This is an amazing place for kids to learn how to act in front of the camera. I cant say enough about the staff here, Morgan, Rosie, Dave, and the cool camera man! Everyone is invested in getting the kids to learn on camera acting and succeed! Weve only been here for 3 weeks but I feel like weve learned more than in some classes weve taken for longer. My girls have learned how to angle themselves in front of a camera, deliver lions with emotions, work through a script and breakdown characters, and so much more! Each day takes it up to a new level and this 4-week class is amazing! I would highly recommend any kid in the acting business to take this class. Period. Morgan is so invested in having her students succeed that she gives so much of herself! Thank you thank you thank you!❤🥰❤🥰❤

Very grateful to have found LAAS, Director Roundtree, Jeremy, and their staff and crew work tirelessly to help actors learn the techniques to be successful in Hollywood. The sets at the studio are some of the best I have seen having researched multiple studios. The sets are fantastic to add realism to your scenes. IMHO being able to see yourself on camera really help understand the feedback, allowing you to improve. I am still new to this studio and already booked a job using their self-tape service. Thank you for supporting actors and their dreams.

LA Acting Studios is the number acting one studio in Los Angeles. David, Jeremy, Andrew, and Morgan all truly care about the development of the actor. These four incredible people are actors themselves which makes it so much easier to communicate and learn from professionals who understand the artist. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone who takes their craft seriously and wants to develop their acting and directing skills to a stellar level.

Great School- I am very happy with this studio since joining. No matter what level, or how talented you are as an actor I believe you can be unpretentious and learn something.LA Acting Studios is just the place you need to be humble, work hard, and get better. The teacher, David Rountree is outstanding, and his approach to teaching an actor has added tons of value to my career. His approach is exactly what tools I think actors need to improve. The management(Jeremy) is helpful and accommodating when organizing what you need for your development. Its affordable and the space is save environment for growth.This studio is an excellent space to explore, create and become better at your craft. LA Acting Studios is a great place to learn the craft! David gives you so much knowledge and insight into the industry and the art of acting every single class. You can also tell that David cares about every actor he works with. He really wants to see you succeed in class and in your career. This is a great class whether youre a beginner or an advanced actor. David really cares about helping you hone your craft to become a better actor and book jobs. He provides you with your on camera footage after every session. I find this to be very helpful when making choices while performing and having a better insight on the feedback that he provides. Its a very positive environment and you get your moneys worth. Very much recommended regardless of what level of your cater you are on.

David Rountree is a fantastic teacher. He gives direction to help you make good choices as an actor and the confidence to trust your own instincts. I feel my confidence and skill has grown tremendously in the 6+ months I have been taking class. Plus each week, I get great footage of my progress and a fully filmed scene on the fourth class of each month. I feel this class has prepared me for what I will encounter on a professional set. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking for quality on camera training.

I love taking acting classes with David! He has such a genuine passion for teaching actors that radiates from him every time I walk into class. The studio is so understanding when things come up and you miss class theyll work with you and encourage you to keep going. The work you do on the class is very hands-on and David is determined to make the most out of each class and spend time with each actor. I love learning from him and the fact that I always have a blast with the wonderful people in class is a bonus too.

Our 12 year old daughter recently finished the 4 week On Set, On Camera Workshop at LA Acting Studios. From the moment we walked into the studio and met Morgan, David, Rosie, Jeremy and the rest of the team, we felt like family. They genuinely care about every actor who comes into their studio! Over the course of the 4 weeks, our daughter learned so much! Although she has been doing on-camera training for 3 years, she learned an entirely new set of skills in this workshop. They really focus on the technical details that will set you apart as an actor. They understand what casting directors and producers are looking for and teach you skills that will help you as a professional actor on set. Since they tape each class, you can see your progression from beginning to end and it is truly remarkable! Also, you get the video files from each session and a professionally edited demo reel after completing the class! They have a state-of-the-art studio with full sets as well as professional camera and sound crews and a theater for viewing your work. We absolutely love LA Acting Studios and especially value the amazing friendships that have been formed. We highly recommend them! Our daughter loved every minute and cant wait to continue to train with LA Acting Studios!

Ive been attending LA Acting Studios for a few months and have found it to be a useful work space where I can stretch myself as an actor. I like to be as creative as possible when it comes to defining my characters and David Rountree, a working director who teaches the classes, has provided a safe environment for the actor to do that. At each session scenes are filmed and as a director, David knows how to guide the actor in achieving the best performance for their scene. Not only does he teach the classes but he also organizes showcases for his students and gets them in front of legitimate industry agents and managers who do sign Davids students when warranted.As a working actor I know I need to be continuously practicing the craft and keep networking with industry professionals and Davids experience and knowledge of the business has provided me with the skills and opportunities to do that.John Fantasia

David and his team members (Jeremy!) are great! They really care about you, THE ACTOR! They want to see you succeed.David is a man with experience as both an actor and director, so he can really guide you on the ins and outs of the industry.He takes the time to make sure every student gets the time they need and will always be there to answer your questions and give you the guidance you need.I have taken the on camera class once and am currently on my second time around. It starts as a mini audition class and then turns into scene study that is all filmed on camera. If you have never been on camera (or even if you have!), David tells you lots of things that are extremely beneficial to make yourself look the best on film! I have so many aha! moments in this class, even on my second go around!The things that you work on in class are filmed and uploaded for you to see and study, so you really get to see your work put to the test!I cant speak highly enough of this class and recommend it to everyone. I have been taking this class for 5 months now. David has helped me so much with my acting. I started with very little experience and was so nervous but now I feel confident in my acting skills. I have taken this class so this long because every time I can see and feel myself getting better. David knows how to talk to actors and work in areas where they need improvement. This is a safe place to be yourself and not feel judged. A good encouraging place to improve your craft.

My daughter, Kaitlyn Haugen is 12 and just spent her first pilot season in LA doing auditions. I am so glad we found LA Acting Studios to help her continue to develop and learn acting techniques. It’s set up is like shooting at a tv studio and everyone involved from the office and admin staff to the instructors, the camera crew and getting to work with the Director, David Rountree is amazing!! It’s easy to get to, free parking on street, on camera acting each week, a progressive program. It was fantastic, we’ll be back and I would highly recommend this Studio to anyone wanting to improve their acting skills.

My teenage daughter learned so much at her first on camera acting class with LA Acting studios. Andrew was so kind and had a very specific and clear way of giving direction. As someone transitioning from theater to film acting, the technical instruction was extremely valuable to her. It was so great for her to work on her scene being filmed weekly on a real set. And now she will have a professionally edited clip to put on her online acting profiles. Everyone was very professional. This class and the relationships she created during it were a really great experience and I would highly recommend it to any actors.

I was recommended to this class from a casting director (Pamela Stanton) and Im glad I took it. The class is an encouraging and positive environment. David gives many tips on the industry and acting. He has guest speakers from the industry come talk to the class. Ive learned a lot in a short amount of time. Its a good on camera class and I would recommend this class to anyone that is looking to receive quality acting training.

Im a firm believer that we as actors should always be actively training. As every good athlete does. Ongoing scene study classes, workshops, showcases, coaching sessions for auditions...whatever...just keep at it.The best thing about David Rountrees class is that you are not only training with an outstanding director but you are also getting something extra in return...your footage!Every week he sends you what you worked on the week before so you can see what you are actually doing and see how the scene evolves week to week as he works with you. I was even able to use some of the footage for my demo reel.You cant beet that. Oh wait...yes you can...he also brings in special guest speakers ranging from writers, producers, actors, ect...I was lucky enough to have been given a scene from a writer that was sitting in watching the class.To top it all off David passed along my info to another director who ended up bringing me in to audition for a film.His partner Jeremy is a doll to deal with. Very kind, informative, patient and generous.Dont think twice...take this class...I know youll love it!

When it comes to quality acting coaches, David Rountree is sure an AWESOME one!Made for all levels, this on-camera class is designed to help everyone from the novice to the more advanced actor.A typical class session works on helping the actor explore new techniques of auditioning, mastering the wide, and close up shots. You actually get footage after every class which will become handy learning material.in addition, there is a focus on various types of acting techniques. There is so much to learn!As a director, producer, and actor himself, David has had years of experience in the industry. He is also very current and in the know of upcoming shows and feature films being made.The studio itself is nice in a good location in NoHo.Would def recommend!

I had the best experience working with LA Acting Studios today. We needed to rent a last-minute space and Jeremy made the entire process incredibly easy. The facilities were fantastic with lighting-fast wifi and other amenities. Working with their team to secure the space was a quick, easy process and they are incredibly communicative. This place really helped take my acting career to the next level. Using footage from LA Acting Studios, I was able to book roles, get more footage, build my reel and get representation. And they helped me know what headshots work.I just completed the Audition Class and Next Level Actor class with Geoffrey Blake. It was great! Geoffrey’s a working actor with a sh**load of credits. And he’s a great teacher who cares about his students. Its rare to find both. I got a better understanding of my casting, got more tools to surface emotions even when I don’t feel like it, and ways to tackle the hard work of being an actor and creating layers. And the best part is he can help you understand when to bring all that to your role or the audition room and when to hold it in. And that’s because he’s worked so many shows he can help you understand the show, your role, and what they’re looking for.I took the on-camera classes with David Rountree and Andrew Hall. They really get you on your game for the real world. And they help you get comfortable working with different actors, understanding how a set works, knowing what a director is up against, what to do if you have little time to prepare a scene, and what writers and show runners are looking for. They give you roles that fit your casting and because everything is shot multicam, you get footage for your reel. David Rountree’s a working director and actor and he can tell you why sometimes even good actors don’t get cast and what you can do to get the role.I also took commercial and improv classes with David Banks and David Rountree. Everything’s on camera and you get the footage. They prepare you for the audition room, tell you about casting directors and what they look for. David Banks is a working actor with a ton of work he’s. I see him at callback auditions. And what he teaches you is from recent, real booking.

Ive audited two classes and am definitely signing up. David is really personable, so that helped put me at ease. His exercises were non-nonsense, and his feedback was immensely valuable.My second time there was for the auditions workshop, and it was beyond helpful. The whole thing was treated as an actual audition. We had time to read the breakdown and the sides, we stayed in a waiting room until called, and performed once in front of the camera.Then he explained what he was looking for in our performances, pointing out the information contained in the breakdowns and the way the script was written. All of that information was there to guide us into the delivery the casting director (in this case, David) wanted.As soon as I can afford to this spring, Im signing up.

I had an opportunity to audit this class. I really enjoyed David Rountrees teaching technique and script breakdown method. He was so helpful with breaking down each line and explaining how connecting to the behavior of the character is most important. He also showed how taking in every detail and applying it to the scene really allows the audience to connect with the emotion. I would recommend this class and look forward to seeing how I apply the techniques and how it strengthens my art of acting.

I signed up for Davids class for a month as a tuneup since I feel one can develop bad habitats without the occasional guidance from a professional. I didnt expect to get such value considering I wasnt charged a arm and a leg compared to other acting schools.From day one you are working, we all received the same sides and David really broke down the scene. Finding the hidden crumbs from character descriptions and how to make the strongest choice.You work in front of a camera so you are taught how to move for film. You work with tv and film scripts to best prepare you for that world. If you just landed in La La Land the this class is perfect for you since you can use the footage for your reel.Id still be going if I hadnt committed to a Improv Intensive for the summer. Maybe its not too late to get a sugar momma so I can continue going. KIDDING!!! Give the school a spin, no ragrets!

LA Acting Studios is a fantastic environment to work in. An actor feels free to create and play in this atmosphere. David Rountree is brilliant at what he does. Not only is he an expert with the craft of acting, he will also take you on an acting journey of what an on-set experience is really like. I have been attending LA Acting Studio’s online class and I have learned so much . David is one of the best teachers I have worked with . I always wanted to train there because some of my friends have and they told me how great it was, so I was trying to get to LA but having a busy life in Cincinnati Ohio has made it hard . As soon as I seen there were online classes I jumped at the chance to become apart of it . The prices are great as well . I have learned more from them then I would have ever learned here in my town . Thanks so much. Look forward to continue with them for the foreseeable future .... You guys are awesome...

I just wanted to say something about LA Acting Studios. I was referred to there program from my manager. Now I never got a chance to actually take a class there yet. But I subscribed to there email mailing list. Last week I received a notification from them about a feature film with big name artist needing actors. So I submitted and was contacted by LA Acting studios to let me know, All the speaking roles were taken but they needed feature extras . Plus they would guarantee I got a named credit. Also the director was famous for kicking extras dialogue. So I said why not. Well everything LA acting studio said was true. Not only did the director make it a point to get me in as much scenes as possible. But he also added a new scene specifically so I as well as another actress could have dialogue. Which ended up letting us have a lot of control to Improv the scene with a decent amount of dialogue. So all I can say is THANK YOU LA ACTING STUDIO!!!
