I was enrolled in the full stack web development course from September 2023 through February 2023. It was a FANTASTIC experience. The curriculum is challenging, but necessary to prep for on-the-job experiences. Also, every instructor is attentive and helpful in guiding students down the right path during class. I also participated in a post program workshop where students were given feedback and assistance during our job search.I had a great experience here and would strongly recommend anyone considering a coding boot camp to put LearningFuze at the top of their list.

My experience at LearningFuze’s Data Science course was extremely positive. As someone new to the field, LearningFuze offered a safe space to have a beginners mind, be introduced to new ideas, and ask questions without judgement.Zia, the head instructor, is an extremely knowledgeable practitioner. More importantly for the bootcamp, he is an excellent teacher. He helps you understand the big picture ideas before the code, empathizes with students grasping new concepts, and is very patient.Sam, the co-instructor, had a ton of knowledge in statistics. He introduced our class to complex concepts, and helped distill them down in implementation.Frank, the Data coach, furthered the support system and was readily available to discuss his experience in the field and prepared to help with technical Machine Learning questions.My cohort was a few students, and the ratio of students:instructors was tremendous. The physical facility is well equipped and readily accessible even outside of class hours. The program managers Annalicia & Jessie were always welcoming and open to ensuring we were having a positive experience. All in all, I am grateful to have learned a tremendous amount about Data Science in high level way. I left with a GitHub full of projects, and feel well prepared to move forward in the exciting field of Data Science. Thank you LearningFuze!

After researching between bootcamps and hearing positive reviews from 2 other friends, I felt the most confident in LearningFuze.This was around when COVID first hit so LFZ was in a transitional period. The info session gave me the most reassurance because the rep was hella personable, informative and didnt pressure me at all. Their confidence in the quality of the program stayed consistent throughout my experience and gradually was instilled into me. My instructor was an absolute gem of a human to learn from: professional but easygoing, empathetic, funny, and most importantly, had a wealth of knowledge.My concerns for post career services were also reassured. With any bootcamp, your results are a reflection of the effort you put in. Best believe you have to work your butt off. That being said, the amount of post grad support Ive received is borderline overwhelming. The job search is expected to be tough, but the support and genuinely amazing people Ive networked with would never have happened if it werent for the LFZ staff. I have professional work under my belt now and am best believe that momentums not stopping. I sound like a broken record for constantly thanking them, and will shamelessly continue to do so.

LearningFuze’s part time web development program has been and continues to be an amazing learning experience. This program has been well thought out and includes in-demand technologies. I really appreciate that they offer this part time program, as it has allowed me to continue working full time while also pursuing my goals in web development. The instructors and staff are all amazing and truly care about their students, you can tell they they genuinely want you to succeed and help you every step of the way, including amazing career services. The program is intense and takes a lot of dedicated time and effort, but that’s exactly the way it should be and I’m grateful for it! I would definitely recommend LearningFuze to anyone who is serious about their goals and excited to learn!

Having recently completed LearningFuzes 14-week full-stack coding bootcamp, I can confidently say that this program is the real deal.From the very first day, I was blown away by the staff and instructors dedication to helping every student succeed. They were always available to answer questions and provide feedback, and they genuinely care about our success.One thing that really stood out to me about LearningFuze was their flipped or inverted curriculum. This unique approach to learning allowed me to get hands-on experience working on real-world projects, and then discuss and review them with the instructors and other students. We were taught how to learn by using documentation and other resources. It was a fantastic way to really understand and solidify what we were learning.The curriculum itself was comprehensive and covered all of the essential skills and tools needed to become a successful full-stack developer. It was challenging, but the instructors were always there to provide support and encouragement when needed.Perhaps what I appreciate most about LearningFuze is their emphasis on career development. They provide us with personalized career coaching, mock interviews and job placement assistance, which is really helping me feel confident and prepared for the job market. I did an extensive amount of research into coding boot camps before ultimately going all in on LearningFuze. It wasnt that the other boot camps I visited were bad, it was that LearningFuze was just that good. I cant recommend their full-immersion program enough. The culture theyve built with their insanely knowledgeable instructors really makes the 12-14 hour days enjoyable. Dan, the lead instructor, is able to break everything down to a very learnable level and makes sure everyone has full understanding of difficult concepts before proceeding. But be warned, the program is extremely rigorous and will push you to your limits. If youre on the fence, I highly recommend taking their two introductory root courses to get a feel for development.If youre serious about starting a career in development, I always recommend doing your own research but LearningFuzes reputation as the best boot camp in California is real and they deserve to be at the top of your list.

I am on 11th week of 14 week program and I am pleasantly surprised at how much I was able to learn in the short amount of time that was in the program. Even if you have limited coding experience, LearningFuze offers a prep course to help you establish a strong foundation!LearningFuze is a top-notch coding bootcamp. The program is designed to prepare students for the tech world, with excellent career services and dedicated instructors. LearningFuze is a great place to learn coding and to get a taste of what its like to work in a web development environment. All the tools and languages they teach students are what companies are currently using. The curriculum changes to keep up with what is relevant. It is a full time commitment like a standard 9-5 job but the effort is well worth it. Not only do they teach you coding, they also teach you how to build your resume and interview skills to help you succeed after the course is done.It may seem intimidating at first if you havent had much coding experience prior to the program like myself, but the instructors are super helpful and the prep-course prior to the programs official start date is highly recommended to build your foundation!

The curriculum is incredibly thorough and is designed for students to apply and retain new skills. I want to start off by saying that all of the staff at LearningFuze is amazing. Something I really liked about LearningFuze from the very beginning was that they offer many resources even before the start of the program. I first attended their info session to learn more and was encouraged to sign up for the 2-week prep course (both free). The 2 week-prep course really gave me an insight into how the program would be structured and after its completion, there was no doubt in my mind about attending the full-time web development course. The instructors Cody and Tim were always incredibly helpful and made the learning process even more fun. In addition, LearningFuze really helps you prepare for the job market through mock interviews and resume building.

I attended LearningFuzes part time remote classes for the last 10-months and I have been very impressed! The course work progresses at a steady pace, you will find you need to do some work outside of class but it was very manageable and their was almost always someone available to help if you get stuck. The professors were all very knowledgable and passionate about coding and, while they didnt hesitate to help out, found a balance where you were also learning on your own.Im just finishing up my final project and have only touched the tip of the employment experience, I have already had a great time with the LearningFuze job assistance. Ive had 2 mock interviews with feedback and next steps as well as resume and LinkedIn reviews.If youre looking for a career change and want to check out coding I would highly recommend LearningFuze (they also have a free 2-week intro course if your still on the fence).

I graduated from LearningFuzes Full Immersion program, and I cant believe how far I have come in just a few months! I went from not knowing hardly anything about web development to feeling confident I can succeed anywhere as a developer! LearningFuze is constantly reviewing and changing their curriculum so that their students will be equipped with the tools and technologies that are popular today. They structure their program to simulate a work environment similar to how junior and senior developers communicate and work together. There were definitely long days of coding, but I loved every second of it, and every assignment is fun and exciting. The instructors are incredibly helpful and explain topics really well. Throughout the program they have dedicated career advisors that help you set up your LinkedIn profile, resume, GitHub, and portfolio. They will also do mock interviews with you and give you feed back and tips. Along with all of that, they have a great alumni network and are constantly bringing guest speakers in every couple of weeks to share tips and their experiences in their jobs or in the job searching process. It was definitely worth the money and time, definitely one of the best decisions of my life!

From learning how to set up an HTML skeleton to building a full-stack application that you design and build yourself using React, Node.js, Javascript, and more, the learning that is accomplished within the 14 weeks at LearningFuze is an incredible experience. All of the instructors and staff have been wonderful to work with. They are fully there to help their students, are extremely knowledgeable, and their passion clearly shines through in all that they do. The course is set up to simulate a real world working environment which means that you will get to experience being a junior software engineer and learn how to use Git as well as to ask for help from your instructors using Slack. Class is set up to be like a flipped classroom where you as the student get to read about and work with a programming topic first before coming together as a class to go over and discuss it. The system worked wonders and you are able to learn so much so quickly and be able to actually apply what youve learned to build your own projects. You are also given career support and will have a well build resume and LinkedIn by the end of the program. Even after the 14 weeks though, your time with LearningFuze and instructors does not end there. They are always there to provide support for their students, even after graduating the program. I am very grateful for being able to attend the Remote Web Development Bootcamp at LearningFuze. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into Web Development.

I’d been interested in code for awhile and had been doing my best to take advantage of all the free online resources available, but eventually realized that if I wanted to pursue a career in web development I would need to take it a step further. Did a ton of research on coding bootcamps - both in the Southern California area as well as those that offered remote classes - but kept coming back to LearningFuze. The fact that they offered a free 2 week prep course with no strings attached really sealed the deal for me that LearningFuze would be the right place to take my learning to the next level.I’ve been in the full immersion course for the last several months and it has been such an amazing experience - but definitely good to know what you’re getting into. If you’re expecting to just show up to class everyday, do the minimal amount of work and somehow be a web development expert at the end, then I don’t think LearningFuze (or probably any coding bootcamp) is for you. But if you’re willing to put in the work and time, LearningFuze has a ton of resources that can really help propel you on the right path. Both of my instructors were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with what they taught and you could tell that they both loved to teach which made class something I looked forward to everyday. Course is broken up into a series of exercises, challenges and projects that help teach new concepts, challenge you to prove that you understand those concepts and then implement your new knowledge into real projects that you can show off. By the 4th week of class we were already designing our first project, and by the 8th week we’d already designed and built our first apps. So as long as your willing to work hard and take advantage of all the resources they offer you, LearningFuze is a wonderful place to learn how to code. Can’t recommend it enough!

I have been surprised with the rigor that has gone into developing the curriculum at LearningFuze. It is hard but quite worth the effort. You will notice very quickly that the instructors at LFZ are there to help people change their lives. What sets LearningFuze apart from other programs is simple - the community and the learning methodology. From the very beginning, even from the info session I could tell that the instructors cared that their students gained an appreciation and hunger for learning itself. Regardless of what technologies we were to learn, it was important that they foster that sense of intuitive willingness and passion to learn as much as possible. More than just landing a high-paying gig, the program emphasizes the lifelong commitment to craving knowledge and growth. Programming is about tenacity and willpower; those who succeed are the ones who dont give up. While in the full-immersion program I was tested to my limits as I dove into the universe of information covered - but at every step the instructors, my fellow cohort-mates and the alumni community were there for support. The great thing about LearningFuze is that the program is not over after graduation. There is a strong community among alumni who continue to support each other by providing information, knowledge and even inside job opportunities. LearningFuze also provides constant career support post-graduation, which was one of the key factors as to how I landed my first job after the program. Joining the program does not mean you can sit back, attend lectures for 12 weeks then by working by the 13th; it takes intense mental willpower and courage to make the transition into the new field. But LearningFuze is the perfect environment to foster this sense of growth and I do not regret my choice to attend.

Highly recommend the in-person full-stack web dev program! I had no prior experience with coding, so I wanted support and guidance from an accessible instructor and wanted to be in a productive working environment. Although the course emulates a professional working environment (most communication during class time is done via Slack), the camaraderie and rapport I built with classmates and the instructors during breaks helped my morale and momentum through this rigorous program. After only 14 weeks, Im amazed that I can build a functional webpage on my own with tools and languages that I didnt even know the names of before I began my journey into coding! Tim and Cody are exceptional instructors. They are approachable, patient, and care about their students leaving the program with the confidence to learn anything. They teach you how to learn! No boring lectures, no busy work. Every assignment is meant to guide your thought process and build habits to solve any problem. Andreana and Casey in Career Services also are invaluable resources to help you prep your LinkedIn, interview skills, and resume for job readiness! The program goes by FAST and will probably be the only thing you do for 14 weeks. But if you can get comfortable with being uncertain, wrong, and tinkering with tools and concepts that you dont fully understand in the moment, trust the process and invest in yourself by enrolling in this life-changing experience!

I was exposed to the world of coding from my work as a Client Service Administrator and started learning on my own time. Eventually, I felt like I was able to make better progress if I was in a dedicated learning environment, which lead me to looking into different boot camps. The instructors were more than helpful and instead of just giving me the answers, helped guide me in the right direction so that I can eventually reach my own conclusions. Recently finished the 14 week full immersion program and it was genuinely an amazing experience! The things we are capable of learning in such a short period of time if you apply yourself and give it your all, its unbelievable. The program is fairly intense and itll take a lot of dedication if you truly want to make the most of it, however, it just comes down to how much effort youre willing to put in. That being said, the LearningFuze curriculum system, learning environment, and staff are one of a kind. They dont just teach you how to code, they mimic a real working environment and provide you with the additional tools and resources needed to be a hirable employee. This bootcamp is special and I cant express how lucky I was to enroll here. If you are able, I recommend doing the in-person full immersion program. Although, the online course is also great, I think going in person just adds another layer that can only be beneficial to this learning experience.

Around May of 2020 I decided to learn Web Development. I started with Python, then moved to HTML and CSS, always learning on my own with books and online courses. This was great at first, but as time went own I felt I didnt have a concrete plan to land my first job. I noticed I had the desire to learn, but not the structure to achieve my goal. I did not know what to focus on and the amount on information available on the internet was overwhelming.I then set a couple of parameters to pick the ideal bootcamp, which was: overall price, financing options, course length, full-stack web developer curriculum and career services. After a couple of weeks researching different coding bootcamps, I came across LearningFuze which fitted all my requirements. However, due to the new remote setting I was a bit nervous on the learning process and its effectiveness. After attending the 2 week online prep-course I felt very confident that LearningFuze was the right decision.LearningFuzes curriculum has great exercises that will make the learning process much smoother, creating building blocks to solidify the information. The several challenges and projects are created to test your knowledge and gives you a practical experience of what the tech industry will expect of you. I attended the 2-week LFZ Prep Course at LearningFuze Coding Bootcamp which covered the core concepts of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS in depth. What I appreciated most about my experience was the accessibility to instructors like Cody who would be ready to clarify any questions I had. The experiences that I have had at LearningFuze are unlike anything Ive ever had in a traditional education system. Theyve exceeded my expectations in every way, and shown me that its possible for anyone to program if they put their mind to it.The 12 week full immersion program has been a whirlwind to say the least. The curriculum is heavily focused on teaching programming fundamentals to ensure that every student has a solid foundation to learn and grow. The support system is great, and the staff genuinely wants every student to succeed. The staff encourages constant curiosity and critical thinking to further your understanding of programming as a whole. The program is challenging, but you will always have support from the staffl, and your cohort-mates.I found that the program is a great mixture of guidance/structure and creative freedom. There are projects and exercises designed to teach you how to approach different programming principles, but they also allow you to take the ideas you have and run with them. When youre learning new things and realizing your potential, the world is your oyster. Additionally, I particularly liked the tech stack that LearningFuze focuses on, as it is relevant to what companies in the area are looking for.Lastly, I think one of the most important aspects that someone should consider when it comes to selecting a bootcamp are the career services. This is why I ended up choosing LearningFuze over other bootcamps in the area. They offer robust career services that you probably wont find with other bootcamps. Bill and TJ make it a point that yes, the technical part of the bootcamp is a large portion of what youre paying for, but you will never get hired if you cannot land an interview. The ultimate goal is to be employed as a developer or engineer, and they know that. They regularly have workshops for LinkedIn profiles, resume writing, mock interviews, etc. to teach you what employers are looking for and how you should approach searching for a job. I recently graduated from LearningFuzes full immersion program (June 2019) and absolutely, 100% recommend making LearningFuze the place where you begin your journey into development.I had been working in non-profit for the past 9 years with no prior experience of coding and wanted to be sure that Id be at a place that would help build a strong foundation. I did a lot of research through many review sites and saw so many alumni of LearningFuze consistently write about how passionate the instructors are and how they foster a positive (yet, challenging) environment for growth. I went to an evening info session to get a feel for the culture and made my decision to sign up when I saw just how much the staff really cares for each individual student.The instruction is fast-paced and challenging because theres a lot of content to go through, but the instructors always put a premium on understanding the content rather than just dumping information. I found it incredibly helpful that every time we received new content during lecture, that there was always a prototype/exercise that we would immediately work on to be sure that we understood what we learned. Plus, we had two, 48-hour hackathons where we would have to complete different projects that simulated a team-environment with an AGILE process and real-time Git/GitHub that really helped put into practice everything we had been learning.During the second half of the program, we dove deeper into server-side topics so that we could complete a 3-week, full stack final project. I cant say it enough, but the emphasis on project-based learning pushed me from just knowledge to practical understanding and execution of the myriad of concepts we learned.I love how LearningFuze fosters an environment for growth with driven and motivated peers and many of us would regularly stay after hours to cement our learning together and instructors would be present to help us. On top of that, the staff are constantly up-to-date to be sure youre getting the most relevant content and tech that will prepare you best for the job search.Im thankful for the staff at LearningFuze because undertake an honest and transparent process where they strive to be sure each student has great competency and character that makes a great web developer, great.

I attended LearningFuze starting at the end of April in 2018. It was the most exhausting, but the most rewarding and fulfilling 12 weeks of my life, and has completely transformed the direction of my professional life, and by that factor, everything else as well. I came into LearningFuze with no real coding background, but from a strong understanding of web as a whole(I was previously a Project Manager at a web agency). Id been super interested in transitioning to coding for a while, and decided to find out more.I went in to attend one of their info sessions and was really impressed by their honesty about what it takes to succeed in the program, and that its all about how much it matters to you. A lot of places like to try and sell their programs as No matter what, we will get you a job with lots of money! But that is just simply not true, and the LearningFuze team is very upfront about the fact that you get out what you put in. I appreciated that to no end. I was also a big fan of the environment. The students were all really friendly when I stopped to ask them how they liked the program, the instructors were happy to answer any questions I had, and it was pretty clear a lot of people there shared a lot of my more geeky interests, so that made me feel really comfortable. I was really impressed and decided to pursue the 12 week full stack bootcamp option.Even though for most of the 12 weeks you feel like you are drowning in information, the entire staff is focused on helping you juggle that and making sure you are able to process through everything that you are learning, be it through additional tutoring sessions, or answering questions that you know they have been asked a million times, without ever making you feel bad about asking them for help.Despite a lot of previous not so great experiences in tech as a female, I was very happily surprised that the atmosphere was one where I felt very comfortable. I didnt feel like I was being treated with less respect, and I didnt feel like anyone thought I was less capable because I was female. The instructors cared about each students success, not about gender or race, which was a very refreshing change. It allowed me to focus on learning, instead of having to watch every little thing I did so people wouldnt judge me for being female.After graduation, they were incredibly helpful with career placement. They helped me with building out a solid portfolio and gave great advice about resume adjustments, how to network, and how to handle interviewing for jobs with my new skills. They were also fantastic about helping promote alumni as well, which ended up being how I found my current position.Ive been with that company for 6 months now, have gotten the opportunity to work with a lot of great new technologies and great clients, and I just got promoted to an Assistant Lead position. My experience at LearningFuze is what made all of this possible. Because of the dedication and focus from the entire staff to help me maximize what I was capable of, I was able to learn a huge number of new skills in a very accelerated time and build a solid base for understanding how to continue learning quickly. All of those things combined with my previous work experience have made it possible for me to have a great career trajectory so far, and its given me something to pursue as a career that I actually love.If youre really serious about pursuing a web development career, I would strongly recommend LearningFuze. Currently, I am still in the program, but, I have to say, its the best learning experience in my life.I have been in the sales and management field for the last 12 years, and I have always wanted to step into the IT industry with programming experience. LearningFuze not only teaches me the most job-related coding knowledge and skills, but it also creates a job-alike environment for students to be involved like real web developers and engineers. During the last 10 weeks of curriculum, I have learned the most useful front-end and back-end languages and tools, and we have built more than five comprehensive projects involving HTML, CSS, AJAX, Node.js and etc.Besides their curriculum, LearningFuzes job assistance is amazing as well. My development journey actually started in March 2019. I decided I wanted to learn how to code and get a job in web development after talking through it with a friend in the industry. I started by first using online resources (freecodecamp, full stack udemy courses, etc) and made it through a couple months and learned a lot. However, I quickly got bogged down by the breadth of libraries/frameworks out there. Where do I begin? I then found LearningFuze as a top coding bootcamp in Orange County, read reviews, and visited during one of their info meetings. I could tell the environment was the kind of place I wanted to be. At the time, I was working full-time and couldnt afford the full-time bootcamp, so I started part time and made it through 3 of the 5 modules. I was LOVING every minute of it... but still felt like I wasnt getting the most out of the experience by not giving it 100% of my attention. After long talks with my spouse and saving up some money, I transferred to the full immersion program in February 2020. It was an amazing experience to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, being able to ask questions from instructors and other developers, and building projects that I was proud of and wanting to show to friends and family. It was difficult, and definitely a lot to take in at times... but by the last couple weeks of the course, I had the confidence to research new libraries and frameworks and learn them without any instructor-led exercises. It was also really good to know I had their support and could ask them questions about what I was learning and they always could either guide me to the solution or help me find the answer. The other aspect of the program that I loved (that I feel doesnt get mentioned enough) is the fact that they build career prep, mock interviews, getting your LinkedIn and professional brand up and running as you go through the program. You get opportunities to network with developers, companies, recruiters, and other people during lunch and learns, webinars, and other events as well. There is constant support throughout the whole journey. Even in the midst of COVID-19, my cohort had to make the unique transition from in-person to remote in the middle of our program. The transition to meeting on zoom was smooth, the staff had a game plan before the stay at home orders were in effect, and we were able to absorb the material without any loss of quality. If you join today, rest assured you will be getting the same quality experience remote as you would in-person. The staff at LearningFuze are top notch. Every one of them knows your name, invests in you, and really wants you to succeed. I just finished the full-time curriculum and my cohort still gets together every day on slack and zoom to keep each other accountable through stand ups or just to help each other as we work on our portfolios and begin the job search. Attending LearningFuze was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I do not regret any of it. If you have a strong drive to learn and passion to get into development, I cant recommend this place enough!

As someone who is credentialed in secondary education, I can wholeheartedly say the instructors and curriculum at LearningFuze are head and shoulders above their competition. Many of their practices I wish I could have brought to my own classroom. Not only do they teach you to code, they refine your ability to teach yourself. Both my instructors Cody and Tim were thoroughly knowledgeable about the technology we were learning and were capable of guiding me in every step of my education, but they also empowered me to learn on my own to practice how learning will be once Im in the industry. The curriculum promoted this, helping you better understand industry documentation instead of watering down difficult concepts.And throughout my instruction, LearningFuzes career services helped me put together a strong resume and advised me with how to best approach the job search, an area that I personally have struggled with. Cass especially has put in extra effort to provide individual feedback on my resume and to coach me around job interviews. TJ has also been pivotal in my career choices. He was willing to set up meetings for me to speak with web developers and data scientists when I was trying to decide on which career to pursue, and this was before I even enrolled at LearningFuze. You’ve got to put in the work. If you’re looking for a place to grow with people who treat you like a human being because they understand just how tough the process can be on you, then, LearningFuze is the right place for you.It will not allow you live by copying and pasting other people’s work or have answers handed to you in every situation. You do learn by doing but you’re also giving practice challenges that test your abilities to problem solve and to keep learning within and outside the classroom, giving you the necessary nudge out of your comfort zone.The job search is very similar to the in-class training. You will be armed with skills and prepared for the job search but you still have to apply to the jobs and go through the interviews as you’ll come to realize that you’re in competition with quite a number of software developers too.The best part, all the learnings and skill training are things you need in the real world and remain relevant even after landing a job. I recently graduated from the Full Immersion program, and I would 100% recommend LearningFuze to any prospective students. Over a year ago, I started considering my career pivot from digital marketing into web development, and LearningFuze was one of the schools that stood out to me while researching online. I read a bunch of reviews, started to teach myself with free tutorials, and finally attended an info session in January. I got to see for myself how honest, genuine, and dedicated the LFZ staff are towards visitors, students, and alumni alike! I felt no pressure to choose them, but they are wholly there for you in your decision making process and beyond. I joined the two prep classes to get a feel for their teaching style and to gauge my own readiness for the full immersion program, and I dove in shortly after that!The following 12 weeks brought a tidal wave of new material, constant challenge, and personal growth. Going into the program, I knew I wanted an efficient/fast-paced learning environment, mentorship, and like-minded peers, and thats what I got from day 1. Every week ramps up in intensity, building on the knowledge and practice from the previous week. In lectures, we were encouraged to engage with the instructor and discover our blind spots as quickly as possible. In solo projects, we applied that weeks core concepts while given opportunities to stretch our toolset a bit more each time. We also had two exhilarating 48-hour hackathons for practicing real-world skills around Git/GitHub workflows, working on a team, and planning/tracking project tasks. And in the final 3 weeks of the program, we were split into teams to build full stack applications--with one instructor assigned to each one as project manager. The job hunt is also emphasized throughout the program with lectures on networking, proper use of LinkedIn, and resume prep, as well as practice whiteboards and mock interviews. Every step of the way, you are surrounded by classmates to struggle (and celebrate!) with and can laugh together about the growing pains we all experience as beginners.All that being said, its really true that you get what you put in. I can see why people say that a strong foundation is critical, because it is on that foundation that we will continue to hone our skills and pick up new technologies more quickly. Review core concepts regularly, dont neglect the practice problems, and ask questions often! Programming really takes persistence and a willingness to be frustrated over and over again, but those happy moments when you finally understand a concept or successfully debug your code are so worth it!If you are still on the fence, Id recommend visiting the campus for an info session and voicing any concerns with the staff and current students/alumni. To be completely honest, joining LearningFuze (LFZ) was the best decision I made since walking off stage with my Masters degree in January 2020. The program is definitely challenging and intense; however, if you want to join a coding bootcamp for x amount of months it is more than expected to be so! Everything in the program is catered for the students. This includes the curriculum carefully created and updated by the instructors to get you ready to continue your journey in web development. There is a unique career services aspect with a dedicated amount of time to help you show your best self on a resume or on your portfolio. The instructors are very knowledgeable with a surplus of years of experience who keep your interest at heart. They care and want you to succeed and it shows.I would say I spent over 10 hours/day, 7 days a week for the entirety of the program to work on exercises/challenges/projects and study documentation to remember older material learned early on in the program. Other time was spent keeping up with my networks and going to meetups within the LFZ community.There is a lot that goes into the program, whether it be from your time, energy, or mental capacity; however, the outcome and payoff is worth every minute.

Probably similar to many others out there looking at bootcamps, I was skeptical about the idea of a bootcamp. Do they work? Will this help me land a job as a developer?Before attending LearningFuze, I had been researching different bootcamps in the area. When I attended one of LearningFuzes info sessions, something immediately stood out to me compared to other bootcamps I had been researching previously -- the staff. Everyone at LearningFuze was super welcoming and is there to help you succeed, give you the tools you need to become a great developer, and ultimately, land a job.With that said, they are not there to do the work for you, and you will have to work your butt off to get the results you want. Scheduled class time was from 10 to about 6, but it wasnt unusual for people to stay until midnight working on projects or assignments especially during Final Project Mode. However, if youre willing to do that, then I have full confidence youll land a gig in no time.The program is great for people who have never experienced coding before, but I definitely recommend going through basics before attending as I think youll be able to get more out of the program that way, and be able to ask more thoughtful questions about things you dont quite understand.The team also does a great job at preparing you for the job search. I just graduated this past February and was able to land an offer in LA within a few months . They helped me negotiate my salary and land a nice bonus on top =)This program was one of the best experiences and decisions of my life, and I give credit to my cohort mates, and the folks at LFZ for that.

I looked at a number of coding bootcamps in the area and chose LearningFuze because of the open and friendly environment. My decision was based on 1) I knew that I would put more time and effort into coding in an environment that I felt comfortable in and 2) After the program I would need my coding schools help to find a job and their mentorship thereafter. LearningFuze was a great fit for both of these reasons.Not only does the school have long hours - 9AM-ish to late - they are also open Monday-Saturday. As expected, I spent most of the daytime soaking up new information and the nights and weekends working on projects. The classrooms are comfortable. They have desks large monitors and couch space. I looked forward to going to LearningFuze and did not mind spending long hours there.LearningFuze has an alumni room where students can work on their portfolios and apply to jobs. After the course I was there everyday. The staff does a great job of prepping you for interviews and connecting you with potential employers. I got my first internship through a LearningFuze connection and am now onto my second job where I will be building out the front end for a fintech startup. I still keep in touch with the LearningFuze staff and alumni network.

I was impressed with LearningFuze bootcamp before I even started my first day of the program. They wanted to see if I was serious and ready because they didn’t want me to feel unprepared for a course that packs a ton of information into a 14-week period. I had a zoom interview with a career counselor and a phone call with the Director of Operations before joining the program. Having talked to them, I could tell that they wanted me to succeed in this program and way after the completion of the course. That gave me a great first impression and I could tell they really cared.An amazing aspect about the program is their career services. Throughout my time here, we have had more than a handful of sessions talking about what we need to do to land that job we’re pursuing. The staff here is really doing their best to prepare us for interviews and the job search. They really want me to succeed in my career in coding and it shows.I have just finished up the 9th week of the program and I can say that I have learned so much in such a short amount of time. So far we have learned HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Flexbox, Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, and even more. Next week I’ll be learning React and I’m pumped for it. This program genuinely has me excited about learning new programs and languages. It’s in part due to the great instructors at LearningFuze. They make the learning experience fun and exciting. Whenever stuck, they are always there to help out. They also don’t just give you the answer to make it easy. They really make me think about what is going on in the code so that I understand it. The instructors really ingrain the information into our minds. Honestly, this has been the best learning experience I have ever had. The Instructors and staff really want to see you succeed! The passion that everyone has is so contagious and motivating. I was able to go through the remote full-immersion program with instructors Brett and Scott, and honestly, it was challenging but super rewarding. They know that learning to code is difficult, and they get it because theyve been through it too. They make the process of learning fun and relatable. After the 14 weeks (16 weeks, if you include the prep course), I built two projects that Im super proud of. But the best part is that it doesnt end once youre finished.After finishing the 14 weeks, Cassandra and Tj helped so much in the job hunt. From sending resume revisions, doing mock interviews, and just being there for you. They are fantastic and always wanting to see how youre doing. While I still talk to some of my cohort friends, the funny thing is that I still talk to Brett and Scott even after the program and ask questions, and they are still happy to help. About me: I didnt know anything about coding before the program. Graduating from the program is the most difficult but also the most rewarding thing I have done in my life. Starting taking online prep courses in January, took the LFZ Prep Courses in March, started the full-immersion program in April, and graduated in July. I have finished my portfolio and currently in the job search, I just finished my third interview through a referral.Bottom Line: The LearningFuze full-immersion program is the best decision I have ever made, but also know that its the hardest thing I have ever accomplished. The instructors and lessons are TOP-NOTCH, they are all incredibly well versed in the technology and love teaching it, and they will support you! You get out exactly as much as you put in, but you also need to take the initiative to ask for support when you need it. The career-guidance and job-search process is baked into the program, so although instruction is only for 3 months, the program truly doesnt end until you find a job. Also, my cohort was the first full-remote cohort due to COVID-19, but being remote wasnt even an issue in learning. I do have to admit that building camaraderie with my cohort mates was challenging since we are not around each other all the time (they do host online social events like saturday afternoon games, and our cohort hosted lunch time games each week), but it was nice not having a 40 mile daily commute, so there are pros and cons, but I feel like I was able to learn just as effectively as an in-person program.The LFZ website does a wonderful job of informing you what the full-immersion program is like and the topics you will be learning, so instead of going over what I learned as an engineer, I want to focus on what I learned about myself and my personal journey in the program. Mental health is a determining factor of my success. I actually wanted to repeat the first half of the program over because I was feeling overwhelming anxiety coming into the second half, and I am so glad that LFZ provided the support I needed to change my perspective, gain confidence, problem solve like an engineer, and finish the program.LearningFuze is an amazing program that provides you the material and support necessary to soak in a TON of information and use the technology in a very short amount of time, and to find a job. But it’s a two way street, you will also need to put in everything you got to not just succeed, but to be proud of the work you put in and the apps you developed, and then even more work on top of that to be confident in explaining how your apps work and be successful in the job search. I’m very happy with my experiences in LearningFuze, I’m ready to keep on embracing the struggle and work on the next part of my job search process, and highly recommend this program to everyone who is on the fence of joining a web-dev boot camp.

When I first decided to go to a bootcamp I was very very skeptical of how anyone would be able to find a developer job after such a short period of time. I was about to spend a lot of money on something that might be hit or miss which was a big risk for me especially because I have a family with 2 young kids. After reading tons of reviews and visiting a few campuses, I decided to enroll at LearningFuze.The main reason I chose LearningFuze was because I didnt feel like they were trying to sell me something. They didnt have the flashiest campus or as many cool amenities as some other bootcamps but they were honest and real with me. They didnt try to wow me on how Im going to make so much money after finishing. They showed me real stats (about the job market and their alumni) and were honest about starting salaries for developers in OC and what it was really like trying to find a job after graduating. Another reason I chose LearningFuze was that they have one campus in Irvine and they have many connections and alumni in that area. I wanted to work in OC and I wanted to go to a bootcamp that gave me the best chances of staying there.The instructors and staff at LearningFuze are great and really try to be there for you. Not only did I learn a lot during the program but after I graduated they were always just a quick slack message away while I was building my portfolio and looking for a job. They have a great culture at LearningFuze and they do a good job of finding other students who are motivated and want to learn so that we can elevate each other.So for anyone who wants to go to LearningFuze, youll be making a great investment but be prepared to put in the work. For me, doing EVERYTHING the instructors wanted me to do was a MINIMUM. I would come to class early, code all day, make time to eat dinner with my family, say goodnight to my kids and code until at least midnight EVERY SINGLE DAY. As I became more interested and wanting to change my career towards a path in web development, I knew the best approach to become a developer quickly would be attending a bootcamp. A few years ago, I had a couple friends who went through the full-immersion course, and they would not stop talking about how amazing the program was. They would constantly say, It was a life-changing experience. After only being in the program for 8 weeks now, I have to say I agree completely with that statement.Not only do they prepare you with all the knowledge you need to jumpstart a career in web development, they go above and beyond with their career services. They provide presentations about the importance of LinkedIn, and how to utilize it correctly to grow your network. You learn how to create a resume specifically tailored to the tech industry, which provides more opportunities to land an interview. You engage in mock interviews so you can receive direct feedback that will help you in your job search after the program.All in all, everything from the curriculum to the instructors, to even just the overall atmosphere of the classroom is downright incredible. Every single person I have engaged with has been thoughtful, incredibly helpful, and just an overall joy to engage with. Even with the classes being remote due to COVID-19, the quality of education and the amount of help you get from the instructors and TAs are top-notch. Attending LearningFuze has been an incredible learning experience, and if you decide to pursue the bootcamp, you will definitely be in good hands. The staff go above and beyond in trying to help you succeed. If youre having trouble in the program, they go the extra mile to do whatever they can to help and support you. Once you start the bootcamp, it definitely feels like a train that keeps on going, but LFZ makes sure to foster an environment that allows you to enjoy what youre learning even when the difficulty ramps up. I graduated from LearningFuze 6 weeks ago.I enrolled in the full-immersion course.Please let me share you with you what I think is special about this Bootcamp.Career service: LearningFuze has a magical event called demo-day. After your portfolios get approved, you are qualified to it. It is an event that Lfz helps you connect directly to employers. As the oldest and the most successful Bootcamp in SoCal, lfz has a very strong connection to local tech companies. At demo day, local companies come to you, talk to you, and check out your projects. You can see it as an express line to an offer, which is much better than applying online. TJ Kinion puts so much effort to keep demo-day ongoing. Many many students, include me, got their first offer through this event.Post-graduation time: You signed the contract with them that you will be a student there for 3 months. But after you graduate, you are more than welcomed staying in. LearningFuze set up an alumni room for graduates, where you can continue work on your portfolio and projects. You can still access all the instructors. They will help you just like they always did during the course.Cohort: After 3 months, friendship among cohort mates developed deeply. More than that, I get close with my previous, next cohort and even some alumni graduated a long time ago. I have to say, students in lfz just have class. Learning code is hard. But it is fun when you are with persons that have the same passion and goal as you. You wont feel lonely or lost when intelligent students are around you and grow together with you. You will make some life-long friends in this school.Course curriculum: they know what local tech company needs, and they design the course adapting that requirements. You learn what the industry is looking for. Besides that, they take feedback and update in each cohort. For example, my previous cohort didnt have enough time to dive deep into Redux, so they didnt cover that in my cohort, instead, they focus more on core React. For my cohort, students showed great interest in Node.js, so my next cohort, they support students to build the final project in Node. They do listen to students and change their content to make us happier. Tim.D, one of the lead instructors there, he creates his own materials, which is pure awesome. He knows what you know, you dont know and your think pattern. He doesnt only deliver knowledge but teach you competency to think like a programmer.My overall experience is amazing. Actually, it turned out than I expected. It is a high-quality program that you wont be regretted to enroll in.

I attended this bootcamp after multiple colleagues of mine recommended it to me and got their start as software engineers themselves. I loved the whole experience as the instructors go above and beyond just teaching the curriculum. Every mentor is knowledgable, personable, and eager to share their expertise so they can push you to be the best developer you can be. They truly care about the success of their students and it shows. The coursework is challenging but it is never anything out of your potential. If you are bouncing between bootcamps trying to decide which way to go, do yourself a favor and at least attend the info session. Attending the info session also gives you free access to the two-week prep course, so you can really check if this program is for you. I want to share my positive experiences at the LearningFuze boot-camp, of which I completed 60%. Although I could comment favorably on many aspects of the program, I will focus on two that were the most beneficial to me.First, in my extensive talks with TJ Kinion at the info session and during my entrance interview, I did not encounter any hard-sell tactics, which made an incredibly positive impression on me. Also, I felt that all the questions which I had regarding the program were answered without deception such as, tailoring the answers to what I would want to hear. The result was that I did not encounter any unpleasant surprises once I started the program.The second experience was the absolute unswerving devotion of the entire LearningFuze staff to the success of each student. Each staff member is determined to bring out the best in each student, and not settle for anything less. The instructors deserve special mention for always answering questions with endless patience, both during open-class time and through private messaging. All this makes learning so much more enjoyable and productive. In conclusion, I can attest to the statement that I have seen others write “The people at LearningFuze are real people” which in my opinion sums it all up. I am extremely grateful to all of them for what they have done for me.

Learning Fuze is very thorough in their curriculum, they provide you with all the tools you will need to be a Full Stack Web Developer. The instructors are there to help you every step of the way and there are provided TAs after hours to help out! Learning Fuze has taught me not only the syntax and concepts of JavaScript, but also how to think like a programmer - problem solving for solutions. Towards the end of the cohort, the staff at LFZ help out tremendously to prepare you to be job ready. They help you build a resume and then put you through mock interviews to prepare you for the job market.I would recommend Learning Fuze to anyone that is interested in a programming career in general.

I have just completed my 12-week immersion course with LearningFuze and it has changed my life. I have always been interested in coding and learning various languages but had little development experience outside of copying code and pasting it hoping it would work. Now that I have gone through the 12-week immersion program I have been able to write multiple apps by myself as well as various team centered apps.The biggest difference between LearningFuze and other programs that I investigated was that LearningFuze takes the time to get to know you and your skills and then helps you gear up for the full immersion course with two shorter programs to teach you the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Then when you are in the program you take a really deep dive into these topics and build real-world applications to truly understand how to think like a programmer and how to work through the development lifecycle from beginning to end.At LearningFuze you do not only learn languages like HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript / jQuery, but you are exposed to PHP and MySQL. You create various apps that test your logical thinking and then you start to work as groups to bring together various technologies (AWS, APIs, JSON, AJAX) to create real world applications that solve particular problems. There are code reviews for you and your groups to help improve your code and to show you that there is no one way to write code to solve even similar problems.The instructors are top-notch and take the time to get to know your name, where you are coming from and have a great ability to explain difficult concepts in a simpler manner that you can understand. This level of commitment doesn’t end when you finish the program. You are given time during the program to work on your resume, interviewing skills and various whiteboard challenges to prepare you for after the program. They have staff members dedicated to helping you find a job after the program and have great connections in the Southern California area and beyond.This is a culture of helping and setting you up for success after the program. They are personally invested in your understanding and knowledge and look for ways to help you whenever they can. A year ago I was teaching history to middle school students with little knowledge of coding. Even though my career as a teacher was fulfilling, I discovered a passion from programming that fueled me to want to grow every single day. This passion prompted me to drop my career as an educator and led me to LearningFuze where I attended the 12 week full immersion program and have not regretted my decision one bit. I have learned more in three months than I have throughout my academic life.The instructors are great individuals and place us in a simulated working environment where we can grow and improve everyday. The best part of the entire program is the relationships you build with one another. You build a sense of comradery being in the trenches together. Not only can I call my all my classmates my friends, but I see many of them as life-long friends. Everyone comes from such different backgrounds, it is really amazing to see everyone grow and thrive here at LFZ. I would highly recommend checking out the root classes and going to an info session as those helped me make my decision to attend. I was able to find a developer job within two months of graduating. Im currently halfway through the bootcamp but so far it has been amazing. The instructors for online are Brett and Scott who are both extremely patient and explain concepts in depth. They put a lot of effort into ensuring that all concepts are clarified whenever there is any confusion. Cassandra, TJ, and Bill also help tremendously with job prep through portfolio building, Linkedin and resume formatting, and also mock interviews.Day to day involves doing assignments and going through QnA for each assignment. Assignments vary in difficulty and challenge problems are given that usually require a combination of previous concepts that were taught to successfully solve them. Anytime you have an issue, the instructors are always 1 slack message away. After class there are always after hours to receive further help if needed.The first half of the curriculum covers HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The second half of the curriculum covers more specific stack technologies such as Node.js, Express, PostgreSql, and React. Overall, I highly recommend LearningFuze and I honestly wish I decided to attend earlier.

What more can I say about LearningFuze? Honestly, I am amazed at how much I was able to learn in the short amount of time that was in the program. Going from zero to hero in 14 weeks feels like an impossible feat but it was made possible through LearningFuze and their incredible staff. Every staff personnel is there to make sure you succeed and the support system is completely flawless. It was worth every penny for me. Learning the basic trifecta of HTML,CSS and JS was the brim of the cup but being able to learn: Node.js, RESTful APIs, Agile, JSON, jQuery, React.js, HTTPie, and many more that I am able to list.Trust me when I say this that there is real genuine interest in every student and it is booming with exuberant passion.

I attended the 14-week remote full-immersion web development program and I couldnt be happier with the choice that I made. The program can be challenging, but with the support from the senior developers, I was able to press on and learn the ins and outs of web development. They taught in-demand tech skills like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and node.js just to name a few. All throughout the program, we simulate an environment comparable to one you would find at a real tech company. It definitely prepares you to be adapted to that lifestyle. The instructors are top-notch and every member of the staff will help you finish and prime you to land a job by setting up workshops to dress up your LinkedIn profile and your resume. My only regret is to not do this earlier!

An indispensable experience!! I took the Learning Fuze Remote Full Immersion Course in the summer of 2020, and it was honestly one of the best learning experiences of my life. Short answer: yes, most definitely recommend.Longer answer: Still yes. I cant praise LearningFuze enough for its *people* - the TAs, instructors, directors, and TJ + Cassandra job search support duo. Hands down its the team here that makes the difference (the tangible content and all the other pieces check out too - see further down). They are passionate not just about code, but about *teaching* code; they are passionate not just about equipping students with new skills but about getting professionals into a new career. Its this, and quite simply who the amazing people that they are that kept me going through the difficult stretches when I didnt think I could make the push. I worked full time while attending classes part time for a full year, plus the job search afterward. There were many many *many* days when I was nearly too tired to come to class or do the homework, except for that the people of LearningFuze became the highlight of my day and quite literally pulled me through the tough slog. I can unequivocally say that without them I would not have made it into my now, very loved, position.Theres really two parts to any boot camp - 1. is the bootcamp itself, the classes and content. 2. is the search after. Not everywhere provides both parts, and not everywhere provides quality on whatever they do have.From day one however I was very impressed with both the professionalism and strong community that Learning Fuze brought to their camp, and loved the post-grad job search support.Regarding part 1: The team puts in the effort to create quality content, continually updating and improving materials. They make themselves easily available and do spend the extra time outside of class answering questions. They have a great system where each class has both an instructor and a TA so that if a student is stuck on a concept but the rest of the class is ready to move forward, the student can get they help they need and not get left behind, but the rest of the class isnt slowed down.As for the hard slog of the job search - you dont just graduate and then are left hanging, on your own to figure out how to break into the industry - TJ and Cassandra bust their butts reviewing resumes, giving guidance on creating portfolios, helping navigate the search and the many different resources, tactics, approaches out there, tirelessly networking and creating opportunities to get in front of mentors and employers, holding weekly group check-ins to help keep the momentum up during the search so that you get traction rather than spin your wheels an burn out.Essentially, the tangible pieces are there. But what brings them over the top are the people. Its the small things, HOW they teach, HOW they encourage - real connections, real passion, real care, real people - in all of this that really makes LFZ stand out. Choosing to attend LearningFuze was hands down one of the best decisions that Ive made in my life.I graduated from the program in May 2019. Id done a ton of research on accelerated web development programs beforehand, but what really sold me on LearningFuze in particular was the info session. The instructors were upfront and honest about how strenuous the program would be, and they made it clear that attending was no guarantee that youd be successful in the field.After having gone through the full-immersion program, I now understand why they were so adamant about making sure that potential students really get what theyre about to jump into.The program is hard.The hours alone will break you down. The work itself will break you down some more. Youll be juggling several things at once, and eventually youll run into something that you just cant wrap your head around while facing down several deadlines and staring at your computer and wondering if you have it in you to claw yourself into some meager semblance of understanding.But even knowing just how utterly exhausting it is, I would do it all again in a heartbeat.The environment is incredibly supportive. *Every single person* in that building wants nothing more than to see you succeed, and it shows. The instructors bend over backwards to help their students, even after graduation, and are genuinely interested in helping you understand whatever youre learning regardless of whether theyre teaching it or not.The program itself is top-notch, too.From day one youll be working with git and github, and a lot of the program is structured around coding in groups, including two 48 hour hackathons. Anyone can learn to code on their own, but having actual experience working with other developers and reporting to senior level developers is priceless. I cant tell you how much easier their knowledge and expertise has made it to wade through the huge amount of info out there.Also, if youre a woman, huge shoutout to the culture of support and equality at LearningFuze. I cant tell you how much of a relief it was to be treated like a student instead of a fragile unicorn, and to have a great community of female students and alumni available for questions and support.Whether youre shy or confidant, a sports nerd or a videogame champ, old or young; an early bird, night owl, or perpetually exhausted pigeon - theres a place for you here. I graduated from the full immersion course and I can say without a doubt that this program is worth the money. I went through UCI with a double major in both humanities and science, so Ive had my fair share of instructors and classes. I dont think Ive ever been through a program where the teachers try so hard for you to succeed. The instructors are willing to set up extra classes for struggling students or even stay late to help students with their projects. Unlike a lot of university courses, this program endeavors to be current with the job market and teaches accordingly. However, its called a boot camp for a reason. You get out what you put in and you will have to work your butt off for 12 weeks. Its a tough program and really pushes you to your limit, but with such a supportive staff, its hard to fail.Extra note: I saw another comment that had some negative feedback about culture and rudeness. I know everyones experience will be different, but in the 5 months that I spent at LFZ (including the root classes, full immersion, and post-graduation alumni hangouts), both the staff and classmates have been very inclusive and friendly. I am female and openly lgbtq+ and I never had any issues with attitude or exclusion.
