All I did was chat and email with these guys, but their advice was priceless and they responded quickly. Gave me some info to fight with a used car dealer that was trying to jerk me around, it was nice to have some knowledge to fight with them and luckily I got the refund I was due. Cant comment on anything other than that, but they were very helpful and if I ever need a lemon lawyer I know where to go.

After having a vehicle with multiple problems that lead it into the dealership more than a handful of times, I reached out to Kaufman and Kavicky to help with the situation. They took on my case and worked on my behalf to get a resolution with the car manufacturer. I will admit that I was a little skeptical at first since all communication is done via email. I had bought a 4-year-old used truck from a small mom and pop dealership. The transmission blew the 2nd day I owned the truck and was in and out of the shop for the next 4 months. I was told by numerous law firms that my truck did not meet the criteria to go through the lemon law process due to numerous different factors. I reached out to Kaufman & Kavicky and they informed me that not only DID my truck meet the criteria, but they were confident that they could win the lawsuit against Ford Motor Company and accepted my case. The entire process took quite a few months but they did in-fact win the lawsuit. The outcome being that Ford paid off the entire financed amount, I received every single dollar back that was associated with that truck IE: initial down payment, monthly payments, interest paid, rental car fees ect. The whole Kaufman & Kavicky team was very responsive and answered all questions and concerns in a very timely manner.

I had purchased new car and one of the seats started wearing out in less than a year. I took it to the dealership and had the seat repaired under warranty. When I went to pick up my vehicle I found a different completely taken apart and not put back together. I was told to come back later to replace parts they broke on another seat. This went back and forth six times over the course of a year. The seat issue started to get worse with each repair. Bolts and screws were missing and clips were broken. Thats when I decided to contact Kaufman and Kavicky. They helped me in the past with another vehicle at a different dealership. They helped me get a settlement that allowed me to trade the car in for a different one. There were times when I didnt feel safe letting passengers rid with me because the seat was not completely attached.

Scott and his team did a great job making Samsung meet their obligations when I had a (too) expensive refrigerator fail after 2 years of ownership (and many repair calls). Samsung gave me the run-around for months. I handed off to Scott and his firm, and he got Samsung to fully refund the fridge cost and haul the broken fridge away. And, I didnt have to talk to Samsung again! Unfortunately it was in and out of the repair shop repeatedly in the first three months of ownership.I asked that the manufacturer take the motorcycle back from me, as it was clearly a lemon. Scott has just helped me win my lemon car case, and the manufacture bought back my lemon car at the original price. I was so frustrated when my car broke down so many times and I wasted lots of time dealing with the dealership to fix it. I also tried to deal with the manufacturer myself to qualify my car as a lemon, but they had really bad attitude and wouldnt do anything about it. I did not hire this firm, HOWEVER, I did have an excellent experience dealing with them. My case was not a cookie cutter lemon case, but nonetheless, a case worthy considering. In the end, I was able to resolve it on my own through the manufacturer for a full refund. I called several attorneys and was appalled at some of the responses, the arrogance, and frankly, lack of compassion. This firm and another were wonderful. First, Scott is an expert. After three years of extreme frustration of trying to work directly with the manufacturer of my new car with no results, I finally looked up and read about the Lemon Law and wondered if by any slight possibility my car was covered. I called Kaufman & Kavicky about a dealership that sold me a car without a smog check but charged me for it at the sale. I wasn’t able to renew my registration for months, the dealership didn’t have a resolution except for me to smog it and they would reimburse me. I got nowhere. When I figured out the dealership had done this to many buyers, was when I decided to get help. My first contact with the firm was with Scott, and he was a big help, willing to listen and answer my questions thoroughly. After spending our hard earned (and many years) of savings on our dream truck and investing thousands in how we needed it to be for our profession we discovered it was a lemon. We were distraught beyond belief. After getting nothing but the run around from Dodge for months we decided it was time to seek professional and expertise legal assistance from someone that specialized in lemon law. I worked with the Kaufman law firm to settle a claim against VW USA for and Audi A-3 Etron. While the process was quite lengthy I really appreciated the fact that I was informed of the progress at each stage and was told what to expect. Try not to listen to people who tell you to go directly through GM (or any other automotive manufacturer) for a buy-back on a car you feel is a lemon. The help you will get with these Lemon Lawyers and the entire staff (think Breana) is well worth the wait. Be patient, GM took many months to settle, thats just the way they are (no surprise there). The California Lemon Lawyers will hold your hand, guide you, answer your emails. You will have a success story like I did. Be patient.

Wasted months of my time on a case they didnt want to see to the end... because they didnt read the intake notes at to the desired outcome. If they didnt want the case they should have not taken it, or continued to take the case since they agreed to it. Communications often took many days and were disorganized, as I had to explain the entire situation many times.
