Hired Attorney Jimmy Cha in April of 2023 for a domestic violence case I had caught.. First impression he is very professional and straight forward with honesty towards case.. he never made it an option to agree to any deals with court as other attorneys I spoke to prior to him did. As my case was being fought throughout the months he always kept checking in with me and always was available for any questions or doubts I had. Today January 2024 my case was dismissed and free of charges. It feels almost unreal that this was the result when more than three attorneys prior to him said there was no way I was walking out of court clean! Hats off to Jimmy and his work ethic! Once again thank you Jimmy!

Being able to work with Jimmy was truly a great experience!Initially this was an old case that I had hope to put behind me, however, it kept finding a way to creep back into my life and when my previous attorney said nothing could be done I initially lost all hope. I remember meeting Jimmy and remembered him being a defense attorney and thought it was worth asking.I reached out during the weekend not really expecting a response until Monday, but he immediately called me and asked me about my case. I gave him a brief description and he was able to put me at ease and said he would happily take on the case.To be honest, I was hesitant at first as my previous attorney said nothing could be done, but something in me told me to just go with it and I’m sure glad I did. Not only was he extremely professional and communicative throughout the entire process, he was able to get my so called “unfixable” issue resolved. Jimmy came to the rescue. After a horrible experience and firing the first attorney I hired, I called Jimmy. I was facing considerable jail time, and explained the whole situation to him. He immediately took my case without question or doubt. His confidence and supreme experience came into clutch throughout the entire court process. Unlike my previous attorney, Jimmy was always responsive and always on time to all of my court hearings, which goes a long way to me. He really batted for me and worked really hard on my case. After over 2 years of fighting my case, Jimmy was able to save me from any jail time and I was able to keep my drivers license. I made a mistake and ended up in a criminal matter. It was very shocking because I have a clean record. I also had little idea on what to do and how to navigate the process correctly. I highly recommend Jimmy as a criminal defense lawyer in the OC area. My goal was for my case was dismissal, and Jimmy successfully got my case dismissed.For my attorney search, I scoped out to 4 lawyers, and Jimmy was my confident choice for a few reasons. He is not only highly proficient in keeping up to date in the amending OC laws, but he’s also extremely knowledgeable and efficient in navigating through the OC court system.1. Local knowledge of Anahiem court system - After I provided details of my case during my consultation call, he gave me a very detailed run down of the court that my arraignment was to take place (changes in judge rotations, arraignment room number, pre-trial room, etc…). He’s been practicing law in OC since 2004 and is ingrained in the local judicial community (active member in North County Bar Association). I felt assured that he had a good reputation with the Anahiem lawyer community (lawyers and judges). Jimmy also informed me that his office is a mile away from North Justice Center and that he represents all of his clients (no associate substitute).2. Ease of communication - Because Jimmy works directly with all of his clients (no associates), I had direct access to him via phone, text, and email. He answered all my questions within the day. It was my first time getting a DUI and I had no idea what to do. My brother in law generated a list of attorneys and we started calling for any help/advice/consultation Some of the attorneys I spoke to had a bland demeanor that tossed any sense of optimism, which is something anyone would need in that situation. Jimmy Cha was the was last person on the list to call and there was a vast difference to his tone of voice than the others. He listened to my story and he responded with such comfort. He didnt say he would make it go away, but he said he would help me get through it from beginning to end. He even encouraged me to call other attorneys to compare and then decide. Of course, I decided to go with hiring him as my attorney and he kept his word. I was wrongfully accused of elder abuse that resulted in death. It was a very humiliating and frightening experience for me. A lot of people recommended attorneys to me. At the advice of my friend, I was told to give Jimmy Cha a call, and that hell take care of me. Im so glad that I did! From the very beginning, Jimmy was very easy to talk to, and was very understanding of my situation. He really seemed to care and wanted to help me out. Jimmy Cha is a life saver! Needed a criminal defense attorney for someone who found themselves on the other side of the law. Recently I was facing a serious felony and two years state prison time, and upon hiring Jimmy Cha, he was able to get a plead to a misdemeanor with no jail time and community service at an organization of my choosing. He seriously cared about my case and was honest and assured he will do his best possible. Jimmy Cha is the best!Hes got your back !I was arrested for my 3rd DUI in Fullerton, a separate charge of driving on a suspended license for the 4th time, and 3 probation violations. One of the probation violations required 120 days in jail as I previously violated probation on that case before. I was suppose to go to the North Justice Center in Fullerton for the 2 new cases and the probation violations. I didnt know what to do.I was looking at 1 year in jail on the 3rd DUI, 180 days on the driving on the suspended license since this was my 4th, 120 days on one probation violation, and who knows how much more time on the other 2 violations.I spoke to some of my friends, and they all referred me to Jimmy saying he was the best criminal defense lawyer around. They werent lying.He was easy to get a hold of. Easy to talk to. And he was very straight forward and honest with me. He really batted for me. He was able to dismiss the 3rd DUI, clump up all the cases together, and now instead of going to jail, I have to do 120 days of house arrest. That is it! Jimmy really batted for me and kept me out of jail. I seriously thought I had no other choice but to go to jail based on my priors and probation terms that required jail terms if I violated them. Jimmy really worked hard for me, and after almost a year, the cases and probation violations have finally ended with no jail time.He really cares about your case, and knows how to move around the court at the North Justice Center, as Ive seen him speak to prosecutors and judges, as if he knew them personally. I was falsely accused of a Domestic Violence assault relating to a Divorce. Jimmy Cha was not only able to get these charges dropped, but also was able to stop the DA from even filing them in the first place, which greatly helped me in the Family Court matter.Jimmy broke down the process from start to finish, how the system works & what I can expect at each stage. Recently I was charged with a 2nd DUI offense with an injury to 2 chp officers. I was facing a felony with a possible 3 years sentence in state prison and racking up thousands in fines. After going to more than numerous court dates, Jimmy stayed persistent and assured me he was going to do the best he could. With that being said, he was able to reduce the felony to a misdemeanor, my fees dropped to $500, and substituted jail time for house arrest. But due to my own fault in an house arrest violation, I had to go to county which I was later released within 48 hours.I am very happy to have chosen Jimmy to represent me, because even with the relentless DA on our case he was able to get a deal that was near impossible. I respect that he was thorough and very honest with me when giving advice. He treated me better than just a client and definitely took on my case with much care. Thanks again Jimmy for everything! First off, the professionalism Mr. Cha brings is extraordinary and very pleasing. It’s stressful going through court especially when one is not familiar with the system. Mr. Cha goes above and beyond to make sure you understand what’s going on and will LISTEN to what you have to say. This means a lot when dealing with a lawyer. He’s very informative and easy to get ahold of. He will make you comfortable and also really straight forward. I did not get legal representation from Mr. Cha. I called expecting to talk to a receptionist and he answered the phone saying hello.. I said is this an attorneys office? He said yes! How can I help? I explained my boyfriends situation and he looked up his case and gave me amazing advice. If I hadn’t talked to him we probably would have hired an attorney who just took our money but couldn’t do anything for us anyways. Mr. Cha was so polite and told me not to hire anyone. What attorney would tell you not to hire someone? If I ever needed legal help in the future I’d go to him and also recommend him. Don’t hesitate to call. He’s extremely nice and honest.

I had several misdemeanor probation violations, failure to appears, prior pleas that included jail time, several traffic tickets, with fees amounting to over $10,000, and about 2 years of jail hanging over my head in 2 different counties.
