Great atmosphere and very beautiful and organized and clean space.. this is bar and restaurant they also do catering.. they have hookah on certain days and full bar. their food is 8/10. The value is still great. Do recommend it for people would like to date and have great romantic experience with great meal and some great top notch drinks. service could use some smile sometimes to be excellent and some dishes like their appetizer have opportunity to get better. Will be back!

This place is such a hidden gem in Azusa. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, well decorated, organized and clean. Their food is delicious, fresh and they serve in large quantities. It a perfect little spot for a romantic date.

THE BEST TASTING MEDITERRANEAN FOOD IN AZUSA! HANDS-DOWN! Great portion plates enough to feed two people, but of course I dont share because the quality and taste was absolutely amazingly good! Beautiful bar, great table service, delicious drinks, and tasty espresso shot too! Clean and friendly service! My family and I love Lemon Zest, we have been wanting to go since they opened and finally went this past Friday! The service and food here is amazing and they recently brought hooka too! We ordered a bottle of red wine, the appetizer platter, pomegranate hot sauce ( which they make ), truffle fries, and baba baba ghanous to start which were all so fresh and tasty. For dinner we order thé chipotle wrap and thé super combo which included chicken and beef luleh and beef kabob, which were all so tender and juicy as well. They I highly recommend this gem and will definitely have them cater our upcoming party! Keep up the great work!

Outstanding!!! Some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve tasted in quite some time. The chicken was extremely flavorful and seasoned well. It was moist and not dry unlike others I’ve had in the past. The rice was cooked perfectly, and and topped with a pinch of saffron giving it a rich yellowish color. The salad was fresh and tasted great. Although,the establishment is rather small in nature, the dining area was clean and well kept as were the tables. There is an small outside eating area offered as another option. The staff was very personable, friendly and welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Our server was very attentive to our needs throughout our entire meal. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the mood for a Mediterranean dish.

My first time visit: The design and ambiance is classy, its definitely a more upscale feel (for this small city). The prices are a bit high, but the food is delicious and the plate portion is large, so I feel that it balances out. I got the lamb kabob plate. The rice and Greek salad were excellent, and the lamb was tender! I was quite pleased that the meat was tender. I also got the pecan bars for dessert, which were so moist and perfect. Im pleased with this spot and will definitely visit more.

A great new option in town. It can be hard to find a good place to eat healthier alternatives and Lemon Zest is definitely a great option. The staff is super kind and the place is always very clean. I do think this is a new location and feel like the owners should invest a little more time getting the staff up to speed. As mentioned they are extremely courteous and prompt but lack consistency. I think with a little help the service could be exceptional, the outdoor area could be great, and it could be a really fun place to attend on a regular basis.

My Chipotle chicken wrap and pita bread with dill dip starter was pretty good but, a friend who we were there for did not have a good time. Her fries tasted like they were cooked from frozen. She said didnt like her gyro and the waitress forgot part of her order. I had to wait a long time till I was asked if I needed anything. Seemed to be a little attitude with the staff too.

I went for lunch and they were out of garlic spread. This is the second time theyve been out. I also wanted to enjoy my meal with a coke soda and they were out of that as well. To top it off my salad had a hair mixed in it. As much as I love their chicken kabobs this was a total turnoff. I will not be returning here.

Got a notice for a hot and new place near me. I have been craving Mediterranean food so it was a win-win situation. I ordered the beef lule lunch special. Two beef lule over Greek salad and two mezze, I chose hummus and baba ghanoush. The beef lule was flavorful and paired perfectly with the Greek salad. The hummus and baba ghanoush were creamy and decadent. The server said it does not come with pita bread so I ordered a side of it. They came out fresh and warmed up. The baklava was good and the lemon bar was ok. A little on the pricier side and service was kind of slow but they just opened fairly new in the neighborhood. There’s street parking and more in the back with outside seating too. They have a bar but from what I heard the beer tap was not functional yet. The holiday decor inside was tasteful not garish. Restrooms are gender neutral and clean.

This was my 1st time here and I can tell you it was the best experience that I have ever had at a restaurant the staff really went above and beyond. Jerika the server was amazing she helped me out and gave me some really good recommendations and made sure that my order was accurate she was very sweet and made sure I had a beverage while I waited. Steven the chef was amazing 👏 the food looked amazing picture perfect and when there wasnt something in stock he made sure he did the best he could with what he had and made some very good recommendations also very knowledgeable with allergies. April was very sweet as well she offered recommendations and was very nice she came and helped out super friendly.

Im giving this restaurant 5 stars in the optimistic hope that the small things improve .The food was very very good..the flavors were some of the best Ive tasted.The staff were super friendly and professional.The rice was fluffy and very tasty.The humus was incredible.And its a nice cozy place.Ok... things Id change tomorrow if I had my way.Make it a sit down service.. the idea of having a greeter at the front and then having to go to the back to order is not a good idea. The place is too small for that and when you guys start to get really busy... and you will .. this will be a major inconvenience, and a major bottle neck area.Serve side plates when customers share a 2 combo meal.Rule number 1 of every restaurant, ALWAYS offer alcohol... ALWAYS.Move the trash can and the take out containers away from customers line of sight.Get rid of the 3.5% CC fee. Incorporate it in your menu if you wish.. but stop making it a public display... physical money is dying out... this will put some people off.Now, they are still in a soft open state, so this might all be temporary.Things I wouldnt change... the food. The staff...perfect.This has already become my favourite place in Azusa to eat... solely because of flavours and Staff.

New spot. Will preface with them being newly opened. The service was a bit slow. It wasnt busy, just slow. Took a long time to get the food. The food was good, but for the price, definitely not worth it. No drinks, two wraps with some fries just shy of $50! The wraps werent warm, they were definitely grilled at some point, but lackluster. For the price of the food here, I will probably stick to The Diplomat. By the time we made it home we needed to eat again, was not fulfilling and the price really hurt my pocketbook for what we got.

We were recommended Lemón Zëst by a neighbor. Its a cute spot for a date. Unfortunately, when my my wife ordered a lemonade, they were out. So she defaulted to a Sprite, and they were out of that as well. The waiter kindly offered an ice tea . I guess if I had to make a suggestion is to be up front about the beverages you are out of rather than having to make a shotgun decision as youre running out of options. Other than that, food was fresh and the pita bread was warm.

I went it with my girlfriend on April 5th. The young waiter with long eyelashes, long hair and tan hair clip told me to look at the menu when I was what was popular here and when i was ready to order she said I wouldnt get that. Seriously. When I finished my order I gave 10% tip since it was a take out order and I vividly heard she said something about the tip to another person in the kitchen. Not sure what her problem was. Please have a talk with her as this was a very bad experience. Please contact me with the waiters name and when she will be there so i can avoid her. Because I would still like to go back just not when shes working, I do not want me and my girlfriends day to be ruined because of her attitude

From a customer perspective, this place was pretty great. Food is tasty and seasoned and they have HUGE portions.Theres always downsides like they dont have that many staff, their prices are a bit high but not the worst Ive seen in that town believe it or not.Their service is great and most of the staff is friendly.My personal recommendation is the chicken wrap with their homemade pomegranate hot sauce with a side of fries.The place is clean, very warm and inviting often times.I dont really have photos but I have eaten there alot.

Drove 25 minutes, arrived at 6:56 and the door was locked. I saw they were cleaning up. Google said they closed at 8 pm so I thought we had plenty of time. They made no effort to come to the door, just waved me away. Will not know how good their food is. We left upset and hungry.

2nd time at Lemon Zest and LOVE this addition to our town! Cocktail list is amazing and bartender Michael is top notch! I got the coconut margarita and the busy bee. My husband enjoyed the New York Sour. Both times I ordered the shrimp skewer with garden salad and the flavor of the marinade is unbelievably delicious! My husband raved about the sour beef skewers and last time ordered the chicken and beef combo, which he loved. Waitress Tish was fantastic. We only wished we had room for the baklava dessert we had last time. Sat outdoors with our pup last time on the adorable patio and indoors tonight. Love the ambiance and menu. Highly recommended for date night or even a preordered lunch wrap for a quick meal some time. SO GOOD!!

I was very excited to try the food here because I loved the decor. It looks amazing on the inside and the outside. But the food was not very good. That salad was the worst Mediterranean salad I’ve ever had. Very bland! The rice.. was dry and had no flavor! overall its over priced for the lack of quality. (The music was some weird country music, it did not make sense for the vibe of the restaurant).

Great Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Azusa. Food is absolutely top notch, with vegan options available as well (big plus in our family). The chicken though is really superb! Just hope they get enough foot traffic to stay around!

This place just opened and Ive eaten here twice now. Its really delicious! They are really into fresh ingredients and yummy Mediterranean flavors. Theres really cool touches like cold water for the table with a big sprig of rosemary in it. That sounds like it may not be good but it just made the water so delicious and fresh. Service was professional and friendly. Cant wait to go back when I can check out the bar!

A cute little restaurant that has some tasty Mediterranean food!I had the all veg plate with rice/hummus and it was very yummy. It also had a falafel which was not at all oily which is usually a fear when trying a new place. Rest assured it was well prepared, not oily, and just the right amount of chickpea flavors.Atmosphere is quaint and welcoming and the staff was very polite and helpful.It was on the pricier side which I guess would be the only downer.While its still a really new location I think it was a very good experience and Ill definitely be going back.

This place is truly awful. I was so excited to go with my family and all four of us were disappointed. There was a hair on my husbands food and the waitress if you can call her that did nothing but say she told the kitchen, so Im not quite sure how that was supposed to help us. I only gave it a 3 so far. I happened to find this place on foot. Very new. However, the sign & the Website said they opened at 11 a.m. I tried the door and locked. Waited until after 11 a.m. I called and the voicemail was not set up. I left, however, I saw that it has other locations and Ill try another time. I love this kind of food.
