First time attendees and we really enjoyed this venue. There are two theaters. The one we were in seated about 800 people, so there probably isnt a bad view in the house. We were in the middle but towards the back, but we could clearly see the entertainment. Parking is convenient but it did take quite awhile to get out of the garage.

Great place to see the performing arts. Everyone put on a great performance tonight.On a side note:Please remember this is not a Movie theater. Please bring age appropriate children because they will be scared of the loud special effects. Lastly please just follow the rules and put your phones away. It ruins the experience when the staff has to shoosh your kids. Limited wheelchair seating if you can not transfer, the accessible seats are only if you can transfer out of your wheelchair.

This is a very nice facility. The staff working were all very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend this for award ceremonies and performances. They had two theaters. One held fewer people, but the stage is still great.

I saw the California Symphony perform Brahms Obsessions here and its a very nice venue, very clean and elegant inside. There is a parking garage very close by but its probably going to be crowded unless you arrive early. Parking spots are small so trucks will struggle. And theres quite a traffic jam when all the cars leave at once at the end of the event so beware.

This is a great venue, fairly easy parking and eats nearby. Ive only been to the Hoffman Theater portion, but its a great alternative to going to SF for a show. Not a bad seat in the house!

Just saw Motown Mania. It was extremely entertaining. The band, singing and dancing were incredible. There isnt a bad seat in the house. The one downside was parking in the complex can be soldout. Arrive early to get parking.

The Lesher center is beautiful, we were there on a full moon and we arrived early to sip on wine and gaze out the huge windows at the moon and activity down on locust. Mystic Pizza was great, very well cast, awesome music, dancing in my seat! Great night!

The price of $10 per person was well worth the price of admission. Parking in the garage attached to Lesher Center of the Arts was free the first hour. Went specially to see the collection of art made to commemorate the 350 year old oak tree that came down during the 2019 storm. Absolutely beautiful, creative and one of a kind creations. Many were for sale.

My friends & family just enjoyed a wonderful evening at this beautiful theatre, seeing A Christmas Carol.When it turned out that we needed one more ticket for an additional person in our group, their Ticket Office team (I didnt catch her name!) was very patient and kind, quickly helping us find tickets for our added guest.Outstanding performance, immaculate theatre, wonderful, helpful staff! What a memorable evening we will all have to cherish!

It was a great venue, except finding parking. Really only option is the garage, so go early if you want a spot. Spots are also really tight, leave your truck at home.

Saw The Nutcracker by Contra Costa Ballet. They did a lovely job. They kept it just a bit simpler than some productions, with fewer adult dancers. But, there were a whole lot of wonderful child dancers in the program who all did excellent performances. They included many of the dream lands with terrific costumes. There were bunches of kids in the audience, many under 5, and the program kept the attention of the kids people had brought.As always, Lesher Center provided a clean, well appointed venue.

Prior to the show a male staff with dark long hair rudely spoke to my son, who was walking alongside a red rope, telling him to leave the area. Other attendees noticed his sharp and raised tone and I was speechless thinking something important was going to happen so we moved from that area. No, he was just redirecting his own emotions to a child, remarkedly immature for an adult. During the show a group appeared drunk and talked loudly. The environment became tense as several people reputedly shushed and told them to be quiet. Hope they do a better job at screening staff, Lescher Center has lost its luster.

Caught an incredible bubble show by The Amazing Bubble Man - a globetrotting bubble artist, storyteller, and comedian. The room was full of adults and children….all of us in a trance by the visual performance and witty storytelling.The venue was cozy but also quiet spacious. Fantastic experience. Will be returning for sure!

Its hard to review this place since it offers something new every week. Its a beautiful piece of architecture. I came here to see a comedy show, the comedy was fun but I was pretty underwhelmed by the small room we were put in and the seating was real mid. Staff were excellent, friendly and more tolerant than I deserved lol.

Great community theater with a typical theater seating arrangment and a small balcony seating area. There is a neat art gallery downstairs which costs 5 dollars to explore. The alcohol served during showtimes is on the pricey side but reasonable when compared to community prices in general.

Very nice place to see just about anything. Big enough but yet small for those intimate performances. We had the middle both above, good view though I felt they might of squeezed one too many seats up there. As long as you dont have a tall individual or someone who hangs over the balcony which makes it very hard to see the stage. Other than that I would come again.

Wonderful experience here at Lesher. I came to see the all strings orchestra. Such a beautiful performance in such a beautiful concert hall. Acoustics were perfect. Every employee I interacted with there was so sweet and kind. I will definitely be coming here for more performances.

I really loved my experience here. My family and I came to see the Dare to Dream dance performance and it was very enjoyable. The dancers danced so beautifully and we could tell they worked hard. This building is so gorgeous and well definitely be coming back for another performance.

I bought tickets on Friday evening February 10th at 7:30 pm -9:30 pm for the Swan Lake ballet. Went with my mum and was truly impressed by the incredible performance. Really enjoyed the ballet and Theatre is modern and cozy. Highly recommend ❤️🌞⭐️

Magic by Alex Ramon. Must see this weekend only. Happy place for kids and animal lovers. Great entertaining magic show. This is his annual December weekend show. Otherwise you have to find him in Lake Tahoe at Harveys. Stage was intimate. No bad seats. Small but comfortable. Good amenities.

$260 for two tickets to Lyle Lovett, and the sound person did not get it right. Neither my woman friend nor I could understand halfthe words to his songs, although we both have excellent hearing. Frustrating. We have never had that issue at Yoshis, Freight and Salvage, etc. Otherwise a nice place.

I generally like going to the Lesher Center for the Arts since it is convenient to parking, dining and the freeway. But, they have relaxed their masking mandate and have come a super-spreader site for COVID-19 this fall. I can speak from experience and have also witnessed others become infected after attending a play. Even though I mask, Im in the minority there.

Lesher Center provided a very pleasant and enjoyable evening. The building is very nice and parking is very convenient. Clean venue, courteous employees, very laid back.I deducted 1 star because the setup to purchase refreshments before the show wasnt done well. Two stations and the lines were 30 people deep each. One person at each location making a variety of mixed drinks taking 4-5 minutes per transaction. My wife only wanted a water and if I would have waited in line I would have missed a lot of the show and this isnt an exaggeration!Fix the drinks setup with 2 more employees and it would be great.

Beautiful venue. There was even an art gallery museum on 1st floor free of charge, that we visited after attending Smuin Ballet performance in theater on c 2nd floor. Easy parking in large municipal garage next door to Lesher. Restaur as nts b early to tie in lunch or dinner including right across street from parking & Lesher. We love this venue & on weekends is a nice jaunt from San Francisco for us. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places in Walnut Creek. They have amazing shows. We saw the Christmas Carol there and it was by far one of the best Ive seen. They also partner with schools to provide interactive theatre. Love the whole space, very comfy seats and easy to get to. Love they also have art exhibits from time to time and they are very welcoming. This is a true gem. Easy parking too and very kid friendly.

I have seen quite a few shows here, much more convenient that going to The City. This is a great venue for live performances. A former roommate of mine had a guitar show here one evening with a friend of his.I have seen a few musicals here, I think the last one I saw here was a mix of several musicals. Nice theatre, signage seemed a bit sparse. Not sure if this was just during construction it a regular thing. We were in the small theatre near the ticket office. It is a bit cramped upon first arrival but felt cozy during the play. Performers did a good job of including those of us on the small side of the stage. Several folks around us commented on the general seating as they too thought they had purchased assigned seats. Would definitely go again as I now know what to expect.

It is always a pleasure to go to the Lesher Theatre.I was there for a realtor event. Contra Costa Assoc. of Realtors had an event to share new business plans ideas. The state economics advisor presented forecast for 2023. The state attorney Advisor, Governor Hutchins, gave an entertaing presentation of new laws and forms for realtors. It was catered appetizers. It is always nice to visit with fellow realtors in the community.I have been to this theatre for plays and music events. Its always a wonderful experience.

We are so lucky to have a place like the Lesher Center in our city. Ive seen many different plays hear and the quality is superb in every way. The talent they acquire are professionals and bring a joy to the stage that is infectious. The stage crew does a great job. Having a live Orchestra there for the music adds an element that just rounds out the experience.

I have gone there before and seen some very good performances but yesterday the performance was sold out it was a 90-minute show with no late seating and my understanding is that since I was there at the box office they could have sold me a ticket particularly since I am in the theater community and I have proof of that. I was told I could go upstairs and watch the show on the TV screen which was very poorly colored however I think I was able to get most of the script as well as most of the music but its certainly not the same as seeing a live performance and because I came on BART with all the delayed trains and excessive daily threatening violence it was a very negative experience particularly since the day before when I called the box office I was told there were 12 tickets left and I got there by 1:50 pm for a 2:30 pm show. I know people in the theater world who wont even go there anymore because theyve been badly treated so Im not the only one. They should be like Berkeley Rep and have stools in the back for standing-room people and not release them until the day of the sold out performance. Plus if they have a no late seating policy for a 90-minute show why not just sell the tickets belonging to people not there by starting time and/or release them to the theater community.

I am still in shock how Lesher Center didn’t allow me and my daughter to see her friend’s ballet performance because we did the “wrong” Covid test. Although I had called them the previous day to confirm which Covid test they accept and we did what they told me, and both our tests came back negative. However, when we were to enter and when they checked our tests they said we didn’t do the right one and didn’t let us go although we have paid for tickets. My daughter was in tears because it was her best friend last performance but of course they didn’t care.

Great location in downtown Walnut Creek. They have sparkling lights on the trees and the whole place is warm and inviting. Parking in the public garage is usually covered by a small fee for events. Restaurants are in walking distance. Great evening.

The Lesher center is a wonderful small venue with multiple theaters. Weve always come to expect quality performances there.However, last night the Roy Orbison tribute left much to be desired. The lead singer was off key much of the time. The other musicians were very good. In particular, the lead female backup singer was excellent. She did a solo performance of 2 Patsy Cline songs that left us wishing she was the lead.

The San Francisco Bay Area is blessed with many great theaters and this is one of the more accessible gems. There is a parking lot attached (get there early though as it fills up quickly) and its an easy 1/5 mile walk from the Walnut Creek BART station. Its also surrounded by a wide variety of food options.The theater seats a good number of people, but its not so big that you any of the seats would really be considered bad. The box seats in the balcony are great for spoken work and bands (though you might want to bring earplugs because the speakers are hanging right next to you) but I dont recommend them for theatrical performances as youll miss some of what is on your side and be looking into the wings of the stage from the opposite side. The acoustics are good throughout (though like I said it can get quite loud in the balcony boxes).The lobby and floors have a good amount of space so hanging out with friends isnt too crowded while you are waiting for the house to open.

3 stages with a resident company. Seats are all good. There is also a studio style museum on the first floor. Staff are there for the love of it. They care about the building, so they have a hands off policy that is not normal in the industry.

I saw West Side Story the seating is comfortable the play was excellent and well done I had a lovely time oh and the coffee was good to I parked in the garage and enjoyed an Italian meal across the street I showed them my ticket and they made sure I got out on time there are four restaurants walking distance in the very beautiful downtown area that honor the Lesher tickets to be sure your on time

I was here for a private event so I cant speak to the quality of performances, but when I was here the theatre was beautiful and the sound in the auditorium was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Went to see Z is for Zombie yesterday for a matinee. It was entertaining and a good job at improv .Got the tickets at Goldstar (found on Groupon) at a discount. Good entertainment value.
