Not a store for a 61 year old man. Although, I did buy a few tee shirts from them a few months ago for summer. The Palm Desert store was super clean, the staff very helpful, but they cater to a younger crowd. Their prices seemed comparable to online shopping.

Nice girl, very friendly. But, NO EXCHANGES AFTER 60 DAYS! Even with the receipt. I wanted the same brand, same item, I purchased the vanilla tone foundation and later realized I needed more a yellow tone. Manager refused to make an exception at 61 days :( NO EXCEPTIONs. Me so sad. Still, bought a couple of eyeliners! (Got the right color this time!)

This Kohls has plenty of parking (not much shaded, tho), a nice sized Sephora, and very helpful staff. I usually have to wait in line for checkout, but my last visit the checkout person, Nancy, was so helpful and friendly it made the wait worthwhile.

I like using the self-pick-up. I shop online, miss the busyness of waiting in line at the store, and zip in and out of the store when picking up my items. For the most part, the store is typically well-staffed and is usually tidy.

On Sat Nov 4/2023 I went to Kohls Palm Desert store only to exchange a few items that I did order online and didnt fit, the first step was the return, it was done in just minutes by a nice, professional and friendly manner Associate, it was a great experience then I went to pick the 3 items that I need to replace the ones that I returned, really? the neat displays and the welcomed feeling because of every single Associate that I encounter make me loose control and my 3 items turn into a full shopping cart, the nice items, and the great price deals made my day, I just couldnt pass to buy all that I did.I highly recommend the PALM DESERT KOHLS STORE, nice quality and variety of products, very well displayed and THE EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE that you dont find everywhere, in my personal opinion this is the best of all.For your Holidays shopping allow me to suggest KOHLS at PALM DESERT, CA.

I have been a user of Sephora products for a while now and was very happy to see them come into Kohls Palm Desert store. I was there on a recent busy Friday morning and the associate, Olivia, was so nice and helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the Sephora products and so nice and pleasant to me. I was the only person in line. There were 3 cashiers, one helping another customer, one doing something at his register and one leaning on the counter reading something on her phone. When there was no greeting, I asked is anyone open? They both said yes. Unfortunately, I went to the phone salesperson. She got half way thru ringing up my purchases and went back to read something on her phone. And she was not friendly. Maybe she didnt like being interrupted. I dont remember her name but she was from Canada. The cashiers are usually very helpful and friendly. She was the exception!

Im a fan of being able to do Amazon returns at Kohls which is very convenient. Store overall is okay sometimes a bit disorganized but it looks like their cleaning it up last few times Ive gone. Their typically is a wait back in customer service which is a pain when your in a hurry and only 1 person is working.

I had to go in-store today to return a pair of pants I bought online. The return was fast and easy and the gentleman helping me was polite. I then went to find another pair of pants the store was a disaster, clothes everywhere but were they should be. Super Service from a guy in their returns department. Its a long story but he was able to handle the return of the product by using my cell phone and me giving him the number for it. He saved me having to come home get the number off of my computer and turn around and go back. I was overwhelmed by the service. I thanked him for a super service and also told his boss.

Im only giving them 4-Stars because all I really needed to do was take some Amazon Returns there so I didnt actually do any shopping. Still, they made returning Amazon items much more simple and quick than mailing back the two defective products I needed to return.Everyone was quite nice and helpful. Each employee and every other shopper I saw all had masks on, which is always good to see.If I ever end up buying from them Ill go ahead and update my review and number of stars. But since I didnt really use the store for its intended purposes, I cant in good conscience give them 5-stars without browsing, trying on, and waiting in line to pay for any purchases.

The store is very clean. I would like customers to know that the building is very warm and in the back of the store its very hot. This is the reason I gave them 4 stars. The rest rooms are very clean. Theres a few areas that have been moved and it makes it difficult to find accessories. We were unable to find the earrings.

We love Kohls . But this past weekend 2/18/23 my self and my partner who is deaf were greeted by some young man with black hair and with a pony tail. Screamed at us WEIRD . Just because my partner was signing with me and my partner dose make sounds when he signs to me it is normal!!!! That store needs to please get rid of that person. Shame on him ! Great selection of clothes and home goods. I love there clearance clothes racks, especially for bras! Ill never pay full price again. They have a good makeup, jewelry and shoe selection. A bit too pricey unless you catch a good sale. During the Christmas season they had the best selection of gifts for the hard to shop for person in your life or stocking stuffers as they called some of the items. They had pocket knives with lights, puzzle games, charging stations, slippers,mugs,key chains all sorts of things you dont look for intentionally but when you find them you know you have to grab a few for those unexpected guests or just to have on hand because youll never find them again. Great return policy and they take Amazon returns as well which is so unbelievably helpful! The employees have always been great too!

I dont shop here much, but I happened to find the gift I was looking for at a great price on their website, so I bought it. Then on cyber Monday I saw that there were further discounts, so I called to see if they would retroactively honor the new price. I was told to return the item and order a new one. So I went to the Palm Desert store and was helped by Muhammad. He was quick, friendly, and helpful. I thought that the cyber price would be cheaper, but he let me know that the item I returned would be marked lower than the online price! So I bought it back at a significant discount.I had to write a review, because even though customer service reps should be expected to be helpful, often they are not. Maybe because theyre trying to move the line along. Maybe because they forgot the golden rule... Whatever.Muhammad helped beyond the standard that Im used to at department stores. He treats customers like theyre friends.

I love Kohls because I like looking for shirts. One girl makes adorable clothes looks like big and cute. And then the Asia lady that designs dresses. I like it it’s simple but almost floraly and subtle. I feel like I belong to a nice store and the staff is there around the store. Im disappointed in the direction Kohls has chosen to go. This used to be our one stop for all things. Kids clothes, business attire and my husband casual attire. They are moving more to an active and casual lifestyle. Doesnt make much sense to then put Sephora in there now, when you are limiting womens and juniors business attire.

My bank was unable to correct it, so I took in all my documentation in the hopes a person to person solution could be found. I have just encountered the worst customer service from the Khols customer service call center. They double charged 2 banks accounts paying the entire balance on my account twice. Then when I requested a refund from the account they fraudulently took the 2nd payment from, I was told it would take up to 4 weeks to receive a refund. After speaking with the supervisor, Carlos, he told me there was no supervisor above him to approve an expedited refund, due to Khols mistake, and repeatedly told me that he could not help me any further.

Ive been shopping at this location for years, I have yet to have a staff member greet me, or offer any assistance without me hunting them down. This Kohls is pretty good. The customer service was great. We were looking for a mens suit kerchief, but they dont carry them (which is why I couldnt give them 5 stars), but I was impressed with the customer service. We asked for help in locating the kerchief in the mens section. We started moving to a different department and the associate actually tracked us down and walked us to the location. She was bummed she couldnt find what we needed, but it was fine. Overall, a great experience.

I have shopped at Kohls for many years, but lately I have noticed a real downward trajectory when it comes to quality. I went the other day to buy several new dress shirts. Everything was such thin cheap fabric. I only bought 1shirt and after washing it, I am not have with it either. I just needed to ask a simple question (if I could take the shoe that was on display since they didnt have any other in my size) & it seriously seemed like the employees were hiding from people. Or mayhe hiding isnt the proper word, it was more like theyd see you & literally turn the other way! When I decided to just go to customer service, they actually tried to tell me to go back to the department I was at to ask the employee there... who was nowhere to be found by us customers. The reason Im okay with this is because I did get a pretty good deal on my shoes & I like places I can pay with my Samsung.

Attempted to ask for amazonl drop off, agent acted as if I was bothering her. I used to shop khols, 5 yrs ago. I stop going because my service dog was kicked hard by kholes employee. My service dog provides a service for me which is mobility so I can gain some of my mobility in my Independence back and for one of your employees think its okay and every time we went into their that happen and I tried to contact the manager back then and they were like okay will look into it thats all I got so yeah thats one reason why I quit going so I guess Im just Im just not going to use your facilities any longer

Good prices on close out stock but average prices on the good stuff. Very messy with merchandise scattered all over the place. Evidently its not a priority for the limited staff to keep the store organized and clean. No thought appears to be used in placing and organizing, i.e. Merchandising . Recommend shopping online and picking up at the store if you really want to go out to shop.

I am a very avid online shopper. I shop at alot of stores online. I never write reviews but I think this experience should be heard. I bought water shoes that were only available online...they arrived two days later (soo HAPPY) but they were too big. So I immediately went to the nearest Kohls (Palm Desert) on my lunch break. But before that I called the 800 number to see what was the BEST way to go about the exchange. He said go in the store & they will order the size you need as an even exchange. I go to the store Mohammed tells me that I need to order another pair at regular price & when I receive those, I go back to the store with both shoes & exchange them then. That is ALOT of work not to mention time & gas. I told him that does not seem like the efficient way to resolve this issue. Another employee stood next to him nodding her head yes thats how we do it. I stood there in disbelief. I told him return my shoes, give me Kohls cash, reorder my shoes with the right size & enter the promo code. He said well you can do that at the kiosk. I did it, took forever but I got it done & at the same price.They are so not helpful & not customer service driven...its not like they were busy either so my question is WHY?

I read an article asking whether Kohls would still be in business after the holidays? From my experience today the answer would be a definite no. It was Black Friday and you couldnt find a person on the sales floor to help you if your life depended on it. He sells that they had work pretty much a joke. They had a buy one get one on Hanes underwear for men that set the price of a single package to $40. That item usually goes for about $13 not on sale. I wont be going back to Kohls.

I pray for this cool weather lol..lol..and I break out in a sweat!This store is soo clean, all the clerks smile, acknowledge you..There are soo many beautiful departments full of Christmas sales. I had an Amazon return and they wouldnt let me take it to UPS without charging me six bucks so I had to take it to Kohls I havent been in a Kohls in 5 years. I found every kohls I have been to to be not competitive to say Walmart or sears or JC pennys or Marvins. It is OK but not friendly. Of not friendly then should have low prices. If you have time to clip, sort and use coupons it helps at Kohls but I do not take or buy the local paper as it leans to far to the left (fake news ) I cant trust it much like LA times.
