I promise I’m not a spam reviewer. I can to Derek and realized he was also a lawyer of another friend (who won) after I signed. He made the experience straightforward, always shared updates, made himself available… but more importantly was honest. He tries to find important points in the case but also has a real level of human interaction. He doesn’t play the part. He’s a real guy that actually cares (which I noticed was hard to find when I interviewed lawyers). During a possible in court date, he was even ableTo get me out of it midway because of work reasons. Even post court date and deliberations he was there for assistance. I usually trust no lawyers, but I loved him!

I found Derek Ewin to be very caring. His attention to detail and his expertise made us feel that we were in good hands. He shared the process of the system and just how he would and indeed did navigate us through. Derek was there from the BAIL process to the end. He gave us several referrals for the Bail Bond process that were very professional. This saved me from the sharks that were calling me every 3 hours-- (even all through the night)-- hounding us while we were so stressed out. Derek was calming. We are so great ful for his help and his excellent communication all the way through. I certainly hope I never need his services again, but I highly recommend him.

I found Derek Ewin online and contacted him for an issue with the Contra County Courts. Within a couple of hours I recieved a call from Derek and we discussed the issue concerning a Domestic Violence issue. Just by talking with him I felt totally comfortable that he actually cared about my situation and gave me some valuable insight how we could resolve this matter. I knew that he was the Lawyer I needed to represent me. He explained the costs would be and I can tell you for a fact that he was very fair with the cost. We started that day, I was amazed and very relieved. He stayed in contact and Derek help to resolve the DV issue and resolved it in a very timely manner. Am I happy with his representation? I couldnt be more pleased with Dereks representation and support through an awful and unjust experience I had. I did have a good outcome like he predicted in the end . His expertise and knowledge of the judicial system was comforting of course . Just as important though was his humanity and humilty. Out of at least a dozen lawyers around the bay area my girlfriend and I called, Derek was the only one who took the time to actually listen to our case and gave us advice before we hired him as a lawyer, everyone else didnt even want to know anything about our case if we didnt put a deposit or hired them, not only is Derek one of the most if not the most skilled defense attorney weve ever seen, but also he genuinely cares about his clients and is so good at what he does that he noticed when we were nervous or paralyzed with fear standing in a room with a judge and a district attorney that wanted to put you away and knew that even a little joke or reassuring us that everything was going to be fine was exactly what we needed to hear to relax and calm down a bit. The Very unusual case of the,Sonic weapon or sound cannon.Search: Long-Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) is an acoustic hailing device.My neighbors wanted my land and convinced a family court in Haywardthat I made and was using this thing on them.Every time they heard a leaf blower or a vacuum cleaner Thay called the police somany times, I was unable to live in my own home.I was arrested three times on misdemeanor charges. The best attorney I could have asked for always on top of everything and will make sure you are doing everything you need to to get threw your case he is very intelligent and knows what he’s doing he always make sure you understand what could happen and what can happen he is very good with the DA and he is very respected in the court room if I ever have any problem Derek would definitely be the one I call he got me out of 3 cases after I didn’t go to outpatient program the multiple times they had given me chances for and he still got 2 of the 3 cases droped plead to one charge and all I have is court probation for 2 years I was very happy to be represented by him it always seemed like he got more respect then most lawyer that we’re there either way he definitely worth sitting down and talking to before you get someone that doesn’t really care about you so they don’t worry about you getting in trouble or not Derek is very understandable and you can tell him anything and it stays confidential and he doesn’t judge on mistakes you’ve made I think he’s the best and would recommend him over any and everyone else
