I never thought I would need an attorney after my car accident, but am so glad that my friend referred me to Matthew Pare. I had been rear ended on the freeway. I had been calling the insurance to try and get a personal injury claim open, but the insurance company wouldnt return my call. The day after I met with Matthew they were willing to open a case. It was only soft tissue damage so the insurance agency was reluctant to pay for the therapy that my back and neck needed. Matt handled my injury claim and I was not familiar with the process at all. So many emotions and feelings of uncertainty made it harder. Matt is local, which made it easier considering my claim.When I pulled up to his office, I sat in my car not sure what to expect, but Im glad I went in. Right away we discussed why I was there, he listened to everything I had to say, asked me questions that showed interest in me without making me feel like I did something wrong. By the end of our initial conversation, he made it clear that he was confident I was not in the wrong and other party was responsible.In the end, I am glad I stuck with Matt and waited it out. I was charged with showing a MMA fight at my brewery. Someone at a BBQ cook-off indeed showed the fight outside without our knowledge. Unbeknownst to me, I was liable for the actions of others, it being on my property. In my opinion, Joe hand productions and their agents are vile human beings that exploit peoples ignorance of the existing laws, but Im glad Mr. Paré contacted me to represent us. While none of this was cheap, I think we got off with a good deal due to Mr Parés expert advice and dealings with these snakes. Take heed business owners - you can (and will) be held liable for UFC fights shown at your business - even in the corner of your property. Joe Hand hires agents, presumably working on some sort of commission, to monitor social media and postings to see if an offense is likely to occur.Mr. Paré handled everything in a timely and super professional matter and walked me through this irritating process. I am super glad I had him as an attorney, as I was blindsided by an unscrupulous group that instead of trying to protect their intellectual property, seems to seek out cases they know small businesses cant defend.

Ive been driving for over 25 years with a safe driving record but unfortunately I was struck head on while waiting in a center devide. I whipplashed and the front of my car was dented inward and was declared totaled.
