We spent almost 4 hours at La-Z-Boy yesterday with the ever-present, ever-patient, and ever-helpful Brett Castle. He is a gifted salesperson in that he is very knowledgeable about the products, and quickly became knowledgeable about what we were looking for, our likes and dislikes. He didn’t push the sale but in the end, made a very good sale, in no small part because of his pleasant demeanor and intelligence. My family has been shopping at La-Z-Boy for many years and the experience we had yesterday was the best.

I went in with a friend who was looking to buy a nice recliner chair, and I made the mistake of sitting in one. They are so comfortable and seem to be amazingly well built. Angelina helped my friend with all sorts of questions my friend had. I tried a few different chairs while waiting and found I really wanted one too! I went home and talked with my wife and she said she would go look and she liked it so much she bought the chair for us! We highly recommend their store, their products and especially Angelina and the other people there.

My husband and I visited the La-Z-Boy store in Torrance yesterday to shop for a recliner. Our sales associate, Stephanie, was very pleasant and helpful. She directed us to the section of the store that had the recliners and gave us space to leisurely shop, which we like, but she was available to answer any questions we had. We found a very nice rocker/recliner that we liked and purchased it. The Presidents Day sale was still going on so we got our recliner at a great price! It will be delivered in a few days and we cant wait to start using it.

I got a good deal on the couch. The process of buying the couch is like buying a used car. I was told the prices reduced because they couldn’t fit it into the room of the previous buyer. I had to come in person when I could’ve easily ordered it online, you need to fix your process of how to buy a couch. Look at your competitors. I would never do it again. The only reason I got a great deal is because it was almost like you drove a car off the lot and I was rebuying it. Not impressed at all with the process of paperwork. I just felt like I needed a lawyer. For the delivery, they expect me to sit around all day long while they can’t plan a time to deliver the couch very very bad

Staff is very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were indecisive about which sofa/sectional we wanted. We visited the Torrance location a few times and everytime we were greeted and helped as soon as we walked in. Once we finally placed our order we had an electrical issue with one of our orders, it wouldn’t move. The Torrance staff was very quick to coordinate an exchange in a few days. I would shop here again.

Nina was great! It helped a lot that I pretty much knew what I wanted when I came in. Nina explained the differences between the two recliners I was interested in. During the purchase process, Nina was ver professional and thoroughly explained the furniture care options. She also knowledgeably answered all my questions. As well, she made me feel comfortable and heard. As for the store itself, it was clean, well lighted and welcoming. I loved how much space between pieces for browsing.

Quick and easy. Tried multiple recliners to find the right one and had had the choice of the right color wanted. The salesperson was very nice and answered all of our questions and explained many things that we didn’t even know to ask. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

I gave your product the lowest possible rating because it was delivered without the optional fabric protection that I paid $400 for. I bought the items (couch and two swivel chairs) at your Torrance outlet. The sales experience went very well - friendly, no pressure etc - until the very end. She asked if I wanted to buy the extended warranty and I declined. I never buy the extended warranty on anything since it’s cheaper in the long run. She then demonstrated their optional fabric protection treatment by dipping a treated Kleenex tissue into a glass of water - and it came out dry. I immediately said I definitely wanted that but it was a package deal with the warranty for 400$, and you could not get it without the warranty. No problem since that alone was worth the price. When the furniture finally arrived I tested it with a drop of water and it was completely hydrophilic - it was definitely not treated with anything that would make it hydrophobic. I called the salesperson several times but she was always out of the store since she knew what I was calling about. I then called the warranty department and they assured me the fabric was treated before shipment. I explained the store Kleenex demo vs the fabric actual performance and she explained that the reason for the difference was the tighter weave on the Kleenex vs the fabric. That is complete nonsense. I then realized it was a scam. They sold me the warranty which I did not want and I did not get the fabric protection that I did want. After doing a little online research I also found out that the warranty was also pretty worthless - no surprise to me by this point. I also notice in the online complaints that your response to complaints like this one is that you have no control over the people that sell your product - that they are independent. Well that arrangement is your choice and so you must accept that the LazyBoy brand is what gets tarnished. As far as the furniture - it’s fine.

We shopped around a lot for a new couch, checking out most of the furniture stores in the area, although not the biggest showroom they had the best selection and the staff were Super helpful friendly without being pushy. We ended up buying our couch yesterday it was a super easy ordering process. Can’t wait to get it.

I need to disclose, I am in love wit La-Z-Boy chairs, sofas and live seats. I definitely recommen their motor powered recliners. I love the built in wireless chargers. Looking for a sleeper sofa. Greeted at the desk with smiles and looking straight at me although she was busy on the computer. Made me feel very welcomed. Called for help wbich was already on her way. Geva introduced herself welcomed me and we got started. There were 4 different sleepers. Geva explained how sofas were made how they could be a standard or upgraded for diffn comfort. She had me sit on the diffn styles (longer leg vs shorter leg, a bit more solid seating vs a more sinking cushiony feeling). There are the 3 types of mattresses exposed for clients to lay on and feel the diffn among the 3. Standard felt comfortable. Dont think one can go wrong shopping and purchasing from Lazy Boy

It was a very positive experience. We were greeted warmly when we entered the door. Our salesperson, Nio, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in the market for a recliner. She pointed us to where they could be found, gave us information about the customization options and then allowed us time to browse on our own. She instantly had several alternatives and I settled on a Stratus rocking recliner. Large selection of fabrics and components, with lots of options to customize to my needs. The store manager in the Torrance, California, store is very helpful and user-friendly. Her name is Geva Joseph and shes a gem.Amendment a year later: Geva is still a gem, but all 4 pieces of the sectional we bought broke, some of them more than once. Geva Jospeh is till a gem and she eventually got Lazy Boy to give us a replacement couch. I hope that this one holds up better than the first one--so far so good. But dealing with Lazy Boy customer service is a nightmare. They delivered some items to the wrong address and we never found out until we called and complained. They will not schedule an installation appointment until the replacement part arrives, and then its 6 weeks before they can schedule--so you wait twice, once for the piece and then again a very long time for someone to come to install it. And every time you call you get someone else who has no idea whats going on. Eventually, I stopped communicating with them and relied on Geva to arrange everything--which she did cheerfully. But until they get their quality control and customer service in better shape, I cant give them an enthusiastic review. The sectional--when it works--is very nice, but I had expected far less trouble when I bought it, so Im downgrading my review from 5 stars to 3. If the replacement couch holds up better than the original for a significant time, Ill come back and revise again.Its now two years later and the replacement couch has held up well. The problems we had with the original couch have not recurred with this one. Im upgrading my rating to 4 stars.

Purchased a Meyers love seat with upgraded cushions. This was my final choice. But I had originally had 3 other choices of loveseats with different upgraded fabric. Jasmine, the salesperson took the time to work with all my different choices even though I did not choose any of them. She worked with all my changing decisions and was very patient. I did not feel pushed into making a decision before I was ready. I was pleased with her service and with the final loveseat I chose. Although the fabric I upgraded to, was rather expensive. Unfortunately it was the fabric that worked best with what I needed. All in all a pleasant experience.

I purchased a few beautiful living room pieces; recliner, couch and two custom storage ottomans. The staff was super helpful, patient and knowledgeable when trying to customize the furniture to our living space. They definitely deserve 5-STARS.However, the reason I only gave two stars is for the aftercare service weve received. Both ottomans were delivered damaged, had a small struggle to get them replaced (lots of calls, emails, pictures, etc.). Finally receive the replacement two months later to only be in the same situation! Both ottomans were damaged on the wood corners very noticeable and unrepairable!I emailed my contact from corporate that day, along with two more follows with no response. Im currently on hold as I type this hoping I get some resolution or at least an answer to the non support Ive received. (BTW, its been 25mins thus far with no time frame of when my call will be answered and this is my 2nd call). Were now almost in July and my original purchased was in February. Im beyond frustrated and frankly disappointed!

First of all I want to preface this review and state the overall experience was a 2, but the agent who worked with me was a 5. Going on Labor day weekend I expected the store to be busier than usual. However, I waited for an hour before I was assisted. The young lady who checked on me was already assisting another customer, but she was kind enough to stop and check on me. There were three other agents in the store, yet none of them approached me to ask if I needed help. The customer effort was greater than I expected it be. The only reason I didnt walk out was the reputation, quality of Lazy Boy, and the fact that I had researched online and knew what I wanted. I never want to be that person who self inflates their demands, but the wait time was excessive. Once the young lady assisted me everything was flawless. Her customer service and knowledge of the product cemented the sale; and, as a result I will return next week to purchase a living room set. Its a great store, very clean, mask enforced, and beautiful showroom. However, I cannot account for the wait times. I would say prepare to browse for a while and hope for a quick check up from one of the store agents.

I accidentally ordered an out of stock item on the website during the Labor Day sale, and called my local store to check their stock. The local store’s support was super friendly and let me know what recliners they had available for immediate purchase and texted me photos of fabric swatches. I was able to cancel my online order with a super friendly phone support agent and change to an in store order the same day. My chair arrived on time and already assembled, the delivery people were friendly and placed the recliner in the spot for me. Overall really happy with the quality and comfort of the chair. My dogs and I sit on it every day ever since it arrived. 10/10 super happy.

She was especially professional, helpful, thoughtful and warm. Ruya definitely went the extra mile. She never became impatient even though we asked her lots of questions and took a lot of time before selecting our ultimate choice. She hung in there with us and couldn’t have been better at her job. My Wife and I went to La-Z-Boy to find a replacement chair for our living room. Brandon Gonzales, our salesperson, was extremely helpful. He just checked in with us until we were ready with questions for all of the chairs we liked. We needed a chair fast as my chair broke unexpectedly. We went into the store and were immediately greeted by an employee Brandon, he asked who the chair was for. I told him mainly me but both of us also. He said sit down and let him explain the products and features. He then explained them then politely excused himself and told us to look around and he would answer any questions. We looked at several chairs. He did check in to make sure we were doing ok but at the same time let us shop pressure free! When we decided on a few chairs he went to work searching their inventory for availability of colors and styles. He was able to locate my first choice and schedule very fast delivery. During the process he was extremely professional and repeatedly explained all the particulars and went over the paperwork more than once to make sure we understood everything about the manufacturer warranty and the after market warranty and treatment package we purchased for the chair. He was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. He made the whole experience even more pleasant. I was frankly expecting a high pressure day of shopping at several stores but Brandon and La-Z- boy made it super easy!I would recommend this store their products and Brandon to anyone in the market for a great product at a great price.

I must have changed my mind 3 or 4 times in selecting my chair and all the ehike she was on the computer and checking in with other stores to make sure I got not one but two of my chosen chair and in the color I wanted. I received a call a day prior telling me what my delivery will down was and was even able to track my delivery in real time the way you do with an Uber. In the strongest terms, I recommend strongly staying AWAY from La-Z-Boy. Sales people are great, nice, helpful and lull you into buying. Getting the furniture is entirely another matter.We ordered a couch and 3 rocker recliners from La-Z-Boy in May 2022 at the Torrance store. At about the same time, we ordered a custom made sectional couch from Macys for our living room. Macys delivered ahead of their promised date. When we ordered from La-Z-Boy, we were told delivery would be within 4-6 months because of Covid. We started calling in December 2020 but every time we called, we got a new and different delivery month. I called just today (1/7/22) and was now told March. In December, I was told January delivery. I have been told December, January. March and April depending on whose talking to me. Of course, I now dont believe a word they tell me.I understand delays. We remodeled our whole house in 2022 and experienced delays but nothing like this! And La-Z-Boy Customer service is horrendous. They dont call back and they dont update us.They were happy to take our money and make promises they do not keep. Now, because they cant give us a firm delivery date and have exceeded their 6 month promise, we want a refund. Again, we are getting stonewalling and the run around.I will not buy from La-Z-Boy again and urge you to go ANYWHERE else.

The La-z-boy webpage says wall recliners save space and so did the salesperson when we went in to the store. But once we received our custom-ordered recliner, we found out it needs to be 2 feet from the wall. When we mentioned this to the salesperson, she said that was normal and changed her answer by now saying that wall reclining means that the back reclines more than the regular design. So because we have a narrow apartment we are stuck with having to move it when we want to use it and then move it back against the wall. We dont recommend this company (or at least this store bc their salesperson was dishonest or knowledgeable)

We were extremely excited when we purchased the floor model back in November, 2020. This was our 3rd purchase with La-Z-Boy and have been loyal, satisfied customers. The manager assured us that our purchase would be cleaned and wrapped and put away in warehouse until delivery. However, when the furniture arrived, the delivery team put our unwrapped furniture on the asphalt in the middle of the street on the fabric side, not even on the feet, we were appalled. In addition, the feet were missing I called manager, they assured a technician would come out to clean and rectify our concerns--sooo unfortunately we accepted the furniture. 5 months later and still not resolved. My biggest regret is not refusing the delivery, Customer Service is below par! Never Again!A technician has been out twice, the same technician. He said he could only spot clean and he would recommend for a second time, Cleaning and Re-Scotchguarding.I have not heard from Lazy Boy. Technician was out for a second visit on 3/13/2021.To resolve the problem, I am looking for some kind of discount or credit marked off my original purchase.I am not satisfied thus far with the service . So after waiting almost 2 months for the couch to be delivered, that is when we found out. Then the craftsmanship was horrible. Trying to get a repair man out to fix it took for ever. Do not buy furniture from Lazy Boy. The salesman told us we were buying a leather sofa. After 2 years, it cracked and the coating is coming off. Went to the store and I was informed that we did not buy a leather sofa.......salesman clearly misrepresented the item. The manager told me that that was pretty standard for that material.......said it usually starts cracking after a couple years!!!! Called customer service and they were no help. Was transferred to corporate, supposedly, and the woman said I could take a picture and MAYBE they would give me a discount on a repair since it was out of warranty. I cant believe a company would not stand behind their product even if it is out of warranty. I will not pay more to have something fixed that is clearly defective. They should at least come look at it and repair or replace at their cost. Now I either have to live with it or trash it or give it away. No chance of selling it......who would want to buy it? I will never ever again shop at Lazy Boy.

Our Sales Associate, David Smith, quickly explained the recent advances in the power recliner line and we found our new in less than 10 minutes, paid for, scheduled delivery in another 5 minutes and it was a done deal!Many thanks to David. Walked in with a remote talked to salesperson she said that it is from a old recliner! That I would have to call the main office! She showed me a remote they use now ! Mine was a dinosaur, so I was afraid they would not have a replacement and I would have to take it apart and tried fix it! So I asked her to show me some, told her I did not need one that lift you up I could take a regular recliner with no rocker she showed me a couple and I liked one I asked her about delivery she got me that and she told me about treating my chair which I decided to do!We had a good experience and we can’t wait to get our chair!

So...on a Black Friday weekend.Went in to LaZboy in Torrance..got greeted at the door..then shopped around without a sales rep following us around which I LOVED! Picked out a set ..then started talking to Nataly about it ..colors,fabric etc...she was gracious and polite showing us different options..then told her we’re not ready to buy that day..went on to about half a dozen furniture places...even though some of them were definitely lower priced than LaZboy but...the great customer service and not to mention the better quality products made us come back..and it got better..Nataly wasn’t available so Sherry helped us out and man..she was awesome too! ...went out of her way to hook us up with a great deal on that quality set that we wanted! The in store experience was excellent but delivery and customer service afterward was a nightmare. The couch delivered as scheduled but had a small scuff on the armrest. The deliveryman actually used a black sharpie to fix it. I rejected the product. I have been in contact with Geva the store manager via e-mail and was promised delivery by the end of February. After checking today, delivery is two weeks later or second week of March. The initial purchase date was 1/20. Very disappointed!

My husband is having hip replacement surgery this week. I know, at 73, he will have difficulty both sleeping on his back-which he never does- and getting out of his chair. Last Wednesday, I went in and spoke with the manager; I believe her name was Tema. She was very gracious, let me sit in multiple chairs and try different options. She gave me printouts with options and handwritten prices, as there was a sale. It took a bit of thinking, as prices for a Pinnacle with headrest and lumbar options was more than I anticated, but on Saturday morning I went in to purchase one. Tema wasn’t there when I went in. Cherry told me Tema would come in at 12:00. Cherry told me that they had sold the store Pinnacle model, and then she searched other stores. As she had no luck finding one, and I did not want to wait for two weeks for the delivery of a new chair, I left.At home, I thought and thought about it, then decided I would get a cheaper lift chair and go ahead and order a Pinnacle; they are just so comfortable! When I returned to the store, Tema was there and told me they had found a chair which could be delivered on Thursday, which was perfect, exactly suiting my needs.Your chairs have been a part of my family since 1962 when my dad, who was 6’ 2”, bought his first one. Your chairs are oh-so-comfortable, and, while expensive, are worth the extra cost. With his new chair, I expect my husband to be able to sleep easily and get up and down painlessly after his surgery.
