Neil is hands down the best real estate broker I have ever met. He makes the process easy. Really fights for you as a client, and is the most honest broker out there - giving you great advise on when to buy, and when not too.Unlike most agents who take on mass clients in which you are just a number, Neil provides great attention to each individual, matching the market to their needs.When I tell people about him, I refer to him as a full service broker. Because that is what he is. There for you every step of the process, looking out not for himself, but you as an individual. I highly recommend Neil to anyone looking to buy their dream home, trying to fulfill their dreams in life.

We’ve been a client of Kensington & Beverly when they were a private firm, not open to the public, and really enjoyed the premium and exclusive service and attention. Neil Rain Persad, the broker for Kensington & Beverly is well known in the affluent circles of business owners and executives in the U.S. He recently sold our estate in record time for far over asking, with multiple offers. As a high value property, there are only a small group of people that would be able to complete the purchase. As a well educated and connected Brit, he has a Rolodex of local and international high profile buyers. He brought in a world class interior decorator that works with various royal families to oversee the staging, and was able to secure our up-leg property early on in escrow l, and balanced both sides perfectly. We’ve worked with other top agents before, and none compare. It’s all smoke and mirrors and reality TV. Neil is the real deal and will continue to oversee all our family’s real estate affairs. I know he doesn’t take on every client, so if you’re fortunate to be a client, you’ll be in the best possible hands. We were introduced to Neil through a friend in Beverly Hills who had previous used many of the high end brokers in LA. Her prior experiences weren’t good. What I was hearing about the other big name brokers was that once you sign and list with them, they lack attention, availability, and are too busy to respond or address your needs. The trend is, once you sign, they pass you off to assistants who handle things, and there is a huge communication breakdown in their process with too many cooks in the kitchen. You end up repeating yourself 2 or 3 times and the agent/broker has no idea what’s going on.She confronted one of them about her listing sitting on the market without activity, and he assailed her with legal threats. She was scared to even cancel the listing. She eventually got her attorney to cancel the listing with this “Agency,” and he also suggested using Neil Rain Persad at Kensington & Beverly. Our friend sang his praises, and stated that of all the brokers and agents she’s been through, none compare. He was the only broker she’d ever met that actually truly cared about her, and also had the process and network to get the property sold.Having a recommendation like this from someone whose been around the block with brokers and agents in LA was invaluable. The referral to Neil/ Kensington & Beverly exceeded any expectation we could have ever had.With 3 kids, our Hollywood Hills home wasn’t ready for the public. He brought in a team of people to evaluate our home, and staged it beautifully. My wife cried when she saw it. We almost didn’t want to move! Needless to say, we got 19 offers, 10 all cash, $1.8m over asking, and closed quickly. We were nervous as we had to also find our perfect home in Beverly Hills flats, and inventory was limited. Within days, we viewed 7 serious considerations. All were great, 2 off-market that the public hadn’t seen, and one that we loved. Of course, the one we loved had another offer, and they didn’t have a contingency of sale. Neil negotiated and locked the property for us. We’ve been in the home for 3 years now and the thing I really appreciate was his team of people to make sure the property was sound. We had no surprises, and were aware of everything that needed attention.I’ve never written a review this long before, and it’s been a long time coming, but this guy is the one you want if you’re selling a high-end home or making a luxury purchase. Our friend was right. Nobody in the luxury market compares when it comes to service and ability.

When we decided to purchase our home in 2008 Neil was a true blessing. He was patient, kind, and generous with two first time buyers. We knew nothing, had a wild list of must-haves, and our tastes were all over the map. Neil listened, interpreted, and shepherded us through the process. He will always be our ‘real estate guy’ should we ever decide to make a change.
