Dr. Shamtoub was so good! And his staff were amazing! I’ve always been afraid of dentists, but I was recommended to him by my dentist to get a root canal.He walked me through the whole process. While waiting for the numbing, had a very nice chat with the staff.It was painless, quick, latest technology used and everything went very well! Highly recommend!And his price was so reasonable!

Finally getting my review up! A few weeks ago I saw Dr Shamtoub - he was amazing in his treatment of my tooth. I had to get a root canal re-treatment done through a crown. I was EXTREMELY nervous. Dr Shamtoub and his assistant Chris were both very patient with me and kind, as well as professional. Dr Shamtoub has a lot of attention to detail in his work and you can tell this is a clinic where they really care about what they do. I notice my mouth and gums feel much better now and my tooth is no longer sensitive like before. Dr Shamtoub also referred me to get my crown looked at and now I have a great tooth - inside and out!

Dr. Gabreal is an incredible dentist. I love his style of work as he will throughly explain the entire procedure prior to starting, and will always check in to see if the patient is enduring any painful sensation. Very nice and professional. I had really been dreading this appointment. I had a root canal at another office and the procedure was so long and painful. This tooth was much worse and more involved, so I expected this experience to be twice as bad. Keeping your mouth open and stuff was obviously uncomfortable, but the procedure wasn’t nearly as long and really wasn’t painful at all. I probably didn’t even need the Xanax. I would definitely go here again!

Hello, I am writing here because I got my very first root canal and I am so glad I had my treatment done at this place. Let me just tell you there are not too many Dentists out there that take their time and passion in the procedure of root canals. I have been to a few Dental offices and heard stories that their dentist did not do a thorough job and that the patient had to go somewhere else to properly fix a root canal procedure that their previous dentist messed up on. So if you are looking for a root canal specialist you should difinitely go to this place, I assure youll be 100% satisfied. LA Endodontics has all the latest dental technology, they take x-rays, ct_scan, and they have dental_microscope! The dental microscope provides a significant visualization benefit at all stages of the endodontic treatment. How many dental offices use the endo microscope during root canal treatments not too many, not too many at all. For best results its always good to know if the dentist is going to be using a dental microscope for your root canal treatment, at LA Endodontics they always use a microsope. And not only are you hearing about what is a root canal but your getting knowledge about the anatomy of the tooth being saved. They have educational endodontic videos that is shown before the procedure starts. I give this place five stars! Dr. Shamtoub is so precise, so professional and so patient! What a great experience from the minute I called the office and Christopher was so nice and so on top of it. I immediately felt taken care of. This office accepted my insurance for the procedure.The actual root canals ( I needed 2 of them ) were not painful at all and I did not even need any of the prescriptions I got ( just in case ). No pain, no swelling, no trauma after.I would highly recommend this office, they are the best!

Dr. Shamtoub is a true professional. From the minute we started to the final moments, I knew Dr S was good at what he does. Dr. Shamtoub and Chris were amazing beyond words. I was extremely nervous and anxious about getting not just one, but two root canals. Both Dr. Shamtoub and Chris were extremely understanding, patient and kind. I had a moment where I felt incredibly anxious, and Dr. Shamtoub reassuringly told me it was okay and that we could stop for a minute. The procedure itself was flawless, painless and thorough. Dr. Shamtoub and his sidekick Chris were LIFESAVERS today. I called hoping to get an appointment the next day and I did! I went in with a deep throbbing pain, with a quick exam and a few x-rays we had a plan. He was able to do the root canal through my crown which I was thankful for. He and Chris were very warm and friendly and took their time to it correctly which I appreciated. AND best of all... pain is gone! I would totally recommend LA Endodontics. I have to say Dr. Shamtoub and his assistant Chris made my emergency root canal a very good experience. Although I cant say it was fun, I can say that the kindness and exceptional professional expertise provided was superb and greatly appreciated. I was put into the schedule as needed, and every detail was explained before the procedure began. I hope I never need a root canal again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to return. Dr. Shamtoub and his staff, are incredible. They got my son in today who was having excruciating pain and needed a root canal. They handled him with such kindness, professionalism and care. My son has been raving the whole way home after his visit about how much much better he feels, and thank God for them for taking such great care of him! My son is 13 and said he didn’t feel a thing but RELIEF!!! Thank you Dr. Shamtoub and your incredible assistant. Just visited Dr. Shamtoub’s clinic recently and was so impressed. The clinic is so neat, clean and so organized. The staff were so friendly, polite and so helpful.I just came for an inquiry but was taken in without an appointment - that’s an extra ordinary accommodation you can hardly find in any clinic.I didn’t have approval from my insurance for the services I needed but the staff exerted an extra mile - that was so resourceful of them.In a matter of half an hour, the job was done very quickly, without any pain or discomfort. He is a very talented dr who patiently and politely listened to my story about my 12yrs old son who needed a root canal.The tooth was filled with big amount of cavity and left a great hole! If you dont want to take risk on your health, Dr. Shamtoub is a solid choice. Might be slightly expensive, but the quality of the work definitely worths it. Both before and during the operation, he makes you feel confident and safe. You can be sure about getting a clean & professional service.I got one root canal on a molar tooth. After that, I only get 200mg ibuprofen one time and nothing else! Not all operations can go without any pain, but still, it tells you something. I am really amazed with the results.

I saw Dr. Shamtaub this afternoon for a root canal. The experience was as good as one could hope for. The office was very clean and was equipped with modern state of the art equipment. Im a photographer and I recognized ZEISS brand name abound. The doctor himself was very professional and is clearly skilled. He was both attentive and efficient with his work; all while dealing with narrow, long, and branching roots in the back of my mouth. When the work was completed the doctor lightened up and I found him to to be very friendly and down to earth.

Dr. Shamtoub has the highest integrity, and that is a true blessing! Add his expertise in the root canal arena, and booking with his office is a no brainer. My dental journey began in 2020, when Covid limited treatment options. A 40yr old filling had deteriorated over the decades and a cavity formed underneath leading to concerns of a root infection. The cavity compromised one cusp of my molar and part of the filling broke off. Fast forward to the frustration of finding both skilled and honest dental care. After 2 years of walking away from one up-seller office after another, I finally came across a stellar primary dentist and a wonderful holistic dentistry option but still needed the expertise of an Endodontist. I am so GRATEFUL to have found LA Endodontics. The office has convenient parking in the back, is clean, bright and relaxing, and the honesty, professionalism and CARE you receive from the staff and Dr. Shamtoub is golden. I highly recommend this office. Not only did I have a great experience during the visits, but the staff also promptly follows up with any applicable report of findings needed for your primary dentist or insurance. Just got my root canal done yesterday and I am finally pain free. As I walked into the office I was a bit nervous but the doctor made the procedure easy and there amazing staff took good care of me. I’ve been dealing with pain and struggling to be seen by a specialist for a while and called in hopes of setting up a future appointment. However, Atiyeh at the front desk graciously got me in for a same day appointment! She handled what needed to get done with my insurance and provided excellent, friendly costumer service. Dr. Shamtoub and his assistant Fernando made the experience as painless and stress free as possible. Not only did they expertly complete the procedure, but they constantly checked in with me to ensure that I was comfortable and relaxed- even cracking some jokes here and there to relieve my anxiety. You can tell everyone here loves what they do and that just added to the experience. The overall ambience of the office is welcoming and professional.. even the music was good! Haha I live about an hour away, but I will be coming back here for sure. I highly recommend them for any procedures you need to get done!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!This is probably the best root canal treatment clinic ever. Honestly this is my first time receiving a root canal treatment, but I’ve heard other horror stories from other patients. So I was super nervous when I got referred to receive this treatment! The staff is great! I really ended up loving Dr. Shamtoub and I’m so glad I chose this doctor instead of my other option! He moves quick but he’s also very gentle. He uses all the modern equipments and I didnt feel a thing during the whole process. (They show you a short clip during consultation to let you know what to expect so that helped a lot). He let me know to take ibuprofen for the pain but I took zero! I was sore for about two hours and I’m already feeling normal the next day. I just need to get the permanent restoration with my own dentist and I’m looking forward to it! I was trying to find an excellent Endodontist online either around Pico/ Robertson area or in Tarzana. Thank God I came across Dr. Gabriel Shemtoub on Google. His good reviews online pushed me to make an appointment for consultation on the root-canal that I needed to do. On my initial appointment he took some X-rays, asked some questions about my overall health, reviewed my case and kindly answered all of my questions. 2 days later, I considered having my root canal done with him. From the point he started my COMPLETELY PAINLESS root-canal procedure by giving me the numbing injections to removing my tooths root & to cleaning my canals and all the way to the temporary filling, every step of my root-canal procedure was done with care, with skills, with professionalism and with latest technologies that he utilizes in his office.I highly recommend Dr. Gabriel Shemtoub. Dr. Shamtoub completed my first and hopefully last root canal. He was thorough, detail oriented, and thoughtful as he went through the procedure. He was working on a molar in a particularly difficult to reach location, but I felt minimal pain, and he constantly checked in with me to see how I was doing. The people in his office and the technician/hygienist supporting him were all friendly and professional. I would recommend going to Dr. Shamtoub!

I needed immediate care and it began with my initial call to LAE I received red carpet treatment all the way. The dental assistant was super helpful at clearing everything with my insurance and followed thru for coordinating my appointment within a few hours. At my first exam with the Dr. I knew I was in good hands. I had my exam and was offered the opportunity to have the procedure completed later the same day. I was ecstatic that they would fit me in to their schedule to alleviate my tooth pain with an emergency root canal. Dr. Shamtoub is great at what he does. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to his patients. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort during the holidays. I couldnt find an endodontics office that was able to see me until after the holidays. Finally, I called Dr. Shamtoubs office and the doctor was able to see me the same day not only for consultation, but took care of my root canal as well. His office is very friendly and pleasant. I was referred by my dentist to Dr. Shamtoubs office. He went above & beyond to check my insurance coverage and then we scheduled an appointmentI needed a root canal on a tooth that had a crown. During the process he could not find the canal so he sent me to have a CT scan on my tooth. After reviewing the scan he said he would have to take the crown off to actually perform the root canal. At our next appointment, he was successful in finishing the procedure!!His assistant Edna is proficient, friendly & knowledgeable, as is Dr. Shamtoub. I highly recommended them.Lets be honest. I was told by my dentist that I needed to see an endodontist (specialist) for 2 root canal procedures, as my cavities were so large and right next to the nerve. I was very worried and nervous as I had a root canal procedure years ago and it was not a pleasant experience. I was referred to Dr. Shamtoub and I was told he is amazing. Without a doubt, I can truly attest to the fact that he is amazing and his staff is wonderful too. The office is immaculate, with nice music playing in the background, and the front desk gal was very cheerful, and nice, and she answered all my immediate questions. Dr. Shamtoub was amazing. He fully explained the procedure to me. He and his assistant made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and I could see they really cared. I did not feel any pain at all during the root canal procedure, and I felt safe and confident that I was in very good hands. My visit with LAENDODONTICS, specifically Dr. Gabreal Shamtoub was Five Star! The professionalism of the entire staff was exceptional!My first contact was with Atiyeh, who manages the front office. She requested all of my insurance information when I called and booked my appointment in April 2022. She confirmed the appointment a couple of days in advance, and when I arrived, she greeted me right away and was so friendly. I commented to Atiyeh how thrilled I was that I didn’t have to pay for parking. The office was spotless; it reminded me of a Mr. Clean commercial.😂 She invited me to have a seat. There was no need to fill out paperwork by processing my information and insurance over the phone. I was very impressed with how thorough and organized Atiyeh had been. Within 1 to 2 minutes, Atiyeh called Fernando (Dr. Shamtoub’s assistant) to the front and alerted him I was ready. I barely had time to sit down before they called me in.Fernando escorted me back and took x-rays right away. The back office was very high-tech and extremely clean! Fernando put the x-rays up on the light board, and the doctor walked in right away. I was impressed at this point that I hadn’t waited at all. Dr. Shamtoub explained what was going on with my tooth in a soft-spoken voice, making it easier to take. 😂He asked if I wanted to watch a short video that showed the procedure. I did watch it. Then he asked if I understood and explained step-by-step what he would do, which eased my mind. He began the procedure, and Fernando was right there assisting him. Fernando is a great assistant. He is very caring, attentive, and kept up with the suction. It was a pretty lengthy procedure, at least 1 and 1/2 hours, and Dr. Shamtoub worked through a microscope most of the time. He’s a perfectionist. He was very thorough, gentle, and explained what he was doing the entire time. I was highly impressed by his expertise.After the procedure was over, Fernando retook x-rays, and they showed me the before and after pictures. I was very impressed by the entire experience! I was referred to this dentist for a root canal. After exam I was told I would need to pay 200.00 over what my insurance pays. I held off on appointment due to extra co-pay. They than contacted me and I was advised I did not in fact have to pay for extra service and they could complete root canal without it. The day I was to go in was in car accident totaling car. Than before I could make appointment my filling fell out leaving only 1/3 of tooth. I called for appointment, no one returned call for 5 hours. Dentist called back after my 2nd call, only to tell me he might be able to fit me in, in 5 days and it was a holiday. So I am to sit in pain for 5 days in hopes he might fit me in REALLY??? I didn’t hear from them and I called them after two days and the responsible girl told me i didn’t receive this and that and lots of unacceptable reasons and at the end she said we don’t accept new customers and then she said if you want you can pay $699 and come here to fix the tooth !! I called my primary dentist and they said we sent them all the X-ray and needed infoEven they didn’t fallow up with me to let me know to find another doctor after bing in a pain for a month ..

I was having lot of pain in one of tooth and was not getting root canal appointments anywhere on the same day, thanks for LA Endodontics, they were able to accommodate me on the same day, thanks for Dr.Shamtoub, I hardly felt any pain during the procedure, its 2nd day of the root canal and I am not having any discomfort, only one suggestion I have is time management, I had an appointment for 4:30 but my procedure started from 5:30, considering they accommodated my on the same day, I was OK with it, Overall I would refer it anybody who wants get his/her root canal done !!
