They were bad, gave up & went to Hamer Toyota.Buying a used RAV4 at Keyes was taking hours, we had cash, no financing. We signed lots of papers. The said they would print us a copy when we picked up the car tomorrow. The next day, 10 minutes before our pick-up time, another Manager called & demanded we go find a bank. They wanted a cashiers check. They forgot to mention that yesterday.Forget Keyes....they were slow, not friendly and shady. Hamer sold us a similar car, lower mileage, happy to accept our personal check.

Booking an appointment online was easy and convenient. I arrived at my booked appointment and was seen right on time. Later in the day I received an email with a video explaining what they checked which I thought was amazing! I’ve never received one of those with my jeep. Definitely saw the Toyota quality. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars was because I had just washed my car prior to taking it in and I found dirt all over my passenger seat and a big blob of oil on my front bumper, but worst of all, they turned on my windshield wipers. Was definitely not happy about that. But overall, satisfied with the service.

Good time of day, everyone. Ill share my negative experience dealing with this dealer. On January 5th, I came to buy a car, arranged the credit, everything seemed fine. I made the initial payment, and we went our separate ways. On January 8th, I received a call stating that my car had arrived, and I could pick it up. I went, signed the contract, and took the car. On January 18th, a dealership manager called, informing me that the bank did not approve the credit. Subsequently, the dealership initiated harsh checks on my credit rating, but I did not give my consent for this. I contacted a dealership employee to find out what was happening. The employee explained that the bank did not approve the credit, and they were looking for a new financial organization. We scheduled a meeting for January 20th.Upon attending the meeting, I received a series of offers from the dealership employee, but all of them were highly unfavorable. On that day, they subjected me to several harsh credit rating checks. When I stated that I did not give them consent and questioned why they were doing this without my permission, the seller claimed ignorance, essentially lying to my face. Result: I returned the car, and even after signing the contract termination, they persisted in conducting harsh checks on my credit rating. I want to warn everyone who considers buying a car from there - think many times. There are many other dealers who operate honestly and openly! Result: now I have 8 hard credit inquiries, thanks to this dealer, and my credit history is compromised.

I had a terrible experience at Keyes Toyota. Ahmad in finance misled us about the warranty, claiming there would be no fees to cancel. After four months, they deducted $400 from the $3999 warranty cost plus cancellation fees when it should have been around $250 based on what he told us when he was trying to sell warranty to us. when confronted, he was very rude and yelled at me. I even ask if there was a camera to show what he told us when we were going to finance the car and he was explaining about warranty, but they said there is no camera in this office!Another manager lowballed my cars value, offering $18,000 for a 2021 well-maintained, low-milegage car, while market value was much higher. They also wasted 3 hours of my time. Avoid this dealership to avoid problems and do not believe what they say about Toyota Warranty.

I went there for service and the amount I would pay was very unclear. They did not let me bring the estimate with me, so I did. It have it for reference when they sent me a text message that was short and (intentionally?) misleading. They also sent me a video that was impossible to hear. I went to pick up my car and it was almost $200 more than I was quoted. I realize now the text message kind of said this? But it did not u close a total or all charges. No one called to discuss. When I went to ask about my technician was rude and said “well you signed it.” He could at least have given a polite apology or admitted that it was misleading. I was also quoted RT for a repair that I will be having done by my regular mechanic for 60% less. I do not recommend coming here unless you want to be treated rudely or spend much more money than is necessary.

Had a phenomenal experience here today buying a new car. Love Toyotas and have been looking for another option here in the Valley and would absolutely recommend buying a car here. First time dealing with Keyes. Met General Manager Craig Wolfson who helped us out initially, and was really thrilled with every single person who helped us. Very helpful vibe, no high pressure, nice selection and people took the time to walk me through all the options. Ended up with a new Rav 4 prime, and they took all the time needed to show me all the features. Very positive experience and would come back next time Im looking for a car.

I wanted to give them a 5 star but unfortunately I wasnt to happy with the service I received. I know there are certain circumstances that went with my car, like a lot of mileage and so forth, but I felt as though I was given a price, which was a lot, that I believe wasnt even necessary just to check the diagnostics further, which turned out was not needed. The reason for my car breaking down was actually listed on my invoice when I went to get the car after deciding to take it to a regular mechanic. I just felt like I was being dragged a little to see how much I was willing to spend. Either way, I still had to pat the basic $150 to just hook up the car to the machine, but In addition to that, I also had to shell out towing fees to get it there and get it out of there, so I really wasnt happy with the service I received. After leaving my representative a voice mail that I wasnt going on with the fixing, I wasnt able to get a hold of him again either. I guess since I wasnt going to use the service he suggested, I wasnt important enough to even be greeted wheni got there. You live and learn....

Unfortunately, I the service advisor I worked with was not pleasant to work with. Instead of trying to work with me when mistakes were made, he was curt and slightly combative.I came very early and waited patiently for a free advisor, no problems there. Apparently my advisor’s twin was the one to check me in and told me to wait for a few minutes inside for my advisor to call me. 30 minutes later, with no call, I went to my advisor. From his demeanor and computer work, he had not entered my truck in the system at all yet. He then was combative when I stated what I was told about waiting. This continued to the phone call I received once my car was diagnosed. When I asked why a leaking fuel cap would cause the electronic control engine light and parking sonar failure, the advisor was quick to blame me for the cap issue. No blame was needed in either case. I was just desiring information. Before and after the appointment, he would leave me standing in front of his door for at least 5 minutes without any direction.

Eddy was very quick and professional this morning. I chose to stay on site when he told me it would only take 1 1/2 hrs to 2hrs. I waited 2 hrs and went outside for some air when I spotted my car just sitting here in the parking lot. Your app said it was being inspected. I waited another 20 more minutes then left message for Eddy. Finally he ran off the paperwork so I could leave. Car is running great but who cares when I’m pissed off. If the car is finished and ready for pick up then the paperwork should come next, don’t you think?

It’s fine service, it can take a while if it’s busy over 3 hours for an oil change on some days. Most annoying thing is that if it’s busy, they just tell you I’ll check then they won’t. First time at this dealership for a routine checkup on my car. Scheduled through their website with what I needed done (80,000 mile service for around $120). When dropping off the car and going over the work that would be done, I was told the “required work” was going to be $1200+ WITHOUT them even looking at the car…Terrible perception for a first time customer, and I will be taking my services elsewhere. I of course only went with what I scheduled, but being told multiple services needed to be done on the car without looking at it is a little absurd.

Went in yesterday not really knowing how this process works! To start off I had the sweetest and most informative sale experience with Rocky, he showed me cars, allowed me to drive them, helped me compare and narrow down on a choice of my liking. Afterwards came the scary part, the paper work (credit and financials). Though I thought this process would be too much for me, Maurice (best manager) and Rocky guided me through the entire process and helped me understand how and what I would be doing for the next few months, they left me without a doubt. Overall my experience was amazing here! I can’t recommend them enough! I wouldn’t look anywhere else if you’re looking for your first car or any car in general, they are the guys for the job.

Despite my initial excitement about the prospect of receiving service from a well-known dealership, the series of frustrating encounters Ive had with their service department have left me thoroughly disappointed.On Monday, I called the dealership at 5:15 pm to set up an appointment for the price, appointment and installation of a windshield camera. To my surprise, I was informed that the parts department was closed, and I needed to call back the next day. Accepting this inconvenience, I called again on Tuesday, only to be told that someone from the parts department would contact me. Regrettably, that call never came.Undeterred, I reached out on Wednesday, and after being transferred from service to another department, I was left with nothing but a voicemail. This lack of a direct point of contact further frustrated my attempts to schedule an appointment.Today, Thursday, I called once more, hoping to finally secure an appointment and obtain a price estimate. To my dismay, I was informed that I could not receive this information until a service specialist or advisor spoke with me. Unfortunately, none were available at the time, and I was assured that someone would contact me - this was 9:35 am. As of 4:00 pm, no one has reached out to me.In my latest attempt to address the ongoing issues, I called and requested to speak with a manager in the service department. To my disbelief, I was directed to yet another voicemail, this time belonging to a lady named Ruby.This string of unresponsiveness, unavailability, and broken promises has left me frustrated and questioning the professionalism of Keyes Toyota of Van Nuys. It is disappointing to encounter such disorganization and a lack of concern for customer needs, especially before setting foot in the dealership for any actual services.If you are considering this dealership for service, I strongly advise you to think twice. My experience suggests that Keyes Toyota of Van Nuys may not prioritize customer satisfaction or deliver on their promises when it comes to service appointments.

I have recently moved to the area, and I took my car here one day to get an oil change, and I was very satisfied with the service. Then I had an open recall on my car, so I brought it back to the dealership to get it checked, and they took 2.5 hours just to check the battery. and they didn’t tell me my car was done until I texted the service advisor asking when it would be done . They didn’t put anything in the car, they just checked the battery then they told me my control arms were cracked and needed to be replaced which was a $2000 repair. I even had my boyfriend call to confirm the issue with Giovanni. I took it to another mechanic to get a second opinion, and they told me there was nothing wrong with the control arms. Please be careful when going to dealerships and get more than one opinion. I will be taking my business elsewhere, and I do not stand for taking of unknowing customers.

My service writer, Manny Escoto, did an excellent job of informing and setting up my appointment.One puzzling issue was the request for repair of an upholstery zipper on the rear fold down seat. I was informed the repair was not covered by my warranty. That was totally understandable. What I question is whether anyone really looked at it?I say this because after hearing the cost of the repair ($1300) and recommendation to check costs at an upholstery site (which advice I truly appreciate, it showed a concern for me) I figured I had nothing to lose by trying to fix it myself, which I did. The zipper had separated and needed to be forced back to engage the teeth properly again. Shouldnt a technician be able to diagnose and rectify this type of issue?But more importantly, Manny did a great job and I plan to call him in the future for the service needs of my RAV4 and my wifes Venza.

I purchased a certified-preowned 2021 Toyota Prius with a defective radio unit. The music skips no matter what phone is connected to it. I brought the car in explaining the issue and they did told me that its normal, when Ive had other cars in the past never having this issue. I dont recommend this dealer since they refused to replace it with a working one, recently the hub cap from one of the wheels fell off as well.

On a Friday morning took my rav4 in for grinding noise from A/C. They took apart and said there was nothing wrong. On my way back, I tried the A/C and suddenly it was only blowing warm air. The cold air completely stopped working. I immediately called and was told my advisor had left early and no one is available. I asked for a manager and they said one would call me. I received no call for two days. I follow up Sunday morning to be told they don’t work on Sundays. Asked to speak with GM, was given his voicemail.. This review is for the Service Department. UNACCEPTABLE. Waited for nearly 6 hours on a coolant bypass valve replacement. Such labor should be at most 2 hours! They really dropped the ball on this. I’ve only had positive experiences at the Keyes service center, which is somewhat of a rarity for dealerships.I recently experience a brake fading issue that had gone away by the time I made it into service a couple days later. Despite not being able to replicate it, the service team went above and beyond trying to ensure my safety. They met with me to get as much detail as possible to try and pinpoint the issue. The tech answered all my questions and explained in detail how the pedal/master cylinder system works. They ultimately found some rotor/pad oxidation that may have been the cause, which they resurfaced for me, and I have had no issues since.My sincerest thanks to David and Albert for making the whole process as best as it could be.

Was charged $225 for labor and Giovanni described it to me as a labor charge for the service. He told me I would not be charged the $225 again once I came back in for the service. I found out my repair was covered under my warranty at another dealership so I requested a refund. He then told me that the $225 was my diagnostic fee and a refund could not be done. At no point during my visit or on my invoice was this charge listed as a diagnostic fee. Also, this is outrageously high for a diagnostic fee?? They quoted me $780 to get 2 tire pressure sensors replaced. I came to take advantage of freebees from an email from Jack. No one knew what I was talking about. First call in the morning could not put me through to service to find someone who knew what I was talking about. She suggested I drive in and see. I couldn’t at that time so I did later. First service person said he’d look into it and had me pull up. He did not come back. Another then came to my car, he also did not know about. I showed both the email. I also told both that I didn’t need the third item - a car wash. The second guy actually told me you don’t do car washes and that you were too busy to do free stuff. Made me feel cheap and bad about coming in. At this point I was trapped, so I said then why’d I get sent here where I’m trapped. Without saying anything like, “ let me move the car ahead of you” he just walked away and then moved the car. I drove around and parked. I then went to the parts department where I assumed they replaced batteries in key fobs and could give me wiper blades. The gentleman there very nicely told me he had no idea about this and sent me to find Jack or Ruby. Another service person, Ivan, saw me wandering around looking at offices and asked me about everything and called Jack on the phone. This story would have ended with a zero or 1 star rating except that Ivan after talking to Jack gave me exceptional service and took care of everything. He probably would’ve washed my car if I had said anything. He explained that Jack had only sent these emails to people like me who hadn’t been in the past year. Ivan even chased me down as I was driving out because I had requested the used battery and forgot to wait for it.I explained to Ivan why I hadn’t been back for him to share with Jack.

I purchased a used Jeep at this location. The GM was walking me around excessively commenting about my appearance. The salesperson did not seem to know what he was doing. The finance person was very rude like I was inconveniencing him for using my lender. They made me come back more than once for a simple sale, then made me sit for hours while they completed the sale agreements promising me I would soon leave. I had to ask them to scrape stickers off of the vehicle before I left. Then, I discovered that the factory EV charger worth about $700 was missing from the Jeep. When I sent multiple emails to the dealer inquiring why it was missing, I was ignored. I can tell that they ONLY cater to Toyota customers. I would highly suggest you to not buy any other make from this dealer. You will be treated poorly and completed ignored after your purchase.

Either they’re absolutely non competent or straight up liars.. our car was making clanking noises while braking.. at first they said they can’t hear it.. I show them a video with the same noises and possible explanation to help them identify the problem.. first they refused to use it and when I forced them they said it’s broken suspension and replacement will be over $2000 total.. Took it to another non Toyota service and turns out it’s 4 lose bolts on the suspension control arm.. They tightened it for free and problems solved.. Oscar helped us out and he was great. Very down to earth, genuine and helpful car salesman. He didnt make us feel pressured, but was thorough and presented my husband and I with the options that were best suited for us. Ive never left a review for a car dealer or staff person because I never felt impressed enough to do so. Took my vehicle in March 20th at 7am for a transmission recall on my 2023 tundra. Was greeted by David Parada to assist me. After completing my paperwork I asked him if he can call transportation since it was going to take two hours he had denied due to distance. (“Meanwhile they have always called transportation for the same distance when I drop off my vehicle for regular maintanance ”) After making a point he decided to call me an Uber. David told me it will take will take two hours for the service be completed. After calling him three times I decided to take an Uber around 5pm on my own expense seeing my car was outside completed and without David notifying me. Unfortunately due to this lack of service I will no longer take my vehicle to Keyes Toyota anymore.

They made a mistake in the contract called me back a few days later to sign another one wanting me to pay $8500 that was owed to me for my trade in. Then 3 weeks go by and still would NOT payout the car that I traded in. I would never recommend this company. I have called several times and get the run around. If possible go somewhere else.

My car was vandalized so my body shop sent my car to keys to repair the panoramic moonroof. A few months later i noticed my headliner was all water stained in a straight line. I dropped it off 3/5 they called me the same day to ask me where the leak was? i told them look at the headliner there’s a big watermark never heard back from them i started calling 3/25 but couldn’t get anyone finally called the main number 3/27 explained to the girl i couldn’t get anyone she said they will call me back and nothing same on 3/28. 3/29 called yet again nothing from service had to call the main number again finally i said it’s been 5 days my cars been there 3 weeks she finally got me with someone that said your cars ready we’ve been calling.. ( Never got a call or message) I go get my car 3/30 and ask them what was wrong with it? he said someone left the moonroof open i said i am the only one who drives it i haven’t opened it he said i don’t know what to tell you we put it through the car wash and it’s been parked in the rain since 3/7. So they didn’t nothing in 3 weeks and my headliner had this watermark going across it. A car i’m paying over 40,000 dollars for i will never come to keys toyota again ever.

Very disappointed in this stealership (as Dave Ramsey would say). Went to look at s used Mercedes on their lot. I drove from San Dimas; hour plus drive. The Mercedes GLC 350e had some minor repairs to the rear bumper. I put this in quotation because bumpers are usually plastic now.The bumper was sticking out on the driver side about 1/4 of an inch. The hood was offset by a little as well. I expect this from a generic car lot but not a major player like Keyes.They were very busy and handed me off to another salesperson...not the one with whom I texted originally. When I pointed the damage out, and started to leave, the salesperson said, What about a BMW. I assume when he asked where I live he was listening and knew if I drove that far, I was probably there only to see the Mercedes.If you are looking for a used car, this may not be the place.

I leased here. I got into an agreeable price for the Toyotacorolla hybrid 2024, and Michael Mike Bellinger is thesalesman who helped me. I would highly recommend foranyone to find Mike as their sales person. I walked in and did not make an appointment. Mike is very reliable, sincere, and helpful. When the dealership and I finallly agreed on the price, i waited about a week for the car to deliver. It came earlier than expected. However, as I finished signing paper, I realized at home that the monthly written on the contract was $30~ higher than what was agreed. I relayed it to Mike and he made sure the next day that everything is fixed. Props to the managers too as well. I was very happy when I left the dealership. Everybody was pleasant overall, very reasonable staffs. I now enjoy my new car and would like to say thanks specially to Mike. Its my pleasure doing business with this specific dealership.
