2024-07-01 03:51:57The food is very good. Also, I loved the atmosphere and the music the DJ was playing was fire🔥👌🎶 very chill relax beats, just how I like it. It made me feel like I was in a high-end restaurant in Mexico, the type of restaurant I enjoy for a date or special occasion. The night was cold (in summer time) but they gave us some mexican blankets and set up a mobile heater next to us 👌

2024-05-15 01:31:07Super nice ambience - felt like I was in Tulum bc of food. Brilliant customer service. The servers all had uplifting positive energy! Food was excellent and my drink was so good. I forgot the name but it has sage burning on the top.Must go! I was going to rate it a 4 bc my group wanted to take pics in the arch which is no longer there and they felt the portions were too small. I loved it but the men in my family like large portions and lots of meat.

2024-06-02 15:09:29Wow, what a night to remember! Kateen Hollywood exceeded our expectations in every way. Big shout out to Giovanny, our fantastic server, who recommended the incredible Luna Verde Cocktail and the mouthwatering pork Cochinita Pibil - both were absolute highlights! But what truly made our evening special was the exceptional service. Christina, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel at home, personally visiting our table to ensure everything was perfect. And a huge thank you to Ivanna, the hostess, who expertly handled our reservation and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with a touch of Hollywood glamour. The food was outstanding, with each dish more delicious than the last. But it was the people that truly made Kateen Hollywood shine.Thank you, Giovanny, Christina, and Ivanna, for an unforgettable night. We cant wait to come back and experience it all again!Five stars arent enough - Kateen Hollywood deserves ten!

2024-04-14 05:15:20The atmosphere of this place was just wauw!We were there last Tuesday, so made use of the $14 margaritas (get the mango one!) and some non standard tacos they only serve on Tuesdays. We started with the ceviche and got the Baja fish tacos and the pork belly ones. The fish ones were amazing!

2024-04-09 17:00:29What a magical place! Fire dancers, drinks with Smokey incense on top, tropical jungle vibesSeriously feels so dreamyThe drinks are some of the most unique I’ve seen and awesome variations of spicy cocktails which are like my favoriteGabriella our waitress was super sweet! So the food is what got me a little, the ceviche was yummy but it’s just a tiny tostada and served on a plate with stones (which could be a huge liability because someone could think they’re edible when they’re not) and also if any ceviche fell off the tostada it was wasted since it fell in between the stones so only got like 2 small bites each for an almost $30 appetizer 😖Then ok so I am quite particular with my meats (no bones, pork, lamb, heads, etc etc) and everything on the small menu was something like thatSo I ended up getting the pollo asada which tasted delicious as I didn’t encounter many bones so that was coolAnd tortillas were homemade and reminded me of my childhood so I loved thatAnd they have pickled onions which are also my favoriteThe sauces were also quite interesting with the rib eye (which was melt in your mouth but quite small)Both are like mole type sauces which I didn’t like growing up but I really liked here! Not something I’d normally make but a very unique Smokey almost southwest tasteIf they would only add some chicken breast or carne asada type dishes to the menu then it’d be perfectI am happy I live nearby because I would love to come back for some more drinks!

2023-12-10 14:24:18I came here with very very high expectations, but I can’t say I was completely satisfied in the end. Really amazing place and atmosphere, seems to be in Mexico for real, it’s all outdoor (thank you LA weather!)I had kampachi crudo and tacos fritos as starters and they were really really good.As main pollo asado and then papas bravas.Pollo could have been much better, inadequate to the caliber of the restaurant, average dish I’d say.Special mention for the margarita, simply amazing, I’d have drunk many of them. Very good place but I’d come here again for drinks and snacks. Staff is very welcoming, kind and prepared. Anyway worth to try

2024-06-25 16:00:37Located next to Desert 5 spot the restaurant/bar has fantastic Mexican food. You’ll find the bar to the right of the restaurants entrance. Drink prices range from $16-$20 and the dinner menu prices are little more on the pricey side. But the taste more than makes up for it! The portions are also very generous.

2023-07-18 21:30:30Really nicely designed and inviting (mostly outside) restaurant space. Service is good and staff professional and smartly dressed. Very lush and green with great lighting for nighttime. While we found the food good, it was not great. Also the food was not presented or platted with much care, given the prices this really shouldnt be the case. I would suggest this as a place for a drink but not for the food.

2023-07-01 01:01:07Took my nephew for his 19th birthday and it was such a great atmosphere and the food was amazing! And I love the fact that they gave him dessert for his birthday as well. I would definitely visit again the only thing is a parking sucks I think $30 to park in a lot.
