My macbook was is such rough shape, not charging, not turning on, not functioning. the computer doctor fixed it up quickly, for a great price and a one year warranty. i basically have a new computer now. very grateful for them ! i’ll be taking all my tech here. Such a better experience than best buy’s geek squad or taking my computer to an apple store. Customer service was friendly and personable. Support this local business, you won’t regret it.

Brought in gfs laptop for repair. Was Macbook and while he was not able to source the chips to fix the board, he did give a free quote for diagnosis. Was attentive and timely in his returned calls. Seems like a standout guy.

So I googled computer repair close to me I happen to be in Eagle rock at the time LA Computer Doctor came up so I took a drive I found myself a great laptop that I just needed for work had all that I wanted excel word and so on completely reasonable price nice and simple two guys working easy quick and gave me six months warranty in writing parking right at the door I’ll give it a thumbs up Good experience

I’d absolutely recommend this place! They’ve always resolved my issues and hardware related inquiries. Such as SSD installation, audio problems, and gaming laptop cleaning.

I was in town for a friends birthday and my laptop battery got super swollen and was dangerous, and certainly not safe to fly home with. I brought it in and they removed the battery safely so I can get home safely with my laptop! I really appreciate the help and highly recommend LA computer doctor to anyone looking for a friendly knowledgeable place to work on their electronics

I spilled water on my computer a few weeks ago and it was not turning on. I took it to LA computer doctors – because it is near my residence and I needed my computer fixed ASAP for my studies – and they quickly got it turned back on. However, after charging me a hefty fee, they returned the computer to me without working speakers, a battery in need of service, and several other issues I will need to repair. In addition, my computer stopped turning on several days after I got it back from LA computer doctors, and I had to take it in to get it fixed again. They did have a guarantee on the computers which made that trip free. I do not recommend this shop for Mac owners, however the workers are polite and helpful.

I gotta say, they are the best of the best places to get your PC fixed. Every time I have had some issue they have fixed it. I even had to get a storage unit which I didnt know which model it was that I needed and they helped me out and showed me which one I had to purchase for my Laptop. If I could give them more stars I would! From start to finish this was a very seamless process. I dropped my iPhone 8 Plus on a Friday Wednesday night. Apple Care expired and I did not have insurance on the phone. So I go to Sprint and they say $150 and they need to ship the phone and Ill he phone less, nope not happening. I go to our friendly neighborhood Apple store...$179...hard pass!! I finally got on yelp and found Computer Doctor Highland Park. They were quick to respond and screens replacement on stock. What made this even better Hopefully Ill never need to use Computer doctor again but if I do,they will be my first call. I will be referring them to everyone!!

I went to drop off a laptop on Sat at 6pm and they were already closed. Business hours are til 7pm. I went 10 am Monday per the business hours and not open. I called and said they will be there in 30 min. Now noon and no one has opened the doors for business. They are not reliable.

They have exceptional service and do their best to fix your computers. Although they were a bit late to open the store because of traffic. They finished the repair earlier than told. I tried to install an SSD on my you fathers computer that had an hdd but I couldnt do it. These guys magically did it with ease within a day or two. I would go to these guys again for computer repair. And would highly recommend anyone with computer problems to go here.

Great! They were able to fix the screen on my last Lenevo laptop that I had and for a good price. However, I just went right now to bring in my newer lenevo laptop to get it repaired and online on their websiye it says thay they are were not open when on their website online it says they are. Instead they had a flyer on their window saying that they would be closed from December 22 - January 2nd. Would have been nice to have that updated online to save someone the trip of driving down there.

My computer runs Windows 10 and was stuck in the initial start-up/loading page when you turn on the computer. After multiple attempts in fixing it myself I realized the computer would have to be brought to a specialist, and/or just buy another computer which I couldnt afford to do.Long story short, I finally ended up bringing it there to Giovanni after reading pretty good reviews. It took one day longer than what was stated initially, but other than that, Im glad to have taken my computer there. Being low on funds, I wished he would have given me a lower price for the job, but honestly, it was less than half the cost if taking it to say The Geek Squad, or the like.Thank you LA Computer Doctor! Ill definitely be giving you guys a call for any future technical computer or phone issues.

Went in to get a quote to fix my computer I could give my insurance company. I dropped water onto it and it was just a white screen. The owner says because the computer turned on it can be fixed - a relief, all my pictures and work are on this computer. He said it just needed a new glass, and he had a high quality glass that can improve the resolution. Awesome! Done deal. Thank you for the quick work!

I spilled a full cup of hot soup on my laptop and was absolutely certain it was totaled. I dont know how, but these guys got it up and running within 2 days, at a very reasonable cost. Awesome experience, highly recommended!

I have only ever written one other review, and that was of a restaurant in Pasadena. So taking time to write this review says a lot about LA Computer Doctor.Geovanni and his team are knowledgable about both Mac and PC computers though my experiences with his store have been with Mac computers. Living in Highland Park, I dreaded going into Pasadena and waiting forever at the Apple store to have a computer genius look at my mac, so needless to say, I was thrilled to discover a computer repair store near me. Over the course of this year I have taken two different Mac Book Pros to the Computer Doctor: once for an upgrade, a second time to replace a broken screen, and a third time to replace the computer battery. In each case, I was treated kindly and respectfully. Their prices were very reasonable and they completed their work within a few days for each repair. I cannot recommend LA Computer Doctor enough.Last time I was there, I learned they will be offering classes in the near future for free!

I spilled water in my apple retina 2014 computer, apple store told me it was trash and no solution because it had water damage, solution buy another one, I called .L.a computer doctor, Higlaand Park (south Pasadena) and the guy told me no problem we can fix it . I didnt really believe after apple store told me ..so if was really bad why not to give an extra shoot with this guys...and walla they fix it..for a really reasonable price . And this computer is a super speed..thanks a lot

Me and my friend both came here with desktops on our own time. these guys will always assume the motherboard is the problem and charge you 100-200$ to replace and fix it. not only were they WRONG both times, but the fix for both of our problems was either free, or CHEAP.dont recommend, definitely scammers.

They took my phone in the morning and said it would be fixed by the end of the day. Didn’t hear from them and when I went at closing was informed it still wasn’t fixed and would cost 290 to fix. If they had contacted me sooner, I could have taken it somewhere else to have it done promptly but they wasted a work day where I urgently needed my phone to work. Bad way to run a business.

Needed to fix my Asus laptop and my iPad screen and I googled a couple places. I went to computer doctor because they have good reviews. And they did a great job on both my laptop and my iPad. Very fast service, upfront and competitive pricing, and knowledgeable staff. They fixed my screen and my charging port on my iPad. Also, they reprogrammed my Asus laptop and saved all my information. They installed programs and antivirus for a really good price. Highly recommend these guys. Whenever I have a computer problem, I call computer doctor Highland Park.

This is the worse place to go to. I took my computer in to fix one thing and I pick it up. And another thing is not working. And it was when I took it in. Plus they never answer the phone!!!! Do Not Go Here!!

Brought my desktop in to find out why it wouldn’t turn on, they diagnosed it (luckily an easy one) and didn’t even charge me for the diagnosis. Really friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back for future repair needs!

This place rules. Took my computer to some other shady place on Eagle Rock Blvd (Express Computer, avoid this place at all costs, they had my computer for six months and it ended up broken). Took my broken computer to this place, and they assessed what went wrong. Very nice and very prompt with service. Highly recommended.

Took my iPhone to have the screen fixed. (Broken screen) I have already checked the hardware, not the problem.Three screens later and still having issues with their screens. They suck. I don’t recommend going there. Don’t waste your time.

I stopped in here because its close to my house and I was having an issue with my old lap top. Within a few minutes they had the problem sorted out and sent me on my way free of charge because it wasnt much work for them. Ill definitely be coming back here from now on.
