Came to have my tires checked & without the guy checking or looking at the tires he said it was an internal problem & we need to go to a dealer. So did just that, took the vehicle to the dealership & they laughed, said the guys here are lazy & nothing but a joke because they send everyone to a dealership instead of doing their job. The funny part is it was 100% a bad tire sensor like we thought it was. Thanks to the Ford dealership for confirming that for us. I DONT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS TIRE PLACE, ITS JUST A BIG WASTE OF TIME!

Great prices, quick speeds, and great service. I want to shout out the older bald guy (sorry I didn’t catch your name) that assisted me in the parking lot and made me feel welcomed right away. I also want to thank Ruben for being an excellent, knowledgeable, and straight to the point rep. It was like typing into a computer. He knew every answer, every specification, and just knew how to sell.

During last week I had a chance to go to Les Schwab Tire Center, S Jaye St, Porterville, CA couple of times. Once for getting flat tire changed for my wife’s Toyota Corolla Hybrid and the other time for getting engine oil changed for my Ford Edge. I was provided an excellent service both of the times by their technicians even I was a totally new customer at their store. I don’t want to forget the warm welcome and efficient registration of mine by the customer service front desk lady. Thanks a lot all there. All atmosphere inside and outside around there was neat and clean as I walked around the place for sometime. I was astonished to see the level of cleanliness and hygiene in restroom too. I recommend this tire place to all residents of Porterville.

I have had great experiences with Les Schwab Tire Center up until these last two oil changes. I had an scheduled an oil change appointment for today, but the associate said that he couldnt find my appointment under any name. I also have the email confirmation for the appointment. During the whole exchange he was rather short and rude with his responses, like he was having a bad day or something. Great example: I asked if Les Schwab refills your windshield wiper fluids, generally all fluids are checked during oil changes. The guy asked me if I meant antifreeze, and when i clarified window wiper fluid he asked me again and then laughed saying that he doesnt have any windshield wiper fluid in his shop so he didnt know what I was talking about. I had the same older guy associate help me during my last negative experience. Everyone else has always been cool, just not the older guy.

I’ve been there three times and they have consistently been phenomenal. They have a great team and have awesome customer service. Quick, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.

Update 3/22/23: they owned up to their mistake and reimbursed the cost of the work that had to be done to correct their mistake. This is good business sense. A costly mistake was still made and their estimate for brakes was way overpriced, reasons for only 3 stars.Caused $700 worth of damage to our car. Had them do an oil change. On the next visit for an oil change they discovered they had over torqued the drain plug. They couldn’t fix it due to not having the tools. Had to take it to a dealer to put in a new oil pan. Horrible service and quality of work. Do not go here.*they also triple charge for brakes. On a different car we were quoted $800 just for rear brakes, got it done at a Beebee’s for half that and that included all brakes and 2 rotors.

I have always received fantastic service at our Porterville Les Schwab! I’ve gone to them for tires and other service. Everything has always been done quickly and with complete attention to detail. I know where I’ll be taking my car for my upcoming service.UPDATE:A week ago, I went in to have my front suspension checked, as it was acting extremely loose and was quite noisy. Abraham at Porterville Les Schwab diagnosed and performed all the needed repairs (struts, inner and outer tie rod ends, end links) as well as the alignment. Not only was the process convenient and pleasant, but my 2011 Charger drives like a new car again! The front end is quiet and tight, just as it should be. Once again, the people at the Porterville Les Schwab made me glad that I entrusted this work to them.

We took my truck here because i had been having issues with my rear passenger tire always showing low PSI. PSI should be 36, and was sitting around 28 on and off for a couple months. They discovered 2 punctures in the tire, but said they could only repair 1 because they were close together. They repaired one and said they aired up the tires to “get us by.” They aired that rear tire to 50 PSI! And it hasnt gone down at all since taking the truck there a week ago and driving it around everyday since. I’m no car/tire expert, but i know its risky to drive around with overinflated tires! And for the record, they inflated all the tires over 40 PSI… we will be going to Carrolls for any future issues
