I liked the assistance of the staff, Tiffany (nurse) was very careful, she made me feel confident, it was my first time so I was nervous but I gained confidence quickly. The girl in front (receptionist) speaks Spanish 🎉

I am getting my second treatment at this location. My first one was cool sculpting, and now it is clear and brilliant. My experience with the whole team is above and beyond; I cannot wait whenever I have to come for my treatment. This team of beautiful and cheerful ladies always makes my day. I feel pampered and excited every time I come here. They are very personable, greet me with my name, and offer the best attention; thats just me talking about the ladies working there. The treatments are so good, and I have noticed significant changes in 2 weeks. I was impressed with the clear and brilliant because, with only one treatment, my skin is glowing and looking incredible. Esmeralda, Gali, Glenda, and, of course, the rest of the team, thank you for being so awesome and giving me the best service. I genuinely feel my best friends have taken care of me.

This is my favorite LA center! The reception staff are extremely friendly and easy to schedule with.The nurses do a great job, and Ive had better results in a couple of months coming here compared to twice as many sessions at another location.Jayla and Sarah are the best here! They always do a very thorough job and make it a painless process!Theyre generally on-time and cancellations are rare here.My only complaint is the parking situation here isnt great but thats not their fault.

I just had a Clear and Brilliant treatment today at LaserAway in Emeryville, and I couldnt be happier with my experience. My nurse, Jackie, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly nice, professional, and friendly! honestly, the best nurse Ive ever had!I also want to give a huge shoutout to Glenda. She was so patient and professional, and she worked really hard to reschedule my appointment, making sure I could get my treatment done on time today. Im extremely grateful for her help.I also visited the San Ramon location for services, but their service just doesnt compare to the exceptional care I received in Emeryville. The difference in quality is significant, and I felt much more valued and taken care of at Emeryville.Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend LaserAway Emeryville. Had the best experience today. Got to my appointment 15 minutes early and was able to be seen right away. My nurse Jayla was so kind and nice. Answered all my questions and double checked with the clinical team about some new medication I was taking to make sure I could safely have my treatment. 10/10 best time today.

TLDR: one of the nurses used a wavelength intended for light/fair skin on me, which is really dangerous for dark skin like mine. I stopped her after a couple extremely painful zaps but now I have a dark purple mark in the area.There was a miscommunication where I thought I was called up by one of the nurses, but she actually had called a different name. She didn’t confirm I was the right patient with my name or DOB. She also didn’t verify that the wavelength being administered was appropriate for my skin tone. I complained after the first couple zaps that the pain was way more intense than usual, and she lowered the intensity but still didn’t consider the wavelength. One more zap and I said something was definitely wrong and asked her if the wavelength was set correctly. Instead of double checking that the wavelength made sense for my skin tone, she just went off the patient profile on the iPad. I have brown skin and the wavelength that was set is only meant for fair skin. Only after I insisted that something was wrong did we realize the mistake. I would expect a medical professional operating dangerous machinery to be more careful than that. I now have a dark mark in the area and I hope it doesn’t cause permanent damage/pigmentation.

SCAM! They LIED about the package they sold me, charged me $1500 more than agreed to. After 3 session I told them I didn’t want to continue because there were quite literally NO results. None of the women working there knew what they were doing, each one of them working on me felt completely different, often there was no pain at all and I’m like are you even getting anything??? I told them I wanted my money back for the sessions I hadn’t received yet and they refused. Unprofessional shoddy work that you would expect from a chain. I thought I was saving money but they scammed me. Please go anywhere else.

I’ve been getting laser done with laser away for years and recently switched over to this location for help but I’ve only had bad experiences. I called to make an appt and before saying anything Esmeralda tried to sell me maintenance packages when I know I had a couple sessions left, she said I had none left and told me to call the clinic I usually go to. So I called the other location and they told me I had 4 sessions left… they Lie to try to make you buy services… I’d rather do a longer drive to Dublin than the emeryville location. PUSHY AND RUDE

I love coming to Emeryville laser away only because I love having Jayla, Sarah and Ruva as my nurses. They take good care of me and are very patient with my pain level, and I grew to love those girls. They brought confidence in me and most importantly I’m blessed and thankful for the job they do!I can’t my front desk chicas!! Thanks to Galilea, Mimi, and Esmeralda!!!! I always come and chop it up with those beautiful ladies, laugh with them and grew a great relationship with them. My first appointment at LaserAway Emeryville was a positive, enjoyable and memorable experience! from arrival to departure I was treated like I was their only appointment and priority. how lovely is that?! Ale, at the front desk was friendly and professional. I got a chance to talk with, Mimi while I waited briefly, who was so sweet and personable. TREATMENT GONE WRONG! Beware - I had a treatment gone wrong and have been ghosted by LaserAway ever since I reported it - months ago. I’ve made multiple polite attempts to get help about it. No one gets back to me. All smiles when taking money for services, but no effort to help when a problem occurs. The notes below are what I sent them and NO ONE has gotten back to me. Very frustrating.-------------I had a problem with my service on May 30, 2023. Lip filler left a white splotch on my lip. I told the clinician about it on my next visit and she said it she must have injected too close to lip surface but that it should go way on its own. It did not. When I went in for a different service (on June 22, 2023) I reported the issue to the receptionist and then to my clinician (Christina). Christina acknowledged the issue, and said she was not sure why it happened and that it wasnt a usual outcome of lip fillers. She said she would contact the supplier and get back to me. On August 3, over a month later, I received a voice mail from Sarah Goodhardt (sp?) who said shes the lead nurse at Emeryville, finally checking in with me. When I tried to call back, the person who answered the phone in Emeryville said their was no one there by that name. After searching the directory for some time, she found the contact info for Sarah but would not give it to me. I never did hear from her. On August 22, Rebecca texted in reply to online request for answers. I texted her about what happened and she texted back: “Im so sorry to hear this. I submitted this to corporate, they should be reaching out in about 24-48 hours.” Again - NO REPLY. No one contacted me again. I have permanent damage to my lip. Its not super noticeable, but its there and two LaserAway clinicians have acknowledged it. No one is stepping up to help or address my issue. Completely unacceptable and very disappointing.I didn’t want to have to go Google Reviews or social media about it, but this is unacceptable and I need to let people know.

I would give 5 star for the receptionist and the nurse, they’re wonderful. However, I couldn’t get what I planned to get during the appointment because my seller(Katie) is messed up my orders. I was trying to reach her, text her, call her, her voice mail was full. I couldn’t get a hold of her. And it’s been days. This is very expensive sessions, she is not professional. Now, I couldn’t get it done at the same time, I have to come back for another session. I hope I could get a hold of her from here.

Won’t be booking any future treatments in this location. I had my 4th treatment of C+B and the nurse didn’t bother asking how was my last treatment, unlike the other location I have been to, where they make adjustments for you. The nurse did not bother assessing or asking at all. The level of intensity didn’t do it for me, I did not experience a sandpaper like within 2-4 days, besides redness after treatment.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Worst place to do laser hair removal. I have been charged a lot of interest because I forgot to update my card that was on file and my payment was two days late. I spoke with UGA, their financial company. UGA told me that they couldnt do anything for me and advice to talk to laser away because those are laser away policies and that I had to pay the interest. Laser away refused to reinstate my contract, and here I am stuck paying hundreds of dollars in interest. I have been their customer and have recommended them many of my friends, but I really regret having business here. I found a better and cheaper place. Better than these clowns who are always advertising a 70% discount and its not true, they can actually give you a 15% discount but thats about it. My first time doing laser hair removal. Gabrielle did my online consultation. I had lots of questions as I am generally cautious. She was absolutely wonderful, professional, and answered all my questions. She really knew what she was talking about. By time I had my appointment, I had questions about other services as well. Daniel (I think Im sorry if thats wrong!) answered all my questions in store while I waited for my appointment time. Shannon was the nurse who did my treatment. She was awesome. I was nervous! She walked me through what we were going to do and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She was super attentive to me and helped answer some follow up questions I had. The treatment felt like it said when I looked it up, like rubber bands hitting the skin. She was quick and encouraging throughout. Thank you guys !

I went to the Emeryville location. I was extremely nervous! Soon as I walked in the staff was beyond friendly and attentive. I went in for the Clear and Brilliant. They put the strongest numbing cream in my face. When it was time to do the procedure, they tell me that the machine is not working and there is nothing they can do. I had to leave with a numb face feeling all uncomfortable due to them not being diligent and making sure their equipment was working. I tried contacting them via phone and there support email and have not heard back for over a week. The support email doesn’t work too.

I purchased a brazilian laser hair removal package last year (8 sessions). I have had 7 appointments and they have double/triple booked me and tried to reschedule my appointment NEARLY EVERY SINGLE TIME. They have changed (or tried to change) 5 out of 7 appointments (the last time I refused). For my first appointment, they were trying to get me in ASAP even though I was in no rush. Kayla (who first signed me up) booked an appt which really didnt work for me. But she said, I quote, Lets circle back as we get close to then ... we have cancellations all the time! On the day before the appt, I asked her if a later time had opened up, and she booked one that was better for me. I always book my next one after the session finishes, and I always show up on time. HOWEVER, when I showed up for my 2nd appointment, they made me wait half an hour because they said I was late - even though I had just received a text from them the day before confirming that appointment time. So, there was some error in their system. For the 3rd, 5th, and 7th appts, either on the morning of the appt or the day before, I received either calls or texts from LaserAway requesting a change to the appointment time (not the day). Even though I had already confirmed my appt days before. For the 3rd and 5th, I replied to the texts saying no, I wanted to keep my scheduled time. But they changed it anyway. For the 7th, they called me, and I said no, because they have done this to me too many times. Every time it happened, I politely complained to the ladies at the desk when I arrived. They said their system has some issues and allows for double booking. After my 3rd, they said they put a note in my file and that it should happen less because their Oakland location opened. But they kept doing it. Albeit, one time they offered me a bag of sample products as compensation (although I didnt use/want them) and another time they gave me a free underarm laser treatment.I have never been double booked by a salon or beauty service - and I have had haircuts/color, waxes and hair removal for years - and this one has done it repeatedly. I see this both as an annoyance and also a lack of respect for clients time. It appears as though they value getting as many people in as possible to make the most money. The other thing that bothers me is about the financing, which can be done through Ally bank. Kayla told me I could set up autopay when you get an email from Ally Lending to set up your first payment in about 10 days. I never received this email. After 10 days had passed, I called up Ally and they said they sent a paper bill in the mail a few days before, and it could take 10 days to arrive. Well, it would have arrived around thanksgiving, when I was out of town, yet was due Dec 10. So instead of waiting for the paper bill, they gave me the account number over the phone so I could set up autopay online. This is really not good because for people who are not extremely credit-conscious like me, the bill could have easily slipped through the cracks. They just need to ensure clients receive the email.In summary: the ladies who work here are nice, and the treatments are reducing the hair (I am very light skinned with brown body hair). I have nothing against Kayla. She was extremely responsive and helpful when I had questions (although she did pressure me to buy more underarm treatments even though I have already had my underarms treated. The hair there is lighter and doesnt respond as well.) The machines they use are less painful than others because they blow cool air during the treatment. BUT I give this company 3 stars because of their faulty business practices. It is also very expensive.

V unprofessional experience, disorganized and ultimately embarrassing as they told me while I was there that my health was an issue and made me feel like it was my fault rather than them checking in on these things before I arrived. There are other places to receive these services that aren’t franchises were they actually take the time to treat people with care.

I have been trying for months to schedule a virtual meeting, I’ve never gotten a call back or email reschedule. I understand covid slowed things down but the level of incompetence is frustrating. I keep talking to different ppl same questions and answers Its like they don’t want new clients. Very unprofessional

I have no satisfaction at all, the first time they treated me very well, they recommended that I get my whole body done, (laser) I didnt want to, I wanted to try what it was like! As soon as I went to my first appointment, everything was fine. The second appointment was horrible. There were other receptionists and it was very disappointing. They wanted to change the appointment. At that moment, I was already there. I drive for a long time. I have small children. They dont know what its like to go and just because. They want or think of changing the time, it bothered me and I told them that I was very upset; At that moment I wanted to cancel everything, after that day they changed my schedule three times...its really disappointing.
