Cool place. Go to one of their movie nights for sure. Its about the same price as going to the movie theatre, but you get to play with cats and can bring your own snacks, which is way better. There are plenty of cats to go around, and you get to have more interaction than other places. Its definitely the place to go.

Atmosphere: everything was super clean, and there were tons of places to sit for humans and cats. Overall the place looked better than my own house and was just super nice. Everything was also lit very nicely, not too dark not too bright.Service: The employees were super helpful and kind, they were always there to answer any questions you might have which really elevated the bonding time with the cats.Experience: The cats as you probably guessed were super cute and let me tell you there was no shortage of them. Everywhere you looked there would be a cat, even in the bathroom.

My serotonin levels got a lovely reset by simply spending an hour in a room of kitties. If you share your life with a kitty, you know kitties sleep a lot. So there are sweet sleeping kitties to pet. So many! Some are super social and climb into laps. One even hoped into our shoulders! Others want to play. Some wander around and check out towers and baskets and scratchers. Its wonderful. Its clean! The cats are very well taken care of. Leaving your shoes outside of the cat area help keep it clean! Not my first visit and not my last. We love it here!

When I was living in SF a few years ago, the space at KitTea café was such a relief for me! It was obvious from staff interactions and thoughtful management that community care is at the center of their work. I am a queer disabled woman, who was absolutely overwhelmed by work at that time. And just having a comfortable calming location to either work remotely, visit some cats and meet locals away from home, or just chill with a snack made me feel so safe in an otherwise unfamiliar place! I hope to visit again soon, but in the meantime Im happy to say this labor of love has encouraged similar cat cafés to open in my current state of residence (CT). I know this work can be incredibly challenging, so thanks to the organizers for continuing to celebrate and support their community (and the cats of course) over the years♡

Very fun experience. Staff were friendly and cats were very cute and affectionate (Ginny the orange kitty was a stand out). The odor is a little strong (mainly smelled like litter and cleaning products) but it isnt all that much different from an animal shelter. Overall, highly recommend if you are looking to hang out with some kitties and support a small business.

Excellent place to destress with toe beans, biscuits and fuzzy friends. Head and butt scritches will win you some temporary attention from the feline staff. 🐈 you take your shoes off and store them in a cubby at the front of the store before watching a short instructional video on cat and KitTea Cafe etiquette. The owner is very sweet and plays with the cats and chats with customers. Its a 10/10 experience if you like cats

What an incredible spot! The cats here have such a great home and great care. Lots of opportunities to play with and pet the kitties. Gift shop is awesome too! Highly recommend supporting the cats here and adopting, for those who can!

Its pretty much a room with cats in it-- definately more an adoption center than cafe. they give you a can of juice or sparkling water and you can go into the cat room for an hour. most of the cats were sleeping when i went (which is nobodys fault, they need to sleep, just something to take into consideration) the cats that were awake were not super interested in people and seemed kinda over it. the staff were all super duper nice. i did find it a bit nerve-wracking that you had to leave your bag, shoes, and coat outside the cat room (in the main entrance room where anyone can enter) but there were staff there so it was fine. unfortunately 3/5 is a pretty accurate rating of my experience here :[

Everything about my visit was so wonderful. I recommend coming at lunch time (12 - 1PM) because you get to watch all the kitties eat and overall act adorable. Every one of them was so friendly, I think I managed to pet every cat that was there 😂. The air purifiers were nice as other reviews have mentioned, my BF has allergies and didn’t have any congestion or sneezing during our visit. There was a strong cat smell IMO that I was not expecting but it’s to be expected in a room with 20 cats! I received the gift bag as a surprise from my BF, it comes with stickers, a head band, socks, and a cute cat pen. I recommend adding this to your reservation if it’s for a special occasion!

My heart! We loved it here! Such interesting and fun cats with so many different personalities. I was so impressed by how many enrichment activities the cats have. The resident cats were so sweet and the staff is wonderful!
