The Pros: Staff is very welcoming and attentive. Grounds are nicely landscaped and views of the lake are nice. Vicinity to the lake and restaurants are easily traveled,either by walking or driving. Room was large and kitchen well-stocked with utensils.The Cons: The Facility as a whole and individual rooms are very dated. Fixtures and furniture were in disrepair, leaking faucets. Pool area is clean but smelled almost over-chlorinated yet water was questionable looking and spa foamed as if there was soap or something in it when it was running; was way smaller than looked online and did not have any kind of view to the outside. It was not easily identified on room description that there is no a/c (used a travel site, so maybe its more clearly stated on other sites). This would not have been as huge of a deal if screen sliding doors actually had security feature of some kind so you could leave open for airflow, however no locks, so if sliding glass door is open, anyone can walk in. Bed was rock hard; honestly the fold-out sofa bed our son used was more comfortable. Very little parking for the number of rooms. I had switched from a different hotel at a similar rate because this one had looked like it had recently been refreshed and in great condition with a large indoor pool, but ended up wishing I had stayed at the first hotel. Will not be going back here nor recommending it and have already shared my concerns with the hotels in-house survey.Overall - not good or bad really. Just depends on what your expectations are versus what you want to pay for them.

We just got home from a two night stay at this hotel and didnt want to come home! It had a huge fireplace, kitchen, two bathrooms and a separate bedroom!! We will b going all summer with the kids. It was right next to the beautiful lake! Worth every dime! So Nice!!! Oh and it has an indoor pool and jackuzzi😀😀 Very clean and a ton of towels, dishes, everything u would need!

I guess it is best to start at our arrival. We arrived around the designated check-in time of 1700 hours and the staff members on duty were extremely polite, friendly and helpful and made the process quite easy and simple. Then the fun begins as we learn that this lodge is a time-share location and there is no air conditioning in the condo, which I am sure was listed somewhere in the small print, but we did not know until then. This fact leads the first problem encountered, which was parking. Since this is not like a normal hotel/motel, and there are many owners living here, many of them have more than one vehicle, which makes it a challenge to find parking. We checked in at the proper time and already the parking lot was almost completely full. After finding parking, we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor, which was made easier by having luggage carts available as well as an elevator. Oh, but let us talk about the elevator in Building 4. The moment the door opened you were overcome by such a terrible musty, moldy or foul smell, which we had to endure for three days. Really, they cannot do something about the smell. After making it to our room, the first thing we noticed was the room was extremely hot, because there is no air conditioning in the condo. They do provide you with a single fan, which did nothing to cool down the condo, especially in the bedroom. On the positive side, the condo was a very good size one bedroom and it appeared to be kept clean. I remember when I made the reservations, I spoke directly to the property staff to ensure we had one of the rooms with a full view, since why pay extra if you get only a partial view, which was offered in some of the other condos without paying extra. Well, the staff member told me this was a good room with a view, and they had just trimmed the trees a few weeks ago, so the view would be great. Well, look at the photos and you tell me if this is considered a full view of the lake. Next, we opened the refrigerator and noticed it was dripping water from somewhere. I tried calling the office, but no one answered the telephone, so I had to walk down to the office for assistance. I believe the staff member’s name was Heather, and she was very nice and immediately asked one of the maintenance personnel to meet me at the condo. After returning to the condo, within minutes, the maintenance man, name Hovencio arrived and checked out the refrigerator, but nothing could be done until we checked out, so we used a towel to catch any further water drips. Were we done, nope, went to use the television and one of the remotes had dead batteries and again called the front office and once again no answer. So, I am back down that smelly elevator again and walking over to the office to get new batteries. After receiving some new batteries, I returned to the condo to find that the remote still does not work. At that point, we stopped trying to even bother trying to get anything fixed. That night, we had placed the fan on the deck patio to draw in the cool evening air, which did a good job of cooling the great room down but the bedroom, no such luck. After attempting to go to sleep in the bedroom, a little after midnight we had to move to the pull-out sofa bed, which I would refer to as the mid-evil torture bed rack. The mattress was all of 4” thick, and no matter how you laid on the sofa bed you had to readjust constantly because the bed frame could be felt through the mattress. Unfortunately, this would continue during the second night of our stay, which was unfortunate to say the least. On the morning of departure, it seems all the luggage racks had all but disappeared, and the cleaning staff did not provide much assistance, except to say to check some of the other surrounding buildings, great thanks for your help. To the response by owner, no need to respond with your standard “boiler plate” responses. Let us just agree to disagree and leave it at that.

Highly recommend you stay here with your kids. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The property has ame parking and overlooks the lake. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The recreation room has ping pong, pool table and etc. They have breakfast on site including hot chocolate. The rooms are spacious and have a fireplace, with a full kitchen and dining area. They even provide dishes and utensils! It was a great place to spend a quick family vacation.

Beautiful and cozy place! We spent our anniversary here. Very clean and everything you need in the room. The lakeview was amazing. Our only complaint is the noise level above us, and we had a room next to the elevator. We will request the 3rd floor next time. We will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed staying here. The room was cute with a full kitchen and fireplace. We had an amazing lake view. They even had a rec room with games and a pool table. My family loved it. A great place to stay with the family.

We booked a lake view 1 bedroom apartment.The apartment is neat and nice, it has a kitchen and everything we need. HOWEVER, the lake view room we booked was nearly totally obstructed by trees. It should have called the “tree view or partial lake view”.It was disappointed :( since I was so excited and looking forward for the lake view, turned out it wasn’t what we booked. I asked the girl at the front desk about switching the room, she said everything all booked and the owners were there so there weren’t any more lake view to switch for us even tho we booked the “Lake view” apartment.We were on the bottom floor (despite asking for an upper level room) and our neighbors were apparently night owls and not a respectful ppl. They kept us awake until 3am walking around, banging around, flushing the toilet, showering.. we heard IT ALL. Trust the reviews that mention the older building and noise through the walls. Ask for top floor and hope they don’t turn you down like did to us :(

Having made a mistake with my dates, the hotel allowed us to change them with no problems. Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms with everything you need and great fireplace. Room 114 on the lake gave great views. Pity its so far away from the brewery. Shuttle needed especially in the snow.

Its a perfect value, the interior and furniture are older but still very cozy, convenient and they had everything we needed. You need to request room service (towels and bed) if you need it. The pool and SPA are older as well, they also have an activity room and an adult lounge to play and spend some time in a bigger company.

Been coming here for 30 years and always enjoy my stay. Its clean, lovely view, and close to the village and skiing. Staff is pleasant and helpful too. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fitness room could be cleaned and the requirement to walk over to the office and pick up the key; just inconvenient. Also 4 stars because 2 of the TV remotes needed batteries.Great place to get away and relax.
