I recently had my first Fraxel treatment with Dr. Mani, I wanted to thank her for her honesty and taking the time to explain all the options regarding choosing what would be best for me. It’s been 2 weeks now and I absolutely love my results! Not only have I noticed a difference but I have received several compliments on my skin! Dr. Mani and her amazing staff made me feel very comfortable during treatment they did an excellent job!I would highly recommend Dr. Mani for any aesthetic treatments she is truly an expert in her field!

Went here to get a sebaceous cyst removed on my face and they did an improper job. After the initial procedure I told the doctor that it felt as though the cyst was not properly or fully excised. The doctor informed me that it is the scar tissue healing. Went in a month after the healing process and stated the same thing. That it felt as though there is still cyst inside. She just gave me a cortisol shot and said it will go away.Called 2 weeks after the shot and the office would NOT pick up my phone calls anymore. So I called them back with a google phone number and they answered that phone call immediately. Super shady behavior.I had to go to another dermatologist in another state that I moved to and the dermatologist showed me the cyst sac that La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic did NOT remove. My current dermatologist stated that if the previous clinic did not talk about removing the sac and show the removed sac, then the clinic/doctor did not do a proper job. Thus, why my cyst formed once more and I had to get another procedure done.Paid fully out of pocket to get the earliest appointment and was able to get in but I wished I did not do that. Would not recommend this place for any cyst excision.Staff: kind and welcoming.Doctor: Kind but did not listen to client nor did her job properly.

Just because you go to La Jolla that doesnt mean youre getting the best cosmetic services. After coming here a few times I had to stop after Dr Mani frantically injected my face with botox and not only did my eye lids start drooping because it was injected to close to my eye brow muscle but she put it in my chin, without approval,and my chin started having random spasms & twitching when I smiled. That lasted for about 5 months. I had A follow-up consultation to address my concerns.And they had said it was because of my age! I was 29!Ive been getting botox before that and since then for the past few years and that has never happened.She did not mark my face or go over my concerned areas.Before giving me the botox injections she just started Randomly injecting me in my cheeks. My chin, forehead, crows feet, lips.... Because Dr Mani was doing it.I was confident she knew what she was doing so I didnt speak up, I was a little confused but I thought maybe the outcome would be better than what I would have asked for. I will try to find the videos of my twitching chin and update this review.Response to your reply:Im new at Google reviews and find value in posting my experiences. I have only posted 2 negative reviews, and my experience at your office needed to be addressed.My name when I was there was under Breanna Parton. You will find I had been to your office a lot.When I came back to the clinic, you said it was because of my age the entire time and gave me a 10 minute facial massage with a vibrating tool- it did nothing and I felt uncomfortable the entire time. I am not confrontational and you pushed me into admitting my results were from my age. I knew it was caused from the procedure Dr Mani gave me.You mentioned the positive review I gave a clinic also located in La Jolla, that is deflection and irrelevant. But if you want to compare I will say this: there is a reason your clinic has so many promotions and discounts to drive people in. They dont need to offer anything other than a GlamFlam membership because their results have no competition.They have always exceeded my expectations, having a greater attention to detail for the goal I am trying to achieve.

It is apparent that during procedures and the final results that Dr. Mani is exceptional at what she does; I trust her work, and she is also very warm and genuine. This place is quite big, my appointment was quite quick, and when I asked for further information about a recommendation a doctor gave me they kept telling me prices of treatments instead of being able to provide me with further information. I was then told just to Google the name of the treatment and the issue associated with it. Everything about this appointment/location/doctor was fine, but overall it felt very impersonal. I also got asked to provide this review while I was sitting in the waiting room before my appointment even started, which is kind of hilarious.

Dr Siddiqui is a phenomenal dermatologist. She is the most thorough Doctor I have ever had for my annual exam, and I can thank her for finding basal cell on my scalp and sending me straight to get Mohs surgery. She takes her time, is kind, caring and empathetic! Her staff is equally good and are always happy to help.

I returned to La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic with Dr. Nasrin Mani after 9 years. Last week she performed fraxel laser and I couldnt be more happier with the immediate results. All my family and friends cannot help but notice how much my facial composition has changed in such a short amount of time. The job was so well executed my mom made an appointment for the same procedure. Dr. Nasrins hands are the best and I 100% recommend her for all your cosmetic needs.

Had a great experience here! Came for a bit of a Botox touch up, and l love that Tuesdays and Thursdays are Botox happy hour!The sign-in process is a little lengthy but it makes sense that they want to be safe. Once they were ready, they first took a few photos, I think as a record to track the changes. Then I was brought to a room that was very clean, almost like a doctors office.Dr. Mani asked what I wanted to touch up, and I know that they were minor tweaks, but she understood that what she may see is different from what I see daily. The process was quick and easy! Definitely coming back here and will also be touching up my filler, as well.Great experience all around!

I saw The NP Bri today for a consultation on filler/ botox/ and achieving symmetry in my asymmetric face. I have had bad experiences in the past, but was thrilled with her focus, professionalism, and desire for a natural result. She was so gentle, I did not even need to pre-numb! highly recommend Bri, and this office. Everyone was nice and professional, and I will be returning!

I had Botox injected in between my eyebrows, forehead, right underneath the lower lip (to make the mouth turn upwards) as well as a lip flip. Brianna Baldwin was my injector and I couldn’t be happier with the results! She really took the time to understand what I was wanting and was very kind. I like this clinic, except I had a terrible experience when I came here for a severe form of autoimmune acne (acne inversa). The head doctor, Dr. Mani, recommended I use the acne line (which doesn’t really do anything for this type of autoimmune condition anyway). She barely spent a couple minutes with me and then left the room and told me the Medical Assistant would explain to me how to use the products. I was highly disappointed the doctor wouldn’t spend the time to explain how to use the product line that cost several hundred dollars. And the worst part was that the Medical Assistant proceeded to tell me that my face is dirty and I obviously don’t wash it. I was mortified and humiliated. I do wash my face - this autoimmune condition flares despite normal face care. She told me how to use the products and then showed me out and said “good luck.” No recommendations for follow up to see how the products were working or if I was using them correctly, to see if I had questions afterwards, or to see if I had any improvement. I felt totally on my own, humiliated, and mortified, with an expensive product line that ended up not helping at all.

I could not have had a better first impression of La Jolla Cosmetic Laser Clinic. I spoke with three practitioners at my appointment, who were all extremely friendly and professional. I never felt pressured to purchase any product/service. In fact, the doctor suggested I hold off on a service I was interested in to see if it was even necessary. Laser hair removal didn’t work at all. I’m fair skinned with dark hair. My consultation with the dr said that I was the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. So I bought a full package. During the treatment my hair was falling out between sessions. They were telling me each time that the hair that was falling out was permanently removed as the hair follicles were treated successfully by the laser. So I thought I was seeing progress. They told me repeatedly that this was really good results. After my treatments, a month later ALL the hair came back. I will say I called the office first before posting here, to let them know how unhappy I was with my results. They told me that I had been misinformed by the staff and they apologized for misleading me. They said that my hair would be “thinned” not “removed” and tried to tell me my hair was thinned and this was good results. I know my body and there was no thinning. No hair removal. Zero results. They then tried to have me buy another round of treatment. I’m so disappointed I was misled. Spend a ton of money. And got zero results. The staff was not helpful when I expressed my concerns. It was an unfortunate experience

Dr. Mani is hands down the most amazing doctor! I’ve been using her for 6 years, and when they pull up my visit pictures, my skin looks more youthful and tighter than it did in 2017. Dr Mani and her staff are so pleasant and kind, and make you feel like you’re her favorite patient. Dr Mani never over recommends procedures and uses a less is more approach. I had a cyst that had appeared within the previous 6 weeks on my neck and wanted to get it checked out. Wasnt bothering me much, but it had grown a bit and I had wanted to prevent any further complications down the road. Went to another dermatologist who assured me that it was benign and the procedure would take 20-30 minutes, but somehow couldnt squeeze me in for another 3 1/2 months (even if I was willing to pay out of pocket), which was absurd.I called in to La Jolla Cosmetic for a consult and stopped by the next day to see what my options were. I was hoping for something within the next month, but after a brief check Dr. Siddiqui let me know that shed be able to do an excision for me within the hour after getting the equipment ready. Same day? Not 14 weeks out? Wow!I came out with the excision procedure completed within 80 minutes of my visit. Knew exactly what was happening throughout, was well informed of the post-op process, and had zero complications during the following week before having my stitches removed the next Friday. 3 1/2 months at the other place for this procedure? Sure bud.10/10 patient care, highly recommended.

I will never return here as long as Nasrin Mani is still working there. She made inappropriate and degrading comments about my body when I was not there for anything relating to my body. I came for a follow up and she again was rude, commenting on how many grey hairs I had. Two to be specific as she pointed out. She was late by 30 minutes to the first appointment and was not apologetic. Women want to go to a clinic to feel better - not be put down by a provider.

She addressed my issue and even scheduled my next, unrelated, appointment herself!Update: I went back for disport injections which I’ve had about 30 times. I asked for the equivalent of 40 units of Botox, which should have cost around $400, however they charged me $500! And made me pay in full before the treatment. Dr. Saddiqui spent about 5 minutes doing my injections. She tried to talk me into getting several more injections so my face wouldn’t have any natural movement, which I declined. She left me with a bruise on my forehead the size of a half dollar. I have never bruised from injections before! Not impressed, will go back to Allurant where they treat their clients like friends.

I found this clinic online desperate for a solution to a post-chemical peel reaction 3 weeks before my wedding day. I was able to get an appointment THE NEXT DAY to see a dermatologist -- Dr. Siddiqui. As a guy, it’s somewhat concerning when you begin losing your hair. It’s kind of an ever-present reminder that you are aging every time you look into a mirror. I kept telling myself that I will just age gracefully, but after talking with Dr Mani, I decided to try PRP stem cell therapy for my thinning hair. Other drugs like minoxidil have weird side effects so this seemed like a a much more holistic and proven therapy.The staff were very helpful and walked me through the process. I got there a half an hour early and they got me right in. I got quoted a little higher here than other places I had gone to but the perfectionism and customer service is what I love about this place. I got under eye fillers and I love the results so far. I have barely any visible bruising or swelling and practically zero pain. They care about you and want you to be comfortable I always recommend this place.

Facial products given as a gift from my good friend Erica. That followed protocol in summiting her two weeks notice for a better opportunity in a company that offered her higher pay and great .pay. Owner immediately fired her on the spot . Eliminating her hours for the next two weeks . This owner needs to read deeply into employment law and unlawful termination. Violation of federal and state law . At will law??? Keep treating american employees this way. She should file a lawsuit in civil court for your poor managing of employees that are dedicated to you in your profitable business . I know. Because Ive been in her situation and studied law. Won my case against employer and six lawyers that represented them . I won on my own. I suggest you pay her for the two weeks scheduled hours that out of anger you reacted unprofessional and remove it. There is percentage of interest added when proven your in the wrong . I will share this damaging thing you have done to everyone I know even the VIP I personally know here in San Diego . You run your place like a sweat shop. Employees are not allowed to look for a better job even out of respect to you. They submit a two weeks notice. I wish you business goes down .

I’ve been going here for about two years and during that time I have only had pleasant and positive experiences. Everyone from start to finish is calm, kind, and helpful. Sometimes I have a strong reaction to needles, especially on an empty stomach. This happened once during a procedure and someone literally gave me crackers from their lunch to help with my blood sugar. Truly wonderful people who know what they’re doing!

Prior reviews say it all about Dr. Mani and her staff--they are friendly, caring and knowledgeable-- let me give you some examples instead. I received a prescription from Dr. Mani to take before a procedure. Over the weekend I went to fill it and the pharmacist found a piece of information missing. I left a voicemail message at their office, not expecting a return phone call until Monday. I was wrong. Dr. Mani personally called me (from the background TV noise I could tell she was at home), apologized for the error and stated that she sent in a new prescription. Another example, I prepurchased some filler over the internet believing it was the best for me. When I went in for the treatment, Dr. Mani said I would not be happy with the result and changed the type of filler to suit me. Dr. Mani cares about her patients and personalizes every treatment. She and her staff are the best.

I really liked my consultation with Dr. Mani and the medical assistant, Katrina, and I have the utmost confidence that my lazer treatment on my face will turn out amazingly.I had my lazer treatment yesterday and went back to the clinic for a check up and everything is turning out as I wanted. My face is still healing but I can tell it will look really good in a couple of weeks. Norma, Dr. Manis medical assistant, was super helpful today in showing me how to clean my skin through the healing process. Disappointed.I felt an overwhelmingly air of distrust during the whole visit.1st they put me in a room and insisted I pay in advance.. then took my credit card away.No reputable clinic does that!Then insisted/pressured me to sign contracts & consent forms without reading. I had to insist to read the contract despite the angry look.Then asked me to take my mask off in an enclosed space for photos (this was unnecessary as my procedure was on my upper face) I refused obviously and this made the experience that much more uncomfortable.Conclusion: I did not feel the clinic valued me as a patient in the slightest.I chose a clinic with a premium price hoping to get a good service and to become regular but instead got a very ‘MEhh’ experience.I will not be returning.

I highly recommend them for a tattoo laser removal treatment! I have a HUGE tattoo that fully covers my neck and I never thought it would have gone so smoothly! First off, they are super clean and so friendly. They numbed me for about an hour, then Sierra and Norma came in to start the session! They were so attentive and made me feel so comfortable. The laser was so easy to take and to my surprise, was way less painful than getting my tattoo. You guys are the real MVPs! I can not thank you enough. Just had a Botox done by Dr. Siddiqui this morning. She is not as friendly as Dr Mani. She was in a rush to do the procedure. She stick the needle on the corner of myleft eye first then she told me to turn my head towards her on the left side to do the right corner of my eye. I didnt like that as she reached out to the right corner of my eye while she was on my left side. She also didnt use all the Botox in one syringe on the left side. She used some of it on the right side eye. Then she used the other syringe in the right corner of my eye. That means I have an uneven Botox on each side of my eye. The last time I had it done with Dr Mani I didnt see bubbles but with Dr. Siddiqui I have about 3-4 bulging bubbles on each corner of my eyes.Definitely not recommending her
