I found Kenton Koszdin Law from a google search after I applied for social security benefits on my own and my claim was initially denied. Mr. Koszdin was able to file an appeal. I was always able to get in touch with them when I needed to, and if I had to leave a message, someone from his team or Mr. Koszdin himself would call me back within 24 hours. Mr. Koszdin and Naomi were very helpful and assisted me with getting my social security benefits approved. I highly recommend Kenton Koszdin!

You got hurt... You were injured... You simply cannot work to earn a living and pay your bills... You desperately need Social Security Disability as a matter of survival. Where do you go? What do you do? Who do you call? The world of SSDi is incredibly confusing and the deck often seems stacked against you. Me? What did I do? I went online and did the research, made some phone calls to professional groups and finally made my decision. I called Kenton Koszdin to be my expert advocate and help me wade through the SSDi swamp. Mr. Koszdin and his staff were absolutely wonderful and professional at all times (and Im probably not the easiest client to deal with...). They are experts and they handled ALL of my issues and paperwork instantly and with extreme professionalism; usually while I was still in panic mode... and, you KNOW what Im talking about. 6/23/2023 Kenton Kodzdin sat on my case for 3 years! When it came to Social security appeals Video Court - he called me and had no clue what my disabilities were? Few days before the Video Court he sent me an email reminding me of the court date! Day of Video Court he was more than 5 minutes late? He failed to consult me before my hearing and did not properly defend me! Had he shown any true interest in my case I would have had a more favorable result would have been achieved and I would have not lost everything I own or be homeless and disabled! He showed gross neglect and demonstrated legal malpractice to my case.AVOID THIS ATTORNEY! YOUR CASE IS LITERALLY IN DANGER OF FAILING!!What this attorney fails to mention, the person that Mr Koszdin passed me off to has had to ask for a Re-do meaning Mr Koszdin failed to even look into the case and provide the necessary information to the court! Important information that would have lean the Decision in my favor, such as the hand surgeon reporting I had early stages of Neuropathy! Mr Koszdin can bend the truth all he wants! But! Written statements can not be easily smooth over.

I walked into Kenton Koszdins office with contract and ready to finalize and proceed (minus the two pages that needed to have correction). I walked out deciding this was not the right lawyer to represent me.He had some concerns about why I was withholding my personal information (social security #) during our initial conversation before anything really was decided, mainly me trying to determine if I want this firm to represent me.When I tried to explain, he would raise his voice over mine, not really listening to my answer and yet dismissing them. Kenton Koszdin went from openly wondering if there is something that I was trying to hide to one point exclaiming that I am not worth that much to want to be secretive with my personal information!! as if you have to be a millionaire to be concerned about your critical personal information.I tried to explain why I am protective of my information and even tried to give him an example, but he couldnt be bothered, at one point saying, you are going to give me everything I ask you for; almost in a tone resembling a parent speaking to their child, or a police officer talking to a criminal.When it was decided this was not going to work and to part ways, Kenton Koszdin wouldnt give me the documents that I had signed back, nor would he give me back my personal documents that I had submitted to his receptionist, that had no signature on them, nor would he give me copies of any documents he had that I had signed. Kenton Koszdin said I am not going to give you anything and claimed Attorney-client privilege gave him the right to keep or not give back to me any documents he had of mine.Though I do not believe we had established any sort of relationship yet as he denied to represent me if I did not provide him with my Mothers maiden name. I had already put my SS# on his form/contract, along with every other information that was asked, but at this point I wasnt going to give this attorney my mothers maiden name, nor anything further, whether it be forms or information.When I pressed for copies, he said I am not going to give it to you, I suggested he can write void on the pages if necessary, he repeated I am not going to give you anything, then paused and continued... because I am going to rip them right now, and then he proceeded to rip our contract, or what I believe was our contract into three pieces in front of me.In the interaction I had with Kenton Koszdin I found him to be rude, abrasive and unprofessional. I found a totally different Kenton Koszdin than the one I spoke with on the phone.Also in the documents/contract that was prepared for me to review and sign, there were two pages that had their old address on them. Mistake(s), unprofessionalism and a whole lot of attitude - mainly by Kenton Koszdin, as his staff was kind and attentive. Mistakes happen, you can understand and excuse them (if corrected in time), attitude and unprofessionalism you cant.

Having to have gone through this experience while dealing with covid shutdowns as well as among many other life issues, without them, it would have never gone smoother. If you want the best chance of winning your case, you need to call Mr. Koszdin today. He is local, familiar with the judges, and very experienced in disability law. On cases he accepts, he is confident, prepared, determined, and focused.His response to my family members inquiry was very (very) rapid. He will tell you point blank yes or no, because he refuses to waste your time or his. Their hearing was in two months and he was on it. They refused to take my case for medicare and increased benefits through DAC. I desperately needed help, and they where rude and confusing on the phone. First I was told that I couldnt qualify against the advice of the best experts, then I was told simply they would not take my case. I called them desperate and in need of help and felt treated like garbage.Edit: another agency took my case, and there have been no problems. The other reviews on this page seem to be for a radically different company; be careful who you trust online. I am dying of a serious condition, and had a horrible experience reaching out to this office that has made lasting damage in my life.

If you need a SS Lawyer Koszdin Law is the firm you should pick. I thought I wont need a Lawyer how hard can it be. Well after being denied twice, I figured it is a lot harder then it appears. Koszdin Law took all the stress associated with being legally illiterate. They handled all the paper work. If I had questions or concerns they answered or addressed them immediately. Very professional over the phone, seemed confident.The day of the disability hearing, he looked over the papers and was totally confused. The problem was, the paperwork he submitted to the hearing and the conditions he argued for were the wrong ones, and when we were eventually denied he declined to help us and gave us the number of a different professional, who also declined.I had to submit paperwork on my own, but the mistake cost us the case and we can no longer appeal. I bitterly regret hiring Koszdin, but the best I can say is that it didnt cost me anything.

I filed for SSDI in February, 2018 and was denied in August, 2018. Thats when I hired Kenton Koszdin to file my appeal. Thank God I did! From the time I hired Kenton either he or his angel of an office manager, Jenny, would be in touch from time to time to make sure I kept them informed of any new doctors, treatments or prescriptions. Whenever I was worried about one thing or another (and I was pretty scared over a year and a half) I could always call the office and if Kenton wasnt available, Jenny was always there to talk me down off the roof. It wasnt until October, 2019 that I was notified by Social Security that I finally had an appeal hearing date for January, 2020. My appeal hearing was one week away when I got a call from Jenny. (Kenton also tried to call me but Jenny got through first) She told me she had good news, I didnt have to go to my hearing. Social Security had just called to let them know that the judge had decided in my favor! And just like that it was over! I dont know what Kenton did, I only know that I gave him everything he asked for and he did the rest. I wish I could give them 100 stars!

Problem with lawyers who work on a contingency basis is that youre made to feel as if youre being interviewed or going through a filtering process for their representation. The advice was very counterintuitive (incorrect) which I researched. I recently have been on Unemployment for 1 month prior to that I was on unemployment for 5 months which was during this Covid crisis. I never have been on Unemployment until this year. Ive worked for over 20 years. Federal laws stipulate you have to have minimum 5 years of work for the last 10 years to be eligible. I guess legal documents from lawyers with diagnosis and other substantial evidence doesnt justify his expertise. Only good thing I could say is he gave me a recommendation for a place but he was more of a talking and not listening or listening and not caring lawyer. He must not need the business.
