The Lencrafter associates were very kind and attentive. I felt very comfortable and the store was clean and inviting. The eye doctor was also very knowledgeable and she gave me great advice for my dry eye situation and recommended products. They had an assortment of eye glasses that I couldnt decide which pair to buy. It was a pleasant experience.

There was some kind of mix up with the glasses I had ordered but they were super helpful in rectifying the situation and getting me my frames I had or digitally ordered. Thank you for the kindness thru the whole process from the eye exam to selecting the frames and especially for fixing the mistake. I highly recommend them for their customer service alone.

Very pleased with my experience! I went to get an eye exam and new glasses at this location and I am very happy I did. I was quickly greeted my the store manager, Crystal, who helped me right away and provided excellent customer service. Then, Rolando was also very attentive and helped me with selecting my frames. Although a bit pricey, my insurance (eyemed) provided a great deal. I received my prescribed glasses the same day.

The worst, I had to call in to follow up for my glasses and a few weeks into wearing my glasses they scratched… I called in to ask for help with buffing out lens and it is an extra fee only to replace the lens with my warranty??? First and last time being a customer with Lens Crafters. Over priced and not worth the service.

This is my first time not getting accommodated from the crew of Dr Lamb located in the West Covina Mall. The assistant manager was very rude and disrespectful knowing that the doctors not in. She did not want to accommodate even though we cannot see out of the pair of glasses. If things do not get settled I will go to the BBB. No name tag was on the assistant manager. She had a very rude and fighting spirit. Dr. Lamb please fix this and accommodate. There is no number or email to contact you. This is the first time and last time. Ive come for years and this will sadly be it.Update: went in and spoke to the manager Dr Lamb, he basically puts trust in his crew that they did nothing wrong. And I requested a full refund and he informed me he felt uncomfortable helping me after that. This leads me to believe that there may be more that involves himself and his Assistant Manager which is a Female. That or he took no accountability not only as a professional but a man. Very immature and unprofessional to say the least on the doctors end. No phone call was given for any kind of apology to my wife. Filled out the Form the owner sent to me. The customer is always right, but in this instance this was horrible customer service and a waste of time.

Second time here looking for frames only. Made a purchase this time and I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised with the customer service and lack of sales pressure, which I heard is a problem sometimes. I have had the same optometrist for years and really not looking to change, except the choice of frames in his place is limited. Came one before to look around and make a “short list” and service was pleasant as I recall. Today, greeted and asked if I needed help. Didn’t think I did since I knew what I wanted, so he walked away. When I did have a question he was very helpful and finished the sale. He did ask if I needed the prescription filled here and when I said I didn’t, he moved on. Even offered me the AAA discount which I would not have thought to ask. Score!!!!I also have to say, compared to Montebello location where I was ignored, this place has a larger selection it seems as well. Maybe just larger space but feels like they have more in store to choose from.

I spent almost $900 on prescription Ray-Ban Wayfarer glasses. The associates opened, and threw away the box to my brand new glasses. If I paid almost 1k for glasses, I expect everything that comes with my purchase. DONT THROW AWAY THINGS THAT DONT BELONG TO YOU.

My experience at Lenscrafters in the Westfield West Covina Mall during the week of Black Friday 2022 was nothing short of a nightmare. While my eye exam went smoothly, ordering my glasses was a different story. They had informed me of a Black Friday special, but when I attempted to take advantage of it using my eye insurance, I was told that I would need to purchase another set of glasses to qualify. Disappointed but determined to save money, I decided to order my glasses online instead.However, when my glasses were delivered to the store for pickup, the situation took a turn for the worse. After confirming that my glasses were in and signing for the package, I discovered that my glasses had been stolen, and all that was left was a piece of paper with lenses. When I brought this to the attention of the store manager, Crystal Solano, she was incredibly dismissive and defensive, even going so far as to suggest that I was overreacting.It took nearly three weeks to get a replacement set of glasses, and I believe that the employees at Lenscrafters may be colluding to steal inventory from online orders. The fact that my glasses were returned to me in the same way they had been shipped to the store, but this time with the glasses case included, suggests that someone in the store may have taken my frames for personal use.Needless to say, I would strongly caution against using Lenscrafters for anything other than an eye exam. Their Black Friday special was not applicable with insurance, and their employees may be stealing frames from online orders. Save yourself the headache and order your glasses directly from their website, and have them shipped directly to your house. Do not tell them the brand you ordered, or you may end up in the same situation I did.In short, Lenscrafters failed to live up to their mission statement, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I called in regards to my broken glasses getting fixed since I couldn’t get ann appointment with my optometrist after 5 days. Steve helped me out as soon as I walked in to assess broken frames and use my emergency frames. Within less than an hour they were able to get my replacement frames ready and I can finally see! Crystal was more than professional and willing to work with me. Even though the store was about to close. Crystal also gave me the break down of an insurance purchase and non-insurance purchase. Only downside I had was that the advertised discounts online and in-store were not applicable to my purchase due to an insurance. I also ask if the store has a first responer or military discount it did not.

I came here due to nice experience of LensCraft Montebello and it’s near my house. However, it takes nearly a week to finalize the contact lens. The doctor just asked me questions for pleasantries not really to find out the habits and activities that I use the lens for. Montebello’s doctor listened and suggested me the best one for my activities, I didn’t realize how good it was until coming to this place. Also, all the time I spent at Montebello was just 1 day.And the most annoying thing is that they keep asking if I need new glasses after stated clearly that I just need contact lens, not under 3 times. First and last time here.

Went in today for a warranty repair since the frame screw fell off . Unfortunately the warranty had expire a month ago but Angelica told me “oh don’t worry it’s a easy fix” . the frame was a bit difficult to aligned but with the assistance of Rolando they manage to take care of my problem at no charge. Visit 1: I went and bought glasses and contacts for daughter. I was initially helped by Crystal but then some other guy (white guy glasses) took over which started asking me questions while I was still with the optometrist and focused on daughter. He seemed annoyed I wasn’t ready to discuss transitions on my glasses and when I politely said I needed a few minutes he sharply turned and walked away mumbling something. I’m a pretty easy sale and normally dress down on days off so maybe I wasn’t up to his standard I don’t know. When he measured my eyes I asked him for the measurements before I’d purchased glasses and he gave me one number. After I purchased my $500 set of glasses with insurance and paid he “corrected” the measurement and his demeanor changed. If I was salty I’d give him a 3/5 but I give this location a 5/5 and I’ll explain why.Firstly, the optometrist and the rest of the staff were extremely like able and the optometrist demeanor was pleasant and comforting. He treated my daughter with care and I appreciate that.The selection is normally dismal at this location, however, this time it was a gold mine for me. They had several larger frames and found a perfect fit with a large glass surface for my bifocals… lol.I ended up purchasing contacts a week after from Crystal. The difference in pricing between the store and online is negligible. She was courteous and helped even when I was digesting the cost of daughters contacts. The reason why I am also giving this 5 stars is she quoted me two weeks to receive my daughters contacts but I believe I received them next business day. I wasn’t going to buy my daughter contacts until she turned 16 but I made her a bet at the start of the school year that if she got all A+ on her final report card I’d consider… well not only did she get all A+ on her final report card but she also won student of the year so yeah this was a special occasion and reward for her… the fast shipping definitely made my daughters day :)

On 11/15/21, I went into the West Covina LensCrafters after having dropped my glasses that bent the frame while moving boxes from my garage. I was assisted by Elsa who approached me in a friendly manner. She quickly was able to adjust my frames back into position. This enabled me to see clearly again through my progressive lenses. So, I ended up getting there late and they managed to squeeze me in.. thanks guys . So, Its the first time needing a pair of glasses and it was a pleasurable experience. The whole staff took the time to explain everything, so I really do appreciate the whole crew. Because of the whole covid nonsense you have to wear the mask, but they give you an opportunity to pick out your glasses and try them on in a nice room and take the mask off to see what you look like. So I was able to take my time with my wife and comfortably try them on. That room allowed us to have our privacy and make our decisions in comfort. Elsa took her time as well and patiently explained the difference in options for the type of prescription and the costs. I definitely recommend Lens crafters in the West Covina mall.

I arrived at the West Covina store on Sunday probably around 1ish, there was no wait, compared to much busier days when they are packed, and Brian was who greeted me. He went over my options thoroughly to help me decide what type of lens would suit me. He was professional, welcoming and attentive to what my concerns were and knowledgeable in every aspect. From my first step in to my last wave goodbye, and everything in between, I was treated with care! I went in for an eye exam and to buy new glasses, and all the girls at the front were super friendly and attentive. I had three of them running up and helping me with getting my frames, getting my insurance squared away, scheduling me in, everything! Even when I had my eyes dilated and couldnt see my own face in the mirror, the girls even helped me pick out a pair of glasses that was complimentary to my face. Dr. Gonzalez was extremely kind, knowledgable, and made my experience a memorable one. I felt like he actually cared about me as a patient, which I do not feel from most doctors. When I got the call that my glasses had arrived, the fit and prescription were perfect and I am now writing this review with my cool new blue IQ glasses that make me feel like my eyes are actually open! Coolness!! These guys are the coolest and Im super happy to have met them all! :) Also, Dippin Dots is right next to this place, so even if you dont need glasses you should just go and say hi after you get your fix of Dots.

This LensCrafters is horrible. I went in recently for an eye exam and new glasses. I was there for 3 hours. The staff has no organization and the girls that work there are clueless and unprofessional. I called twice following up to see if they had a pair of eye glasses in stock. I was told a call back and never received one. I called a different LensCrafters in the surrounding area. They were able to find the eyeglasses I wanted in the brand I wanted as well. This location offers you poor service overall. I suggest going somewhere else.

Lenscrafter has very bad customer service and might overcharge you if you are using insurance. I was at Lenscrafter on 8/13/16 @ 10:30 am, Saturday. Trying to get 3 prescription glasses, 2 with insurance and 1 paying out is pocket. We were there for more then 2 hours. At the end of 2 hours we were out of patients and agreed upon getting 2 pairs only (1 with insurance and 1 out of pocket). It was all good until I walked out the door and looked at the receipt and found that they overcharged me $60 on the pair that I used insurance. I went back trying to tell them that they overcharged me $60 on the frame (my insurance covers the frame in full). But the guy called Ralph (I think) said that the $60 was not charged and asked me to use my cell phone to check with my credit card account. Really? I signed for it, my signature is on the bottom of the receipt and he told me that he didnt charge me that amount? My husband was trying to tell him to look at the receipt and he did not use any language that is inappropriate but was frustrated, because Ralph did not listen to what we are trying to point out to him. He basically told us to be quite and call my credit card company. He even got up and tell my husband to shut up or he wont help (may not be exact wordings, but it is how I feel I was treated). He is not helping anyways. This is their customer service. I guess when the computer do all the pricing for them, they dont know how to do the calculation and assumed the computer must be right. Then another guy (didnt get his name) offered to help. He did the manual calculation himself and he knows it is an overcharge but did not know why and try to fix it manually by writing down everything that we previously done for the last 2 hours on the computer. I got upset when he told my husband that he would whether be dealing with me than him now (in front of my kids). That is when I told him to return everything and just return the money to my credit card. We ended up paying for the pair that we paid out of pocket because it was ready at the end of all these. But we will never come back again. They have very bad customer service and they might overcharge you if you are using insurance. We ended up getting the other 2 pairs at Sears Optical. They have the same glasses, with the insurance we ended up paying $70 less than at Lenscrafter, plus Sears did not overcharge me $60. We were at Sears for maybe 30 minutes and got 2 pairs. They might not have the computer fitting technology that Lenscrafter has and you cannot pickup the glasses in an hour, but with the money you save and the customer service that we were getting, I would whether have my business somewhere else than Lenscrafter. Lenscrafter may have the computer fitting but it took forever. Your picture have to be taken at least 3 times and if they hit the wrong button it has to be retake again. And with the transitional lenses that we are ordering, we will still have to wait 1 week at Lenscrafter. Lenscrafter has very bad customer service and to my opinion might overcharge you if you are using insurance. $60 was not explained to me why it is charged, but according to my insurance, it covers all of my frame cost, so to my opinion, the $60 is a mystery charge. They are in a service industry and this is not how you treat a customer. At least one need to listen to what the customer has to say, but they cannot even do that. Have your business somewhere else.Update: just checked with my credit card. They did not return the correct amount. $60 still missing. Filling dispute with my credit card company instead. Done dealing with Lenscrafters.

They are all salesman trying to extract money for unnecessary things. I talked with my friend and it was same experience .
