I had gone to America’s tires to get my air checked. (That’s where I originally bought my tires) they told me that my two fronts were wearing out of tred so they gave me an estimate price for them. It was 400 and something and some change. I said screw it I don’t have that kinda money, so I went to Les Shwab and talked to one of their managers. Tom was so freakin nice and gave me such a HUGE discount on my two tires. They were $400 tires and I paid $136.63 out the door! Thank you so much for giving me a discount and for getting me back safely on the road.

They are my heroes. I am currently moving to California and was 2 hours from my destination when I got a flat tire. The tow truck got me to the shop 25 minutes before close and they rushed to help me out. So grateful for all they did to help me safely finish my trip.

Made appointment..got there didnt have it.Lady didnt understand what I was saying about car burning outter edges of tires and pulling left! Basically did nothing wasted whole day. Its was like I was in another world!Im not an idiot I have about 8 cars and trucks motor home all that I maintained.Built 1st gen 4runner crawler. So give me that I might know what Im talking about.Never again!

If I could leave a 0 review I would !! This was my crazy experience. I made an appointment on the phone a week prior for 2 pm today for new brakes. I show up and check my car in at 1:30. The person behind the counter tells me it’s going to be a few hours. I come back 3 and a half hours later because they close at 6 I figured they would be close to done. They call my name at 6 pm and tell me I needed an alignment and all new brakes and a rotor. So I waited 4 hours for a quote for 1,200 !!! Then I did not get my car until 6:24 pm nothing done other then the alignment. I haven never seen worse service and lack of communication. I will never be returning to this location possibly the whole chain!

Make an appointment! I had to wait almost two hours because I didnt realize appointments were necessary these days. I appreciate they squeezed me in. What I didnt appreciate was them rummaging through my center console. They were supposedly looking for the lug nut key. I believe that, but ASK FIRST!!! When I asked about it the first employee said no way, they wouldnt do that. The second employee explained about looking for the lug nut key. The third employee went into overdrive defending the employees and how they are incapable of any wrongdoing because they have been backround checked. Since when does a backround check tell you what a person is going to do in the future? I dont think there was any wrongdoing but ASK FIRST before you go through my personal belongings! Also, please turn off the sensor that pops up telling me my tire pressure is low so I dont have to come back. Otherwise, they were great!

Hi everyone. We took our car to get checked and they found the problem. Great. But the mechanic got our car dirty of grease inside, he touched 3 places inside the car. I don’t think that’s professional. If you like your car clean just don’t go there. Sorry but I have to let others costumer know about this place.

Paid $95 for 4-wheel balance and rotation. Later that day 40 miles away while on the freeway the TPMS light comes on. I eventually stop and check tire pressures and find they vary wildly across the 4 wheels (In one case 7lbs off from what it should have been). This is basic stuff that the shop should have made right before they were done. Frustrating, and this isnt the first time Ive had problems like this with this LS location.

Anthony is the man and he assured me they could install the lift on my truck in spite of some tricky computer adjustments on my denali with magneride and he came through! Side note young lady at front desk is very friendly, detail oriented and follows thru. 👍

THIS IS NOT A CORPORATE STORE!!!NEVER USE THIS PLACE!!!! Update to 12/28/23 post. After all the previous issues, found out today THESE CLOWNS NEVER INSTALLED TIRE VALVE STEMS on my brand new tires.Never bothered to tell us we would not be able to put air in the tires without removing the WHEELS!!!!! Took the vehicle to Les Schwab in Grass Valley. They were GREAT! Had to order parts that Auburn had not put on, delaying our trip, but at least willing to help.2 days ago Had a set of 6 new tires installed today at a cost of more than $1500. We had reservations about using Les Schwab, as we had issues in the past - (Grease left all over the steering wheel and carpet in my BMW, New tire installed without everbeing balance, New set of tires that took way over time to complete installation) but, decided to give it another shot. Anthony was very nice and helpful in getting the tires ordered. Set up appointment time, and had the vehicle there inthe AM. Received a call around 2:30 PM the vehicle was done. Arrived shortly after. PULLED IN, THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED OUTSIDE - NO HUBCAPS ON, AND THE TIRES LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BEENDRAGGED AROUND - The sidewalls all scuffed and tires all dirty. We were told the tech had had trouble with the hub caps and had other vehicles they had to work on. OK, so we aresupposed to leave with NO HUB CAPS, and tires that looked like they had been USED???? We blurted out that this is why we quit coming here. Anthony, now began to cop an attitude, telling the techs to put the hub caps on (as if we were asking for the world). When we all walked outside the tech was putting on the HubCaps - Anthony told him to put them on and get some TIRE SHINE again like we were asking for something unusual. He then told us that he was tired of trying to make EVERYONE HAPPY ALL THE TIME. Took our $1500+ and never bothered to do anything else. Tech got the hub caps on, and with our help, zip tied them. (We had supplied the zip ties as we knewthe Hub Caps had a tendency to come off) They never cleaned them up.DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT DECENT CLEAN REASONABLE SERVICE! Anthony never inquired about why we had stopped coming, but instead copped a VERY BAD attitudeTHEY NEED TO KNOW THAT PEOPLE CAN BUY TIRES ANYWHERE! It is the SERVICE that will bing people back.

I have always appreciated your service. That being said, I have been a customer for quite sometime and today I was surely disappointed. I made an appointment for a tire rotation so as not to have a long wait. I was early for that and it took another 1 hour and a half. Never had to wait that long before.

I have always gone here since the local Big O Tires went out of business. Because my new truck was still under warranty I thought Id take it to Auburn Ford just in case it was a defect. It was not, it was a screw in the tire. They told me I needed to replace it. Fortunately I had a spare so I declined and took it to Les Schwab who was able to repair it no problem, and free of charge at that. Saved me an unnecessary bill of $250.As with any non appointment walk in at any tire place, expect a fair wait. Fortunately today I dont think my wait was too much more than an hour or two. I have waited much longer. Get an appointment if you can!I will always check them first, as they have always treated me fairly and honestly and always done what appears to be decent to good work.

I pulled in with very little air and even less time available to fix it. The staff realized the seriousness of my issue and sprang into action! The customer service is absolutely abhorrent. They will not reply to emails and will waste your time if you run into an issue or have serious concerns about your vehicle that end up ignored. Theyll also promise you refunds to save face and never deliver. Go literally anywhere else for tires. I was going here for years but no longer. My family has also switched. Ive told everyone I can to no longer use this business and to go to Americas Tires next door.

Tried to get a smog check but my check engine light went on while I was driving in, they told me its an automatic fail and I had to go get it diagnosed. i went to Les Schwab, Kyle informed me that they cant do it, but then recommended some places that could. I went and got it diagnosed and came back, Kyle told me that they couldnt fix that issue but printed out an address and phone number for a mechanic that could. Exemplary service, even if the other techs didnt want to help me, Kyle spent his time (on a very busy day) to help make a tough situation easier for me. Even if he couldnt help me at Les Schwab, he helped me find places that could. So this 5-star review is purely for Kyle, hes fantastic, give him a raise.

These people are absolute idiots, I took my car in and informed them that I have an interlock device in the car. When I got back in my car I had a lockout which was not there when I started the car for them to pull it in. I had also made sure to leave a new mouthpiece still in the packaging for them so they could blow into it if it went off. And they said they couldn’t do anything about it even though it’s their fault. Absolutely terrible customer service I will never be going back to them again and if you want quality I’d suggest you choose somewhere else. It’s bad enough that they have also given me 3 of the wrong size tires which caused the 4-wheel drive in my Subaru to not work making me almost slide off a cliff when it was icy and being the wrong size tires I could not use the chains that I had bought for the vehicle. And there was when they cross-threaded the bolts so when I had a blowout and had to swap tires I had to instead completely snap the bolts off to get the tire off then replace the bolts. So only go to any Les Schwab if you don’t care about your safety and if you want the worst customer service around.

Took over a week for brake installation. Called multiple times for updates and staff never seemed to know what was going on with the vehicle status. Finally after a week of being out a vehicle, brakes got done (after many phone calls practically begging them to work on it), and then brakes were smoking and had to go back and have more work done which took many more hours. Would not recommend this place at all and regret taking the vehicle there in the first place.

I have been a regular customer at this location, but my last couple of experiences have me rethinking this. I needed one tire, and it ended up being over $100 more than a similar quality tire next door. Though i needed only 1 tire, they were suggesting 2 tires. All fine and good, but if i needed two tires i would have gone next door and save $200.

I had an unfavorable experience with this place and it appears to be all about poor management & scheduling. On a positive note Ian is a rock star as far as his fast, professional service and his friendly personality. The store manager seemed pretty frazzled & not very efficiently helping me. Once my vehicle finally got to Ian, he took care of the problem that was created by this very shop quickly & sent me on my way. Ian appears to be a valuable asset to this shop, Im very appreciative of his help.UPDATE: I decided to give them another try today and scheduled an alignment and 4 new tires over the phone with Manager Tom. I arrived just prior to appointment time and stood in line for 10-15 min before being checked in. I went for a walk, returning 2 hours later and my car was still parked where I left it!! No one had touched it, yet everyone else in the waiting room when I left was gone. So we canceled the alignment, they mounted the tires and I was out within another hour. This place is ALWAYS busy! Big kudos to Marilyn at the front counter; most patient, friendly customer service!

Spend thousands of dollars just to have to come every other month to 2 months because of poor work, non lasting or even good material being put on & poor customer service. I asked them to test drive my vehicle to listen for the screeching brakes, that were just done a few months ago, he says he didnt hear it, I ask did you have the windows down?, even though you can hear it with them up, he said No I did not have the windows down, didnt hear anything. I bought four new tires in February and they recorded my mileage incorrectly at 100k stating that 7 months later I had driven 54k miles so I wasn’t eligible for the warranty when they already wore out. I work from home and at the end of Jan I have record of my mileage at 146k. When I went in yesterday my mileage was 154k which mean my mileage was actually somewhere in between there. I should have gotten my tires replaced for free but instead I had pay another $300 to replace two new tires that shouldn’t have worn out so quickly. Additionally I paid for TPMS service back in Feb and the light never went out. Paid again yesterday for the service and the light still isn’t out. I will no longer be using Les Schwab.

Its been almost 3 years since I had a wheel alignment on my vehicle. I figured it was somewhat overdue, which was my fault. I took my vehicle into the shop to see if they could fit me in. What I got was a completely aggressive attempt to upsell me to new set of tires. I am a trained technician, I do know the difference between bald tires and tires with tread still on them, I do know the difference between 50,000 mi in 17,000 mi and my tires were bought 17,000 mi ago I do very much know the difference between a tread thats intact and one thats starting to separate. I do know the difference between an upsell and not. My primary concern would be the noise that might be a wheel bearing and instead they wanted to try to sell me tires. I have been a customer of other Les Schwabs frequently and often and will continue to be a customer of other Les schwabs.

Have had them work on my car twice and had problems as soon as we drove it out of the parking lot. Fixed alignment and the car shook after. Replaced battery and the car wouldn’t idle after. They apparently need to reset the idle after changing the battery. They apparently don’t check their work before you pick it up

Had an appointment for an alignment, tire replacement, and rotation. They called right as i pulled in for the appointment first thing in the morning saying there was an equipment failure and couldnt do the alignment, ok, fine, equipment fails, I still need tires. Were very busy and understaffed so itll be a few hours I had an appointment for 8 am but ok, fine. 3 hours later the desk trainee says I need to come sign to have just 2 tires replaced on an all wheel, i dont know about cars, thats why im paying knowlegable people to do the work, shouldve been discussed when I brought it in. I get there we cant just replace 2 tires on an all wheel again, couldve been discussed when I brought it in. Well we only have 2, well get 2 more in the next hour or 2 could have been discussed 3 hours ago. Bryan, I am glad you learned from this experience, i learned aswell, but your supervisors need to step it up, it takes 2 minutes to look over a trainees work.

I had an appointment for wheel balance and rotate and wheel alignment. After waiting for an hour and forty five minutes, I inquired as to how much longer it would be. Found out the service writer never wrote up the alignment but the balance and rotate had been completed. I asked if the air pressures were checked and was told that they were set according to the label in the door panel at 35lbs. Door panel label says 39 lbs! 2 were set at 33 and 2 at 34lbs!

I was out of town and needed a trailer tire replaced. The staff was very nice. They had quite a bit of business going on, and theyd have it done by late afternoon. They actually had it done in about an hour. Im grateful they knocked it out, and I was back on the road. Ive been buying my tires from Les Schwab for years at another location, and appreciated the fact that they have so many locations that you can be serviced all over the place. We called them this morning, they said to bring it in they had time to rotate the tires and do the brakes. They said they had the parts to fix our brakes (which they did not have). My son drove there they knew he was waiting. he was there at 10. They did not start on the truck until 3pm. And then needed to get parts from a different store. He did not leave until after 5pm. Then tried to get us to leave it for the following day. This is not the first problem we have had with this store. But I guarantee it will be the last. We will go next door from now on. I have been a loyal customer for years. We are done with Les Schwab!

Came in the previous day to ask about a break inspection. I was told they do NOT do appointments and my best bet was to call before coming in to be put in que. Well thats what I did today called half an hour (10:30am) before coming in. Staff had a hard time finding my information let alone let me explain what I wanted looked at and my concerns. I was told because of calling in I should be up on the rack and out of here soon. I called back around 2:28m to ask about an update and was informed my car wasnt even touched yet. Iade it clear how important it is I have my car for work, and that I am not leaving it over night. Now at 5:41 I still havent received a call while I sit in the lobby and fear Im not going to have my car for tomorrow.

We were visiting family and are from out of town and got a nail in our tire. Called the day of and the man on the line was very pleasant and eager to help. He said to bring it on it even as a walk in. We walked in and were welcomed by a smiling sweetie named Kathy, who made sure we got out of there fast. It took maybe 20 minutes if that and was so inexpensive. I would recommend this place to everyone locally and just visiting from out of town. They will take care of you.

If I could give a 0 I would. I was told my tire was too bald to patch when I brought it in after it was punctured by a screw. Brought it to Les Schwab in Rocklin and they were able to patch it no problem. I believe this was pure laziness.

I’ve been to several Les Schwab tire centers in the area, but this one was by far the best. I was greeted by Tom. Super friendly and instantly insured me they would patch my tire and not charge me. Even though they were about 45 mins from closing, then got me in and out of there by the time they closed. Thanks for the fast, friendly, informative service. I would find another tire store to support. This one has rude and unprofessional people working for them. I gave them a second try for 3 years, and the same old stuff started to happen again. Supporting 4 cars, and other stuff, I spent a lot of time and $$$ there, not any more.Find a tire store who looks out for you and supports you and your needs. Plus is willing to fix things right, or have the knowledge too. I got a flat, it was 20 minutes before they closed, and I was 30 minutes from home. They squeezed me in, fixed my tire, and I was in and out within 20-30 minutes. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff was excellent and so nice (I had a terrible experience elsewhere trying to get help, and I was very stressed out) but the staff at this center were so comforting and helpful. If you ever need anything done for your tires, go here.

As a family weve been coming here since the opening of the store faithfully. Customer service has always varied and you can be sure wait times will be long but this was the worst!! wont be going back again...EVER! My husband took his truck there, after getting the truck home realized a wheel skin was missing, they made NO attempt to make good or take responsibility. Simply blamed it on a bad design....REALLY!! That truck has been driven over 150 thousand miles and never lost the wheel skin until now. Not about the cost about their dishonesty...Disappointing!!

These guys have great customer service. I use them for all my tire needs. They give good advice, good options, and are trustworthy. Theyll also let you split payments by check into thirds. This is handy as a way to space out the larger purchases. Theyll also plug a leaking tire for free- a really nice touch. I highly recommend them.

However,because of their popularity and high-volume the service can sometimes be a bit lax whichis what happened on my last visit. I’ve been going here for 20+ years and I’ve always been taken care of. We discuss safety, price, and durability. They have great reccomendations and suggestions. I’ve owned lowered vehicles that have been a challenge to fit and they have done test fits. I take my tesla here. Flat fixes are quick and efficient. I always buy the coverage and it pays for itself during the life of the car. Amazing service, what more do you want from an All American-Family Run - Locally Owned and Operated Establishment. oh yeah....They have a great waiting room with TVs and pop corn while you wait!!!

Got a great deal on 4 quality tires for my large SUV. After making out the paperwork and about 20 min. of making phone calls, I went to get some lunch next door and passed by the stall that my truck was in. They were already taking it off the jacks with my new tires installed and even my filthy rims were clean! 10 minutes later I was paid up and out the door ready to get that lunch. I love that place...this was the 4th set of tires Ive bought from this store and its always been the same-so quick and friendly, super efficient and they never try to sell me stuff I dont need. I just want to say how much I appreciated these guys! I came in to get my battery checked and I had to leave my car running while I went in to get someone. When we walked back to my car, to my utter disbelief and complete disappointment I discovered that the car had locked itself, while running, with the keys in the ignition. What could have been a very bad day turned out quite the opposite. With the mans help, encouraging words, and smiling face, we were able to get it unlocked quickly. What a blessing he was! A special thanks to Tom! When they checked my battery and discovered that it was bad, I decided to get the cheapest battery to replace it. A few minutes later a different employee came and told me that unfortunately the only battery they had of the one I wanted, had been damaged in shipping, and that the only other one they had in stock was their best quality one. He gave me a really good discount and they put that one in my car instead. Im just so grateful for honest men still in this world! Thank you Auburn Les Schwab employees! They could have easily taken advantage of me (and most car places do take advantage of women) but they didnt, they went the extra mile, and I am so thankful! I wish there were more people like this in the world. I highly recommend these guys, they wont let you down. If they are physically able to, they will do it for you!

We love Les Schwab and have our own little story of them saving the day for us. They would not take a tip for a job well-done, but we are thankful. On the way to a party, we returned to our car after picking up last minute gifts. A near flat tire was not going to get us the 30 miles to the party. Ryan was the guy inside who we contacted after hobbling up the street two miles to Les Schwab, where we bought our tires four months ago. Praying that they would still be open, alas, they had closed a half hour ago. They were wrapping things up when we asked if we would be able to get our tire fixed. They came out and checked the tire (with a nail in it!!) and it was on its way to being fixed. Ten minutes later we were on our way to the party. This place is hit or miss, either love them or hate them. Hard to love them when you get forgotten about, then you see people who got there after you receive service first while your car is still sitting there parked. I loved the one at my old town and they did a good job, this one has messed up twice so I am done. Furthermore, there was a review on here from a supposed former employee that talked about how they were encouraged by their manager to upcharge, make unnecessary repairs... Essentially fraud, not uncommon for this line of business but frankly, I will choose to go elsewhere.

These guys are awesome!We were headed to Reno in a rental car when we found out road conditions required chains. The cars manual said chains could not be used on the vehicle. The mechanic who helped us verified that cables could be used on the car and checked to see that they had the right size cables in stock and they did! We were back on the road in less than 10 minutes. They provide excellent customer service!

Wow. The fastest, friendliest service ever. We had a flat on the freeway in 102 degree temps and the AAA tow truck that put the spare on recommended this close by Les Schwab. They accommodated us right away even though they were closing in a few minutes and we were in and out of there in less than 15 minutes - almost didnt have time to munch the free fresh-popped popcorn in the clean, air conditioned lobby! Ive had good tire service from this franchise in the past (another location), but but my daughter was recently given an estimate here for front brakes at nearly double what it cost elsewhere. They also told her she needed calipers, which was not the case. She was told her brakes would fail if she didnt get them done asap. Also not the case. I took her car to another shop who has done right by me in the past and they verified the condition of her brakes. I dont appreciate Les Schwab using scare tactics to get business which is what happened here.

To those of us who frequent Les Schwab at many different locations know that they can be GOOD and BAD. I can assure you this is a BAD location. My crew member in a fleet truck was turned away for a simple tire rotation because it was not an “essential service“. The Les Schwab employee then stated the truck could be left with them for service. With which my crew member agreed but then Les Schwab employee promptly backed out of. This forced my crew member to have to travel to Rocklin where the rotation was done no questions asked. Upon contacting this location I was basically told they were to busy and shorthanded to perform the guaranteed tire rotation and that showing up at 330pm for a rotation was unacceptable. (They close at 6pm). As a customer and consumer I relayed my opinion on how this type of service does not warrant me bringing fleet trucks to be serviced at that location. It fell on deaf ears as I was promptly hung up on.

My mom and I were part of a caravan of horse trailers heading from Grass Valley, CA to a horse show in Rancho Marietta, CA. We weren’t even 30 minutes down the road and a passing truck hand signaled to us that we had a flat on our brand new horse trailer. We safely pulled over and to our delight across the highway was a local tire shop. We quickly called to get help ASAP as we had a full load of horses standing in 100* heat. Unfortunately for us, the tire shop was booked and rudely declared that they would not schedule us as an emergency appointment. Frantically, we looked up Les Schwab and luckily found a tire center a mile up the road. They were friendly, understanding of our situation, and had a technician to our location in under 20 minutes. Was caught far from home and needed a tire, the tow truck driver suggested a near by Les Schwab. When I arrived they were busy but took the time to carefully go over prices. I foolishly had left my wallet at home and literally only had some cash on me. I am a female and feel completely intimidated in these situations! They not only took care of my 2002 Mercedes 2 front tires (as the other tire had the same horrible wear on the inside, I mean the metal string things were fringed out) they actually worked with me on the price and I was able to get home (1hr away) with peace of mind. My car even drove better because of an extra step (at no cost) that I fully didnt understand (regarding weight balance or something ) but I could tell my steering wheel felt better. We blew two tires on our RV and had to abandon it on the side of the freeway because a forest fire had taken all the emergency vehicles and we had no way to tow it and had no idea what size tires we needed.They replaced a whole new set and let us store our vehicle until we could pick it up. Had an appointment for an alignment and rotate and balance at 11:00. I showed up at 10:45 to get signed in. They said the alignment should take about an hour and the balance 45 mins but they would have to let me know after the alignment was done when they could fit the balance in. Sold us a replacement tire with warranty. It fell off the car after driving it 20 miles. As it shifted the car back and forth, debris from being forced off the road damaged the front underside of our car. They towed us back to their store and replaced the tire for free, but would not pay for damages to our vehicle after admitting their technician did not fully fasten the bolts into the rim. They would not respond to our letters of intent to collect on damages as a result of their negligence. We decided it wasnt worth the time and hassle to spend a day in court for $250, but did decide to post a review to current and future customers. We will recoup the loss by simply having them lose a customer or two. Its very bad business to admit wrong and fix half the damages, but not all. Karma, she bea comin!

Went in for front end alignment only. They not even look at truck much less put it up on the lift and told us we needed a lot of front end work done before they can do an alingment. Husband said he would take care of himself. Bought the 3 sets of parts they said was needed to be changed (about 150.00 worth) and set about changing things to only learn there was NOTHING wrong with any if the 3 areas they said needed changing. They wanted to sell 4x4 parts and added labor is all they wanted. Sense then we have talked to 6 or so other people and all had the same bull pulled on them or someone they knew. Dont go here unless it is the only place in town to go to, best is you do the work yourself if you can.

I was promised my tire could be patched for $15. Repeatedly. After the mechanic stabbed my tire multiple times to make sure it would be just a $15 dollar job, I was told it would be done in one hour. When Christmas turned out to be on Tuesday this year, my daughter and i decided to spend the long weekend together in Auburn (1/2 way between us both) we had an awesome time together and for the time we spent, we used my jeep and let hers set there. When we were about to leave we noticed my daughters tire had a flat (nail in it). We found the nearest tire place (Les Schwab) and i put her stupid donut tire on and took off. When we pulled up to Les Schwab a girl came right out and greeted us, found out what was wrong and said they would take care of it, and if your hungry here is a 20% off coupon for the eatery next door. Awesome food and about 30 minutes later we came out to find the tire fixed, the 5 sand bags my daughter had in the back put nicely in place and there was NO CHARGE for anything....perfect end to a perfect weekend :)Thanks people of Les Schwab

I have been with les Schwab for 8 years the last 2 have not been so good. There have been 5 issues but the last one was enough. I brought the truck in for 2 tires. After leaving and on the freeway the truck was bouncing badly. I returned asking for a rebalance and was told I needed a rotation and it probably would not solve the problem. I was told I needed to get 2 more tires. I let them do what they said it needed and the truck bounces even worse. I took the truck to American tire for a rebalance and the truck rode perfectly. Worst experience dealing with my car I have ever had. Started out fine, was told to be back in two hours and I could leave with my brand new tires in tacked and ready to go. I arrive two hours later to find out nothing has been changed on my car and told to come back an hour later. I come back only to have one of the employees tell me that there was problem with the tires. I needed 1 inch tires bigger than the ones I was quoted to get, well this 1 inch in tire was going to cost me about 100$ extra he said, I told him no thank you and simply asked for a refund no problem. Well He told me about 5 times that he knew I was mad at the situation to which I replied everytime Im not mad i understand, accidents happen. Finally he said well its not really an accident, its kind of all your fault. You told us the wrong size tires, which was not true, I told him from the beginning I didnt know what size the tires were. And to top it off arent they supposed to be the TIre Experts? How did this happen when the tire size is on the door of every car, and they had to look there any way to make sure the year of the model. He then went on to insult me and tell me that knowing the size of my tires is just a part of life that I would have to learn someday. I used to work here, I had worked for toyota in the past, went and got a job here at les schwab, the manager Tom lopicalo is a dirty owner and manager of the shop, if there were brakes that wore a little uneven in the front on one side then the other he would make us recommend replacing the calipers, all that needed to be done was a proper brake adhusment, but instead would tell the customers there calipers were bad, thats a very expensive job for nothing. Would make us do tires first for customers they liked. He would make techs there recommend.replacing ball joints, tie rods when doing a alignment, he would take the readings on the machine of the alignment before it was adjusted and show the customers that this was as close as they could get it, in order for them to get into specs the tie rods and ball joints had to be replaced. I quit after 3 weeks, I could not believe how horrible that place was, I was ashamed to wear there uniform, Im all about helping people making sure they get great service and earning there trust.. lopicalo the manager and owner is a corrupt person. I highly highly advise to not go to les schwab in auburn for service, that guy needs to pay for what he done to thousands of people, makes me sick to think how many people spent alot of money for nothing.

I went in to get my tire pressure checked, found that my back passenger tire was low due to a nail in it. They checked it and said they cant repair the tire and that I would need to pay $300 for a replacement tire! I said no and had the spare put on and went on my way! The next day I went to plaza tire in penn valley and they repaired the supposed un-repairable tire per les schwab and put it back on my truck all for free and in less than 30 minutes! They recommended a hub bearing over $400 service. got second third and fourth opinion they lied. they also said my brakes were in the yellow range. all the other places said they are well over 50 percent life left.found a place that lubed up all the points on my brakes and cleaned and adjusted the drum brakes. At 10:45 my truck rolled in to replace 4 tires and correct the steering wheel out of alignment from the last front wheel alignment.
