I came in and I started out suicidal and wanting to give up on life. The staff didnt give up on me though. Im now discharging on friday and feeling healthier than ever. They help me set up an excellent discharge plan and have been so reliable. I love the staff here and honestly. They deserve more than five stars. I came all the way from south carolina because I heard how amazing this place was. Im so glad that I did. Thank you for saving my life.

Laguna is a great spot to go find treatment. From the activities to the food, it really is top notch. There also are therapists, nurses, and doctors who really seem to care about their patients. The TAs go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and comfortable-from Kylie listening to my complaints, and Dylan really going the extra distance to ensure my needs were met- this place is a choice destination to get well.They are the rehab you may not want, but the rehab you truly need.

The clinical staff at Laguna treatment Hospital is excellent. There are, of course, variations in the experience and training of the facilitators. Well, some are very good, a few tend to do the same activities, repeatedly. The ones who engage the client, no, and plan their groups, are excellent; unfortunately, that does not include all of them.The same as true of the case managers. Well, some are stellar, a couple or inexperienced, or seem to be different.One group facilitator, Gilbert, always has productive, informative groups. He also has started a store where we can purchase at various items with tickets we receive when we attend groups. This is a very popular part of Laguna Treatment Center and I welcome Getting tickets at every opportunity.They utilize detox protocol and practice medication assisted treatment. The nursing staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and generally helpful.Some of the techs Are helpful and actually care about the clients, A few are nonchalant and really don’t do any part of their job. This is especially true of those who work overnight.I would recommend the Laguna treatment center To anyone looking for a recovery program from addiction to drugs and or alcohol.

This place is absolutely wonderful. The staff is amazing. The food is amazing. The gift cart is awesome because you can buy things with tickets for attending the groups. It’s a great place to grow a community of sober people and Gilbert is absolutely amazing! He has taught me things I would never knew about Dharma recovery refuge, recovery, and so many other things to help me heal.

Chefs accommodated my vegetarian needs and i was welcomed very kindly by admissions. the provider met with me regularly and all my needs have been met. for as many people as they hold this place has a solid system. 10/10 would recommend

Excellent experience, professional and very friendly staff all over the center. Thank you all of you, You made my 1 month stay effective and comfortable. Special thanks to two Gilberts from TA and Gilberts extraordinary group, in which I was attending, special thanks to my councilor Sonny, both are high tech professionals, walking me, my treatment from a to z. Also special disappointment towards fat and ugly Aristotle from administration who is ruining centers reputation - top of bureaucracy, making money from illegal cigarette and vape sales during lunch time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, ripping patients and selling $ 15 illegal vapes for $40 or $8 illegal cigarettes for $15 . Needs to be fire that person immediately .

There is good and bad here. Crazy drama, a bit run down, but more good. Amazing nurses. Great TAs. Love my therapist Larry! Love my case manager Jean!! The food here has been pretty darn GOOD! Thank you Chef Steve. Most Amazing are group leaders like Ken, who is on FIRE!!, Kendall and Gilbert. Besides both leading Awesome discussions, Gilbert has a patient store. Every meeting you go to you get raffle tickets. His cart has necessities you forgot to bring like soap and shampoo. Fun things too. Like ear pods, water bottles and coloring books! My best experience here has been Gilbert. His heart is unmatched. He made me feel i had value. He saw me. He heard me.Unlike the girl Shae, who runs the alumni website, “kindness cart” and special activities. She overlooked me on two occasions. She made me feel invisible. Standing right in front of her, yet she interacted with every other person behind me. Not just me tho ….. She was a CAPITAL B - to my roomate. She is a horrible person that should not be working here! Even her smile doesn’t cover her rudeness.Tho I digress… i will remain focused on the positive. My recovery with these incredible people. And the help of those I am running elbow to elbow with, recovering together. ❤️‍🩹

Laguna treatment center is heaven sent. Thanks to my younger but smarter sister and Dr. and wonderful insurance I was able to come to this hospital and actually learn and see people that are hurting. The staff is wonderful and really care for u. They have wonderful food, great friendly cooks and The cleaning staff are great as well. Shea is a very caring gal and hosts fun activities daily to keep us happy and take our minds off the bad moments. Daily meetings that will steer people in the right direction. Great TA’s, case managers. Gilbert, Tony, Kenny, Chase, Holly, all staff is wonderful. As well as all the wonderful family of residents. If u are looking for a place to detox or residential this is the place to be. You will feel safe and welcomed. Thank u Laguna Treatment Hospital.

Zero communication between staff. Management will lie straight to your face. Therapy is minimal at best and facilitators are hit or miss with a lot of miss. All in all not a good treatment center and I wouldn’t trust these people with a goldfish.

Great Staff and facility, The only reason I give it four stars because on Sundays, I don’t feel like sitting and watching football All day I would rather be learning more tools to work on My sobriety you should have an option to do one or the other! Just got out this place, was sold on the fact that detox was “as long as you need”…paid cash, been here 2-3 times…make sure they don’t double bill your insurance. The administration, billing, medical staff do not seem to be on the same page.

Fortunately, Im currently here! Couldnt be more satisfied with the quality of care and overall attitude of the staff. From Harly and Holly, Jenny and Lea and Chase and all the Drs and entire nursing staff is so friendly and helpful. Ive never been in residential, but I needed it. I got here just in time; and they got me back on my feet and OMG the FOOD is exceptional. Im actually staying for the food, haha. Overall A+++

Be careful.They will double charge you when you make your first deposit payment and then wont refund it.They are also more focused on perscribing medications than helping patients thru therapy.If youre sending an addict here to detox its probably ok but if you are suffering from anxiety and looking for help for panic attacks they will just drug you up and not really help you long term.Go to Nedley Health or somewhere where they focus on getting you better not turning you into a zombie.

Laguna Treatment Hospital is nothing short of amazing. The warmhearted, attentive, energetic nurses and staff provided the safe, warm and invigorating environment I needed to begin my road to recovery.Counselors/coordinators (alphabetically) Gilbert, Ian, Janice, and Mike are far and away the best Ive ever seen, and Ive seen many (sad to say). They are highly knowledgeable, approachable, and loving individuals who put their all into every minute of every session. I simply couldnt get enough of them.I had ready access to psychiatrists, doctors, and nurses whenever I needed them; they were just astounding.Lastly, the food was excellent and the kitchen staff was as friendly as the health care providers.Thank you Laguna Treatment Hospital! I now truly believe I have a fighting chance.

I was in the hospital dying around 38 days ago this place sent a lift put me on a plane and flew me down there! They truly saved my life and gave me another chance at life the counselors and staff here are amazeing truly a gift from God. Most of them have faced the same battles and understand what you need to succeed because they have done the work and will help equip you to do the same if you so desire. My heart cant think of the words to express my gratitude for this place and the love the doctors and staff showed me. Im sitting here at home with my family on thanksgiving I can seeand feel their smiles and happyness because they have their son back. I was homeless living on the street with a needle in my arm hopeless before this anyone can recover no matter how far down u have fallen u can pick urself up and enjoy the great gift of life threw a new clean amazeing pair of eyes and the warmth and strength of gods loveing grace and laguna treatment center will help you start your journey to wellness what a magical place for anyone trying to escape the misery and hopelessness that comes with addiction. Not what I expected, especially for a moment you have to pay. First night there, had to sleep in my clothes, did not receive my belongings until morning. Found cockroach in my room. The rooms I guess are set to be real cold so during the day all the rooms are really cold and at night theyre still cold ask the people there to turn on the heater but they said they had no charge over it. My room when I got there was dirty wasnt clean so I had to wait in the lobby until my room was ready.

I work in Recovery, Im a RADT, my father passed away and I started having panic attacks, so my doctors put me on Benzos. Working in treatment I felt that I was a hypocrite to be taking Benzos while I am helping others get off and detox from whatever their doc is. Eventually I gathered up enough courage to reach out and try to get off of them. They offer Valium and subs for detox taper and maintenance, I HIGHLY recommend anyone who really wants to go get clean to go to Laguna Treatment Hospital. Theres nursing staff 24/7, unlike some other places that I have worked where there is only a nurse on call who may or may not answer. They have plenty of techs to address anything that might come up.The doctors are amazing and you dont really find that in treatment that much. Ms. Jeanie is the best person there, I would really love to work at a place like this because they actually CARE about clients, its not all about money or insurance. Theyll go out of their way to help you. Also you can get your phone in 3 days. Everywhere else is usually 30 days!!! Go to Laguna Treatment Hospital

Laguna Treatment Center exceeded my expectations. The nursing staff and medical team was fantastic. The counselors and additional medical and admin staff were all just great! I went in only to Detox Safely, but through this process have now shifted my thought process to a life of sobriety. Thank you to all the staff!!! Staff is all very friendly and cant lie the food is good 98% of the time. The instructors are great and personable and always have open ears. Gilbert is fantastic in his ways oh personalizing and getting everybody involved and an opportunity to speak. IAN WE NEED A LOT MORE of. his scientific ways of breaking down the sessions and really informing us what damage has been done where to us is beyond informational and interesting and he is fantastic at being able to relate. Ken I do like as well his way of teaching is also appreciated and unique forsure. This place kind of surprised me in such a nice way. Highly recommended for anybody seeking recover. The nursing staff is beyond understanding and comforting as well.

First and foremost the Nursing Staff was great and I wanted to give Shelby a huge thank you for your compassion. You are amazing. The Dietary staff was amazing, . Thank you for the great food. The Clinical staff was professional and understanding. The business office people that I dealt with were so worried about money and not about the client. Repeatedly harassed about my insurance premium that wasnt lapsed. Was told that if I didnt pay it by that evening they would put me on the street. Told them it wasnt due yet but I would take care of it. Literally harassed about it 5 times within an hour. Made you feel like you were just a paycheck for them that they would absolutely put you on the street..

I haven’t been here long enough to rate it 5 stars ⭐️, however, I will like to say that the staff is great, patients are awesome, groups, and material they teach is very beneficial and great. There was a little incident in the beginning that made me resent them for just a moment because I was in a lot of pain and needed help asap but case manager Jean and Nurse Kourtney really helped me and paid attention to me asap. There was a code blue so I will let it slide as a situation occurring at a very hectic time. Still, needs were taken care of and I enjoy the realness of the staff. Kenny, Adrian, and I think Gilbert might be his name I’m not sure but they are just the perfect amount of real I need in my life. Another nurse or lvn id like to point out are Jess and Irma. Everyone here is really helpful and are involved in your best interest. The food is alright. Snacks can be switched up but still nothing too bad. Anyways, keep up the good work Laguna Hospital.

This place is a joke. Where do I start!! Well it started with my drinking and me having to go to this place that said the took my ins. And that I needed to pay $3700 deductible and I did. I was there for 30hrs and then they told me they don’t take my ins. And I would have to go somewhere else. I found a great place to go and I’m 1year no drinking at all. The I got a bill from them after they sent a $18,000 to my ins company and they want me to pay $3900 after I gave them $3700 and on the statement it shows I didn’t give them anything but my bank statement shows the truth. Pics to come. But anyway anybody that sees this. This place is a joke and is not safe they put you in rooms with cracked out people even though you are there just for drinking. DO NOT HAVE A LOVED ONE GO HERE!!!

If you go into this place with the right intentions this is the perfect place to succeed in your battle for addiction. Staff is great and this feels like a safe haven where you can really work on yourself. The food is great, the groups are meaningful and can really help if you listen. One hell of a ride. When you get there, you will want to leave..dont. that is your head and sickness talking. I stayed it out and had best experience ever in any treatment facility and ive been to them all, trust me on that. Wonderful facilators, Adrian, Gilbert, Kenny are awesome guys and all the nurses and techs are great. Case worker Janelle will not let you leave without proper aftercare setup for you. After going to double digit treatments centers. I’ve found that Laguna has the best balance of programs. You have Ian, who teaches you in depth about the brain and the timeframe to be expected for recovery. Then you have Gilbert, who’s teaching you the basics of 12 steps and the tools you’ll need to finish them. There is a lot of patients but after the detox faze I found it was actually a good thing because between the 3-4 groups a day and all the people to talk too, as well as therapists. You have no time to really dwell on the negative thoughts and emotions.

This place isn’t exactly how it looks online as far as outdoor recreation, amenities and food goes. There’s not much organization or structure but it’s somewhat of a blessing, it makes you want to apply yourself and attend groups so you can get the tools necessary to not come back and stay clean.Ian’s groups were my personal favorite, he really opened my eyes to things in life that had effected me and had caused trauma even though I didn’t realize they did. I never realized how much events in my child hood and adult life effected my brain/thought process. He has pushed me to really dig deep to get all these things out, he truly has saved my life as well as my relationship with my wife, my family and how to set boundaries with them.Ken’s groups are real and raw, he gives you real life scenarios to relate to, they also show you that no matter what you have done in the past anyone can change their future. If he tells you to do a “Goodbye Letter” DO IT! It won’t be easy but it’s worth it.Gilbert’s group is mostly out of the work book which gives you a huge amount of information both regarding addiction, the steps, coping and setting boundaries.The nursing staff here is short staffed but every nurse is still positive and does their best to brighten our days.

Be prepared to do all your own case management and to advocate for all of your own aftercare! Also don’t allow these people to convince you to stay over 30 days! It is a waste of your time and money, because this place is only effective for 4 weeks or less! This is strictly an detox hospital, not an inpatient rehabilitation facility! Also know that any good reviews you read, the staff bribes the patients with candy to leave good reviews, which is nice because you can order anything from Amazon except candy!

I have gained so much valuable knowledge. They give you so many tools and counseling to help you start the healing process. The group sessions are so helpful. Ian and Gilbert are exceptional counselors with incredible I sight about our disease and great ways we can heal and remain sober. The facility is beautiful, clean and comfortable. I have been to this hospital five times. Two of my experiences have been less than desirable while three have been exceptional!The nursing staff, overall, is phenomenal, however on this last stay,,they lost many great nurses and had traveling nurses that were untrained in addiction medication.The computer system is outdated and slow. There were times they were down to one computer.The good news is that they are focusing on the education staff. It has improved markedly!.The sad news is that they have lost many key staff members. But, overall, I would recommend this facility to anyone whom has an addiction problem.

I had a fabulous experience. I loved how busy they kept us. There were two sessions each morning and afternoon. After dinner, there was an AA meeting. The counselors and nurses were kind and competent. I would definitely recommend Laguna Treatment for anyone dealing with addiction!!

My first day I wanted to leave because I was in denial about needing treatment. The nurses and TA supported me and convinced me to stay and it was the best decision of my life. The food is okay. The staff is friendly and helpful. I met a lot of great people who are very encouraging. Let’s start off by saying for some reason Kaiser pushes for this treatment center by telling me it was the only one that offered detox and inpatient treatment which is a lie. They also said this place was extremely nice and told me they do a lot of stuff that they do not do. This is a lock down facility, meaning that you never leave the complex and only step outside briefly while eating meals. You’re stuck inside this cold dark building 22 hrs a day. All the groups with the exception of the new guy Ian’s group are worthless and repetitive. 80% are arts and crafts and have nothing to do with treatment. It’s a good place for detox only and would never recommend it for treatment. It also seems like a state pay place as well where people that may be going to jail get a second chance and go here through state pay. Very disappointed at the addiction place that sets people up here because they lied about everything. Good luck staying sane stuck in this building with 40 other people for 30 days. You’re more likely to come out more messed up than when you went in. There are several facilities all over California that are 💯 times better and have real inpatient treatment programs and will except different insurances, you just have to look and not trust the insurance or the addiction place they have call you. They get paid by getting you in there and care less if it’s a good place or not. They shove so many people in there it was like a crazy house. Steer clear of this place it was like a nightmare. If you’re only seeking a 6 day detox great but anything more I would highly recommend seeking elsewhere. Good luck

Laguna treatment center was extremely thorough in teaching about and preparing there clients in relapse prevention. The group therapies were amazing. The food was good. They were very involved in preparing me for outpatient treatment as a follow up and I could tell that they genuinely CARE about every person in the facility. Cody was extremely professional as were all the the therapists, doctors, nurses, that I came in contact with.They all made me feel like My recovery was of the utmost importance to them. The nurses are amazing! They get to know your name and really care for your health and well-being. The process of getting medicine needs to be changed. Im a patient person but having to wait in a line for an hour to two hours to recieve your medicine is not efficient.The instructors are very knowledgeable and care about you. They get to know your name as well and it makes it more personal and easier to get through hard times.The patient rooms are less desirable. There is no TV, telephone, or even a clock. The time of day and day of the week gets lost very quickly. Im sure there is a reason for these things but it takes you out of your normal activity of just going back to your room and watch TV to relax. Also be prepared to share your room with a roommate. This was something that was not disclosed to me prior to arriving and was a shock. I wasnt prepared to share a room when I was at the lowest of lows. The rooms are big but there are maintenance issues such as broken shower towel racks and ripped furniture. There is no thermostat in the rooms to control the air conditioning so the rooms get very cold.Overall a good facility that will provide you the help you need.

I have been working with American Addiction Centers for more than 5 years now from the role of a provider. They have always been responsive and able to assist in anyway possible to get individuals the help they need. I had the opportunity to spend some time observing at the Laguna Treatment Hospital and it was amazing to see the facility and interact with the staff in person. From my experience the staff was caring, friendly, and committed. The location itself is breathtaking. They have a pool and access to the beach. I took part in an arts class and enjoyed the focus on trying to provide something for each individual who is part of the program. The facility itself is beautiful and looks like hotel suites. The food is something you would expect from a resort. I know these factors are not necessary for the treatment process, but it helps make the individuals in the program know that their comfort is important and that they are worthy of this quality. I also enjoyed that they have some individuals employed at the treatment center who are graduates of the program. The clinical staff is experienced and well versed in treating the whole person along with their addiction. Overall, a great place to seek assistance in seeking sobriety and an improved quality of life.

DO NOT go to Laguna for treatment. I had to pay in advance when I needed help and was taken in on Friday, Dec 31 and had to leave by 1.5 days later (Sunday) to go to the ER after being given a medication I was sensitive to. I did not return to Laguna after that but they charged my insurance for 6 full days of treatment and once my insurance paid - Laguna has refused to reimburse me for the portion that I paid in advance. Cant even get a call back from anyone in billing - very FRAUDULENT !!!! I only gave one star because it wouldnt post my message without clicking at least one. In my book - ZERO STARS!!!

Now that I have completed 30 days I feel ready to stay sober and continue this new beginning. The staff is amazing and the people I have met here really helped motivate me in my recovery. DONT GO HERE!! I had a terrible experience! FYI: I was there on my own accord, not mandated.Intake staff entered the wrong medical information for me, resulting in my not getting the antidepressant medication Id been on for 15 years. Instead I was given anti-seizure medication, because my record reflected that I had a history of seizures from withdrawal from Xanax. Ive never had a seizure, nor have I ever taken Xanax... Also, I wasnt withdrawing off opiates, I was only there to learn rehabilitation tools to work a 12-step program. Therefore, as per my psychiatrist and primary treating physician, I wasnt at risk for seizures from withdrawal, either.Additionally, 3 male TAs (staff members), Steve, Gilbert, and 1 other male, walked into my room, unannounced, while I was undressed. My husband called the police, after the 3rd time, and I made a report. I was scared and didnt feel comfortable being there anymore. Due to the above, I wanted to leave, and I asked to be discharged. I was told that, if I left, it would be AMA (against medical advice), and my insurance wouldnt cover it.Finally, 6 days later, the medical director approved my discharge for 2/25/23. However, they still tried to make me stay, saying that another staff member wanted to speak to me later on that day. Theyd lied to me, abused their authority, and misrepresented the program, so I left, since Id been authorized medically.Lastly, their brochure states you get your own room, a personalized chef, and that they take you on supervised outings, including kayaking, but none of that was available. I had a roommate; I ate cafeteria food; and, there were no outings at all. I asked a group leader who said that everyone gets upset about that, and that it wasnt illegal, just misrepresentation.

My experience at Laguna Treatment Hospital was exactly what I needed to get sober. The staff made me feel so comfortable here and it seemed like they actually cared about me and my sobriety, which I can imagine isn’t always the case at other detox centers. Even when I had a bad interaction with one of the patients here the staff handled it extremely professionally and made sure I was comfortable and had a safe space to be. The facility itself is really nice as well. They really work hard to make sure that each patient has a plan after they get out of here in order to stay sober.The only advice I would give to people considering coming here is that it’s mostly a detox center, so if you’re looking for something more long term keep that in mind. They will definitely help you find places like that before you leave here, though.Also, you’re going to get exactly what you put in, don’t expect to come here and come out sober without going to any group sessions or paying attention to the information they give you. Ian, Gilbert and Janice are great group advocates who you can relate with and help out greatly because of relatable. The facility is lacking with there food options for people who have diet restrictions as well as tables and shower heads not the best. Tables n chairs being broken or wobbly. Certain doctors n nurses are great while others are just paycheck collectors. There are few employees who take the time and show they care while all most others TAs n therapist are just paycheck collectors and dont care about the patients making the patients want to leave the treatment facility. A lot of counter productive employees here but there are specific ones who actually care and made me stay. Ian, Gilbert, Janice, Sabrina, Aries, LaTesha, Elvita, Nurse Susan, Nurse Annie, Nurse Amanda, Nurse Jennifer, Nurse Natalie, Nurse Lea, TA Louie, Brunson, Gilbert, John, Selena and Ken are the best employees in my opinion. Theres a lot that can be improved on and a lot of nurses that should be let go due to there attitudes and work ethic. The gym is lacking functional machines and variety for such a large group of patients.

Great place to come and get better, like everywhere some staff is much better than others, but the good staff far outweigh the bad. The rooms are very nice and accommodating, and food is excellent for a rehab/detox. If you are someone who needs your phone/laptop for business or anything really, don’t worry because they allow you to have them from day 1. I have came here to get off opiates, and after a year of maintenance LTH was my chosen place to come to get off maintenance. Going here against my will, I had made up my mind that this was a terrible place where terrible people went. Boy was I wrong. I was treated with wa welcomes from everyone and although all us patients were going thru some hard times, I met some of the strongest and loving people there. The bonds I made with patients, the nurses and staff was worth every penny. Adonis was the coolest man there and he cares so much. Nancy is an absolute riot. I love that lady and her fun events. I did things I thought Id never do and it was a blast. My case manager Katrina was in constant contact with me the entire time and gave me so many tools to lead me in the right path and was so kind to me. I want to thank Laguna Treatment Hospital for saving my life. I was there a couple of weeks ago for about a week and a half because of alcohol abuse. Things were getting really bad in my life and I called them to see if I could get in. They take my insurance which is Blue Shield of California. They are one of the few places that do and that was such a relief. Them being open in these dire times was so important for someone who needed help like me. I’ve never been to a detox or rehab center before and I was really scared but I was determined to get my mental, emotional and physical health back on track. I want to thank every single employee there. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for the hard work the staff puts into the long hours they work there. They listened to me and communicated when I had questions. They were kind to other patients and on top of their game. Most of the staff are recovered addicts and it gave me and a lot of other patients hope that we can get our lives back. I want to especially thank Arlene who went above and BEYOND for me with my insurance needs as it’s extremely important to be aware of. She’s a wonder case worker and human. She really gave me a lot of hope and strength. It pains me to give this facility a 3/5, but due to a major issue (listed below), I was forced to do so. Everything else about my experience here was wonderful.Please do your due diligence and ensure that your insurance is taken by the facility prior to being admitted. I was informed that my insurance was accepted and it was only until a week later that I had a meeting with another individual at the facility, and she off-offhandedly mentioned that I was on private pay. Let me be clear about this: the business office told me they accepted my insurance, and that was not the case. Not only did they give me misinformation, they did not inform me after the fact. I found out from another individual within the company who does not work in the finance dept. Its hard to say whether I was intentionally lied to or if it was a a foul-up on their end, however their lack of being forthcoming and honest after the fact certainly casts doubt on their integrity. FYI private pay will run you to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars.The facility is well kept and organized. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, and you have plenty of storage space for your belongings. The rooms are a bit cold (if you dont like being cold I would suggest some heavier clothing or blankets) but nothing anyone would call uncomfortable.The food is tasty but unhealthy. Lots of salty, fried meats. They do cook veggies and have a nice salad bar if you are more health conscious. The dining hall is large and its a great place to meet people and make friends.Lastly I want to talk about the staff, and its the main reason I hated to give this place a 3/5 stars. The staff were nothing short of incredible. I did not have a single negative experience with any of the nurses, aids or various support individuals. Everyone was polite, friendly, and genuinely cared that I was comfortable and being cared for. The first couple of days I was feeling unwell and out of place. The employees kept me assured that everything would be OK and were always happy to listen to me express my concerns or fears. THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who got me through this troubling time of my life. Words cannot express my gratitude.As long as you are sure your insurance/payment situation is in order, I highly recommend this facility.

My experience was awful. First things first, the medication setup is ridiculous. There are So many people there so it’s hard to get your medicine on time. Too many people. And then the staff is so rude and unprofessional. Even feel like they were a bit prejudice. This place is detox facility, not really a rehab. I had intentionally looked for long term residential treatment that had a 60-90 day program, but after I paid my deductible, the admissions team at Laguna already began to discuss discharging me after only being there 4 days. I fought like hell to get them to squeeze out 10 days of treatment.Please don’t allow the intake specialists to lead you believe that you will be there any longer than 7-14 days unless you plan to pay 100% out of pocket.I enjoyed my time there and had a few insightful classes, but if you are looking for a serious rehab program that lasts 30-90 days, this is not the place for you and you will be unpleasantly surprised.

Im pleased with the experience I had at Laguna Treatment Hospital. I had no idea what to expect since it was my first in Reb (alcohol). I was nervous, anxious, and scared when I arrived, but when I left (Day 10) I felt confident, motivated, and determined to achieve my goals.There are a few things I thought could be done differently but nothing that is a deal-breaker except for the discharge process. I was discharged without seeing a practitioner. I feel like you have to stay on top of the care you get. I didnt speak up enough or follow up on requests I made.Here were some highlights for me at Laguna Treatment Hospital:1. The evening events were AWESOME (with Nancy). Shes got a presence that makes it memorable. I wasnt sure at first about attending the events, definitely dont discount the value of these events. It reminded me that you could have fun without alcohol.2. The staff overall was amazing! Extra shout out to Donas, Manny, Oscar, Nancy, Tamika, Michelle, Jane, Janell,Haily, Christina FNP, and Lakiesha FNP.3. The LVNs that provided the medications were kind and patient.4. The food was surprisingly really good. The nice lady (sorry :( forgot her name) was accommodating and had incredible positive energy. There were snacks available on each floor at all times.5. The facility was super clean (the cleaning crew kept everything immaculate).6. The group sessions were somewhat redundant and in my opinion too big.7. The AA sessions were offered every night (Props to Ren). It was my first time to an AA meeting, and everybody was so welcoming:)).8. Make sure you pay attention to all items you brought with you. I was discharged without a medication I brought in from my local MD and didnt realize it until I got to the airport.9. The intake process was organized, with the exception of your personal property and the time your belongings arrive in your room. I checked in at 430 pm and didnt get my bags until 2 am. I feel like that process can be improved. Again, I shouldve spoken more about things that I didnt feel comfortable with during my time there.10. Finally, make sure you read the information in the packet they provide during your in-take! But if you dont, ask ANYONE around...literally everybody helps each other out. I believe that helping others is energizing and empowering.I have the utmost respect for everyone that works there, and I THANK YOU for putting me back on track.**Side Note**Do NOT worry about your attire there. I didnt know what to pack... less is more, go with basic/casual gear and limit your make-up and toiletries. If you forget something you can get it shipped.

I had a great experience at laguna, the staff really cared about my well-being, i was lucky enough to get along great with the other patients on my floor. most of the facilitators were also very passionate about teaching us something in our group therapy sessions. the food was good, not super healthy, but still very tasty. it was very refreshing to know that a good portion of the staff are ex addicts so they understood what we were going through and knew the right words to say. my case manager was determined to get me the proper help that i needed and ended up signing me up for a sober-living home for 90 days that i definitely wasn’t expecting when i checked myself in but i am extremely grateful that she did. i drove there from vegas thinking i was gonna be there for a quick two weeks and go back home but i’m now staying in california for an extra three months to ensure that i fully recover. i wish i could name off all the great staff members that went above and beyond to help me but there were too many to name. thank you laguna, you truly saved my life.

LTH was by far the nicest and cleanest detox i had been too. The staff for the most part was very caring and were also in recover them selves. Three staff members stick out to me and i will always remember them and appreciate all they did to go out rod there way to make me feel at home. These staff members in no particular order are Nancy who tan the games and graduated the clients, was so warm and had the brightest personality. She made sure everyone felt part of the games and part of the laguna family she made the most wonderful impression on me from the get go and never was in a bad mood ( or at least never showed it) i’ll always think of her in the highest regards and miss her dearly. Next is Maritza, although she was the cook there she touched everyone with her kindness that she came in contact with. i’ll never forget how my second day there she saw me crying and wiped away the tears form my face and gave me a hug, she told me was raising my vibrations with hers and took away my sadness because in her words “could handle the sadness and replace it with happiness” she is truly and angel among people. And last but not least Kylee she went out of her way to ensure i moved up to the 3rd floor after asking other staff countless times to no avail, even though it was a small gesture it meant the world to me she’s amazing and truly care for those who are there as long as you show her the kindness and respect she deserves. This place is the Anti-Rehabilitation facility! If you don’t want to read my long and precise review of the way this place operates, I at least urge you to check out the Better Business Bureau, yelp, rip off report, or any other sites that will give you HONEST REVIEWS, from people like me, that went there for help, and left worse off than before, and with a nice $$$$ invoice, when originally told I will have zero out of pocket! Nothing !!I am ready to file a class action lawsuit. I urge other people that have had similar horrible experiences to join me. This company / business/ is preying on the helpless. Something needs to be done to stop this!While I was getting ready to be discharged from detox facility, I was trying to find a rehab that would provide counseling for myself, and family counseling for me, my husband and son.The salesman Carl for this place promised me on the phone that I would get that type of counseling, and also to me that my insurance deductibles were met, and I would have ZERO out of pocket cost.Guess what? He lied. Not only are they trying to bill me for more money, but the promises for counseling were a LIE. Once I was admitted, I felt like a prisoner, and only then, they told me I could not have any visitors or family counseling. I was also told there was a pool and workout room (as their brochure also shows) NOT ! Closed ! The only workout would be the ping pong table outside shared by everyone in this place, and the whole outside area was one big cloud of cigarette smoke. Ok, I could spend time in my room, but it was cold as a meat locker! I had a nice big vent right over my bed Blowing freezing cold air on me. I started to feel like I was going to get bronchitis, but they said there was nothing they could do, and refused to switch my room, only until the day I said Im outta here. i Was promised vegetarian items at the cafeteria, and that didnt happen, except for the salad bar. On day one 1, me and another patient pulled a nice big hair out of the salad, which made me afraid to eat anything at all. The line for meds were ridiculously long, since they are grossly understaffed. I left my original detox feeling pretty good, eager to going to a rehab to get the proper tools to function in the real world sober. When I left this place I was sick and underweight. Oh yeah, and they still had the nerve to bill me a out of pocket cost that I was told upfront I didnt owe.Check out the better business bureau, yelp and other websites that have many similar complaints regarding billing and the horrible condition of this place.And to the owner: please do not bother responding, unless your response is that the invoice you are sending me goes BYE BYE. I have reached out to your company and spoke to many billing people, and finally escalated all of these issues, but it fell on deaf ears. I’ve now spent hours on this with no resolution, so I will just keep posting my experience wherever I can. The least I can do is warn other vulnerable people about this place.

Worst experience of my life. Not only did they not treat me right, but they wasted hours of my life trying to leave and receive my belongings. They didn’t even communicate properly with me which added to my utter disgust of this place. I checked myself out 2 days into my 6-7 day stay because I wasn’t able to eat, sleep, or function at all there. The beds were so bad, I would just lay awake in agony for hours all day and night. I’ve slept in more comfortable European hostel beds… On top of all that, they lost $300 worth of inhailers of mine, and as a person with asthma and having an asthma attack on Sunday, this just screwed me over even more. They also lost my vitamins and other small items. I respectfully requested for half my $ back because I didn’t even stay for half the time there and I haven’t been given an answer as to if I am going to get refunded. I normally don’t complain unless I am overly treated bad/ taken advantage of but this place did me so dirty. I do not recommend this place at all if you value your stuff and your time. My only postive experiences here were from two employee’s Marco and Jean, as well as me knowing never to do anything again to need to rely on such a place for comfort and betterness as a whole.

I spent a lot of time in this treatment facility and I feel bad. The staff appears to be nice and accommodating but there is no structure. Groups are not consistent within clinical recovery. The staff seems to teach on different topics, not curriculum base and no method to the madness. People are discharged one week and back the next week. People are unable to be off of drug under their care which means the practice does not work. Since I have been here you don’t even have options to where you will continue care. They tell you where you are going like you are a child. You have no say so. They tell you you’re business person will decide and I never even heard of this person who making the decision for me. I think this is human trafficking……how do you pay for your insurance but you have no decision on your care and where you would like to continue care…this is not right. farming us like cattle for a profit is all it is.

It seemed like a good program while I was there but when I left, on 3 occasions I was told by staff that my meds would be called in to the pharmacy and they have not been. I completed the detox program and flew back to south Carolina. Ive contacted the floor nurses, the business office and the people at American addiction center. I still have not had a return phone call and I have to wait 3 weeks until I can get in to behavioral health back home. I dont think this is helpful with my recovery. The classes were helpful but the discharge process is horrible.

This is the worst place for a person to get treatment. I would highly advise anyone and everyone to stay away from this place. I was not a patient or a resident there but my friend was there for a couple of weeks. There seems to be no type structure and the staff seem only to be concerned about the bottom line $$$$$. Let me first say that the staff of nurses and other direct contact employees are exempt from this review. They were all an excellent 5+ star review.I spent nearly two weeks at this facility for alcohol abuse treatment. This is a profit-focused organization. Laguna Treatment Hospital is not focused on curing addiction. Its focused on profit.I found this place in a moment of desperation through Google. American Addiction Treatment centers or whatever. Unfortunately, they dominate Google searches and have many subsidiaries...Theyre like the McDonalds of rehabs is how one friend described it.The CEO came by a couple times. He reminds me of Gustavo Fringe from Breaking Bad.Update 10/19 since Google will not allow responses. The owners response is not actually from the owner. The owners response leads you to an onerous call to an outsourced third party company that takes complaints mostly about specific incidents. Not about how an entire company is run.Its run by American Addiction Centers, the mother company of this addiction center franchise. Most businesses would wish for their customers to return, however, youd think an addiction center would wish the opposite. Unfortunately, thats not the case. Most are return customers.

I personally witnessed the nurses here almost put a man into diabetic coma by giving them 30 units instead of 6 then they try to cover their tracks.Possibly the worst run center Ive ever seen. The nurses cant get any medication doses and/or timings right. There is claims of a chef which is a joke in itself with the food being served luke-warm, dry as a desert, and so much salt its unbearable. They use left overs from previous meals to create the next meal. Not a single one of the staff knows my name Ive been called James Josh everything but my actual name John.Ive been made to sit at the nurses counter for hours just to be told its to late to take my medication. Never an apology or even explanation as to why or what the issue is. Ive been given half doses when it should be full and full doses when it should be half. It took 6 days for me to get my medication and when I finally did I had to do every step myself from calling the pharmacy to giving them my insurance information to payment myself. Not only that but my information was given out to a 3rd party violating HIPPA.The classes only specifically speak on addiction and very rarely focus on mental health. To call this a dual diagnosis facility is a travesty to the term. When asking to see a higher up or a director I am often told they are not here or we have no way to contact them. When asking to see the director, or as they call it CEO, 9 out of 10 employees will tell you they are not sure but there is a grievance box.The facility is more similar to a jail than a detox and residential. Everyday feels like groundhogs Day because its the same schedule with no outings and or even events. The only time you can go out doors is a horribly uncomfortable smoking area where temperatures reach 20 degrees hotter when baking in the sun.

The center should be shut down. This center is the biggest scam ever. They are money hungry. All they care about is insurance and money. They have no respect and no caring for the health and the care for their patients. I spent 27 days at Laguna. It was less than I expected. They decided to go co-ed while I was there, which meant all the patients had to move to different rooms and or different floors.There were several over doses, one death and several patients that would probably have been better served in a psych ward as oppose to rehab. All of these events caused the patients a great deal of stress, which led to classes spent dealing with these things as opposed to being spent learning skills that would help us in our sobriety. I personally felt as if I was short changed.The changes also confused patients and staff as to rules and procedures. Any time the BHT staff couldnt answer a question I was told to ask my caseworker. However, even though I requested to speak with him, it took up to 5 days to get a chance to speak to him. Rehab is stressful enough without feeling blown off by the people youre relying on.I was told that when I left I would have enough of my meds to get me through until I saw my doctor at home. Once home I discovered this wasnt the case. Its been a nightmare trying to keep the medications I need. Would it be too much to ask to have a 30 day supply when we get home?There were several staff members that I loved at Laguna. Many of the nurses, med staff, BHTs and facilitators were kind, compassionate people. I appreciate all the love and encouragement they offered me. I have 47 days sober today. But were I ask if Id recommend Laguna, Id have to say no.

HIGH TURNOVER, INADEQUATE TRAINING, & SET-UP FOR FAILURESent home WITHOUT a treatment plan and given no resources for continued care. Complete communication breakdown and set up for failure.Counselors on-site are inexperienced with high turnover, but very positive interpersonal experience with them while there. Doesn’t make up for the fact that the program was overall a set up for failure unfortunately. What’s more concerning is they have become such a large company that complaints are outsourced and responded to as a legal liability for CYA. We had a word of mouth recommendation to this place and it was shocking to find things were so mismanaged.Be careful! They will tell you a lot of stuff on the phone at intake that simply isn’t true. The people doing intake answering phones are NOT on site at the facility and do not really have knowledge of what happens there. They told us about many items, like reusable facemasks and guitar, that were not allowed on site during the initial search when they take shoelaces, ect.They are responsible for transport, but they are not reliable. You could miss your flight or show up with no one ready to get you to the facility Laguna no one at the airport to pick you up to start treatment. We got calls everyday for the week leading up to treatment confirming arrival then the person the promised would be at the airport for pick up wasn’t there. (Many addicts would relapse in this anxiety-inducing set up)Also led to believe insurance had been verified and confirmed coverage for services only to be told a week into treatment this was not true and asked to 1) pay >10k upfront or 2) leave in 3 days after completing less than 2 weeks of treatment.PLEASE look out for your loved ones if you are considering sending them to treatment here. 2 weeks was considered a long stay since the turnover right is so high, ended up with 4 separate roommates coming in/out in the 15 day stay.Treatment is not geared toward dual diagnosis as advertised and seems to attracted mostly alcoholics which you should keep in mind if you’re looking for treatment around other substances. The high turnover (in staff and patients) and lack of organization doesnt allow much room for healing focused treatment. Group therapy is unorganized and often run by whichever random person happens to be around, whether a staff member or newbie to treatment who just got out of isolation. VERY eager to provide MAT maintenance meds (like suboxone) which to me was just trading one pill for another.Do your research and decide what works for you, but we had several bad experiences and I felt obligated to warn others. After treatment I got online to look at reviews and saw many people who seemed to have the exact same bad experiences (lack of communication about facility policies, lack of transparency around insurance, ect).

I arrive at the facility it was beautiful nurses were great patient and understanding because I had a long flight, the feed me we laughed, I cried they assured me I would be ok & whatever I needed I had support. When i got there my skin wad irritated for some with a rash that was super itchy they didnt make an assumption of what it was they immediately sent me to a dermatologist & my insurance did not cover the meds but they made sure I had it regardless. I had an amazing Therapist & Case Manager who say me before I could see me & I got everything I needed. The staff from CEO down to House Keeper were friendly, helpful & you could see they cared. This is the place where mt magic happened. I started the healing process here & continue it today. I now have 16 months of sobriety, Im planing on school this year & I now work in this industry & i for the first time in all my years of working i can say I LOVE MY JOB I able to give back what Laguna Treatment Hospital gave to me. When you make the decision to free yourself from the bondage of addiction this is a hell of a start. I’m a nurse I cave here to detox, they’re always short staffed have new Medely nurses daily because regular staff always quits. Medical errors happening over and over and you’re not treated like a human being. You’re talked down to and forget getting any of your belongings anytime soon, I slept in my street clothes the first 24 hours. They almost killed a man on another floor by overdosing him with insulin . There was another younger gentleman there who got an intramuscular injection of a medication that was supposed to be given subcutaneously and they had to make an incision in his arm about the size of a nickel to drain the med. medications were repeatedly accidentally double dosed or not even given at all. I would never even recommend this place to my worst enemy, if I could give zero starts I would. The sad part is that people are so desperate to get better they’re too afraid to speak up . I’m finishing my nurse NP in psych and this just proved to me 1000 x more how horrible these money making systems are . If have a loved one I would highly recommend never sending them here. They have a covid out break here. You will be thrown in a room to rot you will not be allowed to leave the hallway and you will not be told what they are going to do with you. Ive been asking for days what the plan is even though Im covid negative and they dont have one. Ive tried to contact people hear for help about an issue. I had a nurse explain to me about boundaries I was only asking to speak to the doctor about my medicine. Youll wait hours to get your meds when youre withdrawing the food is awful some of the staff seems caring but as soon as you have an issue your on your own. Do yourself a favor and Im being very honest GO ELSEWHERE!

Almost two years ago I walked into the doors of Laguna Treatment hospital scared, lost, angry and depressed. My drug use had become such an integral part of my life that I didn’t know who I was anymore and could not even look at myself in the mirror. I was a lost soul searching for a new way to live and the staff at Laguna Treatment hospital welcomed me with open arms. I had been to detox/residential treatment 5x prior to entering Laguna Treatment Hospital and there was never a time where I felt so at home. My journey to sobriety and a new way of life started in that admissions room where for the first time I felt that I didn’t have to be manipulative, deceitful, and could truly become vulnerable about my disease for the first time of my life. A week prior I found myself in a less desirable section of Baltimore City meeting my drug dealer yet again pondering the decision of whether or not I even wanted to live anymore. It was at that moment I felt that I had my first spiritual experience and made the decision to venture to California and seek treatment at Laguna Treatment hospital. Throughout the entirety of my stay at Laguna I never once felt alone and isolated because I was surrounded by people just like me who had fought this disease and came out on the other side of it. From the support staff, clinical staff, case management and medical team I felt that everyone was 110% willing to support me in any means necessary to help ignite a fire inside of me that I now call recovery. I would have never been able to get the life I have today without my experience at Laguna Treatment Hospital and I now work in the addiction field giving back to addicts/alcoholics who are struggling in the same capacity that I was. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who has been caught in the grips of this disease because it opened my eyes to a new way of living that honestly exceeded any type of expectations I could have had in early sobriety.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I checked in about 3 weeks ago. I stayed for about 10 days. While I was there someone snuck in fentynol and xanax. As a result, someone overdoses and died. I was super broken up over it considering this was person was my roommate and good friend. Prior to this happening I had a great experience there. I was going to all the meetings making connections and real progress in my recovery.Because of the overdose the staff took it upon themselves to act like gestapo and thoroughly rummage through everyones personal items. Not only did they tear up the rooms and peoples personal property, in many cases they didnt bother to clean up the mess they left behind. It was a complete overcompansated reaction to the situation causing everyone to feel violated and confused.Well when they searched my things they found prescribed medication I had for restless legs (2 pills). I was treated by the staff as if I brought in Crack cocaine. So at 10pm I was escorted out of my room and told to leave immediately. I had no chance to tell them what it was or how I didnt try to sneak it in at all. It was in my bathroom case the whole time, including during the initial check in. The once warm and sympathetic staff did a 180 on me and treated me like a criminal.The check out process was appalling. First it was 10pm when they kicked me out. They made no attempt to find me a place to go or even a ride to a hotel. When they booted me, I had laundry in the washer. They wouldnt let me upstairs to double check my room or finish the laundry. They put my things in the dryer and when it was given to me, 3 pairs of socks were missing. On top of that, the clothes were still damp. It was super disrespectful. Also, they left a very expensive pair of headphones in my room and when asked to retrieve them, they said it wasnt there. The headphones were sitting on my bed. I know that for a fact. I also was not given a refund for days I paid for in advance. I am still waiting for the refund ($800). I cannot imagine treating people in this manner.I am left with a very bad taste in my mouth about this facility. Its sad because I was really doing well and making alot of breakthroughs in my recovery there. This place really only cares about how much $ they can squeeze out of your insurance and eventually your pocket. I would never recommend this place to anyone trying to recieve treatment.A lot of The staff there seems jaded and just tired of being there. The one saving grace were the other patients I met there. I made some true friends.I have since checked into another facility where I am treated with respect and dignity.

Im 53 and knew i had another relapse but not another recovery. Im so grateful for the always pleasant staff who stays stable and seem to love what they do. Jane the fun loving facilitator who i just wanted to take home is amazing and keeps the outings fresh, a special lady. Junko my therapist oh my no words could even come close to our breakthroughs gracious lady. Of course my case mgr Gina, who was overloaded but still wrapped my aftercare in a nice bow to send me off for success. I love you ladies ❤. Gary and oh Deanna those two have taught me so so much. The staff there were extremely annoyed, rude, an uneducated with identifying my health needs. They say it’s not a locked facility but seeing it for myself it clearly was, the rooms I couldn’t believe my eyes it truly an in all honesty was a dump, piss an poop particulates spread on the wall an floor. Let me speak on the intake process the worst experience I’ve ever seen and been threw an I’ve been to some tragic run down rehabilitation centers, I would love to hear from anyone that has gone threw this “life saving sanctuary”? The RN that tested me for TB clearly had no experience injections. When I did decide to leave the vulgar comments coming from the side of me by a clinic staff member i wonder what’s said behind closed doors by these “professional” clinical team members? If the unappetizing women that was two chairs from my left knew anything about recovery she should have treated me with respect in my decision. Michael Corr please know that your staff needs to be re-organized to benefit an improved your performance in helping save life’s!

Place is run down, pamphlet is misleading about chef designed food, I received pasta and meatballs. Why even mention the beach, as this place is located directly next to the 73 freeway, what a view, awful! It is also ONLY an 18 minute drive to the beach, which should not even be mentioned. Room had paint peeling off, no one enforced Covid restrictions, as staff let residents walk freely, coughing and with a zero mask policy (see pic). People lined up at 8 pm for medications, 20 deep and no masks, I felt like I was in a petri dish. This place is for you if you have NO other choice. Bottom line, this is just a place to hang your head with staff having zero expectations of you. If anyone has doubts, please ask the floor person in charge on level 2, they concurred with me that people who are out of their whereabouts detoxing will not adhere to rules. I find it offensive that anyone could even reply to this with a straight face, yet sleep at night knowing this is NOT a hospital, per the name says.

They were always on top of all my needs and were very knowledgeable and helped me through a brutal detox. Ill never forget this place, they will hold a special place in my heart for sure. Id recommend it t o anyone who is battling this disease. With coming up on my 1 year of sobriety, I know I couldnt have done it without their help. I was there for only 11 days because I left the program to go get high again but they were VERY persistent on getting me on a plane there for 8 months they kept in contact with me until I went. I absolutely loved it there it was just too far from home that I felt extremely lonely so I left but since I went Ive gotten completely clean and had a beautiful healthy baby boy not on drugs and it all started with Laguna .

For a rehab that charges thousands to go to, you’d think the TA’s would be a tad bit more understanding..... was refused food when I got there and next day because it wasn’t the scheduled hours to eat and apparently they’re incapable of going down to the cafe and grabbing a sandwich. Tried filing a complaint with the front desk and was sent back up to the TA’s the complaints were about and got zero help on how to file an actual with the facility and staff, so I guess this is the best option. If you’re looking for a place to go that doesn’t make you feel less than or go hungry, this is not the place to be. Horrible overall experience.

I loved my peers and my favorite class was Alejandra. She made the groups real and she’s a real person that connects with you. Cody is the best case manager and Tamlyn is the best therapist. I loved the TA’s also especially CJ, Sabrina, Adonis, Jessica, Queen Jean, and Mary Ann. Also Gilbert too he was new when I was leaving. All in all this place can help you!!!

Absolutely zero communication. If I could give zero stars I would. No concern for actual recovery, focused solely on numbers for profit. Spoke to SEVERAL staff regarding this, with staff in agreement regarding management. Spoke to case manager only 1 time, repeated requests denied then spoke again 20 mins before actually leaving for the airport. No transportation awaiting @ airport upon arrival waited for over 2 hours while they attempted to track down a driver.This facility was completely unprofessional, nothing it was advertised to be. I witnessed staff actually ask already established patients to leave “due to over crowding” and their mismanagement, leaving patients scrambling to make arrangements for another facility or arrangements to get home. 1 “outing” in 5 weeks, either the van driver was “on vacation” or the van was not in working order.Terrible experience I would not recommend to anyone actually concerned about treatment!

Well I was having a pleasant time at the center and then 6 days later a very rude guy named jerry maybe came and told me I had to leave my insurance wouldn’t cover me anymore but told me I could go to sheer recovery and do 90 days in patient residential,,, so lack of communication and other addicts acting on a power trip walks around like he’s holy then tho attitude,,,so now I’m at Walmart parking lot tring to figur out if I have to sleep in my car tonight,,, thanks guys way to be the solution!!!

Signed up for treatment because I had been once before and had a great experience. Also I had to only pay 200.00 out of pocket and pay for the plane ticket!This time I called and was assured I would only need to pay for the ticket, and 450.00 out of pocket. So I signed up. After 10 days of treatment, a man came in telling me I was responsible for 18,000.00! Needless to say, I checked out of treatment. I have had nothing but trouble since then. I just received a bill for 44,000! I was only there for 16 days! I called the company and they told me I was required to pay 4,000! I am very unhappy with this experience, and feel like Im being ripped off, I didnt even get the treatment I needed.I was put into a very dangerous situation, and now the billing problems have only added to my stress and become a emotional road block.

For my first and only treatment center they have helped me out greatly. Craig my therapist was such a huge help for me. His guidnace helped me come out of a dark place. My case manager Tayler was always on top of things. Gary had amazing groups and small catch phrases to remember them. The food was awesome. They made accomadations to meet my needs and surpassed expectations. The nurses from Johnny to Shawn literally all of them care so much about us patients. The BHTs are always on there game and care from the bottom of there hearts about us. Tommy, Jose, Oscar, Ryan, Tyler, and many more are so on point with the jobs. After being told I owe 10grand after being promised I was covered . This place is a scam most patients felt the same way and were swindled into coming then getting charged. When I left many of my things were not returned to me, including 2 pairs of my professional (I use them for my career) cutting shears valued around $3,000 for the pair. I have called at least 5 times about this. The first time I was told by the person from the facility on the phone that he might have seen them but every time I called back no one knew anything, and I was told that they would send an email out about it but I never received a call back. When I was at the facility I asked for an itemized list of things that were taken more than once and never got one. If anything is important to you do not bring them here. You may never see them again. I would appreciate if the treatment cente got back to me and mailed me my things.Edit: After this post someone from the treatment center reached out to me to get my address so my things count be returned. Sometime later I got a text asking if I had received my things. After a day or two with no packages I asked if they had a tracking number so I could see what might have happened. They did not respond and have not heard from them since. Im changing my 2 star rating to a 1 star.
