came out to get my vehicle, Hos had it waiting with a bow on top! So super sweet of him! Joshua (Technology Specialist) showed me how to operate the many features, connected my phone and garage door opener, and graciously answered any questions I had. Lyndon (Finance Manager) was able to get my finance documents done quickly and provided exceptional service. Updating our recent experience at Lexus Santa Monica. We went in as return customers to lease another RX350 and have to say the entire feeling in that place has changed for the worse. My previous review from 2017 below gave them a 5-star review.This time around, however, we were dealing with Robert, who was an irritating salesman, who didnt listen and just couldnt get their price any lower, which we knew was complete bs. I gave them my quote from my bank and they said that they would arrange it. Three weeks later I got a bill from Lexus Financial for the higher amount and now I have to undo it. I’m in my late 80s and I think they thought they could take advantage of me.

Lexus listed a car for sale. It was a 2008 BMW 528i for $8560. I am attaching the photo.. I spoke to the salesman who checked with the manager for availability. I told them that we were coming down immediately and they agreed to hold the car for us. One hour later while we were just around the corner we got a call that they would not sell us the car at the price and that it should be listed for $10,900. TLDR: They sold a used 2021 vehicle to me that needs a transmission replacement. Buyer beware.Purchased a 2021 jeep wrangler with 15k miles. Although the salesman was pleasant to deal with it seems the vehicle has some issues.When I first got there the jeep would not start due to a dead battery (odd but it can happen to any car that sits) . After that I realized the spare tire was completely loose and about to fall off(I could tighten the lugs by hand) this was due to a thorough cleaning process. For some reason I continued with the purchase, writing the two issues off as odd but not concerning.Once I bought the vehicle and brought it home I realized the transmission has issues as well. It hard shifts for the first couple minutes which I didnt realize at the time. When I brought up this issue I was told to bring it to the dealer and havent heard back from them. Very disappointing, I would suggest looking elsewhere. I hope they didnt know the issues with the vehicle but now I am out a vehicle while I take it to the dealer...Update... The vehicle is not drivable and I am awaiting parts/installation at the dealership. I have had it almost 2 weeks and not been able to drive it.Update 6/22: transmission on the vehicle needs to be replaced.

After I sold my car, there was issue with warranty refund. Bought a car here and was told I had to buy a Karr alarm system because it was pre-installed. I got a call 4 months later from Karr telling me that I need to install the system and activate it. I called Santa Monica of Lexus and they said there is nothing we can do. I called Karr and they said that Santa Monica was responsible. I had to follow up constantly and after 1 month was told by the dealership that to resolve this whole issue, I can just install the alarm instead of making it a thing. This alarm system is about $1K for 3 years. The next SUV I buy within a year to replace my beat-up 230K+ mile Corolla is going to be +$50k. Nothing more needs to be said about that.Sales person: BrandonFinance Manager: Julie DishnerBoth said it was not possible to remove the alarm system from the deal and it comes with the car. After asking multiple times to have that removed they said they couldnt. Not going to have 1k make or break the suv I wanted, but this definitely will break my relationship with the Lexus brand. I paid 60% of the car off with cash, so I am not sure why they decided to lose multiple sales from me over 1k...Edit: it took about 2 months until I called Keith Haring from Service to have issues fixed under warranty at 5k miles. Sales stated that I was refunded. I didnt receive anything in my accounts and was told the refund would actually go to the Credit Union since they are the lien holder. Lol. I received a next day early air check for the refund addressed to me.Summary: An unecessary, prolonged stressful situation that was ultimately resolved in the expected way.

The finance manager is either never there and when you call, he never answers and they say to leave a message and he never gets back to you. I had to cancel a warranty before with Acura of Thousand Oaks and they literally dealt with it the first time I called and I had my refund in the same week. No kidding, Ive called this dealership 50+ times over the span of a month trying to reach the finance manager. This is $3k that Lexus of Santa Monica is holding from me. Do not buy a car from here.

May 11, 2011 I bought one car & traded in another at Lexus of Santa Monica. They was very unorganized & shady the entire day I spent there. I didn’t write a review because I didn’t want to waste anymore time on the experience. Until now, 11 months later when I’m receiving a letter from a law firm stating I owe $7,766.50 in a claim against me on the car I traded in. For an accident I wasn’t in, with a car I long since traded in. After researching I’ve discovered Lexus never completed the Trade-in side. The insurance company trying to collect the $7K+ from me let me know Lexus of Santa Monica never properly transferred the registration. I’m not surprised because they were quite a mess with trying to complete the paperwork in a rush so I wouldn’t leave and come back the next day. It was more important to get me locked in and committed to a sale than to properly move through the required steps for a smooth transaction. Among other things, the day of purchase, I experienced.- Sales person misleading me to buy a different vehicle than the one I wanted. When I asked a different sales person, they contradicted the miss information my sales person told me to steer me away from the car I wanted.-Refusal to let us come back the next day to finish up after “about an hour before we finish” went on and on to over 7 hours.-Unorganized final paperwork signing, complete with broken printer & running out of Lexus folders. I was sent off with my copies in a Ship For Less envelope.-Months later bringing my car in for routine maintenance, finding out the extra coverage I was told I would be paying for was never set up and did not show up on my vehicle.These are just a few things. Now, having to provide proof I traded in my old car in so I’m not responsible for the new drivers uninsured accidents, that was the tipping point. To actually leave the review to let other customers of this location know KEEP ALL YOUR PAPERWORK SAFE. Luckily I kept copies of everything and was able to prove Lexus of Santa Monica did take my old car as a trade-in, and that they just never completed the steps to update the registration. It sure would be nice if they do at some point complete the process so I don’t receive any future notice of claims for accidents I’m not involved.

Avoid this dealership especially when you have a vehicle to trade-in. They will not pay off your trade-in’s pay-off/outstanding balance. I currently have an ongoing lawsuit with them to be processed. Take note that state of California - you can sue the dealership if they fail to do payoff of your traded vehicle after 21 days of getting your new vehicle. Whenever I asked for an update via email, their Finance Manager Mark Sanchez does not return emails at all but so quick to email you when they need something from you, especially a financial means. They dont care about customers, they certainly do not care about customer experience, and seemingly, they dont care about the Lexus brand reputation.My wife and I recently purchased a car through this dealership entirely remotely. There were problems at every single step along the way. Its a miracle we received our car. Their sales and finance teams are woefully disorganized and have a complete and utter lack of attention to detail. How they manage to actually sell cars is beyond me. This dealership is one that will quickly disappear once manufacturers start direct-to-consumer sales. It seems they are doing everything in their power to collect enormous dealer markups while they still can!Quick summary of issues:1. Several times our sales contact Ryan and finance manager Georgio disappeared on us for hours/days at a time. At one point we were not able to get a hold of them for many hours, leading us to believe they had sold the car out from under us. It took hours to get a call back from their sales manager to explain that *surprise* Georgio and Ryan were out of the office. A simple note explaining this would have solved a lot of problems.2. Lack of details, especially by Georgio. He filled out our credit application completely incorrectly and failed to take responsibility for the mistakes. He told us I just copied in the information I was given. The form had entirely wrong information on it - it is very clear that in a haste he copy/pasted into it with another customers information. He had the wrong contact info, job descriptions, salary, housing status, and more.3. Their wiring instructions are 10+ years old. They include a name to contact in the case of any inquiries - the named individual has not worked at the dealership since 2012, and nobody currently working at the dealership knows who this person is. This doesnt exactly lend to building confidence on a wire transaction worth tens of thousands of dollars.4. On the topic of wiring - this dealership has no way to print a receipt to confirm that the wire was actually received. What we eventually got after days of asking was a cell phone photograph of their wire log. This is completely unacceptable. Getting a receipt for a multi-thousand-dollar transaction is not an outlandish request.5. Again with lack of details - we were forced to purchase a Karr alarm system (that we didnt want) as it was dealer installed and we werent given the option to have it removed. Fair enough, however, when they setup the subscription, they billed us for a 5-year plan, and set us up with a 3-year plan. It took us multiple days and attempts to contact Georgio and Ryan to resolve this issue. Maybe their hope was that we wouldnt notice, and they could pocket the difference.I could go on and on but its very clear that this sales and finance team simply do not care about their customers. I lost count of the number of times we were told were busy with back-to-back customers when trying to get a hold of them. Newsflash, just because we are remote buyers does not mean we have lower priority from your in-person customers. We ended up spending hours chasing their people to ensure they were, quite simply, doing their jobs.We contacted the General Manager, Matt Unger, directly 2-weeks to open a dialog on these issues and we never heard back, leading me to believe that this lack of customer focus comes directly from the top.Avoid this dealership, especially if you are a remote buyer.

This dealership was great! This was our first time buying a car. We were shopping around, visiting different dealerships, and were really exhausted with the whole process. Every place we went to the employees were either dodging our questions or didnt know any answers or details, in either case it was like pulling teeth. We stumbled into Lexus Santa Monica and Enrique by chance, and boy were we lucky. Right away Enrique was friendly, down to earth, not to pushy, and most importantly clearly very very knowledgable about cars. He answered all of our questions about the specific model, as well as general questions, without being forceful or having an ulterior motive.Enrique was understanding when we said we needed some time to think things over, and was prompt to reply when we got in touch. He was very easy to talk to and deal with -- he was committed to his job, but also to making it an easy and pleasant experience for us.We ended up buying our first ever car from Enrique and couldnt be happy -- we will definitely continue to stay in touch and do business with him.I will also mention that everyone else there was extremely nice and courteous in a very down to earth way, which is not true for most luxury dealership and was a real comfort to me. Ivan in particular was another employee we interacted with and a really great guy!

We had a wonderful car shopping experience at this particular Lexus Santa Monica. We arrived a little after 6:30 p.m.; we were greeted right away at the front and directed to a sales associate. He was extremely kind and humorous and helped me to find the most suitable Lexus. He showed me every car I asked to see and even showed me a few more options. We had a deal signed and we were out the door within an hour and a half to two hours of coming in. They stayed late for us and we honestly left so happy. Our salesman was fun to talk with and very knowledgeable. I am a first time Lexus customer and after visiting other dealerships and owning other vehicle brands, I highly recommend coming to this dealership. Thank you!

Our experience at Santa Monica Lexus was fabulous. It was the easiest and fastest car buying experience to date. Our sales rep, Omar Salgado, was very attentive to our needs and I felt he really understood what we were looking for and what concerns we had. We felt really comfortable with the deal we got. Overall, the service was very good. Chris was my service rep and he was great. Very nice and friendly. I really appreciate that he did not try to upsell me on a bunch of non-urgent services. It was a pretty quick process to drop off my car and get a loaner. And also very quick when i came back later in the afternoon to pick up my car. And they honor competitor coupons. I found a 20% coupon online for another Lexus dealership and had no problems using it at Lexus Santa Monica. The only reason Im taking one star off is because when I arrived, the price they quoted me for the 30,000 mile service was $715 plus tax. This was $60 more than what was quoted online when I initially made the appt. I showed Chris the price on the website, and genuinely seemed surprised. He fixed the pricing right away, but it just seems weird that the prices online dont match the prices quoted in the service center. So the takeaways...I highly recommend Lexus Santa Monica for servicing - just make sure you double check the prices.

Disappointed experience !!!!!As a consumer, I purchased my car on August 14 and did not get my car registration.We contacted the salesperson over ten times, and they did not fix my car registration. On Nov 23, 2022, the salesman just told us because the DMV guy did not finish the paperwork before Nov 14, 2022, it is expired! So he would return the registration fee and let us register the car!I paid my car registration fee when I bought my car!They took over THREE MONTHS for doing NOTHINGJUST SAID: Return the money, you go to the DMV by yourself !!!!!!!!What an irresponsible store and salesman !

My service experience was excellent - from booking the service appointment online for a convenient time in my busy schedule to working with the service advisor Patrick Levenson and having my car serviced. I was well taken care of while I was waiting for my car and especially appreciated the use of an office space to conduct my business calls and use of the desk/desk chair. My experience at Lexus of Santa Monica was excellent to say the least. First, the salesmen David S. was very welcoming as i stepped onto the lot, along with Paul the sales manager. They were happy to let me be in the driver seat of making my purchase. Joshua V, was also excellent. He was very knowledgable on the vehicles that i was looking at, and he played a big role on the purchase that i made. By explaining the main differences in the different year models, it helped me make a better informed decision. Dont bother coming here for your car. Youre better off.going to Glendale or Beverly Hills.They will literally steal your money. Came in to turn in my old car and they told me not to worry that my monthly lease payment was processing two days before the payment was due, theyd get me the money back no problem. Well...over six months later I am still waiting and they told me it isnt their problem. That they dont prorate lease payments...if I didnt have auto pay and paid two days later when the bill was due and my monthly lease payment cycle started, I wouldnt have an issue! Buyer beware. They will tell you whatever to get your first payments and then abandon you. Crooks.Not to mention, they didnt pay registration so I was driving around with a car that wasnt registered to me for 4 months and couldnt get my plates. They didnt take me off of the old lease and I got bill tolls I had to dispute months after I turned in my old car. Incompetence.

Im updating from an awesome review I posted a few years back. Now in 2021, terrible service! I intended to drop my car off for service then go ask questions about a hybrid. Not only did no one greet me when I drove up, when I went inside and asked for help, the service advisor, without looking up, told me that someone outside would help me. I went back outside and the helper was coming back from a different area of the lot. I told him what service my car needed and he politely told me that hed have to get a service advisor to help - one of the same people who told me to go outside. So I waited 5 minutes and no one came out to help. I found the helper and asked if he would get the service advisor again. He went inside then came back out a few moments later and said that the service advisor would be with me momentarily. Another 10 minutes went by and a service advisor finally came out but not to help me. He told me to just wait by my car and someone would be out shortly. I told him that I had already been waiting 15 minutes. So he went back in to get someone then came back out and told me that he relayed the message that I needed help. Another five minutes went by and still no one came out. Im done with Lexus Santa Monica. They lost a patient customer who wouldve more than likely bought another car from them.

Ive visited the Service Center at Lexus Santa Monica and Freddy Hall was such a great help! I was greeted and welcomed when I first arrived. He addressed all my questions and made sure I understood the maintenance that was being done on my car. He also called me when my car was ready to go (same day as promised) and when I came to pick it up, he also made sure I had no issues with the car. Its people like Freddy that have great customer service skills that not only made my experience seem more personal, but made me feel like I was cared about as a customer. The worst car experience you will ever have. Just look at all the other reviews for Lexus of Santa Monica and the Service Center. These people have the worst service, give the worst lease experience, and will cost you more time and money than the car is worth.I have been stranded because of a dead battery that was serviced days before. I have driven off multiple times from the service center with the same problem I went in for -- only to have to use my own mechanic. I have been lied to by the sales department. I have received the worst customer service I can imagine a business providing. These people are terrible.My cars breaks still squeak after telling them about it over a year ago. My blind side recognition still doesnt work after telling them about it 6-months ago. There is still a humming/clicking in the engine that no one cares about no matter how many times I tell them. I have been paying for service the past year after I was promised free service for the duration of the lease.And there are dozens and dozens of other problems but I dont have the space here.And finally, after 4 years paying over $1,100/month on the lease-to-buy, they want $43k to buy it off. I told them that was ridiculous, got a lawyer to negotiate for me, and they repossessed my car. Now I am going to have to sue them. If I went through half of what I have gone through with them I would be very angry. Do not give these people your money.

I was looking for a car for a week in different dealer, Infinity they run my credit and they gave me a deal but it was to high and down a lot more. Then I when to Mercedes this people her had me waiting for three days so they can say at the end that they needed a cosigner I did bring the cosigner with really good credit and they where asking for too many papers took everything so at the end they said no. So I when to this dealer Lexus the sale representatives Enrique was really nice friendly, and with a fast service in less than an hour he approve me with a new car RX 350 something that I wanted. I had a very pleasant experience this time around at Lexus Service of Santa Monica. My first experience was not so great, as I had to wait 3 hours and they lost my keys during the process. It was a mess...Not surprisingly, they never sent me any kind of survey or review about their services for that day.Most recently, I went back for my second scheduled maintenance, and on this day Angel Vasquez greeted me with a friendly and professional attitude. He was able to get my service done, tire pressure checked, and car washed in about an hour. I was definitely impressed! Very efficient and helpful customer service. Ray James, my advisor, was very kind to me as it was my first visit to the service center. I got an oil change and they even vacuumed and washed my car. They also communicate efficiently via text and email so you know about all the maintenance you need with your car. The best part was that Ray was not that pushy salesman when it came to the other services, but just offered to dive into more detail if I had any questions. Looking at the report there are still a couple of things i need to do to upkeep my car, so I am definitely going back!

This place is a huge scam. I leased a NX300h and they gave a ridiculous price first like I had no idea of what the market should be. Then they lowered the price 30%. They also provided lease protection, which was also a scam. It only worked for return option. So if you wanna buy out the car at the end of the lease, they don’t cover anything damage/excess wear like promised, but they didn’t tell you that upfront. What’s worse for buying out, there is a SAFETY charge of $2000 on top of the remaining balance and document fee, which doesn’t really provide any necessary services, it’s just a pure rip-off! In a word, I wouldn’t recommend this dealership unless you don’t care the price at all.

Just getting around to put in on here.Went in a few years back to inquire information about a few new models for a family member who let me be in charge of getting the info from a few brands and models so they can decide which one to purchase.Went in and spent maybe 10 minutes at most there before leaving. The reason I left was because NONE of the employees ever acknowledged me or even asked if I needed anything. They just stood around (with disgusted looks), sat around just chatting with each other, or walked away when I was going to ask them questions. I’ve been going to Tim Nelson at Lexus Santa Monica since I bought my 2009 Rx hybrid. I can always rely on him to quickly respond to my calls, get my car in fast and do the necessary work on it, no less and no more. He’s honest, warm and efficient at his job. They always give a loaner free of charge and the ladies at the cashier get you right out, a well-oiled machine. I have over 140k miles on my car and never had any major issues. We just bought a new Lexus RX 350. Sally was super nice and very helpful. We really appreciate her attitude and willingness to make our choice. Then she called the person by the name June to negotiate the price. He is ignorant from the very moment he appeared, he raised his voice and talked over us. He showed the printout with his profit of $2 on selling the car. He sad that the car was fixed b/s it was in a minor accident and had a small scratch in the bumper. But when we signed the papers we found out that it was fixed for $17000(while we were buying it for $38000 ). We asked him to clarify what exactly was broken and fixed, he refused. And I want to underline again - Junes unexpectable behavior with customer in such reputable dealership as Lexus of Santa Monica. If it wouldnt be Sally we would leave without buying the car. Such manager as June disgraces this dealership.

Lexus service associates are so friendly. They make it simple to schedule service and go out of their way to work with your schedule. Traffic was an issue en route, but one call was all it took to change my appointment 30 minutes. Nice. I was greeted with a smile curbside and the service writer Carlos Pelayo was super quick, professional and respectful of my time. The paperwork was a breeze and while waiting for my great hybrid loaner car I was able to enjoy a wonderful latte and a yummy freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. My car was serviced within the estimated timeframe and delivered pronto when I returned. Plus, it had been washed and looked nearly new! Thank god I got transferred to Enrique Carvajal. The most kind, down to earth, sharp representative Ive ever deal with in the past. I spent maybe 45 minutes in the dealership and was on my way... and it took 45min because we were waiting on my insurance guy. If i had come in with my insurance info I would have been out the door within 15 minutes. The staff did an exceptional job detailing the car and making you feel good. I leased a 2017 RX 350 from Lexus of Santa Monica on November 17, 2017 for a 4 year term. Around the end of the year, there are always advertisements for this same car for a monthly cost in the 3 hundreds, so imagine my surprise when they returned with a $997 monthly lease amount. I asked why my lease amount was so high and thought I perhaps didn’t qualify for a more competitive rate. The finance manager told me that it was on the $57K car price and was a perfectly reasonable number based on the math on 48 months. I still found it curious and even had a lawyer review the contract for hidden traps, but I was asking the wrong question. The contract was standard, though I felt the car was way too expensive but I needed to transition to an SUV and this car was an easy way to do it from a car. I paid about $2600 and was rushed so much to take the car that day that they wouldn’t allow me to drop off my existing car and Uber back, though I lived close. I felt in my gut that I’d gotten a horrible deal because it was just one of those purchases you don’t feel good about. The people I dealt with were generally nice, but how nice could they be if they could exploit me in this manner and be so predatory. I didn’t know how bad my ‘deal’ was until I called a lease trader company recently. They were convinced my monthly payment was so high because I rolled in another loan and advised me that NO ONE would pay $997 for that car given the cost of the vehicle and said I’d have to supplement the deal by paying a credit to the lessor $8 or $9000 so they could pay the more reasonable rate of $3-500 per month! I feel stupid, taken advantage of and stuck…stuck driving a car I’m over driving because I’m in a loan that’s predatory. I’ve never felt this bad about a car purchase/lease. Buyer beware.

Except that they never processed it and I did not get my title. Two months later I called to talk to 3 different people and after a week finally was told that Julie in the finance office never processed it. No apologies, no remorse etc - they also try to blame the DMV when things are late but you need to actually send the paperwork to the dmv to begin with. Done with this dealership.

This is a nice looking dealer ship, but unfortunately I bought a car really excited about my purchase but once I got home (which we all do) i took a closer look at my car admiring it, and I noticed a cracked on my bumper (it needs to be replaced) and I contacted a the sales guy who sold me the car name Houman and he assumed I did these damages after telling me he handed me the car in tac. But the reports say no damage on the car. Pictures on website do a really good job in hiding the damages. The dealer hasnt called me back or updated me. I didnt even get the chance to ask about any other possible cars available. Its understandable that time is precious, but what a horrible way to deal with people. Definitely would not recommend going here for a car nor will I.

Im in the perfect car for me. From start to finish the process was easy for me and my wife. Jasmine Lamtouggui is a great sales person. She gave me space and at the same time was right there to answer all of my questions. After we decided on the car we closed the sale with Val Arvatz who was a great compliment to Jasmine. Forthright and very helpful with the additional decisions we had to make with warranties and such. Usually I will never fill these out, but in this case I had to because their service was exceptional.

Never thought I’d be writing a 2 star review for this dealership or any Lexus dealer for that matter. Here is how things unfolded at Santa Monica Lexus with my leased car …I was told by Julie, a finance manager at Santa Monica Lexus via a phone call that I would need to come in to the dealership to finalize the buyout of my leased car. She gave me a list of all the documents that I would need to bring along, and also stated she would show me the terms of an extended warranty that I had expressed interest in.A few days later at our face to face meeting in her office, she started to give me a pretty hard pitch on the warranty. She warned that just one little gauge malfunction in the instrument panel would mean the whole panel would have to be replaced at a cost of many thousands of dollars, and that the radio alone could cost as much as $4500. (She was not aware that I had already replaced the radio with a much better one for about $350) After she quoted me the price, I told her I was not very interested as it was too expensive. I reminded her that I had only put 10k miles on the car in 3 years and still had a year to go on the factory warranty.I suggest next that we get down to business and finalize the purchase of the car. She then stated, to my surprise, that the only way we could go forward with the purchase of the car is if I buy the warranty. And to further my distress, she stated that I would need to once again call an automated 800 number to settle the lease. She knew that I had been having problems with this 800 number. Indeed, my difficulties with this 800 number were the main topic of our earlier phone conversation and the primary reason for our in person meeting. It seemed that I was somehow being punished for not buying the warranty.Finally I did manage to reach Lexus finance directly via that 800 number. They stated that the dealer has no financial incentive to do this kind of paperwork but will normally do it as a courtesy to their customers. They also asked me an odd question “how long were you sitting in Julie’s office?” It occurred to me later that they were trying to gauge the audacity of Julie’s conduct.

We are writing this review to let other people know our good experience in buying a car from Enrique Carvajal in Santa Monica at the Lexus dealership. We live in northern California by Sacramento and flew to Santa Monica to purchase and see a Lexus car we saw in the internet. The car was a 2015 certified pre-own Lexus. There were no appointments made but were greeted by Enrique Carvajal who help us. We asked about the car and he showed it to us, took us for a test drive and explained many of the features of the car, he was patient and wanted to us to be sure we got exactly the vehicle we were looking for and that was reliability, safety, comfort and gas mileage. We also compared this car with others he had in the lot and advised us of the features of this car versus the other ones based on what we were looking.The purchase took approximately two hours. In the finance are Lyndon help us to proceed with a smooth sale. This dealership provided excellent customer service and was honest. Now days this is hard to find one that cares for the customer and as far as the deal there were no games played back and forth. We did not have to do deal with any of these issues and enjoy purchasing the car.Enrique provided excellent service. He made the purchase a pleasant one and was extremely nice to all of us. Besides being knowledgeable about the car and its features he made sure the car was deliver the car to Northern California in top shape. I can only say he offer exceptional customer service and is an honest person. He and the dealership provided a very courteous experience. I will highly recommend them both. Thank you to Will at pre-owned sales. They accidentally forgot to smog my car before signing over the title and when I informed them, they apologized and fixed the problem quickly, even express mailing me the title and registration. Wow, what an experience.First off, the Santa Monica Lexus dealership is drop dead gorgeous. I was really impressed with the level of class displayed in the architecture and upkeep of the grounds. From the moment you step on the premises, to the minute you drive away in your new Lexus, you are treated with the utmost respect and class by all the employees. Quality customer service is stressed here, and it shows.I was fortunate enough to work with the knowledgeable and affable Neal Greene. If youre considering a Lexus, I highly recommend him. Neal is easy to talk to, respectful, and understanding. He also gave me a screaming deal on a brand new IS 250 F-Sport, which I am obsessed with. Neal capably answered all my questions and then some, while refraining from seeming overbearing and smothering. My girlfriend is considering buying a new car as well, and I will definitely be pointing her his way.Rounding off my experience at Santa Monica Lexus was about 40 minutes spent with the resident tech expert, Angela Durand. Again, this is where their dedication to outstanding customer service really showed. Angela spent almost 40 minutes with me in my new car, showing patience and taking the time to answer every single question I had concerning the technical capabilities of my new Lexus. Even when I happily told her all my questions had been addressed, she took more time to explain a few other features which I had overlooked, thereby saving me the time necessary to call back for clarification later. Angela was very sweet, and never seemed rushed or in a hurry to get off work, despite the fact that it was late at night and the dealership had closed.Frankly, my time spent at the Santa Monica Lexus dealership blew away the competition. I have never left a dealership feeling more secure and happy with my purchase. Incredibly, the level of attention and comfort has continued in the time since I purchased my Lexus; I have received a personal email from Angela and even a phone call from Neal simply making sure that all my questions have been answered, and that I am totally satisfied with their product. Enrique helped get me into my new lease. I am a first-time Lexus customer and he walked me through the different models in my price range. He took his time and made sure I really understood each of the cars, the pluses and the minuses. He knows ALOT about all the Lexus models. We settled on 2 dif possibilities and test drove both. He taught me about each of the cars while driving--without any sales pressure. We looked at the math on each of the cars, I told him what I wanted to pay and he made it all happen. He worked hard to get me into the car Id chosen and as an added bonus, they had the exact car I wanted in stock (I mean exact car). He is a friendly, approachable person and is highly service-minded. Its 24 hours later and he called me back on a Sunday night to answer a simple question for me. He is easily the best and I will definitely work with him again. Neal Greene helped me find the exact NX 300 F Sport model I wanted, and he helped to facilitate negotiations so I leased the car for the price I wanted and on my terms. He was very accommodating and patient, letting me see different versions of the same car. When it came to the final stretch, he went to get my car from the furthest garage without hesitation despite my looking at another model. All in all, a pleasant and satisfying experience, and Id come back to Neal again if it means hell be willing to work with me and can accommodate that way again, because Ill always come back here if thats the case. First, I really like my new leased car. The ambience of the dealership (no going out into the hot sun to sit in a baked car), and general layout of the place (great coffee machine, too), was striking -- especially when compared to the other dealership I had just gone to on the assumption that I would buy a car there. After an hour or so at the Mercedes dealership, I had test-driven and pretty much settled on a vehicle, but we decided to check out nearby Lexus because I was not completely sold on the interior display of the car I had chosen. As soon as I walked in to the Lexus dealership, I was greeted by a salesperson and saw a car that appealed to me (and looked, on the outside, pretty much like the chosen car at the other dealership/brand). I sat inside (no baking sun, we were indoors) and as soon as I saw its fabulous interior display... I knew this was the car for me.I liked how fast the whole process was -- it was efficient, and I felt that my time was not wasted in any way. The salesperson, Walter Martinez, really could not have been better... he was helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and a pleasure to interact with. I also was impressed and delighted with Miguel Soriano, the financial service manager who handled all the forms for the lease. My niece, Lindsey Cano, was with me to advise me and they treated us both with respect, answering all our questions. Lindsey and I both enjoyed the whole experience.I will likely be a Lexus driver from now on. Once I find a brand and dealership I like, Im a repeat customer. Im amazed that Mercedes -- long held in high esteem by me -- lost me, mainly because of the chintzy-looking interior display of the vehicle I had almost chosen.

I worked with Kelly Gugerty and she was amazing! I just leased a 2016 IS 200t and Kelly was very straightforward and helpful. We told her what we wanted and that we didnt want to get stuck there for the entire afternoon.
