First time at this place and first time at a Kia in California. I have a brand new K5 and it’s been giving me issues. Jason at the front desk helped me through everything. He was super straight forward and nice as hell. I actually rarely ever leave reviews but I felt I needed to. Jason was AWESOME so happy about the services! Happy to own a Kia and to have this kind of service.

My car was supposed to be ready by six but I didn’t get it till the next day. So it took about 24 hours to get my service done. I never did get a call at any time about it being ready. So I had to call and ask about it. My first call no one picked up so I left a message. I got a call back About 15 minutes later and they said my car was ready. They did send Lyft to pick me up which was very nice. They should’ve called me when my car wasn’t ready on the same day that I dropped it off And they should’ve called me the next day at some point to let me know the car is ready.

Kia Vacaville service is the best in an 100 mile radius! We have tried closer to home and it’s never even close to the exceptional service we receive at Kia Vacaville. I’ll sit in traffic for 40 minutes without issue to have our vehicle taken care by the team at Kia Vacaville. Ismael goes above and beyond to ensure service is done timely and with care. I hope that management recognizes how hard he works to provide such a positive customer experience.

I had a scheduled appointment, its too be considered that your car doesnt go right in at that exact time. There was a little wait. Although that is perfectly fine as they will call you a Lyft to go home if your local or to take you someplace else and when your ready return to pick you up, @ no cost to you! Since the closure of Kia Vallejo, Kia of Vacaville has been experiencing a high volume of customers and so they are always busy and unable to get anyone via telephone. Kia needs to keep their promise about the 100,000/10 yr warranty . I’ve been dealing with my engine problem for close to two years now and they have me back and forth with “tests” needed to be done and meanwhile my mileage keeps going up while all I have is a “band aide “ to the problem. Their staff are just doing their job and I’m sure they are over worked. Thank you Jason w. for listening and making sure my car got looked at after it was towed.

I approved work on my car with the service center and after 5 days of no response I followed up to learn the service rep did not receive my message as claimed (this resulted in a delay of up to 3 additional days). With this in mind, I followed up on the estimated completion date and was told my car was ready for pick up the day before. Apparently, the paperwork was placed in the bin of a service rep who was on vacation. Overall, I am satisfied with the mechanical work. However, the management team must review the workflow and tighten up the internal communication. The customer experience in this case failed.

I do not recommend coming here to buy a car if you’re looking for a personable, friendly, and respectful interaction. I have never been treated so poorly by a salesman before. We drove 1.5 hrs with the intent on buying a used vehicle listed on their website. When we got there the saleswoman we scheduled with was busy so a man took over and off the bat did not seem too interested in making a sale. I tried talking with him and he’d ignore my comments on the vehicle and barely answer questions. There was a concern about the coolant being two inches below the minimum line since this can indicate a leak and potentially a blown head gasket. The salesman didn’t seem concerned but said service will look at it. So we go to lunch while they take a look. When we return the salesman couldn’t be bothered to work with us anymore. He explained they found no issues and walked off. No follow up on if we want a test drive or anything. I’m still shocked by it. But also I’m super concerned about their lack of care of the low coolant. It’s a closed system so very clearly there’s a leak and they are lying about it. I wouldn’t trust this place and I highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Do not believe all the 4 and 5 stars reviews being posted. Since a few years ago, I periodically check the reviews on this dealership. I had a terrible experience attempting to buy a low-priced vehicle pre-pandemic from this dealership. The sale didnt occur and Ive experienced similar poor customer service and pricing problems as other negative reviewers. Buyers, beware.

Ive purchased two used vehicles here previously. Very happy with both vehicle purchases in the past. I am looking for another purchase. Sent an inquiry just after closing last night. No one contacted me this morning (figured they might be busy). I ended up calling the Sales Dept. around 9:30 this morning. My inquiry was there and it showed no one had responded.Explained what I was looking for, that I had a trade-in, and wanted to start the financing process. I received an application. Completed it within 5 minutes. Two hours later, I emailed back. I knew nothing had been done. I have several alerts when my credit is run; none of them notified me. I was told the system didnt notify the sales person it was complete.It seemed easy to check and verify the status of the finance form, yet no one did that either. I declined any further inquiry or to have my credit ran for financing. Just a word to the wise, when a customer makes multiple attempts at purchasing a car, they are interested and sales should take it seriously.The customer service Ive experienced over the last few years has definitely diminished. Sad to see that....Kia of Vacaville used to be my go-to when purchasing another vehicle.

Excellent service. Appointment time was kept to the minute. My appointment was at 7 and the doors opened promptly at 659a. Roddell (I hope that’s the proper spelling) in the service department was very professional and kept me informed about what was being done to my car. He offered me a Lyft to a close by destination if I wanted to go for coffee or something while I waited. I chose to walk to the Peet’s coffee across the freeway. The car was ready for the road by 10, probably would have been done sooner, but I missed the call asking for my signature on one of the forms. Anyway when I got back from coffee, I signed and was on my way. Great experience. I will return for my future service needs.

David Reese was our salesperson last week and he was fantastic. My grandpa was with me for the purchase, who had a lottt of questions lol, and David not only answered all of his questions with very educated information about the car I was purchasing and about Kia in general, but did so with professionalism and humor.All of the other employees that we came into contact with that day were so friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated how welcome we felt. Erik, the sales manager, walked over to say hello to us and check on us as well. My 2016 Sorento is under the engine recall. My engine blew at 3:30 am on my way to work.it had almost 130,000 miles on it.I made it into work had it towed into Vacaville Kia after work. I talked to Jason on the phone that morning he was at the counter when I got there with the tow truck. Everything went very smoothly. I went and got my rental. Jason stayed in contact with me about what was going on every step of the way. As soon as Everything was approved my reman engine came in on a Wednesday and my car was ready on Thursday. I paid up front for rental once Kia approved Everything they covered Everything including the rental. I had forgotten something in my vehicle and went to get it and Jason was kind enough to go get it. I told him about the rental having a fowl smell and he had some freshener sprayed in the rental he did it himself. Thank you for the great service. I came into Vacaville Kia Service Department to address an ICCU recall for my EV6. I had an appointment at 12:30pm on a Saturday, arrived around 12:09pm served around 12:15pm. There were only 2 service advisors working and there were no shortage of customers that needed service. Both service advisors were friendly and addressed their customers needs and was not rushing as they want to make sure their customer’s needs were addressed. I was helped by Ismael Ayala. After checking in, I was told that it was going to take about 2.5 hrs to complete the recall service, but was called less than 2 hrs later as my car was finished already. I appreciate that they called me when the car was done vs waiting towards the end of the day like some dealers. They offered a complementary vehicle inspection and car wash (not well done as there were still some bird poop and bug splatter that was not fully washed off and some water marks), but the dust was washed off). Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I will return for future services for my EV6.

Dont come here for service.Came in for a brake diagnostic because of the soft pedal. They recommended I need to replace the pads and rotors, but when I asked about if they checked the brake fluid or not, they said no. And I asked them to check it. Second call, asked about the brake fluid, they said brake feel is fine, even though the brake is almost to the floor, and still recommended brake pads and rotors.They dont really try to fix your issue but to try upsell their services

If you can get your car serviced some place else, do it.First, appointments don’t really matter here. I had an appointment at 10AM and they didn’t actually get to my car until 1.5hrs later. The only constant is that oil changes still take 1.5hrs… so I was there for 3hrs, with no updates.On that same visit I asked them to take a look at my wiper fluid reservoir since I had a leak. They said the reservoir was cracked so I made an appointment a week later to get it repaired. I came in and waited another 1.5hrs only for them to tell me that they misdiagnosed and it wasn’t the reservoir that had the issue and I needed another part. But hey, good news, this will be “cheaper” because the work will only be 30min instead of the hour that they estimated.WHATEVER, so I came back. Luckily I made an appointment at 8AM and I was one of the first ones there. This time they estimated the work to be 1.5hrs and WOW it actually was 1.5hrs! But it was definitely not the 30min that they said it would be nor was it cheaper.The whole thing was so frustrating. I’m not saying that their work sucks. The wait sucks, the estimation sucks, they lie about numbers. It didn’t used to be this way. Appointments used to matter. I remember they used to give updates whenever something took too long. And normally they walk you to your car, but this time around they just gave me my keys and asked me to look for my car.. which wasn’t even in the front, it was at another lot.

Came in for 30k service and was completely satisfied but for just one thing, the price labor was very high. I turned my car for 9:30 app. and was called for pickup at about 1 in the afternoon. Total 3.5 hrs at approx 137/hr for $479.33. Total cost of my service was $927.45. Hence the 4 stars. Need to do better with pricing.

The way cars are parked after service is finished is not well thought out. It took me 4 attempts to get out. I was parked very close to cars on both sides. I had to do the pull out little, then reverse and turn slightly, and I had to do thus several times because there were also cars parked in front of me. The price of 115 for oil change is crazy when you can have it done cheaper at other places.

Didn’t know why I was there despite the appointment, took time to get all my info and vin number despite it all being entered online for the appointment. Scheduled a Lyft shuttle, only positive. And suggested 60k mile service for about 10x the cost of my trusted local shop. Yikes. If it wasn’t for a recall repair I would never go to dealers shops.

I brought my vehicle in, was sent home for the repairs to be completed, but then had to immediately return because the parts had to be ordered. Poor communication and customer service. Our car was towed in, but It took about 3 weeks for our warranty issue to be processed and approved and then the rental car issued to us. The dealer is a 2 hour drive for us. Then we were told the car was complete, only for my husband to pick it up, he thought the brakes felt off and he returned and the tech told him the car was unsafe to drive. I then received a call the next day wondering if I picked up the car; clear lack of communication. I told them what happened, they ran more tests and called me later that day to say they think it was good. I would not settle for “I think “ at this point and they said they would run some more tests but they would just need to put a few more miles on the car. I said ok. I did not hear back until I called them a week later and they told me they thought they called. We finally have our car back. Poor communication and slow customer service (when you can get them on the phone or to call back) we only had success when we called parts and were forwarded to service.

My first visit for service for my 2013 Kia Forte was smooth sailing. They took my car in with Fresh oil and filter, tires rotated and car thoroughly cleaned inside and out in only 1 hour. I had recently purchased a Kia Nitro and I bet it in because the seat belt needed replacing. After replacing the seat belt I have them check on another matter concerning the engine of my car. The service person came back and told me that there was no problem with the engine of the car, there was a very loud shifting and thump! Your service person came back and told me that there was nothing wrong with the car! I now believe that there is a problem with the transmission of the car. I dont know why he lied about the car but I no longer trust Kia of Vacaville service department.

I just bought a beautiful brand new Kia Soul Plus and I absolutely love it!! I am a first time buyer and Raoul was absolutely amazing. He got us the lowest price compared to any other dealers! In fact most dealers don’t that is went to dont even negotiate on the price. I was very pleased that they were actually willing to negotiate. Raoul was so awesome, I live two hours away from Vacaville and he texted me to make sure I got home safe and to let me know that if I have any questions to let him know and he is more then willing to help. My family was telling me that buying a new car was going to be such a long process and it will not be fun at all but at Kia of Vacaville it was not anywhere near as terrible as they were making it seem! I am so overwhelmed will the amazing service and I would recommend any to this dealership but more specifically to Raoul!

Update 10/26/20 - Unfortunately I had to take my car in today to get warranty work done. Got an oil change as well since I was due. I got a call about 2 hours later saying I needed new front brakes and my right front CV boot was leaking and they would have to replace the entire front axel assembly to fix it. Quoted me anywhere from approx $1000 (with after market parts) to approx $1800 (genuine Kia parts) to fix both. I told the front desk it was just weird because I just got my tires rotated 2 weeks ago and these issues were never brought up. In fact, my mechanic said my brakes still had about 50% life left and Id imagine a CV boot leak is pretty easy to spot when rotating tires too. Anyways, the warranty repair went fine along with the oil change. I went home to inspect my brake pads and low and behold, still plenty of life left in them. Checked my right front CV boot and I dont see a leak anywhere! Ive uploaded pictures so you can all be the judge. Thinking about filing a claim with the bureau of automotive repair. The service department must think Im some chump they can get a buck off of. Any future warranty work will go through my mechanic and Ill just get refunded through Kia instead. Cant trust the service department here!Review is being written approximately 1 year post service.... Went to Kia of Vacaville to get a tune up as well as a few other things on my car. Was charged $144 to have 4 spark plugs changed as a part of the tune up. Left the dealership and everything seemed fine until yesterday when my car was acting funny and I got a code that cylinder 1 and 2 were misfiring. Checked spark plugs and saw that they were all rusted and never appeared to have been changed! Ive only driven my car approximately 6000 over the last year. Not too happy to say the least. This may have been a minor overlook on their mechanics part, but I am hoping Kia of Vacaville will make this right.

Great Experience! Definitely 5 stars ⭐. We had a horrible experience with KIA OF STOCKTON. We had plans to look at multiple dealerships in the area but the plans changed when my daughter test drove a 2021 Kia Rio. The Salesman explained everything thoroughly. We did not feel even a little bit pressured at all. Everything was completely explained unlike KIA OF STOCKTON. The difference has to be that Jonathan (Salesman) actually possesses ethics and is genuinely a good person. He was patient and treated my family very well. The finance guy was great as well. I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle with only 7,000 miles on it from this dealership. It broke down within 6 hours of driving it home. I brought it back in for warranty repairs and the put me in a pretty nice loner but after two months they werent able to fix it. After multiple failed attempts I finally asked the sales manager if I could get a new one and he quickly got me into a brand new car for roughly the same cost. Though the process was slow the staff was kind and helpful so I have revisedy review from an original 1 star review to a 4 star. I cant give a 5 star because they should have never put that car up for sale as a certified pre-owned to begin with.

Went here for the recall update and was here a few hours just for them to tell me they couldn’t do it because they can’t connect to my vehicle. Told me to come back so they can troubleshoot that issue and couldn’t provide me much information. I figured they had my car that long they would have figured out why it’s not connecting but nothing wanted me to come back and pay hourly for them to diagnose the problem. Took it to another KIA dealership and they were much friendlier staff and their techs found the issue no problem. Techs at Vacaville are either lazy or incompetent or both.

My experience was not exactly stellar. I took my 2022 sportage in for an oil change, and some possibly warranty work on 2 items. My appointment was at 10am. I dropped my car at about 945. It took this place almost 6 hours to tell me that I need a battery on a car that I purchased from them 2 years ago brand new. AND the warranty for the battery ran out in November. Im upset with how long it took, and having to purchase a battery for a practically brand new car, which I will not be buying from kia of Vacaville. You buy a brand new car to avoid maintenance like that for several years down the road, not exactly 2 years after purchasing. I feel like the service guy showed no compassion, as I let him know that I knew he didnt care. You get 2 stars for completing my oil change, and replacing the fuse in the USB port in my backseat area which was covered under warranty still.

This is an early review, and will amend later if needed....I called numerous dealers trying to get their best out the door price without having to spend a lot of time and gas in running around comparing cars that were in stock, and prices. Most dealers would not disclose this if I wasnt already sitting at their table.During this time where supply of some vehicles may be limited, most dealers are using an added dealer fee to boost profits. I had one dealer trying to add a $5,000 fee!I was not willing to pay this, and I am happy to say Kia of Vacaville didnt use this practice.I called the dealer, and discussed the entire vehicle price, tax, fees, etc. While on the phone, they gave me a very fair OTD price for the car. I am happy to say, that when I went to the dealer the next day, they wrote up the sale exactly as promised on the phone call. The entire sale process was as smooth as any can be. I feel I got a fair deal, and a better interest rate than I expected on the balance. The sales rep was very pleasant, and after a little time to finish papers, and car prep, I rode home in my new Kia Forte.

I took my car into shop because I had an auxiliary battery problem. 3 weeks later, after testing they replaced it. Then they said my regular battery was bad, worked when I arrived. My car was in the shop for 4 weeks to replace auxiliary battery. They did compensate labor charges, but being without a car for 4 weeks without a loaner it was horrible.

I got the run around all day to just take it to another dealer who cares about having a happy driver on the road. Brought my Kia Cadenza into Kia of Vacaville due to coolant leakage. It appears that a hose that was replaced approximately 30-45 days ago at this same Kia dealer was defective ( hole or tear) which, in effect, caused the engine to overheat. Finally m, after 3 business days, I was able to get my car back in a supposedly repaired state. Although I was not charged for the service repair, I am am not too “happy” with what occurred. Thus far, no additional problems have occurred

This was by far the worst experience ever in a Kia Dealership. Recently relocated and my car needed service. I made this appointment weeks again. When I arrived I was told they were behind. My basic oil change took 3.1/2 hours so I had get a Lyft to take me back home. Screwed up my whole day. Then I had to call close to closing and was told my care was just being finished. Lyft driver took me back just before 6p (closing) and didn’t even receive a car wash. Worst experience ever. I’m not even comfortable with my car being thoroughly examined. I hated this experience so much that I will drive to another dealership miles away to get my car serviced next time ….Ridiculous!!!! I was told I can come back for my car wash btw… like who has time for that?Oh yes and not I’ve gotten on some list where they are asking me to purchase a new car. This dealership sucks…. If I decide to buy a new car in the future.. I will not but a Kia for the sole purpose of this experience.

Pretty disappointed in my closing experience… waiting hours to close because there was no finance person on site, finally left and was told they would deliver the car to me the next day with the paperwork, arrived late, “printer was broken” so unable to provide all the necessary forms (wanted me to sign a blank one and they would fill it in later), Paulo (sales manager) promised to overnight me the missing forms but they did not arrive, he promised not to cash check until Friday (so I would have time to fund), but cleared on Thursday. Also received an online trade-in offer through their (Kia of Vacaville) website they then would not honor. Love the car but frustrated with the closing steps of the sales process with this dealer.

So its been about 7 months since I bought my 2023 kia forte, and while I enjoy my car, this was the worst car buying experience that I have had, out of the 3 cars that I have purchased. The first problem I had was with my sales representative. She was extremely friendly and nice. However, it seemed with every question I asked she had to go ask someone (the sales manager) if that was allowed. After we finalized everything, we agreed upon I came back the next day to get the car and finalize the paperwork. This is when many more problems occurred, the sales representative was extremely nice and did her job to the best of her ability, however I had to wait WAY to long for her to go and check on every question I had, with I presume the sales manager. The sales manager was very unorganized and did not do his job properly at all. When I agreed to put down 2k as a down payment and see if they would finance the rest (~25k ish) I filled out the paperwork as precious employer as military and current employer as none. The sales representative mirrored this, however when I signed the first financial paperwork, they were under the impression that i was still in the military...when I made it a point that I was no longer in the military.This was not the only mistake of the sale manager as he financed the incorrect amount and I had to put 3k as a down payment due to his mistake.The first finance fell through, as the dealership wanted proof I was in the military for me to get financed at a certain interest rate..... when I reminded them that I was no longer in the military, they had to rerun financial options,which again took a toll on my credit score. Overall I had a very poor interaction with the sales manager due to his multiple mistakes.When it came to financial side, the hulking beast of a man, got very upset when I asked verifying questions, as all the information should have been worked out before. Turns out it wasnt...wasnt.... the document I signed somehow disappeared and there was one point where he left the room visibly upset, (he later said it was at the employees for not having all the information before hand, but im sure he didnt like me asking questions about the cars finances and me making sure that the price I was paying was correct) I eventually left the room trying to figure out what was going on, after he tossed the paperwork to me and told me to go figure it out...regardless I had a very uncomfortable time after that as he explained why he was upset with the staff...overall it was a extremely nice sales representative, who couldnt make any decisions regarding a sale of a car... A sales manager who was very incompetent and made 2 very large mistakes, and a financial manager who made me very uncomfortable when I asked questions, one of which a discount he assured me was applied, but never was.
