We had the good fortune to work with Kismet Events for our son’s wedding reception. We cannot translate in words our pleasure and satisfaction on the work that their team did under the guidance of their team lead Saadia She absolutely transformed the place with such an amazing mesmerizing decor. We and our guests were blown away. Saadia is a very humble understanding and polite person to work with.We would strongly recommend her and Kismet Events to anyone looking for a wedding designer.They are Very professional and on top of everything.Tahira & Shabbir Alil

I do not know where to even begin, but the beginning will be a good start.We got engaged in May 2023 and my family wanted us to have our Nikkah ceremony right away. Somehow we landed on October 2023. I always knew that I wanted an outdoor garden ceremony and thought I can do this all on my own. The picture was even more complicated because the Nikkah ceremony was going to be in Los Angeles and live in Michigan Fast forward to August 2023, when I started to panic because I quickly realized that I cant do this on my own. I reached out to various vendors and just didnt feel satisfied after our meetings. How do you trust someone with making your dream a reality when you cant meet them face to face? I dont have much of a social media presence, but I heard about Kismet through friends. We had our zoom meeting with Saadia and Sara on August 17 and I immediately knew we needed to go with Kismet. Saadia took my vision and ran! Creating something that went beyond my dreams and expectations. The planning was seamless even with me living thousand miles away. And they did it in less than two months!!!One moment that stuck out in particular was how they handled a crisis. One week before the ceremony, Saadia called me to tell me they were having difficulty getting the wooden cross back chairs that I had wanted . Deep down I was dying inside and holding back tears because I didnt want to compromise our vision, BUT I didnt want to cause issues. So I gave my best effort in brushing it off. Saadia calls me about 30 minutes later telling me she heard the disappointment in my voice (clearly I failed haha) and had reached out to other vendors and was able to find them. She didnt have to do this, but she did. They went above and beyond to make our day a very special one.Every single guest came up to me and told me it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies they attended. Kismet is worth every penny and above all the hype!Thank you Kismet for making my ethereal ceremony come true!

Loved working with this team for our wedding (April 24 in SoCal). Our wedding planner has a great relationship with Kismet and were so happy they did our decor. The kismet team came up with a wonderful theme in partnership with our planner for our pre-wedding event (Santorini vibes), made our acrylic mandap vision come to life at the wedding, and had the perfect reception set up for us (elegance meets grandeur). My husband and I were fairly hands off when it came to specific decor visions, etc. and so seeing kismet bring their design ideas along the way and eventually bring it to life the weekend of the wedding was incredible. They were respectful of our budget asks and the whole family was thrilled with the end product. Overall we had a really nice time working with this team. They were super responsive and supportive as we navigated rain concerns the week of the wedding - secured a clear tent to still give us the outdoor ceremony feel while being protected from the rain. Thank you Kismet team - we are so appreciative! Would definitely recommend.

From the moment I got engaged I knew I had to have Kismet do my wedding decor. Ive been following their work for years and they always deliver the most creative beautiful work.I showed Hasan a picture of a store window display I liked and he made that come to life in my wedding decor. It was unlike any wedding stage Ive ever seen. It was beautiful and executed perfectly... it looked like something that belongs in a museum!Communication was great from the start and Hasan made many adjustments to make sure we were within budget. Working with Kismet right from the onset of My sons first Grand Royal Bash 1st Birthday - was totally kismet. I could not have found a more reliable and visionary partner in making my dream vision, of living out all of my fantasies of what a 1st grand royal bash birthday should be, for my little prince Rajveer who just turned 1, come true. Kismet was very meticulous with all the details, and got me and my vision from Day 1! Hasan was such a pleasure to work with, and I was truly excited everytime I got to speak with him about the details of my sons birthday. There is so much attention to detail with this team, from fabrics to accessories, to the entire design scaping, the experience of planning this grand day was beyond phenomenal. Our guests complimented the beautiful setup, and attention to detail for the grand royal garden bash to the Nth degree and I cant wait to work with the Kismet team again!

Im not a creative person, so I fully trust Kismet when it comes to bringing my vision to reality. Ive worked with them for 7+ years as they helped our nonprofit with our annual galas staging, drapes, and decor. Most recently, they provided the flowers and customized backdrop for my wedding reception. I worked with Amana and I trusted her with every detail! I showed her pictures and she brought it to life.

Wow I do not think words can encapsulate what Kismet meant for our wedding. If you are someone like me- who has a sense of general inspiration but is comfortable with the designer taking the wheel - this company is for you.When we first started planning our wedding we did not prioritize decor to be totally honest. We signed with Kismet after they gave us a proposal at the budget we were looking for. We told them we like Cost Plus World Market, our colors are mustard yellow and emerald green and they turned it into the most incredible Mandap, cocktail hour display, and reception decor I have ever witnessed. It was so creative, different, fun, and absolutely gorgeous. For it to have been at my own wedding still blows my mind.In retrospect, going with a company that has the talent and sophistication of Kismet was an amazing decision. It brought the event and experience to another level for everybody- especially me and my new husband!

The Kismet team created an unforgettable experience for my parents -- an absolute dream event. As a person who never had a dream wedding in mind and an eye for decor I could not have asked for a better event planner for my big day. What can I say about Kismet Event Design?! WOW. MAGIC. A COMPLETE DREAM. Any praise for Kismet Event Design falls short. Kismet Event Design was the dream team! From our first meeting, they were so easy to work with. Very attentive to details and a creative imagination beyond my wildest dreams. I explained to Saadia my events, my ideas, and showed my outfits. Saadia is a visionary! She took my ideas, magnified them x100, and created the most beautiful and original concepts I have ever seen. She created the perfect slideshow showing me her overall concepts for each event (each event was tailored perfectly to my outfit) and she created the most beautiful themes. Each event held its own - I cannot choose which event had the best decor because they were all just STUNNING. At each event, I heard amazing praises about the decor from our guests. Everyone was blown away. I cannot praise the Kismet Event Design Team enough, and cannot wait to work with them again in the future!

Wonderful creative team! We used Kismet for our wedding ceremony and reception decor and they really delivered. Our wedding was in February 2019 and because we were working with a smaller budget, werent sure whether a full design service would be possible. We reached out to Kismet a couple of months before our event and had a few phone calls and then an in-person consultation to discuss our ideas. Saadia helped us brainstorm and refine our decor ideas to create the ambiance we were hoping for and Hasan brought it to life on the day of our event. Our events were in a site-only venue so there was more coordination involved but they are truly professionals and able to work with any venue or budget. We received so many compliments from our family and friends and couldnt be happier with how our wedding turned out!

Kismet did an amazing job with the Decorations and flowers for our wedding. I’ll admit that I wasn’t the type of bride who had a Pinterest board ready of what I wanted my wedding to look like. But Kismet walked me through everything and helped me decide on what would look the best. And we received so many compliments on the decor and flowers during our wedding - it was simply elegant and better than I could have dreamed of. Saadia and her team worked on 3 of my Indian wedding events (in Fresno and Sacramento) and also did decor for our house for the wedding week. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing everything was! When I began my search for a wedding decorator Saadias work stood out to me as being unique and different for all events she does. No two events of hers will look the same and I love that. From the very beginning Saadia and her team were very nice and responsive. I left mostly everything up to Saadia because I trusted her vision and every event blew me away! We encountered unexpected rain during my wedding week and Saadia and her team managed to work with it last minute and adjust her design to work within a tent. They truly went above and beyond! One of the things that every person who attended my wedding has said is that the decor was phenomenal and nothing they had ever seen before. Saadia is an amazing artist who can visualize the beauty and potential in any space you give her. Saadia, Alejandra and the whole Kismet team are incredible and I cant recommend them enough!

Sadia and her team are amazing! I was extremely stressed out about my wedding planning and especially decor because I had very little time to research new innovative ideas or color themes. In the first conversation with Sadia I said I wanted something simple and fun and had imagined a midnight themed reception. The rest is history. Sadia and her team picked out everything for me and kept it within my budget! It was a dream wedding for us! And to this day we still get compliments about our midnight/starry night reception to our plexiglass mandap! Would highly recommend Kismet Events! I work for a nonprofit organization in Glendale. In January, we had our annual gala fundraiser at The Globe Theatre. Five weeks prior to the event, our centerpieces for our 40 tables fell through. I called Kismet and within days not only did they solve my problem, they took care of other decor needs that just made this event shine. Because it was a fundraiser, our interest was in not spending a lot of money. Kisment worked within my budget and gave us an absolutely amazingly expensive look. Im so grateful and wish I had just called them to begin with. Our guests were amazed by the experience. I was amazed by the quality and professionalism! Highly recommend.

Saadia Kibriya is an artist and creative genius. She can make anything happen, is attentive, thoughtful, and listens to what you want. She has done many events come me including one of my wedding receptions (Valima), my bridal shower, my childs first birthday, and even an awesome 90s themed prom birthday for me and my husband! We got married on May 19th in Redondo Beach. For our wedding, we had an Indian ceremony followed by a Western ceremony. So we needed a mandap and the typical mandap furniture, but then it would need to be repurposed to a wedding arch for the second ceremony. Hasan and his team made this happen in a fantastic manner, and their pricing seemed totally reasonable too. We met with Hasan at their office in Brea for an initial design meeting, and through this plus over email we came up with a plan for the mandap to be reconfigured to a Western-style arch in between ceremonies. The fabric they used for the decor was beautiful and I still vividly remember driving up to the venue and getting emotional at seeing the mandap being set up. Now that some of our wedding photos are ready, we can see all over again how perfect the fabric colors were for our ceremonies. We had red and gold for the Indian ceremony, and blue and purple for our Western ceremony to go with our blue orchid theme. Everything looked beautiful in the ocean breeze. If you know anyone who needs a mandap, we highly recommend Kismet!!

My daughter got married in Oct 2016. The venue we decided upon was Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach. The rule of Hyatt was that we had to go with their approved wedding co-ordinator. We chose Amana. The best decision ever. I was really stressed out with the initial process of the wedding. But Amana put me so much at ease. She worked with me and suggested Sadia for the decor, who was another great choice. They both respected our budgets for the wedding. They guided us in every which way. And the wedding went off very smooth with absolutely no hitches at all. I really recommend this team to anyone. The best thing about Amana she always had a smile for everyone, even at the most stressful moments. Thanks Kismet!!

Kistmet Events is a great team!!! Classy and elegant, two words that I describe them. My sister and I coordinated our brothers reception and Aatika and her team were amazing! We were on a time crunch and they still made our vision possible. They worked around our schedule and were very timely on everything. From the conference calls to the execution they were extremely helpful and always kept you in the loop.Initially we werent too familiar or knew the direction we were going towards and had a small budget,. They were able to set up a sample size meeting where we were able to work out all the details and stay somewhat close to budget. I would highly recommend this team! And brides if you have no ideas or dont know where to start...do not hesitate! Aatika and her team have amazing ideas and are very creative! The flower arrangements are just breathtaking.Thank you again for making our brothers reception look gorgeous!

We had a very poor experience with Saadia and her company, Hello Kismet. Out of the multitude of vendors we worked with, Saadia was by far the worst. We had a rather large wedding of 800 people. We entered into a contract with Saadia to do the decor at the reception and other wedding related events. Once the contract was signed, Saadia was difficult to reach, showed us recycled ideas, wouldnt respond in a timely manner to us or our wedding coordinator, and most importantly, didnt show us sketches in a timely manner. At the proverbial last minute, particularly for a large wedding like ours, we had no choice but to find a different decor company. One would think with Saadias inability to perform according to the terms and conditions of the contract, that she would issue a full refund for our deposit. That, of course, didnt happen. Personally speaking, the amount of stress Saadia caused was significant. In short, we would not recommend working with them for your big day. Theres too much risk, not enough reward, particularly in Southern LA where there are a bevy of honest, hard working decor companies that arent, in my opinion, a front of nothing more than a money grappling facade.

Hasan is the main decorator at my wedding. I would say he is a magician. He knows what he is doing and he is good with color combinations. He has a vision for all of his work. He is the best. My canopy, garlands and bouquet was breathtaking too.
