Recently my cars transmission went out. I called Freddy from Karz plus since he hooked me up with my last car. I received excellent service and I decided to go to him again for another car. Freddy was still there and he went above and beyond even sending a comfort uber to pick me up and get me from San Diego to Escondido. I was treated like a queen! He worked out a fantastic deal for me,even though my credit is not good! You cant go wrong with this guy! Im 74yrs old so I know when someone has your best interest at heart!! You need a car? Sold us a lemon, we have put more work into the car than it is worth and we only had it for 2yrs. Had to get new tires, new rotors, new transmission, it overheats, the air worked for a month. We brought the car back a few times and they kept doing the minimum to fix it. The system malfunctions every now and then, the list goes on.

From the initial inquiry to the final steps of the contract, in between the timeline we were given a loaner vehicle.It cant get any better than that. Eddie took care of us from the start to finish with swift communication we were given a sweet deal on a 2015 VW. I had a concern with the alignment of the vehicle and sure enough Eddie took control of the concern and given a loaner vehicle throughout the time the vehicle was at mechanic. I recommend this dealership to the viewers. Eddie is a trustworthy, reliable, honest person and is also a great salesman. Thank you Eddie

I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to this place. They have given me 2 cars in the last 11 months with failing transmissions and EDDIE SPECIFICALLY insists that it’s the company that serviced my car. Not to mention putting me in a loaner vehicle that had expired Panda Express in the back seat and scraping windshield wipers during the rainy season. This place is horrible. You’re better off getting a car from the police auction or Facebook market.

Sales guy is okay, but he doesnt really know much about the cars on the lot. I was mislead about the car I bought. Verbally assaulted by the manager/supervisor when I canceled the contract. Not sure what he expected, but luckily I was raised properly, so I didnt escalate the situation. Better go to a reputable company.

Edited: But had to change my rating because my car went dead 4 days after purchase jeronimo was very helpful offered to put a new battery, but when we talk to the finance manager and ask for some type of compensation for have having to catch a lyft for 2 days just after purchasing the car. He was very dismissive, argumentative, and just the worst to deal with. He told me I cant take no. And he did me a favor by putting a replacement battery in. Even though I have a year warranty. Would not recommend anymore honestly I left on tears

Jesus Rodriguez knows exactly the type of vehicle I like and how picky I am. Horrible place to purchase a car from. It was a lemon from the get. Our engine seized on us not even a year after purchase. We had to pay thousands to fix the motor on top of another thing wrong with it that will cost another couple thousand. I do not recommend this place at all. I will recommend Karz Plus to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. My family felt taken care of from start to finish and beyond. Ive never received such A class treatment from a dealership. Perhaps if you are purchasing a Mercedes or Lexus, you might expect the level of treatment we received, but we just bought a used Nissan Leaf, not a new Mercedes! We love our car, and when we are ready for another, we will be back to Karz Plus. I worked directly with Jesus and the owner, Ryan, but spoke with Freddy on the phone often and everyone else there was accommodating, patient, and just overall amazing as well!

Went to Karz Plus to look for a car, did a test drive an finally negotiated and agreed on a price. I paid the full amount and agreed to come back the next day so the car could be detailed. When I went back two days later, I was told that someone messed up and I needed to pay another 600 dollar on top of the agreed price. I refused off course and the deal was off. NOT a way to do business!!They also could of told me on the phone that the agreed price wouldnt be honoured and saved me the trip. I would not trust anything they say..

I had the pleasure of visiting Karz Plus and meeting Alex, he was an absolute professional from the introduction to the contract signing. He said hello with a smile and asked what I was looking for rather than selling me something. I went there pre-approved, I initially wanted the Chevy Equinox in the lot but he was upfront with me about the quality and what other prospective buyers have said about what seemed to be a loose engine bracket. After sitting down and starting the engine I realized he was right! He directed me toward a Ford Edge that I had taken a look at, to which he mentioned his family member had driven the car and stated how smooth it felt. I chose to drive the Edge and by the time I got back from a pleasing drive he was waiting outside. He knocked off some money for my status as a veteran as well, pretty awesome. Ryan, the owner of the dealership was also very polite. We had gone to Karz Plus in National City and they directed us up, the salesman at that dealership tried to claim the commission. They have great customer service and friendly staff. I gave them this rating as I have had quite a few issues with this car. I purchased a 2012 Chrysler 300. These are very good vehicles so I did not worry about anything, When I drove the vehicle off the lot there was a violent shaking of the steering wheel. Come to find out that the front brakes and rotors were bad. Karz plus did have them replaced so I felt good about that. Then I noticed that the front window was leaking, and they had to fixed that. Then when I went to use the window washer it was not spraying. I had filled up the washer fluid to see if that was the issue, come to find out that the lines to the window washer had fallen apart, and the sprayers were not hooked up as they had rotted away. Then a week later I found that there we 2 recalls, the alternator and an airbag sensor issue. The Chrysler dealer fixed these items, but I feel this should have been fixed before the selling of the car, and just 2 days ago the airbag light came on. Again they are nice folks and have great customer service. But buyer beware. Had I known all these issues I would have passed on this beautiful car.

Bought my first ever, a 2016 Ford Focus from Karz Plus Escondido. When speaking to the sales person I specifically said I was looking for something reliable that will last me because I’m paying a lot of money for it. 1 month and 26 days into ownership the car won’t go past 11mph and my 2nd 4th 6th and Reverse gears all no longer work. Got it towed to Ford of Escondido and was told it needs a whole new 6 thousand dollar transmission. I payed $10,000 BEFORE interest and this car already needs 6 thousand dollars haha. STAY AWAY FROM CARZ PLUS IF YOU WANT YOUR CAR TO LAST YOU!!!Update: had the owner Ryan contact me and apologize for the inconvenience. I ended up towing my car from ford Escondido to bens auto in Escondido. Car was at shop for about 3 days. Got my car back and it fortunately runs and drives again but still feel problems with the used transmission that was put in. I plan on buying an extended warranty and hoping it’ll last me as long as possible. Maybe it was just the car I decided to get. Atleast management is somewhat caring, thanks Ryan !

Update I see they are under new management. I’m glad they helped me and worked with my credit as I was trying to rebuild it. I took the day off work to talk to the dealership and asked them many questions like do you inspect & how, do you have a CarFax (which was sent), said I can pay this much and they offered lower and said I can just pay double and help my credit more. I thought “wahoo” this is great! Pre-approved so pick up my kids all excited and show up......to them not even having the keys 🤷‍♀️ Ok that’s fine things happen but 45 min+ keys show up and entire time sales guy was on the phone and did not accommodate us at all. So instead they wanted to go over paperwork. I understand they approved my bad credit and gave a lower price then listed but all it was the entire time I DID talk to sales guy was about making the sale. Dude how can you even push this if I can’t even look or sit inside yet 🤦‍♀️. So then we finally take a test drive and 3 blocks away turn around and come back. Why? Because oil light kept blinking and tire air sensor was on, oh don’t forget the back shocks are toast, then when turned to pull out originally was grinding. The grinding may have been the pavement idk but we addressed the problem and said “hey this and this happened get it looked at and figure it out” and “your driver from a location drove this car from a 40 min drive and must have seen the light and said nothing” how can you trust that? Ok, they offered to have it looked at by next day and have us buy it lol. Well I’m sure that will be a savvy fix 🤣 obviously has a bad oil pump and low on oil, needs a easy service or something major. No the car was not inspected because those fluids would have been checked. We work on cars and are not idiots. I am happy they actually approved me which gives the 2* but for reals don’t act stupid. Be a civil human being and say SORRY for the inconvenience of not having the key for an hour, issues that approached and being on the phone while we had to wait. I had the cash in my wallet to pay the entire car off in full but i wanted to build my credit. The purpose of going to a car dealership not personal person. I appreciate the time taking out but please people put people in your shoes!!!! Don’t drag me in circles with 3 kids looking for a reliable car and try and sell me something with issues needing addressed for the safety of my kids! Common since! Words cant even describe the miracles Glenn Flores works for people over at Karz Plus in Escondido. I am in the car business and have tons of friends who frequently come to me for a vehicle purchase. But like many other families in this day and age some have bad credit or little to no money down. I simply refer them to Glenn over at Karz Plus when I cant get them approved on a car loan. With in 45 minutes of them seeing Glenn they are on the road in a new car! Glenn you rock!!! I wouldnt recommend anyone else other than Glenn!

Bought a ford explorer from them. the motor blew with in 4 days. the put a new motor in it. fixed the a/c as promised when buying car. i would recommend them to everyone.. almost forgot O got s nice little loner car plus we have not even made 1st payment and they gave us basically 2 months of free car payments. truley an awesome company.

Fred was outstanding he helped with anything we needed and was very honest and made our time there very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend this dealership but mainly Fred. I will be back in a few months and definitely will be requesting Fred as my salesman!
