I was having a difficult time finding a lawyer to take my disability discrimination case. When I first talked to Mike about my case I knew they were the right lawyers for me. Unfortunately, after what I felt was a wrong done to me by my employer. I found myself in need an Employment Law Attorney, after speaking with my neighbor (who is in the legal profession) I was referred to the Kent | Pincin Law firm. Please realize, going into this (going up against a big company) I was extremely apprehensive, feeling powerless and a bit overwhelmed by the prospects of defending myself and protecting my rights as a member of the California workforce, against such odds. But after speaking with Michael and Emily, I felt hopeful they made no promises but agreed to review the details of the complaint (of the wrong done to me) that I filed with the California EDD. After the review Michael and Emily agreed to take my case and represent my interests in resolving this issue. After speaking with the both of them I felt reassured and confident that they could prevail, I felt very safe with them. In the end they represented my interests very well, they were tough in representing my interests in the negotiations and would not be steamed rolled into accepting a low ball offer. I am very satisfied with every aspect of their representation of my interests and the conclusion of my case. I can now move forward with my life and career. If you want an attorney that is quick to the punch. Give you strategy and not ambiguity, more personal experience and not a cog in some large firm machine, I recommend Michael Kent. If he can’t help, he knows who can.

Mike was my attorney for a whistleblower/retaliation employment law case. For 3 years Mike was intimately involved in my case. My employment situation developed over the course of 8 months. I trusted Mike with guiding the path to settlement. He knew the facts of the case just as well as I did, having them happen to me. He studied and learned the multiple events, understanding the relationship between players and their involvement. He prepped me for multiple depositions and assisted me through various responses to written questions from the defendant. No words can describe the admiration I have for Michael Kent. I had a serious injury that led to my termination from a company that I loved working for. This led me down a path of depression that lasted years not to mention the physical pain that I was feeling. I felt like my life was over. Unable to walk, use the restroom, shower without assistance, eat and all other activities that we engage in daily that we take for granted was taken from me. I felt so hopeless and helpless. I started to seek legal counsel because I believed in my heart that how I was treated was not ethical and consistent with the company’s normal business practices. My first attorney I had was a referral from an acquaintance. He took my case and ended up doing literally nothing. After almost 2 years, he disappeared and I was unable to reach him. I sought out 3 additional attorneys after that who refused to take my case because the potential payout would not be worth there time. I felt very low and did not understand no one wanted to help me. I understand the business aspect of it but how about the human aspect of it? I decided to try one last time to find legal representation and somehow found Michael Kent.
