Yana was amazing with me. She saw me twice for consultations over the course of about six months to a year. She had a great plan for me in terms of moving forward with a divorce, however, my husband and I decided to work it out and we are still together today. Even though we decided to work it out, Yana was supportive, well wishing and refunded my entire retainer .

Where to begin… I thought it was a smart idea to try and represent myself through my divorce, well as you can imagine it wasn’t. Things starting going downhill and a trial date was set, which put me into “search” mode for a Divorce Attorney. Several searches, phone calls and consultations were made looking for the right person to represent me. I reached out to Yana and she made time to meet me a few days later to discuss my case (keep in mind a trial date was set 90 days out). After we met she made it 100% clear that time was not in my favor and we needed to get to work fast and set up a game plan, which she did an amazing job at.Yana is very professional, honest and knowledgeable, she does not sugarcoat it and tell you what you want to hear, she gives you the pros and cons of each situation and her recommendation on how to move forward. She honestly looks out for her clients when it comes to the cost, she has very good time management skills.Long story short, we tried to settle before the trial date, but the other Attorney was non responsive and threw a pointless offer out on Friday when trial was set for Tuesday. We ended up going to trail and the other attorney decided she wanted to now start negotiating a settlement, the Judge sat in his chambers while we went back and forth for 3+ hours and finally came to an agreement.Hands down Yana is the BEST!!!! I don’t know where I would be if I didn’t hire her. If you are looking for a Divorce attorney, look no further she is the one!

Yana is professional and matter of fact. She respects your time and will advise you to save your emotion for your counselor. (Lawyers charge more per hour than therapists... ;) ) She was transparent throughout the entire process. I was not interested in waging war in my divorce but rather wanted to settle quickly and kindly. She did this impeccably. My settlement took less than 3 months and my legal status will change at the start of the new year. My ex and I are on good terms and life is starting to take on a brighter hue. I have asked Yana to work with me on some modifications once again. She has worked with me several times over the past 7 years. I continue to go to Yana for my legal matters because she always pays attention to detail, listens to what I am concerned about and tells me what can work and what cannot work based on the current law; not just based on her opinion. Shes great at suggesting solutions but allows me to decide on whether to move forward with those ideas or not. I cannot thank Yana enough. She saved the day for me. I first hired another attorney in the area who turned out to be completely incompetent. He did not return messages, did not update me on anything. I had to eat my loss on that which was huge. I went with Yana and she closed my case quickly. She replied to phone calls and emails very fast. She kept me up to date with everything. She not only worked quickly, but made sure to use the retainer money wisely. Made an appointment for a consultation and 1 week before the appointment I had people I know, who knew nothing about my situation asking me why I need an attorney, they kept saying this is a small town people talk. I was a victim of severe abuse. I made an email appointment with her for a certain time, 1:30 p.m.. I showed up early for my appointment at 1:30 p.m., all the while my abusive ex was calling me wondering where I was (as they do) I show up at 1:30 p.m., the assistant lets me know that I am late for my 1:00 appointment. I am shamed, and made to seem unprofessional for showing up late. MAYBE they can fit me in.She told me there was not much she could do for my situation, and it was not helpful. She made me feel more helpless than when I came in to her office. I was made to wait extra time in the waiting room, which I did not have, because they had double booked appointments. I had to rush through an explanation of my very extreme situation, which in itself was a traumatic, only to be met with indifference and no answers.I later looked at the emails, and the appointment time was for 1:30 and she was actually incorrect and had shamed me and made me feel helpless for no reason.after that point, I messaged her and said by the way my appointment time was actually for 1:30 pm., Which was correct. They incorrectly scheduled my appointment then shamed me for being late.She never responded, or acknowledged the fact that she was wrong.She made me feel effectively more alone than I had before the time I walked into her office which I thought was impossible.Thanks a lot, Yana.Edit: damn straight no one from this office represented me 😂😂😂 no one did. I got out of this situation alone, and the one time I reached out for help was to this lawyer. She made me feel like my situation was a lost cause, and it was absolutely not the receptionist that was cold, dismissive and unhelpful. It was Yana.This lawyer MIGHT be alright if you are in a situation that does NOT require urgency, or compassion as mine did. My encounter with her made me fully understand why people dont like lawyers, and I try very hard not to generalize that way. Its the reason that I still havent approached a lawyer since, and will do my best to represent myself in all future situations. Ill keep my thousands and talk to the courts thanks, they are much more helpful and informative than this person was to me.

The California divorce system isnt easy. Its long and drawn out. When kids are involved its even more long and drawn out. As a man the system is even furthermore not built in your favor. So it pays to get an attorney that can fight for your rights. Yana helped me with my divorce, child custody, and spousal support case. When it came time for us to present the case to the judge in court...Yana came through big time. She presented the facts that would help me and with the way the court system works and the legal mumbo jumbo she really performed big time.
