They wanted to sign me up for a repair contract before they even look at the computer. KT Electronics looked at computer and fixed it in same day. The price to fix the problem was very reasonable. They fixed a problem with my computer and one with my iPhone. In both cases the device was fixed in a short amount of time and cost less than I expected. They give a guarantee for their work, but my devices have not had a problem since they fixed them. For me they are a little out of the way, but it was worth the inconvenience to use their services.

Hello, my son had spilled a smoothie on his Mac book and it would not power up. I googled and KT had good reviews . I took it in and K gave me a quote and it was ready the next day and he said it has a 90 day Guarantee. We got home and the mic did not work took it in again and no questions asked they fixed it. Did not fix my LED light problem with a resistor replacement, took my money, and left me at square one and 60$ out of pocket. They do not listen to clients even if i told them what was the problem and what had to be fixed including providing a printout of a photo and directions on what needs to be replaced. Wasted my time. I suggest if you dont have something basic like a screen repair or replacement of parts as is for is. They cant fix anything else for you. I do not recommend this place. Waste of time and money

I’m not sure how my past review got removed but I would like to stress that this place is not where you want to take your iPhone . They use aftermarket parts and do poor quality work. I had them replace my screen and after they did it the touchscreen effect did not work and I could not open any apps and I also could not charge my phone . Before that everything worked fine besides the cracked screen . When I brought the phone back to have them fix it they were able to get it to work but then the Apple Pay didn’t work when I tried to touch my phone to pay . When I brought it back they told me I had to go through the manufacturer after I already paid them to fix the phone . Over all they were a nightmare to work with and I would never recommend them to anyone .

MacBook Air 2017, blown capacitor on logic board, wouldn’t charge/start.I live in Arkansas. I’ve had the dead computer for almost a year; no one in my area would even look at it. I took a chance and mailed it halfway across the country to complete strangers — KT Electronics.Mailed it on a Tuesday (USPS Flat rate boxes = MVP), they received it on Thursday, fixed it that same day. They also tested my battery, found it was foul and replaced it. KT sent it out next day on Friday. Received it on two business days later and it works like a charm. Text & email communications throughout the process with tracking numbers on shipment. Ended up being a logic board repair and battery replacement for an extremely fair price.TL;DR — Amazing customer service, fair pricing, and my computer now works perfectly. Next time, too, I’ll mail in my computer to KT from halfway across the country instead of trying anywhere near me!Overall great experience. Thank you KT! (And Google for helping me find KT)

I am really glad that I found this shop. They are honest and give a range of solutions to each repair problem. There isnt an outrageous diagnostic fee and their rush fee is worth it if you are in a rush. My dad needed his computer fixed overnight and they much delivered it the same day. I took two other laptops in and they were both repaired within two days. So they are speedy! I also appreciate that they communicate in real time and give frequent updates. Their prices are they best in the Bay by far. If you need any electronics repairs, go here first!

They charged me $30 for a total misdiagnosis, they said my speakers battery and charger was bad, but it wasnt. I had bought a new battery and put it in the day before and it worked fine, it was the charger that was damaged and they wanted to charge me $120 for another battery and charger. A battery is approx 40dollars and the charger approx 20. they are freeloaders who wanted to take advantage of the situation and charge me double for something that was a lie, the battery is new and they said it was wrong. I don’t recommend them at all. They’re gonna charge you more than they should.

I visited KT electronic in order to replace new sensors for my streaming set top boxes. KT is very honest guy. He informed me every detail of the job and how they will take care of my devices. He has a very reliable soldering technician. He told me that technician has 11 years experience in soldering job. He fixed 2 devices less than half an hour and I was shocked since I was expecting to leave my devices there. It saved me from another trip to there. Price is also very reasonable comparing to this kind of high end electronic fixing. They are also fixing all sort of PC/Mac devices. If you have something electronic and need some soldering fixing job call them. I highly recommend to everyone. I already saved their phone and address to my list in case if I need them again.

DONT TRUST YOUR ELECTRONICS HERE .... :(Heres why:-I brought my -iPad Pro 12.9in. 5th Gen-in to get a diagnosis and was not asked for ANY form of ID nor was I given any agreement/paperwork/permissions to sign.I thought it was weird but figured they knew what they were doing... I shouldve trusted my instincts smh!-I received a text a few days later saying my iPad was unrepairable. I went to pick it up a today and when I got to their location it was completely gone and demolished with a sign saying they had moved locations. No one called me to let me know they had moved which I wouldve really appreciated knowing ahead of time, because I work full time and took my 30 minute lunch break in order to go pick it up.-I drove to the new location and was told my iPad was in his van so I physically watched him walk to his van to go get it.-When he gave it back to me I noticed a chunk of the screen was missing out of the corner of my iPad and plastic tape was covering it. When I asked what happened, he said that happened during the diagnosis because there was a small crack in that area. I was aware of the crack but had brought it to other repair shops without issues.-I tried to explain how disappointed I was to receive my iPad back in WORSE condition than I had received it, and how come they didnt have me sign a waiver or form stating that damage might occur.-He had no honest response and was very snappy with me, just kept repeating thats just what happened and I could tell her was getting annoyed with me questioning him about it.In conclusion:I do not feel my iPad was properly cared for nor stored in a safe location. Even if they are transferring facilities there is absolutely no reason why my device should be stored in a van parked in the street. What if my device had been stolen? I was extremely disappointed to receive my device back with more damage than I had left it with. My feelings were not respected nor cared about. I wouldnt not recommend this business and would advise you to select another repair shop that follows better guidelines to ensure the safety + care for your device.

I received a glowing referral to KT by another shop when I needed advanced repairs to my 2017 MacBook Pro that the first shop couldnt do. With my entire office (laptop) debilitated and backed up with work, I took the referral despite the hour long drive to San Jose. It turned out that I needed a circuit board level repair to the power system. I walked out of KT two hours after I dropped off with a repaired laptop for a very reasonable price - way less money and way faster than going to Apple. I brought a damaged MacBook Pro from 2010 for repair and because there were so many things wrong with it the repairs were going to be too costly. KT Electronics offered to trade my computer for a similar one at a reduced price compared to cost of repair. They even installed the specific OS system I needed in order for me to run an old iMovie program that would accommodate importing High-8 videotapes from my camera. They repaired in a timely manner and when I brought home it was back to where I left it… all my saved internet bookmarks, my work documents, all saved. I was building a PC for the first time last week, and i encountered a problem and went to a repair shop (not this one) and they wanted to charge me 100 dollars just to look at my PC not even counting testing the parts or anything.then i decided to come here, they offered 50 dollars to look at my PC and test each part individually which is a great deal, and took it up. when i stepped into the shop i felt a breeze of joy as the office was packed with emotion and the people seemed to enjoy their job but the last shop i went to was dull and lifeless and the emotion on the guys face was as if he was uncomfortable,which made this place better right off the bat. they figured out that my motherboard wasnt compatable with my ram so they found a cheap BUT good ROG board for me they installed it with flawless cable management and even gave me a free wi-fi adapter for the PC all in all it came down to 240 dollars as the final cost but it was a great deal considering that they:tested each part individually and figured out the problem and made the best choice for it,found the best bang for your buck ROG motherboard within my budget,took everything out of the PC and put in the motherboard essentially building a PC for me twice,installed windows 10 PRO,set up the wi-fi adapter,and did cable management so good Charles Babbage sheds a single manly tear from his grave.all in all it was a great experience and without them i would be stuck paying somebody else twice this amount, and now my PC is running great, i will definitely stick with them in the future and turn to them for any tech problems. thank you very much for your help and i hope you have a great day :D

My USB card with important works was corrupted. Brought it in to them and they helped recoveed it. Although not all works were recovered successfully due to bad sectors on usb card, but still saved me ton of hours from having to do everything from scratch.Good job guys!

These folks are just stellar. I had a severely damaged Macbook Pro that had water damage that sat for a very long time (we had some large expenses at the time of the water damage and let the laptop sit which made the damage worse). KT Electronics staff were highly persistent on a logic board level repair of the hardware. After initially giving me a diagnosis that the damage was too severe to repair (Im sure there was severe rust due to waiting a long time to fix it) and letting me know I would need to buy new hardware, they continued (without my knowledge at the time and at no additional expense) to have their staff attempt to fix the laptop and were eventually able to do so. It was an awesome surprise when they came back and let me know they had actually been able to perform the logic level repair while I was deciding whether or not to buy the new hardware, which saved me a really significant amount of money. Got my laptop back and its good as new.

I Brought two devices to get fixed one was my son’s Nintendo Switch which has seen better days, KT repaired in no time! And works great. And in quarantine times it’s a much needed device. Words cannot describe how truly amazing KT Electronics is; they are a godsend!!! Ive brought my iPhone and my laptop here for various repairs and they have proved to be the best at what they do, time and time again. Its hard to find a business these days that truly cares about their customers and goes above and beyond to do what they can for you. This one time my iPhone went all wonky one me with all these blurred lines on the screen and I totally freaked out and thought I was going to have to buy a new phone. I brought it to KT Electronics and after careful inspection, they said it was simply a software glitch and that my phone was back to normal and fine. They didnt charge me a dime for the inspection and didnt try to upsell me on getting a new phone. Honest businesses are hard to find these days. On top of being honest, they really know what theyre doing over there. They perform quality work, are efficient at it, and have great customer service. I used the online repair service to repair my 2016 MacBook Pro that was water damaged. Apple wanted to charge me at least $1000 for repairs and the local mac repair shop refused to do anything. I took a few units in for repair and initially felt satisfied. Then problems occurred. My Lenovo i7 laptop had a fan noise. A short while after that repair the noise returned. Also, Im not sure that added work and charges are legit. Lastly, software that I paid to have installed has now got a warning popping up from Microsoft that it is not genuine. My loss, but not again.

Quan is very professional. They call you first, what causing the problem before they do the job. And making sure you agree on how much will it cost. One thing, however, is… where I pay the diagnostic up front (which is standard anywhere) when I came back to pickup my desktop, I noticed, they did not ask for diagnostic fee to the person in front of me.I think it’s something they need to improve. Other than that, I’m very happy with my reconditioned desktop.

Brought my PS4 in for a repair (faulty power supply, made worse by long-distance travel) on Friday early afternoon after finding KT electronics online (and having word of mouth recommendations).Got an e-mail the next day saying that it had been fixed and have had no problems with it in the week or so since Ive picked it up. This went to my junk mail so watch out for that! The cost of the repair was quite high in my opinion (its a flat fee for all PS4 repairs) but given I have also got a 90-day warranty, Im happy with the value Ive received.All in all, Im pleased with the services KT Electronics provided and happy Ive got my PS4 back and working!

This place is amazing!! I brought my IPhone XS Max in because it had a unresponsive screen that was cracked and the back was cracked. (Wasn’t terrible) I took it to Apple and they wouldn’t cover it. Told me there was nothing they could do. I took it to these guys and they fixed it in a day even with all the craziness going on they fixed it and everything works perfectly! Took my iPhone 6s in. I Had left it outside for 10 min and when I brought it back inside. The sound was gone. Control Center showed the ear buds where in use! when they weren’t any connected!I went to KT. You may have to wait for a parking space cause it is shared with 2 beauty Supply businesses however KT HAS dedicated parking on the left. Matt was friendly and i was Pleased to see all the Apple products. I was told a Diagnostic fee of $30 was required. Ultimately the repair would cost $69 total with the $30 diagnostic fee being applied to it. I came back 2 hours later and my phone sound had been restored. Apparently they replaced the bottom (speaker, ear bud jack- i think.) I believe i got a deal!

I brought my laptop here for a problem with the display screen and within minutes, the problem was diagnosed and set up for repair. The initial turn around time was around a week since thats how long it was going to take to order the part, but much to my surprise, I received a call 2 days later saying my laptop was ready for pickup. Without solicitation, I was also given tips on how to prolong the the usage of my laptop so that I wouldnt have to purchase a new one (my laptop model is known to have lots of bugs/issues). The worst place Ive ever met. They are very disorganized people. I left my laptop there and after three weeks they texted me and said your laptop is fine now, 10 minutes later they called me and said wait, we need to fix something else and you have to pay more, give us one more week. Ok fine. After that they texted me and said youre laptop is ready,so I went to pick it up, and guess what they tried to give me other laptop and they were very surprised when I said this is not my laptop then they showed me 3 or 4 different trying to guess what the parts of my laptop were. I left very uncomfortable, but its ok, they needed another week. Finally they texted me saying we can not fix you laptop, but we order a motherboard and we need 45 days... can you imagine that? I am really disappointed what they are doing.

Always had to repair my HDMI port for my ps4 a couple times now because itll get loose from over heating. I took it here at KTs and asked if they can just repair it. Never been here before I knew it couldnt be as bad as the last few places I went before. A couple days later ( was working ) I picked it up on my day off to finally get my hands on it. Spectacular!!! My macbook pro was toast. Apple told me there was nothing more that could be done and a replacement would be about $2400. I stumbled onto an eBay add for repair of water damaged products and took a chance sending it off to them to look at. In just a couple days I received my Macbook pro 100% repaired and in better condition than I had sent it in. In addition to the repair they thouroughly cleaned the unit back to original condition. Had a partially fried logic board due to the well known, fatal combination of lead-free solder (thanks to ROHS and other enviro-mumbo-jumbo!) and a hot running graphics chip. KT Electronics folks called and told me the logic board was beyond repair, and offered a replacement board. A much more expensive alternative than the flat rate repair unfortunately, but I partially expected such an outcome. Service was super fast, and the computer arrived a few days later and is working great. Plus, they kept me up to date by phone and email. Thanks guys!

I definately recommend using KT Electronics to fix Macbook issues. I spilled wine across the top of my wifes Macbook and killed it. It wouldnt charge or power on. After taking it apart and finding that the logic board had a corroded integrated circuit on it I realized that this was beyond my expertise to fix myself. I shipped the entire laptop off to them and they had it back to me within a couple weeks as good as new and at a very reasonable price. Thanks!

I sent in my macbook pro with water damage for the flat rate repair advertised below. However, they are charging $240 for the logic board and another $240 for repair effort. The ad clearly states that this repair covers the logic board, but they are insisting that the replacement is separate and will cost another $240. Why didnt they do that in the first place? Have shopped here several times and each time was given dirty looks for asking if the merchandise I was purchasing worked (I was purchasing Playstation 4 Gaming Consoles and twice bought the item without the cords or a controller) and through gritting teeth KT responded All our merchandise is tested and fully functional as deemed by our trustworthy support staff which is fine but I expect to at least see the product function regardless if the proper components are included or not (Which ia odd considering he charged me $160 and then $180 the second time I purchased from him, he could at least throw in a power cord!). I will not be shopping here again.
