Dr. Buch is very smart and is therefore an excellent diagnostician. He also spends the time necessary with me to make sure I understand his diagnosis and treatment. And his staff is very responsive to my questions and concerns. I give Dr. Buch five stars.
Office staff is very friendly and efficient. Theres almost never a wait. The doctor is very experienced and knowledgeable, perhaps slightly arrogant, which unfortunately is true with most doctors. So this would put him in the better than average category. I would refer others with some suggestions and cautious tips.

Dr. Buch is a great. He made me feel very comfortable discussing the problems I was having. I was a new patient but he had reviewed all my health history and lab results from my previous Dr. prior to seeing me. Dr. Buch saved my life. About a year ago I went to him for some Gastro challenges. When I told him my family history, he strongly suggested an MRI with dye.Long story short, they found a renal carcinoma and it was successfully removed surgically because of how early it was found. Had I waited another couple of years, or not had the input from a wise Dr. I would not be here to write this. He is thorough and to the point. Great physician!

I have some pretty serious GI issues and was with another gastroenterologist before I came to see Dr. Buch.I was feeling hopeless and scared because the previous doctor would never just talk to me. He just pushed pills at me and shooed me away.Dr. Buch is an answered prayer. He sat down with me and listened to my concerns. He kept saying anymore questions or anything else I should know. Making sure I got all my concerns and questions out and acknowledged. Even after all the time we spent talking, he still took his time to examine me physically. I went to see Dr. Buch on a refferal and it was one of the best refferals to solving years of digestive issues after visiting several Gastro Docs!After doing several blood test Dr Buch determind I had a low level enzye in my pancreas which was 130 and should be at least 200: immediately prescribed Creon capsules to be taken at least 4 times daily.After about amonth I had a 80% reduction of prior gastro issues!Thanks Dr Buch

I was admitted to the hospital through the emergency room not knowing why my stomach hurt & I was unable to eat and hold any food down. Dr Buch was called in and he immediately performed tests & was able to diagnose the problem. He treated me with the newest procedure via endoscopy, avoiding an open surgical procedure and lengthy recovery. I was home after one day, rested over the weekend and was back to my normal self and schedule on the following Monday! When I reached the age when colonoscopies are recommended, I went to Dr Buch. I would highly recommend Dr Kenneth Buch as a gastroenterologist. His staff is also very kind & helpful.
Dr. Buch is a good doctor. However, he needs better staff. They dont know how to answer phone calls or return calls when you leave a message for the doctor. They dont even call you if you have bad lab results, which can be life threatening in some instances. I really liked Dr. Buch, but I am utterly disappointed with their customer service and professionalism.

When I called Dr Buch office I was so impressed with the receptionist named Rose who took my call she was absolutely wonderful and has a excellent personality she made me feel really comfortable calling, and I was also very impressed at her overall knowledgeable about any questions I had about the office services provided and my insurance questions I had they were all answered to my 100% satisfaction and she let me know how great the doctor is as well.. . Dr. Buch presented a thorough and detailed recommendation on how my diverticulosis should be treated. My case was complicated by the fact that my colonic bleeding episodes were aggravated by the blood thinners which I was taking to treat my A-fib. Dr Buch ordered a nuclear imagery scan in the hospital which located the source of my bleed and also identified a potential lethal aortic aneurysm of which I was not aware! They couldnt figure out how to book a surgery center that was in my network. Subsequently, I never did get the colonoscopy I originally came in for. Not only that, they mis-coded the insurance claim TWICE. Now Im on the hook to pay for the consultation that never resulted in the procedure I came in for.Condescending doctor. Amazing physician. A physicians doctor. Dr. Buch is kind, caring, smart and clearly loves what he does.
Listened to me and explained my problem and suggested solutions.
They put me on hold for 10 minutes and they dont respond to my pharmacy refill requests. I have to chase them every time I need to refill my prescription.
I am a patient and find that dr buch as a lot of patience with me and is a perfectionist at his craft.
Friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor taking the time to learn of my personal/family health history in preparation for my procedure.
I have seen Dr.Buch for several years and have never had a bad experience. Always treated professionally.

2024-05-17 18:51:40Dr Buch was recommended by my PCP for my first colonoscopy. The appointment process was a breeze, they sent the forms prior to the appointment. Alex the assistant was friendly and helpful . Dr Buch was very thorough and explained the procedure well . Procedure is next month and I’m sure that will be a good experience as well . He has very good bedside manners .

Since then Ive received added very helpful advice & suggestions from Dr. Buchs Staff Nurse Alex, via my telephone calls to her at the Office, through the week of Jan. 12th, 2024. During several of my calls Alex consulted with Dr. Buch for his advice, but on other calls, she very readily was able to answer my questions and provide helpful suggestions with remedies for my concerns.Allan Levine, Ph. He is my new GI doctor for few months, Dr. Buch did order a copy of prior procedures, lab results, cardiology result, new test (to roll out some issues) and got a big picture of my health status and discussed with me. We have discussed my concerns and came up with consensus to pursue plan. All said, I rate Dr. Buch and his crew as A plus.
