I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience with a sales person that I felt I needed to comment.Susan (at the West Sacramento La Mesa showroom) has been GREAT to work with when looking for a camper van. She is very knowledgably about all of the brands and specs. She has also been very patient and listens to our wants and concerns. She even came up with things we didnt know we wanted, just by listening to what my husband and I talked about with each RV. We have never felt rushed or pressured.We were also able to look at many more options than we thought possible at one location, and even though we still are deciding between 2 -3 vans, we want to buy one from her. Highly recommend her guidance if you are in the market for a new RV.

*******WARNING FOR PARENTS *******We went to La Mesa West Sacramento CA to purchase a camper so we could take our son who is autistic out camping more. He is a sensory seeker and needs to be outdoors 80 percent of the time. We let the salesperson know this right from the get-go so she understood our goal for purchase. We fell in love with the Winnebago Solis 59P National Parks Edition, and we were told by the salesperson Susan that the van had car seat anchors and tethers so that we could safely take our son with us. On the day of pick up the rep that does the walk through to show you how the van works also ensured us there were anchors and tethers. We trusted them both because we are new to the RV world and were putting our trust in the experts. When we got home and attempted to install our car seat, we found no anchors or tethers. We looked it up and found out that our model does not come with either. We called Winnebago and confirmed with them as well. La Mesas two offers from the GM of the store and their corporate attorney is to have La Mesa pay for a third party to add a tether which is not safe or to trade in the van at a used car value. The second option would end up costing us even more money so neither are good choices. The salesperson lied and stated she told us the van did not come with either the anchor or tether. We bought the van under false pretenses that it was equipped with everything we would need. Why would parents ever spend over 100k on a car they could not drive their child in when the whole purpose was to buy it for their child. We highly warn any parents to be weary of shopping at this location or even the company at all since they do not know their rigs the way they should and are not willing to take responsibility when their staff provide wrong information. We are now stuck with a van that we can only use for a short period of time before our son has to be faced forward. We do not have the money to “trade it in” for a used car value and get something else. It’s a disgrace the way we have been treated and are having to literally pay for their mistake.

We ordered a class C motorhome from this location and waited seven months to get it. When it finally arrived we drove two hours to the dealership to take delivery. Upon arrival we found this brand new vehicle in deplorable condition. There were bug splatters on the front cap, which they said they could remove, huge scratch on refrigerator wood panel door, white over spray of some king on the rear bumper, raw and exposed wood cuts inside cabinets, damaged pocket doors, excess glue and caulking slathered about the outside, lettering decals on from cap peeling off, toilet mounted crooked, AC vent bezel hanging down from ceiling and much more. I understand the dealer didn’t build this thing, but they should have prepared the vehicle properly and fixed all the issues before a cash buying customer shows up. Instead we were told, “hey look let’s handle this the fast way, let’s just refund your deposit and you go your way and we go ours” then after I declined that offer they said, “how about we take 2k off the price and you take the unit as is” My wife and I were shocked and disappointed to say the least. I would not send anyone to this particular dealership at all.

I was sold a van that has not been check and it took a long time to get it fix. When they turned over to me I was told that everything has been doubled check and it wasn’t I was told that the, brand new van that I purchased was mis wired. And new problems keep coming up and their schedule for warranty work is always long like 2-3 months long.

Pick up our first rv here. All the transactions go smooth. They provide great services here. Took one star off because the new rv did not come with sewer hose and any hose that rv hook up needs, I am so surprised of that. The dealership did not even offer any thing we can purchased on site. For people which come from far away to pickup your coach need to camp for the first night will be a problem. You can’t use your rv when you picked it up at the same day. And nobody told us we need to prepare for that until we pick up orientation. Everything else is great. They can done better than that.

Great experience from start to finish. John helped answer a bunch of questions online before I even stepped foot in the showroom.Once I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Chris. He listened to what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect rig right in my budget. They are quick to sell you a 200 thousand dollar rec van, but within a couple weeks of buying it they couldn’t care less about fixing an issue they delivered the van with. Do yourself a favor and buy from anywhere but here. Absolute joke when it comes to customer service.

I picked up this Minnie Winnie yesterday . The staff was very helpful I was to pickup a different unit the Saturday before after going through the unit I was not happy . I was about to leave then I saw this unit after looking it over the sales manager worked with me . La Mesa was able to transfer the extras I wanted to this unit so we had a deal . The staff worked with me they were very helpful . La Mesa has a lot of units for less than one hundred thousand go take a look .

The people here are friendly, the wait times are pretty ridiculous but they do good work when they do good work. Sometimes these RV’s trick the techs and you have to come in multiple times for the same issue. With the long wait times, your coach battery usually dies and it gets pretty costly to change out your battery every time you have to leave your coach in for service. Remind the service advisor to remind the techs to charge batteries, that sometimes helps.

Service department is way overbooked, and you have to wait months just for an appointment. Meanwhile they tell you to contact the maker of your battery, and the maker of the battery says it was sold by the dealership and they will definitely take care of us. They definitely ARE NOT taking care of us, and our 6 month old van cannot be used.

Last week we purchased our first RV from La Mesa RV, a dream come true for us both. We had a wonderful experience. Its an amazing showroom with so much from which to choose. We especially enjoyed working with our salesman John McCain, who we highly recommend. Steve Grudger was also integral in showing us all the great RV options the showroom had to offer. I was extremely happy with the delivery technician Brandon Olsen who clearly went above and beyond to ensure we could get our new Solis on the road. We encountered an issue that may have delayed us from being able to use our RV for a few weeks or longer, but he dug in and got it resolved. He truly cares about the customer and deserves a raise! These kind of employees are what make companies great and the support of Jason helped him get my problem resolved.

In 40 years of RV ownership this is the first service center that corrected all of the problems with our new motorhome and in the timeframe that they told us it would be done. The only thing I didn’t like was the 5 month wait for an appointment for service.

LaMesa RV in Davis, CA. performed a recall on my 2022 Leisure Unity Island Bed model issued by the manufacture of the RV. They performed the required installation of the supplied part to prevent a possible electrical short between the refrigerator and main cutoff switch. The work was performed timely and with much care. I highly recommend this dealer in making repairs or installing upgrades to your RV.

First of all I received the best price on my Class C motor home, saving $7,500.00 receiving more options than other dealer in the Sacramento and Auburn area. My sales person, John McCain was outstanding, honest, and explained everything about the RV. I left the dealership with no pressure from John and returned the following day to make my first RV purchase. John was the one of the best individuals I have worked with to make such a large purchase. Thank you John for your communications during this period, you always answered my calls and answered my questions. At the end of my purchase I was sent over to Ansel who methodically walked me through the RV controls. This young man exceeds all expectations of a professional individual who cares about making sure the customer understands all the buttons and controls, thank you Ansel, your the best. Its was fabulous. Our first time visiting and we were there to just do some research and look at a wide variety of RVs. They have a huge warehouse filled with RVs of all types and an outdoor area with some more.We are new to RVs and will be buying one in the near future.We spent over 2 hours exploring all that they have inside and outside.We went in with an idea of what we would like and discovered we liked something totally different, lol.We were greeted on entry, we explained we were there to explore and learn. He said, great I will have someone check up on you later.We were checked on, had all our questions answered.We have never been to an RV Show, but I imagine its just like going to this giant warehouse full of everything under the sun.We will be back at some point for a test drive.

These reviews cant be serious. I purchased my RV from La Mesa near the end of 2020. The sales process was meh, however we did get a decent sales person to find us a Travato GL. The van ended up being fantastic in the beginning, however we ended up with a few minor issues that we could never get taken care of by La Mesa. It is nearly impossible to get a hold of our service person and had to leave about 10 messages to get anyone to call us back. We had a wire for our Volta system come loose and could not get scheduled into service for 3 months. So shout out to Volta, as they flew a tech out to where we were staying. he fixed the problem and indicated it was a quality control issue from the winnebago factory. We never were able to get some other small issues fixed due to warranty expiring. So needless to say, do not purchase from La Mesa

Purchased a new Winnebago Vista and at the delivery walk thru we noticed several cosmetic issues such as a hole in the front privacy screen, etc. We were told make a list, and it would all be handled at our 30 day visit. Took it out for our first trip, one of the drawers came off the hinges, the one piece floor had a large bulge, a cabinet was falling off, and the black tank would not drain. This wasn’t our first rig, so we know how to drain and avoid clogs. They charged our warranty to repair the cabinet, and the privacy screen. Wanted to charge us for failing to dump the tank before bringing the rig in. Well if we could have, we would have, and there would not have been an issue. Read us the riot act about how they were certain there would be a clog and it would be all our fault, basically we’re idiots, etc. Ended up being a piece of PVC - construction debris, shocking, just like we suspected. They told us the floor had been repaired by cutting and lifting up the flooring from under the sofa to repair the bulge, so the repair to the floor would never be noticeable. The drawer they cut away the side of the frame to remove the drawer and added a second latch. Mind you, if you remove the top drawer, you have easy access to the bottom (broken) drawer rail without having to cut the frame of the cabinet. Then they covered the cut with matching tape. Covid happens and we don’t use our rig for a couple years. We then take it out for a 3 week trip. The drawer hinge now falls off because the frame is damaged from their first repair. We take the slide with the dining table out, and expose the cut in the flooring that was made to repair the floor (not under the sofa like we were told) and it is peeling up like crazy. I call LaMesa service and they tell me that my repairs are only warranty covered for 90 days. So I will have to pay to have them fixed. The first fix was poor and we were lied to. Why should I pay them to do a poor job again? What is worse is that they tried to tell me that Winnebago told them to fix it this way! When I spoke to Winnebago they didn’t express the same thing, but did tell me the dealer was responsible for the repairs. Few things worse in life than being lied to by a service department. It’s certainly not how I run my business.

Tried selling our rv to la mesa and at first David informed me that they’ll be coming to us then but switched it because of the miles which I was okay with. He asked me for pictures after I sent him pictures he wanted to inspect it throughly which again I was fine with because at this point it’s leading me to believe we will have the car checked for additional stuff then sign paperwork. After inspection they tell me to wait for a call which ended in their decision of not buying it. He then proceeds to tell me our agreement was to have it inspected even though he mentioned to me that they would buy it for a dollar amount already. Wasted 2 hours of my day.

We walked into the dealership with the intent to just “look” at new coaches. We were promptly greeted by Steve, who inquired what we were interested in looking at. We knew the type of coach we were interested in and Steve made sure to show us all the coaches that fit our prerequisites. We not only looked at our desired manufacturer, but compared other makers. In the end, we were confident of the type of coach we wanted. Only one problem: we were upside down on our old trailer and weren’t sure if we could financially make the deal. However, after a bit of negotiations, we were able to complete the deal and we became owners of a brand new coach. The entire process was very easy with none of the pushy sales tactics. They were even able to beat my credit union’s interest rate. Overall, a very easy and pleasant experience. Consider La Mesa RV if you’re in the market to just “look” at a new rig. Happy trails!

We had been looking for the perfect RV for us and found it at La Mesa RV of Sacramento CA. We found it on the internet, agreed to the price, and two weeks later drove 400 miles to seal the deal sight unseen. For the past year I have had trouble with a negative post created by credit fraud showing up with the major credit agencies. My wife qualified so we decided to purchase the RV regardless. The day we purchased the RV we got the negative post deleted and La Mesa agreed to re run my credit and BOOM my score was in the 800’s. Both my wife and I qualified and got a great interest rate. From the greeter to sales, to demonstrator, finance and general managers everyone was fantastic. Their show room was amazing. Nothing else compares to it. This is our fourth RV so we KNOW from experience. I am writing this review only because we were treated fairly and got a great price. We highly recommend LA Mesa of Sacramento.

We are located in Vancouver, WA. We were interested in the new Jayco Swift 20D with the pop-up sleeper and could only locate two available in the entire US. One was at La Mesa RV in San Diego. We reached out and John McCain at La Mesa West Sacramento contacted us. John was super helpful in answering our questions and worked with his general manager to arrange for the coach to be brought to West Sacramento at no charge to make it easier on us to fly and check it out and make our drive back easier if we purchased it. John even met us at the airport and drove us to the dealership. We were amazed at the size and scale of the West Sacramento location and were treated like visiting royalty with absolutely no hard-sell tactics. Ansel spent nearly three hours orienting us to every aspect and system on the Swift 20D and quickly remedied the handful of minor issues we found during inspection. After a test drive we were ready to close the deal. Pete in Finance was cordial and made the final process easy. We drove it the 600 miles home and then another 400 miles over the weekend and everything is working great. We did neglect to notice that the Thule bike rack that we thought was standard equipment wasnt installed until after we arrived home. We talked to John and discovered that the build sheet did not include it and due to a shortage the factory was not including it in all coaches that came out the door. So while we are disappointed, it was our fault for not noticing before the purchase and no fault of La Mesa RV. All in all a great experience and we highly recommend the West Sacramento La Mesa location and John, Ansel and Pete.PS: John McCain especiallyl really took great care of us from start to finish and has kept in touch after the purchase to ensure our continued satisfaction.

La Mesa RV has a great showroom and a great selection, they have a number locations which makes it easy to get the RV you want easily. It took 3 weeks for a new one to be delivered. My sales person was very attentive and informative. He knows his business and made excellent suggestions after asking very pertinent questions. Taking delivery was easy and the review was comprehensive, Andrea was methodical and very patient. She made sure I got it.Having read a lot of stories about RVs, RV sales, and RV problems I was concerned. I was very pleased with how well I was treated. I would recommend La Mesa to everyone who is looking to buy or upgrade an RV.

My husband & I had a good experience with the staff. Everyone was friendly & knowledgeable. We went in looking for a used RV & left with a brand new RV. Susan, our salesperson was not pushy at all. She showed us all the possibilities & let us decide. The only criticism we would give them is to be more considerate of people’s time. We wee told that we could pick our RV up on Tuesday. They said that we would need to go through an orientation. We called & left a message and asked what time. They never told us until 30 minutes after the time they had picked for us. They called & asked, where were we? It’s difficult to make an 8:30 am appointment when you wee not told the time. Plus after the orientation, we waited 3 hours for them to bring the brand new Rv out. We were told they were just going to clean it up & bring it out to us. We felt like they should have told us ahead of time how long it was going to take. When I asked for an ETA they could not tell me. We could have used those 3 hours to get other things done. My husband values his time off because he is usually working. We felt they could have been more considerate of our time since we were making a large purchase.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience purchasing a new 2023 Class B from La Mesa in West Sacramento. I live in WA and have been searching the surrounding states for a specific model with a competitive price. I found EXACTLY what I was looking for at a price that came in significantly less and started working with them to purchase it. What I immediately noticed is their outstanding customer service and prompt replies, but wait - it gets better. I flew into SAC from SEA and John M. picked me up from the airport and dropped me off at my hotel. He picked me up again the next morning and drove me to the showroom for orientation. THAT SHOWROOM!!! Gavino took over from there and walked me through the van in excellent detail - this guy knows his stuff. We realized the table top was missing, but he grabbed one for me and then took the van to prep it for me to hit the road that day - filled all tanks including LP. Nick was the most thorough, easy going finance guy to work with and made sure everything was right for me. Im not new to the RV world, but Im new to this level of professionalism, courtesy, and delivery. Ive purchased RVs before with my husband and this was the FIRST time a salesperson would look at me or talk to me as a woman. They showed me the utmost respect and did not talk down to me, instead they made sure I was fully comfortable with each step of the process and knew I could walk away at anytime if it wasnt right for me. However, the van I purchased was made for me. Sincerely - thank you all for knocking this experience out of the park. I bought a brand new RV from them and drive back home. Found tons of cosmetic problems. There are even a chip from windshield and dirty clothes from cabinet. passenger seat is repaired 3 places. One 7 or 8 feet long scratch outside of the body. The TV has 3 big scratches. Their delivery room is inside so its dark and only give you two hours window so most issues you wont found. thats the tricky part. when you drive the RV back to home then you are on you own. They dont care about the customer experience and also dont care about those brand new RV. I paid more than 130k for this and I have to spend additional 3k or 5k to fix those issues. Its really difficult to reach them, If they take care of those new RVs as their babies, it wont happen, if they make me happy, I will buy from them next time and my friends or more people will buy. its simple way to do the business which you pleasure your customers you would have a good business.To Managers: just keep the new RV in a good shape then no above issues coming from a consumer.Save money and time Tips:#1 if you really wanna buy from them, please hire a professional RV inspector to do the job and also ask them move the RV to the outside under the sun, you will find all the issues. Planning whole day to do the inspection and dont sign any paper until second day you cool down.#2 Be careful with exterior scratches and you can only find under from sunshine, I do take a video in the delivery room luckily and I captured the scratches which its not made by me, but still they wont help and even they make it because I signed their forms.#3 if you wanna do finance with them, please talk to your bank and you may get better rate

We bought a class A RV from La Mesa last month. Everything went OK until the orientation. The young woman who walked us through how everything worked seemed to be in a real hurry and to have other things on her mind. Although she tried hard to be polite, she skipped over things like the dash audio system, which we found out later did not work because it was incorrectly wired. When we noticed that the toilet was leaking she said it was just water from the cleaners that morning. We double checked and the tech had to come and fix it. Also, there was very little discussion of how the electrical system worked. We were just told not to touch the inverter control panel and were never shown where the main circuit breakers were. The levelers were not leveling and we had to request several times that it be fixed before we would buy it. It would have been nice to know if La Mesa had checked any of the key systems and fluids before they sold the previously owned vehicle. Did they check the brakes, tires, chassis, oil, power steering fluid, etc.? Not a word on that. In addition, when we got home with the pile of paperwork, I discovered that there were no signatures on our very expensive services agreements. I have called several times requesting to speak to someone in the finance department and the phone just rings with no chance to leave a message. We knew when we left that no one at La Mesa would ever care to hear from us again or follow up to see if everything was OK, so here it is folks. Make sure you take your time and ask a lot of questions because no one will respond to you once you walk out the door with the keys.

When my wife and I arrived at La Mesa, we were greeted by a very warm and non-salesman like person named Susan. She made us feel welcome to browse and made herself readily available. She was not pushy or hovering, which would have pushed us out the door. We took a look around and Susan gave us space to explore. When we had some questions, she was easy to find. When she did not have an answer for a question, she would go get the answer and return with a complete explanation.

On Saturday May 13, 2023, I began the process of purchasing an RV from LaMesa in Phoenix. The RV had a list price of $89k. We completed the paper work, including the financing information, and expected to pick-up the RV on May 25th when we arrive in Phoenix. On Sunday May 14, I was informed that the unit was sold out from under me (Bait & Switch). To make things right they were willing to sell me a different RV, same year & options, but with double the miles. Only catch being that this one was $10k more than the original RV. After some back and forth, they were willing to buy down the interest rate, and I agreed to purchase the RV. Matt was welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the disabled accommodations (wheelchair lift, tie downs, wet bath accessibility, powered bed, kitchen area, hook ups, internet connectivity, etc.).After the tour, Matt helped us complete the requisite paperwork for the purchase of a 2023 Winnebago Roam.While waiting for the delivery date, Matt promptly responded to our email inquiries concerning after-market accessories.We reside nearly 150 miles away from the dealership; my husband needed assistance with transportation. Matt arranged for a staff member to pick up my husband from the Amtrak bus station and be driven to the dealership. He also assisted with the schedule of the vehicle orientation time. Bought our Thor Tranquility from La Mesa last March and our salesman was Brendon McClain. He was nice and courteous as most salesman are. Bought our Van used with 4,200 miles on it. After our very first trip we found out there’s a lot of defects. The cassette, alternator and the microwave were all not working properly. That’s why they’ll try to convince you to buy the extended warranty coz they’ll know they’re selling them with defects and make more money for service. Take my advice go somewhere else or you’ll get rip off like us. Oh if I can score them zero I will for sales and service department.

We were so thrilled to find a motorhome we liked. But when LaMesa RV of West Sacramento brought our NEW 2023 Redhawk out for our walk through, we were shocked. The wall between the refrigerator and range was gaping open with a view of insulation. Additionally, a large facing board to the built in dinette was split diwn the center and was being held together by masking tape. There was a dent to the back drivers corner and a surprise of someone used the toilet, which was hidden by a paper wrap till we took it home. My husband and I have had the most disappointing experience with La Mesa RV. We purchased our first sprinter van at the beginning of June and we did a walk through prior to the purchase. The fridge wasnt cooling and we were told it would just take time to cool off, but they assured us it worked and they had done a pre-delivery inspection to check that all major components worked. The van was plugged in to shore power the entire time during the walk through but we were told the solar worked as that was part of the pre-delivery inspection. After we brought our van home, the solar and the fridge were neither one working. We had our van for less than two weeks and it has been at La Mesas Service Center ever since then and is expected to be there for at least 6 more weeks. We spoke to the General Manager at La Mesa, David Cameron, and he assured us he was working with corporate to get us some money back. Ever since he told us that he has avoided our calls, failed to return any calls, and has been a nightmare to work with. Truly horrendous experience and even worse customer service.

Probably the worst customer service Ive ever experienced . I gave them two stars because I got a fair price for my Tranquility 19L. My first failed attempt after a 5 hour trip in a rented car ended because they tried to pawn off a unit that had probably a dozen things missing or broken. I believe it was a demo used at a RV show. Second attempt was successful but tried charging me 1500.00$ more than an already increased price above first attempt. The girl and the front desk couldnt stop shoving food in her face long enough to direct me to my salesman. I use that label loosely because I probably spoke with him three minutes total throughout the entire experience . The other five salesman were gathered around a computer and barely looked up . I closed the deal after a minimal walkthrough, only to experience several issues with the van once I got home. Its been six months now and I feel Im seeing light at the end of the tunnel in regards to issues, and repairs. Thankfully Thor has helped out considerably to get through these issues as La Mesa becomes non existent after cashing your check. LaMesa is like a self serve outlet shoe store, and if you get a good enough discount to offset their lack of customer service, I guess its worth dealing with them.

La Mesa post Sale customer service is non-existent. Quite possibly the worst major purchase experience I’ve ever had. The Sales rep Patricia didn’t even bother to get off her chair to greet us when we picked up our RV. She was chatting it up with the other sales reps 10 feet away. The brakes on the RV failed 15 minutes after we left, and the Sales rep tells us we’re going to have to spend the night in a parking lot. The GM of the location doesn’t even bother to return calls, just pawns it off to others. We hung out the next day hoping to take it home, only to find out that they never even looked at it. After finally picking it up the next week with the problem seemingly resolved, we took it to Sedona, and ended up spending the night in a hospital parking lot along the way, same problem. We ended up stranded for 7 days which ruined our vacation plans. Roadside assistance had no record of us purchasing the warranty because La Mesa never sent in the paperwork. Two months later and still trying to get repairs made and over $1600 in repair expenses reimbursed. Absolute nightmare!!

My wife and I researched RVs for a long time until we found exactly what we wanted at LaMesa RV. sent an inquiry about the RV online and in no time John McCain called. John held the unit with a small deposit until we were able to visit (from Reno). When we got there a couple of days later, the RV was staged for us to see. After a half hour or so, we decided to buy and asked to drive it out that day. They got right on it and in an hour or so it was clean and ready for our RV lesson by Eve who was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. The paperwork took no time and that was that. The worst customer service and service dept! I wouldnt even give one star. They dont answer their phone or return calls. Warning...be sure to inspect every inch, inside and outside before you leave lot. We found damage on our Mercedes Tranquilty van after we got home and in the sunlight (we live 5 hous away) and no one would talk to us or return our calls. When we finally reached the service dept. We had to wait two months to take it in and then they said there was nothing they could do since it wasnt caught before we left the lot. This was after they kept van in Davis for six weeks. We found footprints on the inside passenger door where they stood on it to look on roof. Dont let them rush you through what they call orientation. The girl gave us wrong information about things we asked her about and glossed over and covered up areas where we later found issues. Have them take van outside in sunlight where you can really see the body and paint. Shoddy work, horrible service department. Dont buy from LaMesa RV, Sacramento.

We had a very good experience at La Mesa RV Sales - our new Winnebago Solis had a leak in the roof and we asked them to investigate and fix it. Matthew Brinegar gave us clear expectations about what to expect and kept us up to date as the process continued. It was a tortuous process (finding leaks isnt easy!), but Matthew kept us up to date with clear communication in a timely fashion. We were delighted when, after all this, La Mesa fixed the problem ahead of time, coordinating the back-and-forth required negotiating with Winnebago regarding the warranty coverage.What was so good about this was the clear expectations that Matthew gave us early on; the clarity and timeliness of the communications, and the delivery earlier than expected. I own a Roadtrek Zion Van RV that had a lot of issues (I did not buy it from La Mesa). I originally brought it to La Mesa RV in Davis because they were the only RV Service Center near me that had experience with them. Now, if it needs service, I will take it to them. The staff was professional and did their best to assist me with my lemon. My Service Representative, Tara (Giboney) was especially helpful letting me know how things were proceeding and what to expect. She was awesome. And when she had a family emergency, Ashley stepped in and didn’t miss a beat. She was professional and they both made making lemonade out of my lemon as pleasant an experience as possible.The mechanic/Technician (I think his name was Steve) walked me through everything and answered all of my questions.End result? The issues were caused by faulty manufacturing and design flaws. They are all corrected and my RV lemon actually works the way it is supposed to.Lemon to ice cold lemonade on a hot summer day!I would also like to give a shout out to Dolores who did a customer follow up. I dont usually do any reviews but I must write about my horrific experience with La Mesa RV at the Sacramento location. I arranged to buy a class B RV from them because they did have the best price online nationally. I told them that I live in Colorado and I would be flying in to buy it provided that everything was as advertised. It was not. I should have known that I was in for a bad experience when my test drive was a drive around the block. I wasnt allowed to drive it on the highway. The RV had a large scratch in the paint where it needed to be repainted over. The RV also had a leak in the water tank that needed to be repaired. You would think if you had a customer flying in from out of town and ready to drop over $100k for an RV, you would have everything checked out and ready to go. Management was very unsympathetic and unwilling to bargain with me. They didnt seem to care that I flew in, took a taxi from the airport (because they didnt have anyone to pick me up) and wasted a lot of time and money with travel airfare. I cannot recommend La Mesa RV at Sacramento and urge you to buy elsewhere.

We were in northern California when the hydraulics on our leveling system blew and we lost all our fluid. La Mesa Customer Service pointed us to their Davis, CA location and we re-routed and pulled in on a Saturday morning. Mack and Ernie in service were able to jump all over it and help us resolve the problem. We were far from home (PA) and were grateful and relieved to have an accessible La Mesa service center to head to. Our last motorhome was purchased from General RV. I honestly wish we had the experience of other reviews here and were not “assisted”. We politely declined to be steered around by the salesman. We picked up RV on 6-24-2001. Salesman Steve Gudger he will keep in contact until he gets his commission and then will forget your name and everything he said. The day we signed the contract we gave then a due bill list of several things that needed to be repaired.One item was repaired out of four when we picked it up. the walkthrough was very light on specifics a major item was the switch for the powered amplifier for the antenna when it is powered on no CABLE TV. Two drawers locks were broken, both bathroom sinks had caulking around the drain and never cleaned up.One large outdoor compartment has no locks all other storage compartments have locks. POOR quality inspection on La Mesa.All dealers want to sell you the vehicle get it in writing that you will receive priority repair for all items demand a senior manager signs this agreement.Take pictures of any problems and date. IF you can hire someone that is a professional to inspect the vehicle for you.

The sales experience went smoothly much like you were buying a car. The post purchase experience, however, was not good. I encountered several items after taking delivery that I should have caught during the walk thru but they were so minor that I missed them. Then when trying to address the problems the NEXT DAY I was advised that it would be a couple of months before they could help but were unsupportive in their being able to do something then...as in it might take a while to get the parts. I contacted sales and did get an earlier appointment as an emergency but, once again, was told it would probably take a while.The short of it is I would have driven to Southern California to buy my trailer if I had known they were going to be so helpful with a minor repair and repaired these minor issues myself which I am doing anyway. What would have come if a major problem had been encountered? DO NOT buy from this outfit... run quickly somewhere else and talk to their service people first, have a look around. La Mesa has lost touch with the term service. I would give them less than 0-stars if I could.

We bought a new 2020 Winnebago diesel motorhome for $186,000. You would think that we would have received great customer service for that kind of price tag; unfortunately it was just the opposite. After signing the initial sales contract in May, we made the mistake of notifying the salesman that we would get it professionally inspected prior to accepting delivery because we already found multiple broken items/problems. Despite telling us that they would fix those issues, after hearing about our desire to get it inspected, La Mesa decided not to fix any of the discrepancies we noted during our initial walk-through. They waited till we paid our own money for an inspection so they could fix/address only those specific items; never having properly PDIed the motorhome prior to our out-of-pocket inspection. Upon the initial inspection by a Level 2 professional RV inspector, the technician could not even start the majority of the review because the coach could not be powered. The inverter was hanging by a few wires and all of the batteries were dead (which we told them about 2 weeks earlier). He had to cancel the remainder of the inspection and it cost us $150 plus a loss of 2 weeks towards getting the RV. After this failed inspection, we left multiple voicemails (they never pick up their phones) and emails with at least 5 different La Mesa RV employees (salesmen, delivery department personnel, finance personnel, and managers) over the course of 3 days. No one got back to us. Only when I called the general corporate number and requested a manager, then transferred over, did someone finally speak to us. Only when we threatened to back out of the deal did La Mesa RV start paying any attention to us. Even then though, the customer service was the worst Ive ever seen. Upon the second inspection (the batteries were still dead and the motorhome had to be jumped), there were still over 3 dozen broken items/issues. The roof wasnt even properly sealed in at least 8 areas (giant crack in seam that is supposed to make the skylight water tight). They refused to fix this, among many other items you think would be standard for a brand new RV. I could go on and on. This was the absolute worst buying experience my wife and I have ever experienced. We finally got our RV this last weekend and will hopefully never have to deal with La Mesa RV again. Dont let them talk you into a service warranty! Your RV will just sit for months waiting to get serviced and the time lost is way more cost than any money you think you might be saving. Just because La Mesa RV was busy with high sales volume, there is no excuse for the way we were treated. Many sleepless nights. Go shop someplace else even if the purchase price is higher (National Indoor RV Center is probably much better), youll be glad you did!

We had a great experience with the people at LA Mesa! We love out Entegra Odyssey 30Z. Its easy to drive, has a workhorse Godzilla Ford V8 and the interior is light modern and open. The salesman John at LA Mesa West Sacramento was helpful and responsive. Even though the service department was swamped they did their best to accommodate our needs. As with almost ALL motorhomes initially a few kinks but all that helped us were on the ball with assistance even the Tech Jimmy ftom Florida when we encountered an issue on the road. Ive owned my coach for exactly one week. There is about 10 things wrong with it. They did a horrible job checking it out before deliver, really rushed us through the orientation. No one and I mean no one can give me straight answer. Tech support is clueless, FLEETWOOD is clueless, LaMesa service department wont return calls, you literally have to beg them for an answer. I bought a 2021 Entegra Quest Sprinter diesel to upgrade from a 2006 30ft RV. My hesitation for the purchase was because of my age and concern that the unit would be too complex for me to work through. I should add that the unit was fully loaded which did add to the complexity. STEER CLEAR FORM THIS DEALERSHIP! My family and I have been looking for a new travel trailer for some time. After countless hours of research we all agreed on a winnebago 29ddbh with auto level. After searching the internet I was able to fine a few in California one of which was at this Dealership. Since it was one of the closest I called La Mesa rv in Sacramento to conform the unit was still there and available, the sales woman confirmed it was there and still available. I schedule an appointment for a couple days out and took my family out to Sacramento about a 2.5 hour drive. On our way out the sales women call me and stated the unit was water damaged! At this point I was about 30mins away from the dealer, So My family and I decided to Go see the for floor plan in person since they had a unit that was the same just minus some options we wanted. We ended up loving the floor plan but wanted the auto level and the upgraded stairs. So the search was on once again to find our 29DDBH. After searching for about 2 months one popped back up at La Mesa. I immediately called and spoke to a new saleswoman and explain to her my previous experience and asked if this was the same unit that was damaged! She stated it was not the damaged unit and the damaged unit was sent back to the factory. My family and I were a static so we put a deposit on the unit and agreed to purchase it. Well Im sure you all know where this is going it was the damage unit that they had attempted to repair. It was covered in MOLD.

Updated. I got the rv for a great price, now I know why. It was missing power jack buttons,battery,propane tanks, busted side lights,sink cover,shower curtains,stove rails, microwave door facial. I was told on pick up that it would all be fixed. Well picked it up on the day of appt. and still missing stove rails and microwave facial. They told me i can pick it up another day when they get it in or take it today and they will ship it to me. I took it home because I already took time off and borrow a truck to tow it. When I got home I didt see the busted vent cover, and tried to turn on one of the inside dome light it didnt work. I called them and they said I would need to make an appt. 2 months away is the earlest. Then after waiting 1 month I finally got my 3 missing items. But wait they order the wrong part for the microwave. I tried contacting Ron but he dont call or email you back. Tried contacting Chris,also no answer. Tried TJ who sold us the rv. He called back and said he will take care of it when got back at the office and no answer too. Ron email me back 3 days later stating they order the part after I sent him the picture of the missing microwave part. Who knows how long I would need to wait. I would never buy or recommend them to anybody based on my experience. They are quick to work with you when selling the rv but once they sell it, customer service is down the hole.

Clear and timely communications from Tara, our service rep, who made the process transparent and exceeded all expectations on a large and technical job: replacing our LiFePO4 coach batteries. Low inventory to.choose from unlike DiMartini who through demonstrated superior management skills and anticipation have a full complement of RVs to see, walkthrough and test drive without having to make a commitment to buy a vehicle that youre never driven. Saw their ads and signs saying they had 100s of rvs in an indoor show room. Waste of time.They may have hundreds of small class b van rvs inside but that’s about it. No travel trailers, only a handful of 5th wheels and a couple class a mostly used.The rest of the travel trailers and 5th wheel are outside in the 100 degree heat. Our sales lady dropped us off out there and we never saw her again once she realized they didn’t have anything we were looking for she wasn’t wasting any more time on us.They literally had like 2 or 3 models of 5th wheels and toy haulers. Like 2 brands of travel trailers. Just a very poor selection. Plus the stuff they had for the most part felt like the lower quality bottom rung brands. Didn’t see any higher end stuff other than 1 class a. Felt like being at camping world.Can’t recommend wasting your time here unless you’re looking for a class b.

Although there is a sign saying that mask is required, but none of the sales wear it, and they talk so loud in the front of the golf cart while driving inside and outside of the building and all their droplets went to you sitting at the back seats. They had given us nothing but the run around, and the management (specifically General Manager David Cameron) has continued to be the most incompetent and least trustworthy I have had to deal with. David Cameron continues to be difficult to reach and to sort our problems out. Please see first review below, they want to make money, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS.My wife and I had the best experience with La Mesa RV. John McCain was an excellent steward for buying our first class B camper. We were scrupulous with the check in process, taking well over the time allotted (with a 350+ item checklist) and John just laughed it off and told us he was proud of us.Mike Cisneros assisted with our walkthrough and he was very knowledgeable on a new model camper, answering any question I had, and humbly letting us know when he didn’t know rather than blowing smoke. Mike was very friendly and easy to get along with, and made the 3 hour walkthrough a great experience.Nick Sotelo helped us with the financing and last of the paperwork, and quickly accommodated a last minute address change as we had just moved. He got in touch with the bank and updated our records, and we were out the door in about an hour and a half. Nick was personable and friendly and made the clerical task of financing paperwork a breeze.We will be recommending John and La Mesa RV West Sac to anyone interested in a new camper.

Staff was great, not pushy at all. It was a hot day outside, but nice and cool inside. It made the experience much more enjoyable to look around at all the motorhomes.

Very disappointed it was advertised on TV and made out to be this great big indoor show room with loads of RVs. They said most of the TVs were at a show. Lot of people standing around only one person came up to the 4 of us after we had walked past them and were in the middle of the warehouse.

All these guys want to do is pressure you into buying a trailer and then once youre out the door they dont they wont fix anything I had a table fall over and they refuse to give me another one and I called him the very next day terrible terrible customer service I work for Trader Joes for 16 and a half years and Ive never seen this is the worst customer service Ive ever seen I rate this place less than 1 maybe like a quarter
