My PCs liquid cooling loop was in dire need of maintenance, and I was happy to come across Carlsbad Gaming PC repair to perform the service. Mark and his team were great, providing a quick diagnosis of the issues, and offering excellent additional suggestions to improve the system & protect its longevity in the process. I had an iPhone screen repaired there using a promo coupon I received in the mail, it was by far the lowest cost around. They did it in 2 hours and it was perfect. I had a second phone need the same repair and they were nice enough to ho or the price I had paid previously even though o had not found another promo coupon to use. Received the same prompt quality service. Will use them again when I can!

Brian was fantastic, I had an issue with a custom built gaming PC that I am pretty sure I already knew what was wrong… Obviously you’re hesitant to bring it to a shop when you build your own PCs for fear of being sold something you didn’t need.I was short on time and needed to get to work so I didn’t have time to mess with the PC much, and needed it operational for a call the next day so I took it in…Brian diagnosed, confirmed my suspicion, replaced the bad component and fresh installed windows for me all in the same day!His professional attention to detail was exceptional, and Mike was kind enough to hand wash my filters to clean out all the dust.These guys rock, and they’ve earned a customer from me moving forward!

Mark, I cant thank you and your team enough for your all of the time and patience answering my questions and specing out the perfect build for the new machine to run my FAA certified AATD flight sim. The performance of your build far exceeds the original machine that shipped from the manufacturer of my sim. A bonus is your build is virtually silent and runs far cooler, with much better frame rates than the OG machine. No more fan noise so loud it interferes with talking on the radio, and no more heating up the sim room.Youve earned a long term customer and I would not hesitate for a nanosecond to recommend you and your team to anyone.

My iPhone XS Max got a little water damage and I was told by the “big company tech guys” that it would be between 200 and 400 bucks to repair it that it would be better to buy a new one and I was about to give in but wanted a second opinion and there it was Carlsbad laptop repair center I was even thinking about it just saw it and went for it and I’m glad I did, I got there on my way home at 5:20 explained the issue to the tech mark he told me “ give me 40 minutes” well it wasn’t even 30 min by 5:45 I was on my way home he just replaced the screen as simple as that and saved me at least 100 bucks, the service was fast, reliable and affordable. I’m super happy with the service he provided, thank you mark

I bought my grandson an expensive DJI drone which he crashed the 2nd flight and cracked the plastic housing he camera. I brought it to Carlsbad Repair Center and they said they could fix it for a whopping $275.00. I thought this was really high, but went ahead and paid a $79.00 deposit.They called a few days later and said due to some kind of software upgrade that they couldnt repair it. They suggested I buy a refurbished model on Amazon (which would cost $300+). I picked it up, and they kept my $79.I then shipped it to DJI. They fixed it for $100, including parts, labor and shipping.So I wasted a week and $79.00 on Carlsbad Repair Center. Would definitely not go there again.

The computer technicians I spoke with were all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. My Lenovo Thinkpad had an update pushed that resulted in my trackpad and touchpad ceasing to work. It was an issue that went far beyond reinstalling drivers, or changing settings in Bios. I was grateful that the employees patiently listened to me describe the problem, and took me seriously as I outlined the steps I already took to troubleshoot. Ive had bad experiences with IT folks in the past steamrolling me and not really listening to my experience or diagnosis, which could save them time with their own troubleshooting. That was not my experience here. They were professional and skilled, and fixed the problem after an evening of dedicated work. They were able to get my computer fixed and back to me quickly so that I had it ready for a work trip, even though I had dropped it off with them on a Friday afternoon. The price for the repair was very reasonable considering the time they spent on it.I would highly recommend this business for your computer repair needs.

Been using these guys for years and always a great experience. Very responsive and very cordial and always good quality. Got my phone screen fixed at a very affordable cost and very quickly. I came in today to fix an old laptop and saw the owner Mark a bit upset. I asked how his day is going and I guess some guy left his laptop for six months and never went to pick it up and thinks they stole it. If a laptop is so important, you dont leave it behind for six months.In all my years, never had a problem and just wanted to leave a review in support of the Repair guys. Sorry for that guy and his pics which he probably should have backed up and probably should be angry at himself, and felt like he had to take it out on a small family business that helps people like me for many years. Just my opinion and hope it helps! PS-My phone still works! Keeping the iPhone 5s kicking.

Mark and his crew are experts and very professional to deal with. Before I found these guys, a broken screen on a gaming laptop would be $2500 down the tubes, but Mark and his crew was able to fix it at an extremely reasonable price. Saved thousands! Even if you think your laptop is unfixable, bring it by and let them see it. You will be pleasantly surprised.I do have to comment on the person giving one star below that accuses Mark of stealing his laptop. As with any repair place, even an auto repair shop or Best Buy, the terms and conditions clearly state you need to come get your stuff within a reasonable time frame once its fixed. I think its 30-60 days, but they will work with you if something urgent comes up. All of this is clearly printed on the receipt that you get when you drop your laptop off. Its not hidden in small print, its very clear.Ultimately, these guys are honest and talented, and you should definitely stop here first if you need any tech fixed. Best in San Diego!

Mark who works there is the kindest and knowledge person. He saved me and my 75 year old sister. I was going to have him repair a Beats wireless head phone and he said I could buy it new on eBay for half to price that I paid at Verizon . My flash drive, with ALL my passwords, was no longer being read by my desktop and laptop. I brought it in, praying that they could at least get my passwords off and transfer them to a new drive I brought in. Success! They had to solder the USB connecter on my old flash drive, then successfully transferred the info to my new drive. They suggested not to use the old one again, which lasted me many years. This was a MAJOR relief. They are a little pricey but well worth it for the professional quality of service.

My computer screen was cracked and I needed it to be fixed, so my dad helped me find these guys. They charged 210 for the service and screen, which was about where it should be.They did not have the part in stock, so they ordered it and it came cracked when it arrived (which I assume was not their fault). So they ordered another and put replaced it as expected. After a week of waiting, my screen was finally fixed. We went in to talk with one of the employees about the results, and he said he noticed something wrong with my battery. I then said I wasnt having any problems with it, and strangely enough, the guy only had the computer plugged in on the charger when he was showing me the new screen they put on. I later got home and noticed that my computer would fail to even turn on unless it was charging. I let it charge for a couple hours, booted up my computer, and unplugged the charger. Computer instantly shuts off and will not turn back on unless I put it on the charger. Now, my laptop is turned into a desktop computer that is stuck at 53% battery. Another strange thing I noticed was that candy crush was installed the same day we came in to pick up the computer (note that I checked this as soon as I got home from the store). One last thing Id like to point out is that the seam where the outer gray casing for the computer and the black lining part of the screen connect is not attached on the bottom, and I am able to see the LCD from the inside. I am not sure if this was already the case or if it was something they did, I just found it odd that my computer was separated in that area after they had done work on the screen. (Note that I discovered this while having to take a picture of the serial number of my computer to order a new battery). Overall a poor experience getting my laptop fixed here.

A posse of skilled technicians that work as team to figure out a fix! Paid a reasonably priced initial hour of diagnostics plus a little extra for a rush. Initially received a text that it looked like it could be a problem motherboard, but not giving up - would continue to work the next day on the laptop with more team input- a little after 9:00 PM the next evening received a texted photo of my brightly lit Lenovo screen with another team member’s comment, “It ain’t dead ‘till I say so!” With a team member’s comment, “Respect the process!” I strongly recommend anyone with a computer problem do the same and give Mark a call!

Carlsbad Repair Center is everything youd want - reasonable prices, helpful and knowledgable staff, quality repairs. I had a broken laptop screen and went to a few stores before stopping at Carlsbad Repair Center. Mark Evereklian quoted me at $50 less than other repair stores were charging and I was out the door in ten minutes. True to their word, the repairs were done within a few days and I was notified by email & phone to pick my laptop us. Truly professional and honest staff, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Got my dc jack fixed in 3 days just as they said, there was a small part of my keyboard that was poped up and I took it back and they fixed it no problem. I had an issue with my iPhone not taking a charge. Instead of trying to sell me on a new charger port, they just took a tool and fished some lint out of the charger port. Phone works great now. This is an honest place, highly recommend it.

Very helpful. Ive used them a couple of times for fixing my laptop. This time my computer wouldnt charge. They trouble shooted the problem in about 10 minutes and found out that both my ac adapter and cable were bad. Got new adapter and cable from them and all is fine.

Took my laptop in to fix the spacebar issue we left it there for 2 weeks.After about 2 weeks of it being there we decided to retrieve the laptop. They could have easily said that this piece might be rare and it will take around 3 to 4 weeks to actually receive the replacement spacebar but they didnt give us any information about the repair at all.They didnt even call us to give us any updates in the end we had to go there in person just to get an answer.On top of that they didnt even do the common courtesy of putting back the spacebar that they took off so now even though the space part didnt work before I would have still like to have it there because now it looks fugly.Unfortunately this was the only option we had for general laptop repair around where I live.I actually had to buy a seriously broken laptop the same as mine on ebay so I can take out the spacebar piece that was still working on that laptop just to fix this issue.Im not mad that they couldnt fix it Im mad that they didnt tell us that they couldnt fix it.I would seriously recommend going to another laptop repair place I would seriously go all the way to Irvine or la Jolla then this place.

I went in with a laptop that I broke and a desktop that just froze up. The laptop was done for. Then the desktop was done for also (hard drive died). They could have buttered me up and instead they didnt. They were very honest and I appreciate that! You dont get that now a days. He even said I dont like to send customers away but he would recommend that we just purchase a new computer. I couldve had him build me a new one but he couldnt guarantee that the motherboard would be good for too much longer( computer is 6 to 7 yrs old ). There were no signs indicating that it would fail but he said I could take your money and then who knows, a week later it could fail and you would have a new hard drive and be back in the same situation again. VERY HONEST PEOPLE HERE! They both also have a great sense of humor! Thank you guys for everything! I appreciate it a million times! You will not be disappointed going here!

Looking for computer repair is alot like automotive repair. If you dont know what your doing or who youre dealing with youre likely to get ripped off. Basically, you want to find a place who will diagnose the problem, be honest and trustworthy, and do it at a fair & reasonable price. Laptop Repair Carlsbad did just that. They called to inform me of their summary of the issue, what they could do to fix it, and how much it would be and if I would authorize the work recommended. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIR. They burned up my laptop which was practically new and only had a defective charge port. They refused to take responsibility and still charged me the repair fee. The owner is a rude and passive aggressive person who told me he would erase my drive and not return the computer unless I paid their high fee.

Found this place with great reviews and decided to bring my PS4 in to get fixed. The owner told me while I was there that I would hear from then in a week. After not hearing from them for a week I called them 3 times and got no answer. I then got a text message from them. I responded asking about my PS4 and they told me that I could not have an update?! See screenshot below. He then told me the reason it was not done was because their technician Chris (who supposedly I wasnt allowed to know about) was a marine and had to take extra time off for training. Again... doesnt make sense. Would you not have known this when I brought my console in last week?Fast forward to finally getting my console back 2 weeks later. It was scratched and beat up and only worked for 3 days before breaking again. Dont waste your time, money, or frustration here.

My laptop was stolen by an employee at this shop!!!! We went to court over it because the owner Mark refused to pay me. He lost in court and has still not paid me. Beware!!!!!
