This is a great hotel if you were traveling to the Pasadena/Arcadia/Duarte area of California. Very clean, very new, very chic.The staff is friendly and helpful, they have a nice workout room, and the restaurant has fairly good food. I only had breakfast there.I actually found this hotel after changing from a Hilton brand hotel that was unsatisfactory. They’ve definitely earned my business.There are a great deal of restaurants and stores right around the hotel area. Very convenient to frequent travelers.

This was not my first stay at the Le Meridian, however it was definitely the most strange. I stay in Marriott hotels multiple times a month, and have never had this experience. Upon check in, I was asked “when will you be checking out?” Uhm….at check out time?I stated I will be leaving at noon. The next morning, at 8:00am, housekeeping was knocking on my door. I got up, answered the door, and the woman asks me when I planned on leaving. I was pretty taken aback. It felt rude and invasive. At that point I felt as though it was just time to get up and leave.Valet parking is the only option as well, and I have (on a previous occasion) gone to my car in the middle of the night and found it unlocked.Due to these reasons, I will not be returning.It’s unfortunate, because it is a very nice hotel in a great location, but the Courtyard in Monrovia and the Westin in Pasadena are much better options.

I arrived pretty late and was greeted by a wonderful young lady who told me she was new. Check in was smooth. Their deposit hold was also low. Gentlemen asked me if I needed valet. Rooms are beyond excellent. If you are looking for a comfortable bed this is it. Pretty much a smooth stay for us.

The service at this hotel will absolutely exceed your expectations. The food always comes out at the perfect temperature, even after hours, the staff take great care of all of their guests. The check in clerk Di was fantastic during check in. The bar staff Elena and Sinjin really know how to treat guests with an exceptional level of hospitality. The restaurant staff each night between 3PM and 9PM Monday- Thursday hit the mark every night. Not one dish came out which did not meet or exceed the expectations, with the kitchen and servers both being exceptionally friendly and very clearly skilled. Two of them even remembered my name, and what I requested the night before for a drink. Andrew had an exceptional taste and culinary passion, as well as being really fun to talk with.I spend over 100 nights a year in Marriott hotels alone, and I can honestly say this experience and level of hospitality with the staff is really incredible.Even on mornings where I had been running behind wrapped up in a meeting that ran too late at 6:00AM, the valley staff would have my car out front and ready to go within minutes of requesting my car (one time I was in the elevator and the car was out front before I got there).Not only was it exceptional, but it was consistent every single day, across the entire team. The pool area and nearby locations, as well as outside patio area and local amenities were also very well maintained, and the location was really nice for a walk. The fitness center was clean and pleasant to use.My only complaint was the in room coffee maker, and the light switches which would not turn on or off very easily at all. Both of which could easily be user error.Well done. 🎉. Seriously, exceptionally well done.

Honestly, what a great hotel. Im an ambassador at Marriott and this Le Meridien is one of my favorites.The entire hotel staff is kind and courteous. Their food is delicious. Their rooms are spacious and consistently clean. Highly recommend if youre in town and you want to feel like royalty.

Smells like a new house!! Amazing everything! Location was 26mins to Hollywood. Great place to get food around hotel. $29 a day for valley only parking. Asked for towels and never got any but hotel room was huge and modern. Great play yard outback for my kids to play games. They have lots to do! A movie was being filled while we were there too! Pool was 80 degrees on a 60 degree day!

If you’re looking to stay near Arcadia/Pasadena this is a lovely hotel option. The rooms are a good size, modern decor and comfortable beds. Loved the bathroom set up, separate water closet, shower with rain head and handheld, make up mirror and main mirror vanity light. In room coffee is Illy brand with real coffee cups and has a nice seating area with bar stool to enjoy it. My room had a nice garden view. Valet parking only, was prompt upon arrival and departure. Service was friendly.

This review is not for the rooms but rather their ballroom staff and service. Attended a wedding last night and had one of the worst table service and support staff experience. If you are thinking of having an event here think twice. Server was extremely rude and short when everyone’s meal was incorrect marked. Instead of trying to fix the problem they said you get what you get until the outside help arrived. They thought it was a good idea to bring the kids meals after the 2nd corse, asked for bred 3 times and wine service which was clearly paid for never happened. Short staffed hotel with bad attitude. To top it off when the valet returned our car floor mats were covered in dert.

I have been here over 3 weeks on business and I love the place. The service is A1. The food is delicious. And if you have the opportunity to meet Elena, Sin Jin & Steffano, you would love them! I dont know their names but the Valet personnel are also great. I will be returning when I am in the area!

Traveled for work and stayed here, rooms were so nice and clean and the restaurant and bar had a lot of great food options available! Walking distance to a lot of other places. The valet parking was a little inconvenient but not a deal breaker for me, I’d stay there again for sure!

Overall its been an amazing experience with valet Parking and pet friendly, also the park across the street literally steps away is so great for our beloved 4 legged babies..We ended our night at the bar for a few glasses of wine and our bartender Sinjin was so nice and curteous.. watching him make drinks was the best part of my night.. thank you for your attentiveness with us..

I was only there for an outdoor event midweek.There is only valet parking and due to location, no street parking at all.We were given a drink ticket, for a beer or white blend wine, the only choices.Nice lobby.

The mandatory valet parking makes no sense. The parking lot has hundreds of empty spots.Not to mention the valet service is slow and annoying. I still get a nauseating fragrance smell after many hours.Room is small. Furniture is flimsy. Will never come back. A disgrace to the Le Meridien brand.

The basic services were great. The valet was prompt. The housekeeping came almost right away after I phoned in a concern. The front desk was professional and friendly.However, I have Titanium Elite status with Marriott and I was very disappointed that they did not honor “suite upgrades” that was part of the loyalty program benefits. I requested twice during the two days stay. The second time was because our first room had bad sink that didn’t drain properly and it had an accessibility shower that would splash everywhere. I got polite denies with excuses such as “nothing is available at the moment” and “have to wait until 4pm” to see if anything will be available then. Both times I checked the app and saw that there were suite rooms available..!!So if you have a Marriott status, don’t expect them to go out of their way to honor it.I’m not a confrontational type so I didn’t press them on the spot. I really hope they fix this system or they would lose their loyal members.

Checked in the hotel at 9 PM and took a shower only to find out the refill pumps for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were completely empty. Called the front desk for help and waited over 30 minutes and still no response from the house keeping. Called again and finally someone showed up to refill. This is not the service quality that we deserve for the price we paid for to stay at the hotel.

We had a beautiful visit here! All of the staff were lovely and did their very best to be accommodating with the construction going on. It is clear the hotel is still in the process of growing and we look forward to it seeing it completed in the future. Di was so wonderful! He made our check-in experience so lovely, we truly felt relieved every time we returned to the hotel. In the mornings we were greeted by a woman (who seemed like a manager of the restaurants) and she always acknowledged us and asked about things that we talked about doing during our stay! I wish I could remember her name. She was also very attentive when we had our tea reservation. The facility is beautiful and our king room was very spacious, with some beautiful modern euro touches. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Bad experience here from the beginning. Front desk personnel lack of knowledge, dirty sheets on bed. Check out by Norma was horrible I was told I cant check you out right now our System is rebooting. When I asked how long till I can check out, she replied I dont know. I then ask to talk to someone else that knows and was given a smart mouth reply saying you can call whomever you want they cant help you. I then asked her for her supervisor name and she said Christina. So Christina your employee Norma needs to be retain.

Everything about this hotel was great except my only complaint would be that for breakfast took way too long. There were only four other tables filled in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get our food for what is simple breakfast items.

Weve had our company retreat here in June, the second year in a row. 1st time last year, it was a very mixed experience from dealing with our rep to staff on site and all the feedback from employees staying in the hotel. I ended up not going in person after all due to getting covid. However, I planned the event, and our rep was not the best experience in my personal experience planning events for over 16 years. There were many errors, from set-up, food ordering to sleeping rooms, and billing! Pay attention to that bill details! But the hotel staff was awesome and trying their best to help! We decided to give it another try since it was a new contact and the last one was no longer there and honestly we were at crunch time with so many other events going on so we decided to build off the previous year. Gaby helped us this time. Shes awesome! And cant forget, Harry, so helpful! At events like this, so many things can go wrong with so many changes, we had over 140 attending in person, about 100 staff staying at the hotel. We had so many changes, and Gaby and her team were easy to work with. Shes very knowledgeable and has great contacts for entertainment, we had a jazz band with a female vocalist, and it was so great! I wish I had taken pictures, but it was so busy! She was so helpful with all our needs. Will note we did use the shuttle company they recommended. However, it wasnt ADA accessible, but Gaby helped us find another small shuttle last minute for our employees needing to get to an off-site event. So make sure you confirm. Dont assume, as we did, that the shuttles are ADA accessible. Great park located right across the street, where we held more team fun events. Parking is only valet, and the hotel catering food options went up a bit from last year and are a bit pricey. Overall, it was a great experience for our 3 day event! Would recommend!

While my recent stay at this hotel had its positive aspects, there were some frustrating issues that greatly impacted my overall experience. Firstly, I must commend the facility itself, which was well-maintained and had excellent amenities. The customer service was also exceptional, with friendly staff members always ready to assist. I stayed over five days.However, I was quite disappointed to discover that the only parking option available was valet service. For someone who prefers to have control over their vehicle and values the convenience of self-parking, this limitation was quite inconvenient and unwelcome.Another significant letdown was the absence of towels after the room cleaning service. Its disheartening to return to a freshly cleaned room, only to find that the basic necessities like towels were overlooked. Even more frustrating was the lack of a proper follow-up when I called the front desk for an update. I was simply told that they were out of towels, leaving me wondering if any further action would be taken.These inconveniences, especially when considered in light of the price paid for the stay, tarnished what could have been an otherwise memorable experience. Its essential for a hotel to uphold the standards expected at the price point it demands, and in this regard, this particular establishment fell short.In summary, the hotel boasted great facilities and provided excellent customer service. However, the inconvenience of the valet-only parking option, coupled with the oversight of towels during room cleaning, and the lack of proper follow-up, leaves me questioning the value for money. I hope the management takes note of these concerns and makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more satisfying experience for future guests.Additionally, based on my experience, I regret to say that I will not be considering booking this hotel again in the future. The inconveniences and shortcomings mentioned earlier have left me with a lasting impression that does not inspire confidence for future stays. They force you to use valet parking, while its more efficient and convenient to park myself, since the parking is just around and on the ground, just steps away. They could simply charge a parking fee without hiring a third company to run valet parking. This valet parking doesnt make any sense, and I did lose cash inside my car. I complained, but the hotel totally ignored my concern; they probably think I have no hard evidence. Well, it seems they do not care about their customers and the quality of service. Well, I stayed there only for one night, but I got my first ever COVID on that checking out day, not sure its related to valet parking, but its even harder to prove.

Ive stayed at this establishment multiple times during my trips to LA, and until now, I had relatively pleasant experiences. However, my most recent stay was an absolute nightmare. On the first night, I was startled by an abrupt knock at 2am, with someone attempting to enter my room uninvited. Then, to add to my distress, the rooms alarm went off twice between 7:40 and 8 am, depriving me of restful sleep. The third night was no different; I was again jolted awake at 1am by the front desk staff who, to my dismay, had the wrong room.But the worst was yet to come. Upon returning to my room on the last day, I discovered that my personal towel, which I had brought with me to avoid using the hotels linens, had disappeared. The implication was clear: housekeeping had mistaken it for the hotels property and taken it. The hotels apathetic response was the last straw. Its not about the monetary value of the towel; its the principle. My trust has been completely shattered, and I unequivocally state that I will NEVER stay here again.

We attended an evening function for a local non profit. Very nice interior and courtyard area. Did not stay the night so cant comment on the rooms. Light hors doeuvres were served and all were very tasty and presented well. Not a big fan of valet only parking and even less of a fan when they dont take cash payments. They still take cash tips...

Steer clear! We had a number of issues with our stay at this hotel. We were offered Marriott Bonvoy points as compensation and they never actually credited us. I travel a lot and haven’t had an experience like this before. The staff seemed inexperienced, the air conditioning only worked sporadically, and the valet (required because they don’t allow self-parking) failed to lock our car doors overnight and left the lights on in our car draining the battery completely. At first the valet tried to deny this happened, but when we had the battery checked, it was clear that this was in fact the case.This stay was a disaster and when we reported it to management, they promised they would make it right. It’s been a week and we haven’t received any kind of response or compensation since.Pros:- beautiful outdoor spaces and bar- luxury brand- housekeeping staff was niceCons:- lobby smells like dinner due to the restaurant- bathrooms are small and have barn doors that don’t close all the way- air conditioning wasn’t working in the hallways and was only sporadically available in the room- terrible valet service (do not park your car on-site!)- management says they will fix the issue and then fails to do soRead the reviews! There are way too many negative reviews as compared to other hotels. I wish we had read them before we booked!

I went here over the weekend and had a great discounted deal on the room, so I felt the value for what I paid was excellent.Safety - my friends and I felt very safe here. The area around the hotel was quiet and tucked in some nice suburban neighborhoods. Theres a police station very close by which was nice for peace of mind. The type of people this hotel attracts are on the wealthier side, so there werent any seedy individuals milling about.Room - the room was a lot nicer than I expected. Pretty accurate to the pictures. It had vaulted ceilings and looked recently upgraded. Only complaint was that the sink faucet came loose from the sink, but it still worked. Just a little awkward to use. It was quiet except a couple times when police sirens went off. Didnt happen too much so I wasnt bothered. We could hear the room next to us if they were loud, but only cause we shared a door.Service - the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. We had one noise complaint that they swiftly took care of, no questions asked. The valet were also really great. My group were a bit rag-tag and we definitely didnt belong at a place like this, but the staff never judged us for being a bunch of normies.

Beautiful new hotel. Great service and friendly staff. The staff was very helpful. Good locationas well. Only valet parking available. Our room had a fairly open shower so make sure your sharing your room with someone your comfortable with. Also, great views of the hills just outside our windows.

Warm welcome at the valet when we arrivedThe service was excellent.The lady at the front desk for our late check in last Friday night was wonderful.A big surprise with an upgrade in a lovely and huge corner room with an amazing view of the race track.What a treat 👏👏👏Cookies and water were in the room .. after a 10 hours drive..!!A very nice gesture.They have coffee warm and tasty in the lobby at 5.30 am.The bar offers a selection of nice cocktails and wine … the staff is super friendly too.We will definitely come back in this hotel if we need to stay again in Pasadena.The service everywhere is Top Notch👏👏👏

Room and restaurant are nice. However we have very terrible experiences, fire alarms twice. I stayed here 2 times. First time was Jan and I had no complaints, then this time happened on 5/17 at 2:00am. Everyone dressed and ran out of rooms and found it’s fake alarm. Fire alarms triggered by the steam of hotel kitchen exactly same as Jan. Questions are:1. Why there were steam at midnight when Kitchen was closed?2. It has been 4 months and hotel did not fix this steam issue?Would never come back again.

I am writing this from my room at hotel. I cant believe how someone would give this hotel a bad review. This place is the best hotel in all of the area, including Pasadena. From the staff to the restaurants. This hotel is world class. Yes it is only valet parking but for goodness sake, enjoy that service and stop whining or go stay at a Motel 6. This hotel is worth every penny. The bed and mattress is amazing. The design of the rooms is fresh and world class. Whoever complained about no towels is lieing. There are more than enough towels and anything else you would ever need in this room. I would stay at this hotel again and again. Perfect!

This is a beautiful hotel with courteous kind staff.Brunch was fabulous. The Ginger Gelato 😋!The body wash was also high quality. I brought my own but decided to try it out. Perfect bed time or refreshing morning scent of sage. It left my skin feeling clean & moisturized. Thats not an easy find.I highly recommend this location!

This hotel seems to be brand new or remodeled. It had a modern look, was clean and smelled great. The lobby is massive and airy. I love all the natural light that comes in. Theres a lobby bar and couches, tables and chairs to chill in while there.The staff there was so friendly and nice. We had lunch at Melange Restaurant in the lobby and it was pretty good. I know this is a higher end 3 or 4 star hotel ( not sure), but it would be nice if they offered coffee in the lobby. Its something nice to have.The rooms were decent. Nothing bad or extravagant. The illy coffee and having a coffee maker in the room are always a plus. For the free hotel WiFi, you have to be a Marriott Bonvoy member. It will reset every few hours just FYI. I didnt have a car that needed valet parking but it is up to $27 per day according to the pricing chart.Overall, nice hotel for the rate. Would recommend.

Nice looking hotel but service is meh. Our food delivery order didn’t include utensils so I stopped by the hotel restaurant to get some. The staffer, a middle aged woman with some white streaks in her hair gave me one set. I said I needed two more and she handed me one and said “That’s it.” Are you fkn kidding me?The valet situation is annoying. It’s a huge money maker for the hotel. So even though u think you are getting a decent rate the 27 bucks per day parking fee adds up. Also: provide your guests with some lobby coffee. It’s a nice, inexpensive perk.Pros are is it is a short walk for the race track.

Having frequented this establishment on my numerous visits to LA, I had come to expect a certain level of professionalism and courtesy. My recent stay, however, was nothing short of a calamity. The very first night, at the ungodly hour of 2am, there was an aggressive knock, with someone audaciously trying to gain entry to my room. As if that wasnt perturbing enough, the rooms alarm jolted me from my slumber not once, but twice, between 7:40 and 8 am.On the third night, the debacle continued when I was roused at 1am by a knock from the front desk staff who, in an astounding display of incompetence, realized they had the wrong room. But the pinnacle of this egregious series of events was when I discovered that my personal towel had vanished. It was clear that the housekeeping staff had misidentified it as the hotels property and taken it.What deeply troubles me isnt the loss of a mere towel; its the sheer negligence and the hotels subsequent apathy. Such brazen disregard for a guests belongings and well-being is unacceptable. I am left with no recourse but to emphatically state: I have lost all faith in this establishment and will most decidedly NEVER return.

Super clean new hotel. The parking can be tricky if you dont stay on the far left lane after the light because it turns into a 1 way. If you miss it you have to go around and try again. Nice friendly staff and new steak house. New menus and super delicious brunch! The bartender Luis is always friendly and nice to talk with. Full security and valet parking only. Spend $70 at the bar get free parking. Win!

We stayed at Le Meridien for 3 nights while visiting California for Universal Studios. I chose this property because it was less than 30 minutes away from Universal, in a great area with shopping/mall/restaurants and priced at a very reasonable rate.This hotel is absolutely beautiful from the lobby to the rooms. I had a good laugh when I saw the shower as it was the same black square tile and light grey grout that I chose for my custom shower design at my home a few years ago. I appreciated rainfall showerhead with the separate detached shower head as well.Very comfortable plush pillows/bedding, TV placed right in front of the bed (it always slightly annoys me when the TV is placed off to the side of the bed, its the little things LOL). I also appreciated that a room key is required at the elevator to go to your floor.A few things to note: The rooms do not have coffee machines but instead free (and delicious) coffee with all of the fixings is offered in the lobby, which I honestly prefer over the questionable room machines. Only two towels/wash clothes are provided in the room, but staff was great and provided a couple more upon request. This hotel is also valet only which is clearly advertised in multiple places before you book the room (worth noting since I heard more than one person complaining about the valet-only parking).Staff is great, from the cleaners to the valet to the desk, all of our staff interactions were great. Valet even went above and beyond for me when I was trying to find a luggage cart when I was checking out. He looked on every floor and delivered a cart to my room when he found one! They also help you with your luggage if you need it.

4* hotel thats really more like a 3.5* hotel with some mind boggling issues. On the positive side this hotel is pretty new, with a great location, nice ambiance, and generally friendly front desk staff. The rooms are pretty standard, but nicely decorated.For the negatives - there are a couple of minor ones and one major issue. Parking - valet only, for $28 per day. Why? Every other hotel in this area has free self parking. I absolutely despise other people parking my car, and I know there are many that feel the same. Fwiw, you can park for free across the street in the city park parking lot. Wifi is not free either, unless youre Bonvoy member, which I am. The kicker is that it kept asking all of our devices to re-authenticate every few hours, which is a major pain when youre trying to work.Now for the big negative - upon check out, they tried telling us we had to pay > $250 for a dinner in their restaurant. The thing is we never ate dinner in their restaurant. Either their system allows anyone to charge food to a random room without actually checking that the person is staying in the said room, or the hotel/restaurant employees are just running a straight up scam. Both scenarios are equally bad. The worst thing is we would have never found out if I didnt insist on a detailed incidentals bill. This took some time to resolve and put a big damper on our day.

THIS HOTEL DOESN’T PROVIDE HOUSEKEEPING.I went to front desk to book my housekeeping service every night, but no one cleaned my room on the next day. I thought they just forgot about it for the first time, and I went again IN PERSON. But it ended up with no house keeping on my schedule except the first night. Me and my boyfriend had been staying for 5 DAYs, they only cleaned once. I was so angry about it, they waived our parking fee and 1 breakfast fee. I let them to give me a call regarding what’s going on here, either something wrong with the front desk or housekeeping people, I need to know what’s the issue for this. We went back to hotel pretty late every night, so there is no housekeeping lady anymore, and I cleaned up the bad sheet and all the garbage by MYSELF. I don’t know what’s the point of making several housekeeping reservation, cuz no one cares you at all. It’s not about money, it’s more about satisfaction. They promised me to give a call or at least send me an email, but they didn’t! I don’t know what happens with their communication, but this is the worst experience I ever had.

Great place in a central location from Arcadia district, Malls and movie theater, golf course and horse race track minutes away from hotel. Upon arrival to the hotel I was greeted by valet. The hotel grounds and art is beautiful. Customer service was outstanding. Hotel has two restaurants and a bar inside with mountain scenery in the area to sit outside and have a drink. Pool and gym very spacious and well kept. The hotel rooms are great, beds are comfortable and the wall in shower is the best.One con for me was the hotel have a door that connects to another room door. I prefer to not have that feature although you can keep your room door lock and only way to get into the other room was for the other side to unlock theirs I prefer not to have this feature at all.Overall I will book again and I give this hotel 4.5

My stay at Le Meridian in Arcadia was enjoyable!Room: The room was spacious for one person and had a wonderful view of the park across the street. The bathroom was nicely furnished and I thought the motion sensor mirror on the side of the sink was cool. I enjoyed sleeping on the bed as well since it felt cozy and soft. Also, the TV and power plugs placed in the room were nice and conveniently placed. The only small disappointment was not being able to use a digital key on my phone, which is available at other hotels.Staff: The staff is where this place truly excelled. When getting breakfast, Kellys upbeat and energetic attitude and service gave a great start to my day!Food: While the food was somewhat pricey, it was delicious. Gorgeous hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. We chose this hotel despite it being a bit far from downtown LA and Universal Studios but it was so worth it! There is no price for a sense of security and safety. The bathroom is beautiful and the beds are extremely comfy. My husband loved the high windows complete with sun-blocking curtains. I first visited this hotel back maybe two years ago within weeks of it opening. I will just say that it hasnt been kept up very well to be a little over two years old.Disclaimer: I typically stay in 5 star hotels so my view of this property may be skewed by that fact. However, I do stay in many 4 stars when thats all that is available. Ive also visited other Le Meridiens and this one, comparatively, is lacking.Parking: no self-parking, all valet with the text and QR code to get your car daily. I had no issues with this other than theres no option. All parking appears to be outdoors. They were quick which was good.Hotel condition: When something is labeled as 4 star, you expect a certain level but this place is bare bones. If you took away the lobby (that lacks a place to purchase anything substantial with random, poor offerings on a stack of open shelves) it doesnt feel much different than a mid-tier establishment. They once had an active, name restaurant but now its something nondescript that never seems open with a menu that cannot be found anywhere. The lobby has a bar and in the mornings the only coffee that can be found sits off to the side- one option, no decaf and tea packets that just say black or green. This is the only option - nothing in the room - and it disappears after maybe 9 or 10 in the morning.When I arrived in the rooms, they were more worn than the last time. The bed linens didnt appear to fit the beds as they were short on one side for both beds. The bathroom lacked counter space and there was one bar of soap for the hands and a small lotion bottle that was mostly empty with a safety seal that had obviously been opened. On the floor near the TV were a lot of crumbs from someone else which tells me the vacuuming is spotty and when I wiped down everything with Lysol wipes (as Ive done for years pre-COVID), the wipes did not return to me clean. The TV remote seemed to be on a little lag as you attempt to flip through the channels. The Do Not Disturb sign for the door was dirty and worn. There is a fridge which was great but if you needed a microwave they charge $10 a day for use. Why is an alleged 4 star hotel not providing a microwave but then charging a daily usage fee? They should be embarrassed to even tell people that.Other: The elevator requires a key to get to the floor. There are 6 floors and this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Im not really sure why thats necessary but I appreciate safety precautions.The gym has decent offerings. Plenty of cardio, weight machines and free weights. However after the first day the gym ran out of wipes and I had to alert the staff to this. When they brought some they were individual small packets of alcohol wipes and not the industrial wipes that get loaded in the large silver bins. How does a 4 star establishment completely run out of anything for more than a day? Who is managing their supply chain? Two days later, still small packets of wipes and I think if I had not said anything, no one would have brought out anything. Disgusting.Service: this is make or break for me. I stay at certain locations like a Grand Hyatt or a Four Seasons because the service is impeccable. A property has to stand on something whether its state of the art rooms, cleanliness to call home about, service beyond compare, amazing food offerings or with higher level hotels it can be all of these things. Surely this place had to excel somewhere. In service, they did not.When I checked in there was a youngish woman with long dark hair and caterpillar eyelashes who could not tell me what I was being charged for incidentals. Now Ive never checked into a place where the charge was not a flat fee ($100 a night for example) but a percentage of the stay (according to her 3%) but why could this person not tell me what that charge was? I had to ask her what the total was being put on my card and then say to her I suppose I will have to take your amount and subtract it from the amount in my email confirmation to know what portion is being charged to me

As a heads up they have a room refresh policy where if you want your room cleaned you basically have to schedule it at the front desk or your room wont get cleaned but you can schedule it at check-in to get cleaned every day. They also only have valet parking but the valets were great as theyre the staff I interacted with the most since well... They had to get my car a bunch. Id recommend this hotel.

I’m shocked that this hotel has a 4.1 rating on the Marriott Bonvoy app! It deserves a WAY higher rating and it’ll get there within time because it’s a new hotel and there’s < 50 reviews. I loved this Marriott. All (and I mean all) the staff are so attentive and it’s so rare to have. And I actually think it’s the ONLY Marriott property I’ve been to, where all the staff are on point and pay attention to guests’ needs.Ashley is the go-to at the front desk! Promote this girl to front desk supervisor if she isn’t already lol. On a serious note, she took care of my room request and I couldn’t be any more appreciative. Everything was taken care of prior to checking in (not going into detail on what it was) and let me tell you, it was sooo nice not having to worry about rushing to the hotel to check-in (again, rare!). I believe there was another staff named Emily and she was really great too!The staff at the bar were really nice, the valet, the engineer guy, and the front desk person in the pm who sent the engineer had such great service. I’m seriously impressed. Other Marriott properties’ staff need to be sent to this hotel for customer service training. We booked Le Meridien for a getting ready suite prior for my wedding. The suite was spacious and accommodating for a lot of people to get ready, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Our wedding photographer also mentioned how great the lighting was in the room – we had a corner suite – and the hotel was kind enough to give us a $50 credit to the mini bar when we checked in. Someone had left trash In The hall way and it sat there for almost 2 days, the floors in the lobby looks like they had been mopped with dirty water, and the men’s lobby restroom was not that well maintained. Plus when we arrived they had given the room we booked for 2 nights away and had to relocate us to a different room. When entering our room it was hot and stuffy, the restroom door did not close all the way and stay opened at lest 3 inches. The valet parking was In A dirt parking lot next door, so when you get into your car you can count on our car being dirty.I became a member because I thought that this would be a great hotel to stay at in the future but now I’m not so sure.

This hotel is new, so it is clean, and for us it was in a good location.Parking (unless handicap parking) is all valet, expect a 20–30-minute wait for your vehicle on weekends and evenings, also do not be surprised if they misplace your car keys!There are no coffee machines in the room, they provide coffee or tea in the lobby which is fine. I go down at 8:30am for a cup of coffee and the dispensers are all empty.I called for cups to be brought to the room and the cups never came. I went down to the counter to ask if I can have a cup and they tell me it will be brought up shortly. 1.5 hr later a cup eventually came.This hotel does not provide daily house-keeping, you can either call or arrange house-keeping at check in. We opted for calling, they need 24 hour notice which was fine with us. I called them in the morning and arranged for house-keeping the following morning, they brought new towels and made the bed, but the toiletries were never refilled, soaps and shampoo bottles were near empty when we arrived and never filled during our 5-night stay (I brought my own anyway). Second attempt at requesting house-keeping, they never bothered showing up. Called them when we got back to the room in the afternoon and the house-keeping staff had gone home for the day.Upon check-in they were given my Marriot Bonvoy member number, being a member gives you complementary Wi-Fi. This was confirmed by the staff upon Check-in and Check-out that I would not be charged for internet use. Guess what was charged on my credit card when I got home? You got it ! 29.95 fees for Wi-Fi. I call the hotel and the agent on the line was very kind and removed the charge, but she told me it was because I dont have a member number linked to my account..Overall, it was a disappointing stay.

Newer hotel, great location, clean but abnormally designed rooms, no in-room cofee/tea, NOT Bonvoy elite friendly, valet parking only,Had a single night stay during the Independence Day weekend.Booked the AAA rates King Classic and used an SNA. Cleared the SNA to a one room suite the evening prior to check-in, but on day of check-in it was downgraded a Deluxe King. Late checkout requested at check-in but I was told the hotel was completely sold-out the next day so they can only grant me a 2 pm late checkout even though I still see room availability. Given a room on the 2nd floor just above the pool. No additional upgrades for Titanium(Bonvoy is stingy with upgrades for elites or is it just me?) Kids screaming at the pool and vehicle noise from the road could be an issue if you are sensitive. Room was clean and modern but not up to the Le Meridien brand standards. Bed side USB outlets didnt work but the 110v did. AC vent is directly above the bed so while the bed area is cool the bathroom stays hot and steamy with no circulation. Reading lamp on the left side of the bed has no switch and must be turned off using the master switch on the right side of the bed(reading lamp switch didnt turn it off). Housekeeping knocked on the door at 12pm with the Do not disturb sign on the door. Front desk didnt informed them regarding late checkout guests?Instead of the 1000 points I went with the breakfast. Continental is free or its a $18 credit per person towards menu items. The chicken waffle was okay. Waffle is decent but the chicken was dry on the inside not crispy outside. Gratuity already added on the bill along with a service charge of $6.48. Why a service charge if I am dining at the restaurant? I think Ill take my 1000 points next time if I ever return here and dine at Le Roys instead.Valet only, really!Will I return? Yes, I think Ill give this property another chance.

The racetrack is directly across the street, but I drove there because the walk was too far for me because you have to walk across the parking lot. Hotel is close to everything! As much as I would like to share how high quality the rooms appear, unfortunately you cannot account for low quality staff or security. During our stay we attended a wedding reception, and were attending the party into the next morning.We returned to our room, and something seemed slightly out of place but not notable enough at the moment to call down to the front desk. The next day we noticed after returning home that some small items were missing, specifically small apple head phones and other technology products from our overnight bag.We contacted the hotel to report the missing items, and state that items were missing but there is little security features at the hotel to confirm that the room was opened during the party. There are also no cameras recording of the hotel hallways, according to the associate I spoke with, for any confirmation of our room being accessed.This seems to be a benefit for people who really appreciate privacy to their detriment, or is a very unfortunate lack of security. We absolutely know that our items were not left unattended or in an unlocked room. the geo tag that apple provided proved last notification of the AirPods was the hotel, then the updated location from the Find My app (which tracks location of your devices) was updated to 30 miles south (Norwalk, near studebaker elementary).The staff were polite on the phone, but there is no follow up possible beside asking house keeping if the items were found in the room, we already know these were taken elsewhere based on the apple geo tags.This information hopefully helps the hotel to improve their security, informs future hotel patrons of the risk, or in the most unlikely situation causes the thief to return the items to the hotel lost and found. Also hopefully this information doesn’t encourage likely thieves to take advantage of this security lapse.

I know the housekeeping thing is temporary and its for the safety of everyone. I kind of feel its more for saving the hotels money by not having as many people there to clean the rooms. The problem is the hotel tells you if you need anything to let them know. When we left one morning at around 8am I asked the front desk for a set of clean towels and we left the dirty ones by the door as instructed. She was very polite and I heard her call on her radio to have the towels delivered. After a long day arriving back at the hotel around 7pm there was no towels and the dirty ones still by the door. I called down to ask them to please bring towels as I would like to take a shower. They did finally bring two towels, no small ones and again left the dirty ones by the door. This Hotel is new and very nice but didnt have that clean feeling already. If you cut services like housekeeping you need to at the very least bring towels and take the dirty ones. The restaurant is fancy and the food is just delicious, even my 1-year-old son loves it.We had a flat tire when reaching the hotel, we left the car to the staff for velvet parking and planned to fix it the next day. Hotel is very nice...thats where it ends. First...only valet parking at $28/day, they charge the same if you self park. The staff is not responsive. It took 2 days to get a suitcase stand. You have to book housekeeping 24 hours in advance.. They do not have anything such as coffee or water in the rooms which is ridiculous. Free coffee in the lobby but do not offer decaf, that you have to buy. For a LeMeridian, the service and in room amenities are poor. Very disappointing. The restaurant food was good.

I had a wonderful stay here for the anniversary with my bf. The hotel is brand new and pretty, its about 10-15 minutes drive from old town Pasadena and Huntington Library. Compare to 626 area the price is good for the quality of the room and service. The front desk girl Minh who helped us to checking-in was super friendly, she introduce the services & amenities in the hotel and made the check-in process smooth and easy. There is no tea or coffee in the room, how ever they offer free morning tea and coffee in first floor. Parking was valet only $27, no self parking available, but its understandable. My family stayed at this beautiful property this past weekend. We had a wonderful experience from the moment the valet greeted us at the entrance. We were checked in and tended to by two amazing front house ladies. Both Emily and Ashley were friendly and professional. We were given a warm reception and Emily even took the time to help us to our room and point out the amenities. The view of the mountains and the Santa Anita race track was impressive. The room itself is very nicely decorated and conveniences like USB ports and room light controls at the bedside are appreciated.We spent time at the pool and while there is presently no poolside service, the lobby bar staff were kind enough to deliver our food and beverage to our chairs at the pool.Housekeeping was friendly and fast. Asking for extra towels resulted in a delivery to my room in less than 5 minutes.Whenever we had to leave the property, the valets had our car waiting for us when we came down and were always quick to tend to us when we returned.Checking out was a breeze. Ashley was again very nice and thoughtful. She noted that we had a long drive ahead of us and gave us some nice cold water for the road. Overall, the staff goes above and beyond with things that show that they care about guests. I am very satisfied with our stay and my kids didnt want to leave.. and are already asking to come back. I highly recommend this property and will return. Thanks Le Meridien team. You all made our trip special.

This hotel just opened in June so it still smells new! Relatively understated modern decor, a little artsy like most le Meridiens are. The suite was very spacious. I stayed at Le Meridien Arcadia the weekend of July 4th. The hotel was beautiful! The room was also beautiful and very clean. When I got back to Florida, I realized I had left some items in the room. I didn’t call until about two weeks later because I was extremely busy. I called them and Samantha, the employee I spoke with, took the time to help me locate the lost items. She informed me that if I sent them a shipping label, they would mail me my items. I sent it to her Tuesday afternoon and the very next day they shipped out my package. She was very helpful, extremely nice, and seemed genuinely interested in helping. Definitely 5 star service. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s also in a great location. So this hotel is brand new so the first star was earned simply for that. Everything else fell short of expectations. Valet is massively expensive for what it was, especially when the staff shows no sense of urgency. Front Office staff was nice but was truly clueless. I was told that they werent part of the Marriott Hotels - never mind the fact that the BONVOY placard was right in front of me and I am a Titanium Elite member. Although my upgrade request was confirmed by Bonvoy program 24 hours prior to arrival via email; it was not honored at check-in. The property sited some plumbing issue. The restaurant on site did not offer the menu published on the website. Many items have been removed but the menu did not reflect the change. Breakfast service in the dining room was also eliminate due to capacity but no one informed us at check- in of that change. We showed up for breakfast to be directed to this subpar breakfast buffet (better could be found at Hampton Inn down the street). To make it worst, the included breakfast (as part of Titanium benefit) only included the continental selection. In order for us to get bacon, eggs and sausages, there is a supplement of $ 10 per person. I am mad about the $10 supplements. but I am severely disappointed at the lack of communication. I dont blame the line staff because the management truly fail them and the guests. Management needs to keep in mind that, the building will only be new and modern for a period of time.... when that fades, guest experience will have to carry the hotel. Please get your act together so you can attract the right guests and retain their loyalty in the long run.Hotel has potential just need direction from top management.

Hotel is pretty far away from anything, no shops for drinks or snacks in close proximity, if you have a car you will be fine. It takes an hour to get into LA or SoFi.During covid they only clean your room once at your request only, we stayed a week and were given 3 towels which wasnt enough and we had to leave our trash outside the door each morning.The fitness centre is good. The layout of the hotel is a little strange, it feels very segmented. Beautiful hotel, new and super centrally located. Right by the Santa Anita Park and Racetrack in Arcadia, California, United States. It offers some prominent horse racing events in the United States during early fall, winter and in spring. This hotel is a category 5 and it shows, everything is clean and immaculate from the grounds, to the inside lobby and all around, it’s bright and neat. The only drawback is the Valet Parking, it will set you back 27.50 a night per car as they don’t have self parking. The staff was amazing, I interacted with Kyle Duran and he took care of my mini refrigerator problem, being that the hotel is so new they haven’t furnished all the rooms with them yet but, Alberto Perales made it happened, and 10 minutes later I had a new refrigerator installed in my room. The cleaning crew was amazing and they went out of their way to do a magnificent job. Just amazing, friendly people.

Check in was straight forward and fairly quick. The lobby is nice and modern. The new establishment along with modern rooms are great for a small getaway or business trip. Their $5-6 wifi is sufficient to play/download games. The bar area is spacious and there is a beautiful outdoor area. The fitness center is open 24/7 as of 3/21/2022. The pool is open as well. There is 24/7 room service available along with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Valet parking is NOT an option! They charge you $27 a night to park at a hotel where you are already paying to stay. They also charge for wifi. These are pretty basic things these days, even a motel 6 gives you these for free lol but this place charges you. The rooms are ok nothing fancy and pretty basic for a “4 star”. I could have stay across the street for less and had free parking and free wifi. Save your $ and stay at any of the other 5 or 6 nice hotels up the street. Though the staff was nice and the room was pretty, I wont ever stay here again. I paid for the room in advance, yet they placed an additional incidental hold on my card for 100 dollars. They charged for valet and wifi as well, and it wasnt part of the 100 they had on hold. This put my account in a negative balance. In addition to that stressful occurrence, my confirmation stated my room would have a tub and my room only had a stand in shower. The view outside our window was hideous, and they had live music in the bar which kept me from falling asleep. Once I did fall asleep, I kept waking up because the pillows were like air and provided zero support for my neck. Stacking 2 pillows was too high and one pillow alone was like nothing. Im still sore from it. I had to work the next morning so this was a huge issue for me. The bathroom was a joke. There is a sliding door for the toilet area that has an enormous gap when its closed. Other people you share the room with can totally see you use the toilet and theres no wall or door separating the bed from the bathroom area. Completely unacceptable. Also, the website photos showed a huge area of grass and greenery in front of the hotel which is in reality a huge construction site. This was a completely misadvertised and dishonest hotel experience and I will be sure to let everyone I know aware of it. I stayed here to celebrate an anniversary and I left completely unhappy. Dont waste your money here!

As a platinum member i was upgraded to a beautiful suite that i absolutely loved. The staff were extremely friendly and professional made me feel very welcomed. The manager Ali is simply AMAZING, so kind, so professional, so accommodating. He is such a great addition to the Marriott brand. He surprised me with a bottle of wine, fruits, and dessert, and a personal note saying he hopes im enjoying my stay and my suite, so sweet of him. I would definitely stay at the Le Meridien Pasadena Arcadia again and already booked my next stay. The bar and restaurant is also great. Nice pool and gym. The rooms are new and very clean but what really stood out to me is the hospitality i received from Ali, he is truly one of a kind and Marriott is very lucky to have him apart of their team. Beautiful but disappointing...1. When I called to find out if the pool amenity was open, the reservation help desk told me that they are NOT allowed to call the property and ask? (We were traveling from CO with two kids so it would have been nice to know);2. When we arrived, we were then told the only parking available was valet for $27/night (room rate + valet + and for people that are not from CA they have an occupancy & tourism tax... which made it closer to $270/night) and that location does not offer anything that lavish - we were visiting family for health reasons;3. They do not offer free WI-FI (we used our own hotspot but I think it was $12/day);4. This hotel is not kid-friendly... there is not a vending machine on the floor, no convenience store, the pool is small and without a hot tub, the bathrooms in the rooms are NOT very private (barn door track that leaves an inch opening, yes, you can see someone in the shower) + a long mirror in front of the barn door bathroom door so you absolutely need to keep it closed if you want any privacy (we were traveling with our 17 year old and 3 year old - so some privacy was crucial with our 17 year old);5. Walls are thin - we had a few rough nights above us... I swear I thought the gym was above us because it sounded like kids jumping off bunkbeds6. Speaking of the gym... where is it? This hotel lacks signs... no signs in the elevator or in waiting areas to tell you where anything is. The only reason I found the gym was because I looked UP...7. Elevator... sometimes you need your key card for the elevator to work and other times you can push your floor level without needing to scan it?8. Save your ticket number for valet otherwise it will take longer to retrieve;9. We stayed for 5 days & 4 nights with my husband and I and are two kids... not having a mini refrigerator, cups for drinking water (finally had to call and ask room service for them) and NO housekeeping was absurd and maddening;10. Because we never had housekeeping over a 4 night stay, I had to call each time for extra towels, soap, and toilet paper... which just leaves me to #11...11. For such a nice hotel, one would think they would have softer toilet paper;12. The light switches in the rooms are my nemesis... there are TWO MASTER switches... one by your bed and one by your door... the lovely power off switch will turn off EVERY light (yes, including the bathroom if someone else is using the toilet or taking a shower)... happened multiple times;13. Breakfast downstairs was just OK, we preferred to go somewhere else where we did not have to deal with flies on our food (flies are EVERYWHERE!)Let me just say... that if it was just me and my husband, we would stop by to enjoy the bar area 100%, it is beautiful... its hip and would be a great place to hold an event in their courtyard, they have live music from time to time... its a cool vibe without question. I believe they have high-tea that would have been lovely to enjoy in their suede blue lounge chairs (super cool)... their cocktails were yummy, they have a great cocktail bar menu... so its a fun place to swing by and enjoy a drink and see whats happening... theres a fairly LARGE construction site in front of their entrance (looks like a lot up and coming - luxury condos, restaurants etc.) so I think that will add a lot to this property once that is completed (a few years I would imagine?)... this property has a lot of contemporary beautiful details that they hit on the nail - very well done but this is not a hotel my family and I will be staying at again

Le Méridien is a new hotel/restaurant in town, its right across the street from the Santa Anita Racetrack. We decided to come in for happyhour cocktails and appitizers. Since, I hadnt eaten all day, I ordered the salmon meal which was a bit dry but tasty. The cocktail I ordered was good and the service was great. My happy hour friends enjoyed the appitizers they ordered. At the end, we decided wed celebrate our yearly Christmas luncheon at their restaurant so we reserved our luncheon date and were looking forward to returning for our luncheon. One last thing, there was entertaining in the bar area where we were seated; the young singer was excellent, we truly enjoyed her selection of music.

The next day our family was at funeral my Fendi sunglasses disappeared out of valet parked car that is only available no self park. Notified desk they never called me and notified valet. I stood outside and watched the valets consistently and aggressively zoom the cars around in 1st and 2nd gear.The valet stalled my car rounding the corner to the guest entrance.He revved out 1st and revved out 2nd in my car, and stalled the car to a stop.Valet is the only method of parking here and is currently $10/hour.I can only imagine everything else with the valets like this.Dont bother.

5 stars because it is in our immediate neighborhood. It seems to be a downscale version of other Meridien hotels Ive stayed at. The bar area is lovely. We shared a carafe of watermelon sangria and it was delicious. We ate edemame and enjoyed the grand lobby. I then ordered a sauvignon blanc and my fiance a port, and we enjoyed it with a piece of delicious apple pie. We hope to enjoy high tea there soon. One thing, there is chex mix at the bar but no one offered any. Whats with the chex mix?

This place is freaking NICE. I stayed here on New Years Eve and there was a DJ in the lobby. The music was fun and the atmosphere was fun. They only have valet parking so youre going to have to tip the valet but you dont have to pay for parking so thats nice. This is by far the nicest hotel Ive ever stayed at.
