Due to some unfortunate circumstances I had 3 different CPS cases over 4 years. Each time, I hired attorney Vince Davis for all my cases. Each time he came to court and got all my kids returned to me. It quickly became apparent, this guy is a monster in court.My current spouse had a family law custody battle she hired Davis. The trial was today, and as expected he won, hands down. His skill as a trial lawyer, examining and cross examining witnesses, is far above the regular attorney.This guy is a five star lawyer.

I am a real person and client of attorney Vince Davis. I hired Davis for 2 cases and I am very very satisfied with his work in and out of court, and his professionalism. My child was stolen by DCFS/ CPS, he got me the child back. And it was a real fight against the social workers. He then got the case closed and DCFS out of my hair. I then hired him to do my divorce and we are progressing nicely in that case as well. Id highly recommend him and his law firm, and give him 5 stars.

A Trash Firm by A Trash Attorney. Vince doesnt care to help you, he only cares about what he believes is best for him, which is widening his pockets! He will overcharge you for work he doesnt do. Never cared about me or my family, didnt care to get us back together, just wanted to not do anything on my case. Case went from $10,000, to being secretly charged over $55,000!

I had a zoom meeting with Mr. Davis and I explained my situation. He asked me if I wanted to be represented and I said I could not afford it. I was told it would be based on contingency. I signed a contingency contract with his law office. I got one email in 3 years. Today I got an invoice for 15,000.

This so called law firm is a joke they dont do anything besides do everything wrong unethical attorney behavior I made a $10,000 payment bank to bank transfer then claim that no payment was ever made trying to charge more money. I fired them dont want to loose my kids for there ethical violations and untrained staff.

This law office allows attorneys to take advantage of vulnerable people trying to get their children back. They ripped me off for $40k and did nothing to protect my rights or my children. Jennifer Ani lied to me throughout my case and blamed me for her not doing her job. Please avoid these people they are not good.

Mr. Davis and Ms. G are amazing! they helped my sister regain custody of my niece and nephew. We are grateful for attorney Davis and Ms. G.; Ms. G. is the Queen of my familys heart forever! Her passion and devotion to helping others and always available for my sister any time of the day or night. I have never experienced this type of care from any law firm before. Some of the negative reviews I read about attorney Davis are complete lies, Davis and Ms. G. were never rude or mean to us and we spoke to attorney Davis several times before we hired him. Ms. G. once said, Some parents can be their own worst enemy . Ms. G. is 100% on track... When I hired Mr. Davis I had already been poorly represented by the court appointed attorney who submitted to jurisdiction (which at the time I did not know what it meant), in doing so, the court was trying to offer by pass services and had already had my children assessed for adoption. Just to clarify my children where wrongfully kidnapped from me by CPS. After 5 months into the case and my children being removed and stuck with a court appointed attorney who was best friends with the court social worker that took my kids, I was fortunate to have found Mr. Davis and hired him before the next court date. Immediately Mr. Davis personally went to work on my case and was able to find the numerous errors and mistakes that CPS have made. Since then, Mr. Davis has been to every single court appearance and we win our trial against CPS, and my children are home. Hiring Mr. Davis was the best money ever spend on my kids, fighting them and my family when an absolute injustice fall upon us. Thank you Mr. Davis, you are truly a blessing to my family.

Amazing 1 and 1/2 years with dcfc public defender nothing had my four sons in my custody for the whole time and did everything required and still the s.w. came in the night and took my kids for 7 days till the emergency hiring and with in that week I retained Mr Vincent law firm and they had the judge order my kids back that day also closed my case in two months if I didnt retain this firm Im sure my kids would still be gone from me God bless them

Vince Davis is my guardian angel. DCFS has taken my kids twice in the last few years, in different cases. When Davis appeared in court, he showed the judges why the children should be returned to my care. And they were immediately retuned to my custody.This time I’m going to take his advice and sue these lying DCFS social workers.Davis has also handled various other cases for family members, always with great successes.If you have a CPS/ DCFS case you better call this guy. I found Mr Davis on Google and called into his radio station. His show is incredible and after he listened to my story he had me call his office to make an appointment. Upon walking into the office, the first thing I noticed how welcoming it is and professional. He was very patient, understanding, and caring. When it came to court, he shined. He is beyond intelligent and explains everything as it goes and makes his clients feel very secure. His intelligence and wisdom is beyond what Ive seen in any other attorney. Was totally disappointed with a phone call regarding my child custody matter which was forwarded over to Vicente by his paralegal who is in the process of fighting for her own kids regarding CPS which in my own opinion gives much clarity to Vincent Davis and his stature of being a family attorney. he was very unprofessional he should understand and know a lot of people who call to ask about legal representation regarding CPS Vincent should know parents will be at a level that is aggravatlying high. he needs to understand the nature in which a parent and their feelings will be when CPS lies two family court services after taking someones kids. Vincent gave no Outlook to his background or to the cases he handles in California regarding CPS. He becomes very aggressive when you ask questions. in my opinion he is not an attorney you turn to when your kids and CPS are involved. 45k is way too much money for an attorney who does not give the proper Insight to his knowledge of child custody or outcomes incases regarding cps he has taken on in the past. The lack of is a reflection of his abilities as an attorney.

Vincent Davis helped in my Juvenile Dependency case and believed in me from the very beginning. Now, way sooner than predicted, I am back in my home with my son and fiance and able to be a mother before I missed out on too much. I was looking at not being in the home with him until he was at least a year old, but I was back by the time he was a little over six months. I also have recommended him to numerous friends in my program going through juvenile dependency cases and a couple other people with civil or family law matters. They also hired him and are very pleased. In this short time he was able to help and close at least three other cases with people that I know personally. My children were wrongfully snatched from me and were placed into foster care immediately. I hired Mr Davis to represent me in a cps case against my daughter. the social worker had a nasty attitude and she kept lying to me about the proceedings and the process so I decided it was best to get a lawyer. yes he is pricey yes the attorneys are busy but you get what you pay for. the cheap comes out expensive in the end. his prices are fair considering the amount of work and research they(the associates) do. they make you feel like family and not a bonus check. I liked Mr Davis so much I hired him again. he doesnt make false promises, he does what he says hes going to do. If he doesnt think the goal is attainable he wont lie to you and say it is just to get your money. I love this firm, everyone is like family.

It is already unfortunate that you have to go through such pain but not to have experience lawyers on your side is worse. Yes the price is high and the stress on how to pay is great but you dont want to battle the county with a court appointed lawyer!! I was privileged to have Denise Adigun defend me on getting my daughter back. My 11 year old daughter made up some stories to me about her dad (stepfather) for me to kick him out and her & I to stay with the house as I was planning on leaving him and moving out. I fell for it and confronted him and kicked my husband out, then she admitted she made it up because she didnt want to move away from her school and friends. No big deal right?, wrong! she hinted to an old time friend that she seen as an aunt to her about the things she made up. Well that friend didnt get the last part that she had made it up and called CPS to have her dad (stepfather) arrested. All this seems like it would be an easy case and my daughter would be returned right away if not never taken over a misunderstanding, right? WRONG again! They removed my daughter, added to the story to even get a warrant to have her removed in the first place. They said I was a drug addict, I knew of the abuse and allowed it and that I myself belittled my daughter. The court made me take parenting classes and take counseling all while my daughter was placed in a foster home. My court appointed lawyer seemed more lost every time I seen him (15 minutes at court) than I did. I was terrified, my husband left, I lost my home and my car but most of all I lost my job from the distress I was going through. I was given 2 hour supervised visits once a week. 8 months later will be when I finally get my baby home. I lost everything because someone decided to make that phone call to CPS. CPS is meant to keep families apart and if you are in a situation that they are involved - DO NOT HESITATE!, have the Law offices of Vincent Davis on your side and defend you. You will feel as if a huge load is lifted from your back. I am not saying they will immediately solve your problems but they are well equipped to do so. Its sad to see the families at court that have no means but to have a court appointed lawyer and the sadness I see in their face as they walk out empty handed so defeated. I came to this law firm completely broken! My worst nightmare had been realized; my children were taken. Mr. Davis has been the calm, in what can be best described as a tsunami of a situation. I suggest everyone to please go to the website of The Los Angeles County Superior Court and for only a dollar, perform a case search by name. Youll find Vincent W Davis is the plaintiff to an endless amount of lawsuits he has filed against his own clients. Thats correct, he will do nothing for you with your juvenile dependency case but fraudulently bill you for things his office never did. Double billing, wrongfully charges you with other clients time in court, ect. Then after he lost your case and your child forever, hell come back to sue you double the fraudulent amount of charges. File A RICO Complaint, if hes done this to you. This is a pattern of injustice and we as parents have a duty to break it up.

All attorneys are NOT the same. Having been involved in 2 big trials in the last 2 years, I now understand what my attorney, Vince Davis has told me and that is that all attorneys have a license to practice law. But what differentiates trial lawyers is training and experience.I watched Vince win the first trial and I picked up on certain elements of his training in that trial but I really didn’t appreciate that training and experience as I felt, yeah, he’s good at what he does but we should’ve won anyway and we did!In this second trial, a much bigger case and probably the most important case of my life, I listened to Vince in the court room, watched him implement a strategy and watched him predict exactly what the jury was going to do. It was amazing! At one point, I seriously felt the opposing attorney was winning but Vince reassured me that everything would be alright as I was almost gasping for air. Vince skillfully questioned each witness with calm and grace. It was truly a skill that he’s developed and he damn good at it!As Vince stood in front of the jury giving his closing, he said he connected with the jurors as he has been taught by one of his mentors, Gerry Spence and we won!My advice is don’t go to trial with a lawyer that doesn’t at least have 20 years of trial experience AND a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College with the Trojan Horse Method of Trial Lawyers training.Vince tells me all the time, all attorneys know the law, but not all attorneys have the formal Training and Experience.

Had the pleasure of having Mr. Davis represent me when my cps case first started. After a couple appearances it got handed over to his associate and. Jennifer Ani l. Mr. Davis is firm and very intelligent. He will tell you what to do and will not ever give you bad advice due to his experience in this very complex and intimidating area of law. Jennifer Ani represented me the rest of the way through my case. She is also a very experienced attorney and very firm and well respected. You can tell from how everyone responds to her when she speaks. She fought so hard for my family and didn’t stop until we ultimately got the results we wanted. You as the client have to put in work in this area of law as well, but, I would not want anyone else in my corner facing cps. I can’t thank this Firm enough for what they’ve done for me and my family and helping us get our kids back in a very unfortunate case. I wish I could give this firm 100 stars!

I am VERY disappointed with the Vincent W. Davis and Associates and their billing department. When we signed the agreement I was promised that any unused potion of my retainer would be returned to me. My case was a family maintenance plan that was transferred due to moving and only required representation at the acceptance and dismissal hearings. I paid the retainer, Mr. Davis showed up to the acceptance hearing and I nor the Social work heard from the firm until the day of the dismissal when another attorney from the firm represented me. I never received a monthly statement even though I called several times asking for one. My case has been closed over 2 months ago and I have yet to get any statements or refund of the balance of my retainer! I have called and talked to the receptionist and the accounting department continually getting the run around. I was finally told last week by accounting that Mr. Davis approved the refund of retainer and they were going to over night a check to me. A week later and no check and still no statement. I called today and was told I MUST have a phone conference with Mr. Davis himself to find out why I havent received my check.I am preparing to file a complaint to CA Bar Association.Information YOU need to know:* He was quick to take the case, and talked a great game of planning and strategizing.* They didnt reply to deadlines asked of the Social Worker.* They never set any meetings, discussed planning or strategy.* They never return phone calls* I never received any kind of statement as to status of my retainer* I still do not have the remainder of my retainer

Vincent will not appear at your hearings. He should state the partner attorney that will appear. You should meet with him or her. In my case, I had Judy Nguyen, who was very meek and timid lawyer. She did not speak up for me at all. She mostly offered a general objection when it was her turn to speak. I would not recommend this office at all! They only refunded me about $500 after I fired them. I paid them $7,000. They only did about 2 hearings for me. The public defender that we had in most cases was much better.

I hired Vince Davis in late March 2015, after I had my last juvenile court hearing. He and his office started working on my case immediately to try and reverse the damage to my case done by my court appointed attorney. The first thing he did was file a 23 page appellate writ & brief, and now he is filing more motions with the trial court to try and regain custody of my child. I wish I had hired Mr. Davis from the beginning. He and his firm are amazing.

Do not use this attorney. He took $6000 and did nothing. Never appeared in court. Filed my appeal late therefore was rejected. Then he tried to sue me for $12000 more. He did not show up to hearing because I threatened to file a claim with bar association. Every time called his office they were not available. Then they would email me and charge for that too. I never got my grandchdren back.he does not care about our families. Its all about money.

Do not use this attorney if you want to be contacted, have them speak on your behalf, or get information regarding investigation/case. Attorney made contact after 2 weeks of receiving retainer after numerous calls to the office. Once contact was made there was little done to progress the investigation. I was told contact was attempted to a CPS worker on several occasions, but no dialogue was made. I went forward on my own to terminate the investigation with no assistance from the attorney. Please find someone else if you want any kind of results.

Vincent Davis and Denise Adigun caused me to lose my children forever. CPS removed my children because I was the victim of domestic violence. I am not on drugs, alcohol, Im not a welfare mom, teen parent, etc. I had physical evidence of social worker misconduct, false allegations, abuse of my children by the Foster mother, and I called Vincent Davis who promised that he would personally get my children back immediately. As soon as I paid $9,000, the case was given to another attorney who refused to present evidence, show that 6 hours late for a hearing, would send substitutes, refused to meet with me except in the hallway of Court 5 minutes before hearing, did not return any phone calls, would not return my call when I had seven days to appeal so I lost the right to appeal, refuse to put Witnesses on the stand or subpoena them, would yell at me and threatened to leave me with no attorney, made me write all the Motions that she submitted, did not do anything about witnesses that were lying, allowed the social worker to perjure herself because she didnt want to be stuck in traffic so she wanted to leave court early. Vincent Davis and Associates is the worst Law Firm I have ever heard of. My father is an attorney my friend is an attorney and even though they do not practice in the same specialty, they are horrified by the absolute unprofessional behavior and misconduct of Vincent Davis and Associates. If you hire Vincent Davis be prepared to never see your children again.

I want tell you the reason for the 2 stars was that the outcome and the cost. I believe Mr Davis is a fine lawyer especially in the areas that he specializes in his front man or case manager Burt Johnson is one of the most informed and sympathetic individuals you would ever want to meet as a matter of fact speaking with Mr Johnson was the reason I decided to hire the firm he was confident. friendly and knowledgeable about my problem. The retainer wasnt cheap but I figured in order to win I would have to pay a little more for what I felt at the time was the best. I didnt get Mr. Davis to represent me nor did I get Burt Johnson whom I would have happy if it were he representing me, instead I was given Stephanie Davis a very accomplished lawyer with a long list of credits, unfortunately I found her to be a bit cold and condescending and after paying what was to me a lot of money I ended up being forced out of my home and it was while out of my home that the firm asked for more money to continue, at that point i had to make a decision to cut my losses. I decided to let the firm go and move forward on my own and thats what I did and have been doing. Now in Mr Davis defense I came to them a little late and should have retained them earlier and maybe I would have fared better I actually appreciate the way Mr Davis and Mr Johnson operate as well as there office all very professional and courteous,

We had an exceedingly negative experience with the Law Offices Of Vincent W Davis & Associates.My wife & I are former foster/adoptive parents. Last year, DCFS placed a very dangerous & mentally disturbed 13-year-old foster girl in our home. DCFS was aware that she was violent, psychotic & sexually aggressive, but lied in order to get the girl placed. Because of this, we were put in a position where the child repeatedly sexually assaulted my wife, tortured our cats (paralyzing one cat & injuring another), physically assaulted & VERY nearly murdered both of us, until she was finally removed via ambulance & taken to a psychiatric hospital after claiming to be possessed by demons she saw in a mirror.After she was removed, we filed a police report for sexual battery & assault. The day after the LAPD detective spoke to her, our foster daughter retaliated by filing an allegation against us, but community care licensing would not give us details.We retained the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates for $3600 to file a lawsuit against DCFS & paid a second retainer of $6000 to learn what the allegation was & defend us.Attorney Stephanie Davis of the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates was assigned to our case. We wrote up a 70-page long retelling of the abuse we suffered at the h&s of our foster daughter & DCFS, along with supporting documents, including demonic drawings & emails to social workers begging for emergency mental health services.Attorney Stephanie Davis ignored us & refused to respond to any attempts at communication for an entire month.After mentioning the breach of fiduciary duty to the receptionist at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates, attorney Stephanie Davis finally called & admitted she thought my emails ‘might have had a virus’ so she never opened them.After two months of almost no communication between the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates & community care licensing, the case was referred to LAPD, who then called us. Attorney Vincent W Davis instructed us to have the officer contact him directly.On May 29th, the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates called us & attorney Vincent Davis asked if he was representing us in the “criminal case”. We were shocked & his behavior was strangely guarded & ‘cryptic’. We initially said ‘yes’ (assuming that they would first exhaust the retainers we’d paid), but then he demanded a third $7500 retainer.Attorney Vincent Davis is aware that we both suffer from severe PTSD & anxiety from our ordeal. Calling us at night with a tone that we interpreted as ‘panicked’ felt like a ploy to scare us into giving him more money. He claimed to have spoken to the police detective, however we later learned from the detective that this was not true & that she never once spoke to anyone from the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates.We requested that the other two retainers be exhausted before paying him more. Vincent threatened to tell the detective that we were unrepresented unless we gave him another $7,500.We became suspicious that our retainers were being kept while no work was being done. I sent the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates a concerned, yet polite email requesting a copy of our file to obtain a second opinion from another firm.Attorney Vincent Davis retaliated by cancelling our contract in the middle of an active case. Attorney Vincent Davis CC’ed his entire staff at the Law Offices of Vincent W Davis & Associates to stop all work on our cases & they then ignored all attempts at communication from May 30th until around a week later. Meanwhile, I filed a dispute on both retainer charges with my credit card company.We never received our file or an itemized bill & have reported them to the California State Bar for ethics violations. We have also submitted for reimbursement of the stolen retainers from the state bar’s client fund.It took our new attorney less than a week to learn what the allegation was & take big steps towards resolving it. It was so… ‘goofy’ and obviously untrue.

I recently received a denial letter from the court to allow me to see my children and get them back. Mr. Davis asked me to pay $3000 to do an appeal on my caseWhen I finally get to talk to someone in the office after trying to get ahold of them for a week they call me back to tell me they want $7600 dollars more to appeal my case. An appeal based on a decision to deny me after the filing that they prepared.So essentially theyve already lost my case to an extent and now want $7600 dollars from me in addition to the $6000 that Ive already paid them.Im a furloughed ( twice now ) hospitality employee during this pandemic. I feel that my kids and my case are being held at a ransom of $11,600 dollars.Im an unemployed waitress at the moment due to the pandemic and this is what they expect of me.I feel extremely defeated and let down by these people.Plus I hired them the end of January and have had to wait all this time.Essentially theyve let down my children, and myself.And on top of that Ive had to email or call them at least 10 times for every single time Ive received a response to any of my questions. A nightmare, thats all I can sayFurthermore I am also a survivor of domestic violence. This whole situation should have never happened to begin with. The foster mother of my children is in jail, heading to prison for attempted murder of my daughter and torture to both my son and daughter. And DCFS and the court are still denying there right to be with there mother and my right to be with my children,...No justice for my kids or my family. Just more heartbreak

I am very disappointed with the billing department. When we signed the agreement there was no mention of travel fees. I expected to be charged the attorneys hourly fee of approx 350.00 per hour. They charged 1,540.00 for driving from LA to SD!! That is not including court time and other charges which includes emails, phone calls, sitting while waiting to be called into court. Promises were made before the case was reviewed which led me to believe we would have a better outcome. This law firm has 1 other complaint filed at the BBB that was unresolved regarding billing. I attempted to verify payments using my banks bill pay system which they refused to acknowledge. There is no way I am handing this firm my credit card info. Buyer beware!

The first attorney sent out, Yolanda R. did not even contest the detention hearing for my son. I am sure this was to make more money.The following hearing and subsequent hearings Sam Ziselman represented me.He was quite rude in emails to me. He did not follow through on anything. Seemed completely confused while he was asking questions. I told him I did a full background check on my Ex-husbands wife who claimed to be a Cop and that she was not.
