2024-06-22 17:33:13Loved that we were within 5 minute drive from grocery store, restaurants, and water activities. Our unit had really slow-flowing drains in our bathrooms for the shower and you have to hold the toilet flusher for at least 10 seconds. They need to clean out their drains. Also there was ongoing construction in the parking lots; so it was inconvenient to find parking but you could eventually get a space. Otherwise enjoyed the location.

2024-06-24 13:42:04This is for the 100s.Was hoping to finally sleep in, well the construction crew in the parking lot did not allow that, nor did the bathroom pipes of the neighbors or loud neighbors walking the halls. Beds were also not comfortable. Was not able to enjoy my coffee on the balcony due to construction crew & how dirty & dusty the balcony was or I think that was the reason. First night was kind of cold, right before the weather began to heat up and our fireplace was not working, was fixed the next day but did not need to use it anymore.

2024-04-02 12:38:34This place was amazing! We loved the condo, village, and the area. The beach access was great. Beautiful views, hot tub was great after a day of skiing. Great location to heavenly (about 5 minutes). I would definitely go back to Lakeland Village & stay again!

2024-05-19 19:04:04These look really nice from the outside, and I love that they have everything that we want/need, but thats about it. We had an issue with check-in, but the lady at the front desk told us the only way to continue was to talk to someone over the phone. After waiting on hold for 15 min or so, the customer service rep told us wed have to figure it out on their app. After another 10 to 15 min, we were able to resolve the issue. Once we got into the room, we loved what we saw. The place is so spacious. The kitchen comes fully equipped with pots, pans, cups, plates, and utensils. We got to enjoy the balcony a bit. There were 3 different things on the wall to regulate A/C, but we figured out the hard way that only one of them actually works. The floors were really creeky, and you could hear the neighbors. Within an hour, we heard thumping constantly from the upstairs unit. It sounded like hammering. After hearing it for 20-30 min, we called the front desk. They sent somewhere over to resolve the issue. The next morning, we had the hammering again. When I got into the bed, there was someone elses hair in it 🤮 Super disappointing for such a beautiful and potentially wonderful place. I dont think well be coming back, though.

2024-01-26 19:37:18We love this stay in Lakeland Village. Its a cozy 3- floor apartment with full kitchen and all kitchenettes are included (#515). Easy check-in/check-out process.It seems like we are living in the forest but close to the stores and restaurants. The location is perfect if you are going to ski at the Heavenly, only a few minutes drive.We will definitely come back again!

2024-04-11 18:16:09Dealing with Vacasa is a NIGHTMARE. They are very unethical. We called the front desk on the morning of check in and were told our room was clean and empty and early check in was available. We drove in and when we got there Vacasa wouldn’t allow us to check in. They were unable to give a reason. Once we were finally able to enter the unit was dirty and absolutely disgusting. Their customer service is non existent. This property was so much better before this company took over. Find rooms that are not managed by Vacasa.

2024-02-29 20:46:54Our friend group booked a Vacasa property for a ski weekend in South Lake Tahoe and were looking forward to staying at this property as it looked nice and had all the things we were looking for. Unfortunately, thats where the pleasant experience ends.This property management company lacks the most basic humanity and customer service skills. When there was a national blizzard notice issued for the South Lake Tahoe area and road conditions are being described as life threatening, Vacasa refused to provide a refund. Claiming that this is a fluke and does not constitute a refund. This money hungry property management company is more concerned about making a quick buck off customers than their safety and security.When attempting to get hold of a supervisor or someone in management that could maybe be more sensible and help resolve this issue, the reservation specialist (Melanie) put me on a long hold, with no one picking up the phone on the other end. I have tried contacting management several times and get thwarted by the reservation specialists.If youre looking to rent a place in South Lake Tahoe, and are going through VRBO or AirBnB and see Vacasa as a rental property, DEFINITELY do not book here unless youre okay with losing your money and being treated to the worst customer service possible in the face of a dangerous and hazardous condition.I would give them zero stars if I could. Unfortunately, being forced to give them 1 star is even too much to their credit.Will never be renting from this property again. Oh, and make sure you read the other persons review about bedbugs at some of their other properties. What a joke of a management company.

2024-01-11 22:53:00Our loft was nice and accommodating for the eight of us. Decor could be peanut not bad. My only complaints were the stone floors (cold as hell) and not enough close trash dumpsters to empty your trash. Good location across for grocery store and convenience store. Plenty of parking. Very nice views of the lake.

2023-11-14 14:24:27Everything is great. The environment is perfect, silent. i thought it was good for my family vacation but who know the hot water system doesn’t work. Call for help, but seem very slow and nothing was fix. and finally, the whole of my family need to boil water and move to the bathroom for having bath every day staying there. ROOM 407. If anyone need this experience, let try!!! i bet you can not have this experience anywhere else except there.

2023-10-07 00:51:41The location is amazing, but my room was very poor. I had NO towels, toilet paper or little shampoo and conditioner. I also had NO blankets or sheets on both beds. When I finally got them, I had to make my own beds. The upstairs bathroom did not work properly. There WiFi barely worked. THEY ALSO DOUBLE CHARGED ME!!!!
