Alex is great! He was recommended to me by a friend. The best thing about this place is he doesnt charge you unless he can fix it! I wish more tech repair companies were like this place. Hes also pretty good at responding back to texts/calls and is open Monday through Saturday.

Great guys, helped me out with my problem quickly and efficiently. Bought a used PS4 from a second hand site, turned out it had a motherboard problem. They managed to let me know what the problem was in two days so I could return it. If you’re in Walnut, give them a call!

LA Tech Repairs was referred by my sister and I cant say how much I appreciate them. They have tried to work on my phone for over a month because of unforseen troubleshoot but he perservered and finally told me that my phone is dead. He did not charge anything because he was not able to fix it but still gave him a good tip for all his troubles. Very honest with his work and prices. I will be referring him to other people. Very knowledgeable individual.

Alex at LA Tech repairs is legit! I brought my daughters iPad in to repair a cracked screen as well as the bent aluminum casing. The repairs were completed and was working great however, my daughter failed to tell me that a broken off headset plug remained in the jack. I attempted remove with tweezers to no avail. I returned to Alex and said he will try to remove with the hope of not having to open up the device again. Alex was able to magically remove the broken plug with some soldering tools for no charge!! Service received from Alex is top notch!Thank you all at LA Tech Repairs!!

Went to LA Tech Repairs to check out if they could fix my son’s gaming laptop, which needed a new screen. They said they could fix it, but originally the quote they gave me was a bit out of my price range with the holidays and everything. When I declined the repair due to the price the guy said he would try his best to see what he could do to help me out. He called me back about 15 minutes later and was able to drop the price that was more my budget. I think the way this company went above and beyond to help me was awesome. My sons laptop was repaired within a few days and the guy at the counter was super friendly. LA Tech Repairs is A+ in my books definitely would recommend going there to anyone. Great staff, very friendly and great work.

All I can say is these guys know what they’re doing! I had an Xbox series x with a broken hdmi port and video chip which needed replacing. They were able to diagnose the problem quickly and update me each step throughout the repair process. Microsoft wanted $300 to ship it off to them and repair, LA Tech Repairs did it at a price you can’t beat. Definitely recommend 👍👍

When I accidentally tripped over and dropped my baby--err, I mean PS5 last night, my heart jumped into my stomach. I thought I was doomed. LA Tech Repairs came to my rescue and they delivered the service FAST! I called around to other game console repair shops in L.A. to get estimates of prices and not only was this place the least expensive, they were also the fastest. Other places quoted 1-3 business days turnaround. These guys? 1-2 HOURS, same day!!!! Now, I will say I was lucky because they happened to have the parts it needed in stock--thats not always the case. I thought my HDMI port was the only issue with my PS5 but when Alex called me two hours after drop-off he said that he noticed a micro-fracture on the video chip and that when theyve fixed other HDMI ports and they still didnt work, the replacement of the video chip was always the answer 100% of the time. When I asked how much more $$$ it was going to cost, I got scared.... but he told me that since he had already gone into the system he would only charge me for the hardware. SO. NICE. He asked permission to go ahead and replace that chip too and then half hour later, my baby was like new! THANK YOU ALEX and LA TECH REPAIR! I will definitely drive 25 miles back and forth again should I ever need your services. And dont take this personally... I hope I dont need them again. :)

What an amazing experience that I had here at la tech repairs. Initially had a problem with my Xbox One and Alex was there to help right away. Whether it was through text or phone call he was there updating me every step of the way. Ultimately my Xbox was unrepairable however I had such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place for anybody that needs any electronic repairs

Ive had a broken Playstation 5 for almost a year. Through many hours and attempts of trying to fix it myself, I gave up and took it into a repair shop. I did not have high expectations for any place to fix it because the common theme from my research concluded that the Playstation was totaled.The issue I was having with my Playstation was that one day, the system just stopped working. It shut off while I was playing and would not turn on again. The only thing the Playstation would do was beep. No lights, no picture, no function besides the audible beep. And I tried and re-tried everything to turn it back on over a a span of about a year and yet, nothing worked.I brought it into LA Tech Repairs just for their free diagnostic test. It was a fast and simple process where I would receive my results within 24-48 hours. When I first got a call about the condition of the Playstation, it was not encouraging news (as I anticipated) given the technical problems I was having. However, they wanted to be thorough and asked for additionally time to work on the device. And about 2-3 days later, they were able to identify and solve the problem that my Playstation was having. Its been about two weeks since Ive had my PS5 and it is still working as good as new.Through the duration of this process the employees were very transparent and accessible with me. They gave me updates and feedback in both a timely and comprehensive fashion. I was very pleased with their customer service and overall job performance. They saved me a huge amount of money because my alternative was a whole new system.Below, is a quote from one of the employees at LA Tech Repairs about the issue I was having.Hey Garrett just following up with you. We replaced your power supply and a shorted circuit on your board. No specific chip more or less a capacitor but theres tons on the board that will cause different issues. Just identified which one an replaced it.I am very appreciative of all their hard work and would absolutely recommend seeking this business for repairs. I can confidently say that I will be a returning customer should any of my other technical appliances have problems.

My PS5 tipped over and took a tumble. It still turned on but I was getting no video signal. I called la tech and they mentioned it could be the hdmi port. I brought it in and was greeted by Alex. He looked at it and immediately he knew right away the hdmi port was damaged. He said he could repair it in about an hour. Ended up taking less than an hour ! He tested it in front of me before paying and the video signal was back. Super satisfied with the prompt service and the Alex was very friendly . Will definitely be back if I have any other issues.

We had a broken Ps4 port..or so we thought. I called many stores surveying price and customer service. Most quoted me $120-180 as a starting price. LA Tech repair quoted $80 and I only ended up at $100 (b/c it wasnt actually a broken port). I can only imagine what the others would have charged me. Additionally, they are the ONLY store that always answered the phone and genuinely seemed helpful. The difference between LA Tech and the other businesses was astounding. Finally, they did it same day....actually 1.5 hours!! Every other business was send out (1-3 weeks) or leave it all day and well probably be able to get to it. I suggest not wasting your time or money with any other business, just send it here.

Girlfriend has gone here 2 times- all 2 times, the screen has broke. First, the phone would overheat and eventually blew out the camera. Second time, the LCD broke. Called to see if we could work together on making sure they fulfilled their SLA, and was hung up on. This is all in the last 5 months. A phone was purchased here for her mother as well. Broke as well.Absolute trash people, horrible business and whoever runs this place probably doesn’t know their trade or can’t tell a good hire from a rock.This is infuriating and overall really disappointing. Highly advise skipping this business.

This place saved my life! I dropped my PS5 and the hdmi port literally broke in half. Sony told me it would take months to repair and I would have to send it in for a diagnostic first. I found this place and they were able to fix my PS5 HDMI Port in literally an hour and a half! I called many places and none of them said they would be able to help. Alex is great and made sure to show me that it worked before I paid. Even comes with a warranty. Highly recommend this place!

Alex was fantastic. His knowledge and understanding far surpass all previous people that I have used for mobile repairs. He was understanding to the situation and worked well with me on this issue. Ive used Alex and LA Tech Repairs for a couple of my business phones. Alex and his team are great over the phone, prices are very reasonable and this is my go to shop for level 3 iPhone repairs. Anything board related I run by Alex to see if their shop does it. Im not local to this shop but found them based on reviews; you know anyone with a 5 star rating on Yelp cares about the customer experience and quality of their work. They accept mail in orders and their turn around time is fantastic. If you have an iPhone 6 Plus with Touch disease( aka the Touch IC reapir), U2 charging chip repairs, etc, definitely call this iPhone repair shop!

This place is the best! He helped me deep cleaned my ps4 and he also helped me replaced the internal fan along with other internal components inside of my ps4; I was looking for a place where I can get my ps4 fixed cause my ps4 kept on making weird noises like it kept on beeping 3 times all the time and making this disk ejecting noises while there is no disk.All I’m trying to say is that if someone has a real dirty/dusty ps4 or other ps4 issue you should bring it to L.A. My phone was water damaged and beyond repair but Alex was able to get all my photos, and contacts off it. The $80 I paid was well worth it! He helped me create a new dropbox to transfer my contacts to my new phone -- seems simple.enough..but factor in being 65 and totally plagued with memory loss -- monumental task. Passwords can be so very tricky. However, Alex was so very understanding and kind and.. finished the job!I also bought an otterbox for my iPhone 6 for just $15. :-)

I needed a hinge fixed on my HP laptop a few years back and I took it to Alex. Also note that I live a little over an hour away.Turns out he only needed to snap the laptop back into place so he didnt need to use the hinge, cool no big. Anyway I got home and my laptop didnt turn on. The light didnt even turn on when I plugged in the battery. I called him and drove back. He apologized bc there was a flood and my laptop got water damage bc of spacing issues in his shop so it was left on the floor 😳.He said hed fix any issues he caused. It took a bit to get it back and he sounded frustrated when I would check up. Im a freelancer and my laptop is my main source of income. I also dropped by when he didnt give me an update but he didnt have time.Finally I got my computer back. He didnt change the battery even though I thought he was bc you know water damage. It dies the moment its unplugged so I cant really take it on location. And I got it back with semi broken speakers. For some reason they only work with headphones. I didnt want to drive back AGAIN, annoy him, and wait or get my laptop back in worse condition.I was extremely annoyed bc I used to see him all the time for not only for my family but for my friends broken devices.He essentially ruined my laptop and I just took it bc I didnt want to deal with the drama.I will say hes good with iPhones and PS4s. But will I ever recommend this shop, sadly no. Sighs.Late post but still valid. I shoulda sued for a new laptop. Bring items at your own risk. GL!

I’ve been coming to Alex for my tech needs for years and I’ve never been disappointed. No matter what the issue is, he’ll find a solution. If he doesn’t know off the top of his head, he’ll do his research until he does know. I recently had an issue with a very loud and hot laptop.
