So upon walking in we were greeted immediately.We noticed that the decor has changed and asked why.Apparently this location got bought out. And will no longer be Kalaveras branded. And the whole menu will be changing from my understand. However we asked about taco Tuesday specials and their Sunday brunch specials etc.They said those are all going to stay. Great news!Moving onto the food and everything else.Mole enchiladas.One chicken and one cheese.The shredded chicken was moist. And seasoned well.Cheese was melted goodTheir mole sauce? whoa! Was not expecting how amazing it tasted. The right amount of savory, sweet. Without being overly rich in flavor. I HIGHLY recommend their mole on anything lol.Rice and beans.Both cooked properly. No hard pieces of old rice of any kind.Queso birria tacos.WHOA. Their birria is marinated to perfection.Comes with avocado ( thats different ) trust me it works well together, onions, cilantro and pickled onion.The broth is amazing this whole dish is fantastic.So heres the thing. The food was excellent!Decor was great. Seating options fantastic.The only reason I didnt give 5 is for a simple reason.Service.The service was outstanding from the get go.But then it just slowed down and lacked quite a bit.I had to ask someone who wasnt our server to help.Which they did so all good. But I thought Id mention it.Would I recommend this place? Definitely!I highly recommend it. You wont disappointed.

Enjoyed our waiter and drinks, more than the food. Our waiter Tony, and other staff, provided excellent service and were very attentive.I ordered a spicy cucumber lime margarita. Loved it! Not too spicy or sweet.I had a carne asada wet burrito. It’s large enough to feed 2 people. Unfortunately, it was stuffed with too much rice! I selected half red and half green salsa over the burrito, and I preferred the green salsa.I was charged extra for extra salsa, but it would’ve been nice to know it was an extra charge prior to ordering.

Food was delicious, ceviche was super fresh. Really enjoyed the cheesy shrimp enchiladas.Our server was phenomenal. The group all liked their cocktails.Be warned… this was the LOUDEST restaurant I’ve ever been to. Our table of 7 had a hard time talking, but it was a fun atmosphere.

I was on my way home from L.A. and was craving a local Mexican joint to try out. I came across this place on Yelp/Google and decided to give it a go, my first impression is I thought it was appealing because of its club-like look.There was no waiting, we literally walked in and we were seated right away. The classic chips & salsa were brought to our table right away. I kinda thought they would have something out of the ordinary but it was all common dishes. I ordered Wine & a Wet Burrito, not bad.I noticed they were playing music videos so I decided to ask if they could play “TITI ME PREGUNTO” by BAD BUNNY. Kalaveras was an awesome experience. We had mostly drinks and some taquitos, the food was delicious, the drinks were strong and refreshing and service was on point. Our server was efficient and made no mistakes in taking orders. I wish I remembered her name.

Tried this new restaurant for Easter. There was quite a great variety of food. My favorite was the Chilaquiles bar. They also had an omelette bar and a taco bar. Definitely will go back I love a Sunday brunch and they’re hard to find in the inland Empire.

Phenomenal tacos, mezcals and a great happy hour going until 7pm (Mo-Th I think). Vibe is fun and energizing. On top of the food and atmosphere, the service was great.We stayed for 3.5 hours from dinner to late evening. It was one of those nights 😅

Very festive spot but more so for a celebration or a group of people, it gets freaking loud and the variety of music was reggaeton, thats it!The appetizers and cocktail prices all seemed high for the type of food and portions. We ordered queso fundido and taquitos. The margarita sampler was fun and probably my favorite part.I appreciate the presentation and art murals, they were all beautiful and bright, youre surrounded by vivid colors.

Food tasted good and the service was great however multiple people in my party felt sick after eating here. We all had diarrhea and still do over a week later. Not sure what caused this but I would be cautious eating here. We had the sushi so maybe that was the culprit.

I was here for the Sunday brunch buffet. I was not aware that during this time, you could not order from the menu. We were already hungry, so we decided to try it out. The only good thing about the buffet is that they have a station for omelets and they make you chilaquiles. The taco station was not something to look forward to. All the meet choices had a lot of oil. Some of the choices are not bad, but I wouldnt recommend it to my friends. I wish I could give a better 🌟 rating, but I want people to fully know what they get into.

The food and drinks were delicious. You wouldnt expect sushi at a Mexican restaurant to be good, but it was absolutely amazing (though rolled very large and a little difficult to eat lol). The queso birria was absolutely soaked in the way its supposed to be and the flavors were excellent.I was less thrilled about the volume of the music. While the selections were fun and upbeat, they were also very loud. It made it difficult to carry on a conversation. On top of that, they walked around with $10 (very tasty) shots accompanied by strobe lights and a noisemaker/ratchet. It would be a challenging environment for people easily overstimulated and more so for our epileptic friends.

Okay at first I didn’t expect this restaurant to be in a shopping center, directions weren’t to clear on goggle maps… Hostess was not that kind when we had explained we were stuck in traffic and we were on our way with 10 guest reservations that were made 2 months ago.. so I suggest hostess to get more training. When we arrived we got seated in a corner spot and had to gather the tables together..This should’ve happened before arrival. Mind you we called 4 times reassuring we were on are way. I give 4 stars due to this. But other then that food was great warm, flavorful and great portions. Drinks were good as well and the music was on point. Overall had a great birthday experience here. And they were able to fit all my 14 guest although we were 10 min late due to a freeway accident.

The waitress we had on July 30th, she went above and beyond and was very nice. If you bring a friend, they make a huge production out of it, it was cute and definitely loud. 3 Star Review only because our server was great. Kalaveras is a good place for an occasional night out without the drive. Food is good, drinks can also be good. Their serving portions are generous. We have been 3 or 4 times now, Im not sure if I had not noticed before but this last visit I was charged an 18% Service Fee! After the service fee and tip, we were well over $400 for 3 individuals. That 18% Service Fee is seriously outrageous for a place like this, we liked it here however with an 18% service fee, there are several other options only a few minutes away.

2 stars because the food was really good! Downfalls #1 they give you small portions. #2 over charged/ prices are incorrect online.I googles online to look at a menu and it brings up post mates. I ended up calling only because I had to substitute something but I had an idea of what my total should be. When I arrived to pick up my total was $10 more and when I inquired the waitress didn’t know and all she said was I think our prices went up I’m not sure. The lady waiting next to me had the same issues so just be aware of the pricing when you pay.

So found this place and was Super excited when we got our drinks and food. Both were amazing!!! But… the bartender decided to light a MASSIVE amount of incense (old fashion as the manager called it) setting off a horrible asthma attack!!!I guess it is an old tradition that they have if someone orders a certain drink but if you have ANY kind of breathing issues do NOT attend. 😢The building is WAY TOO SMALL for smoke like this to be inhaled by all if it’s patrons. Thank god I had my nebulizer in my car.So sad because I was enjoying an amazing dinner and drinks and definitely didn’t want to leave because of poor health hazards!

Went here for my 40th Birthday Dinner. Jared the host did his best to accommodate my 20 guests since they dont do reservations. I was a little worried but we all got seated together. Our waiter was super patient and on it with his service. The drinks were yummy and food was average. The atmosphere was amazing we had a blast they were playing all the jams and we kept ordering drinks so pretty much we turned it into a club ourselves. Lol One for the books for sure. Will go back and definitely recommend 😎

Kalaveras customer service was horrible.For what we paid, customer service should be exceptional. It felt rushed. The waiter kept leaving in the middle of taking our order to join the other servers sing Happy birthday to someone. Hed come back afterwards and there he went again leaving to sing to another table. It took him 3 times around to take our tables order. There was 7 of us. Not to mention the drink order was taken in 2 trips and arrived 15-20 apart to still have to flag another server of 1 drink that was forgotten.Didnt have an issue with it as we were talking to each other. But when he came to us and said that his manager has a time limit on the table of 1 hour 1/2 and a half thats where we drew the line. We spent more time waiting for our drink and food order to be taken and food to arrive then what we did eating.I wont be spending my money here again thats for sure.I dont recommend this one.

It was my first time here..Went to celebrate my friends bday on Friday night..the wait was not long but when we sat down to order drinks and food everything felt rushed. It was very hard to understand the waiter it was so loud inside. Every 10 minutes they came out with whistles and what seemed to be like a firecrackerS. My friend celebrating his birthday ordered 2tacos and a beer which they did not get right so he had to wait another 20 minutes just get the right tacos... while we sat there with our food getting cold. We waited for his beer come to find out they didn’t have what he asked for. The waiter came to bring us our bill that we did not ask for as we were still going to have a few drinks. I spoke to the manager to let him know all I got was I’m sorry. We got our bill which had items we did not order on it and for 4 of us they added the gratuity which was not deserved. Bad experience for my first time here this post does not deserve 1 star but I had to chose 1 in order to post this

Love Kalaveras. Club scene meets dining. Bring the entire family. Food is tasty and the ambiance is great. For your birthday, they have this (4) hard liquor celebration they do with amazing props and sounds. Ask about it! Just careful with the Bad Bunny videos in the TV screens. Just cover the kids eyes and theyll be ok.

My man and I ate here last night and 5 stars all the way around here, if I could give 10 stars I definitely would choose that option.So it was our first time last night. Walking in the place was beautiful, clean and smelled so good. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess that took our names and told us we could feel free to grab drinks from the bar while we wait if we wanted too. However immediately after walking away from her we were greeted by a friendly server that told us he would get us drinks from the bar. He took our order and was back with our drinks and a smile very quickly.We were seated in a very reasonable time Frame considering it was Friday night at around 8pm and the place was packed and extremely busy! Without missing a beat the staff was at our table bringing us chips and salsa and telling us our server would be right with us. Our servers name Was Christina, She was quick coming to our table to take our order and she was friendly and sweet with an awesome vibe. She patiently answered our questions about their menu and what the different dishes come with as sides. After we placed our order our appetizer came out quickly. We ordered the ceviche that comes with salsa negra. It was amazing all of the ingredients were fresh and the taste was unique. The salsa for it was so hot and to my liking, it was packed with heat and also flavor!!! For our meals I got tacos gobernador and he got the molcajete. Both items were so delicious and the sauces that came with them did not disappoint.Mid way through our dining Christina had to take her break and introduced us to Jaime who was going to take care of us till she got back. And Jaime, was just as much of a gem as Christina was. He was kind and had a good vibe and was very attentive to us while Christina was away. Their manager Cesar also came by to check on us a couple times and ask us how our experience was going. The staff here seemed to have an amazing system and good teamwork to make sure all their guests feel comfortable and are having the best experience. Not once did we go without, or were we needing anything and sitting there awkwardly looking around for service. This is definitely a place we will be coming back to! Nice locals place. A very interesting look in Southern Californias Mexican roots.The menue is just off traditional but fits perfect for its location. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the music can be a bit heavy but, the amaizing drinks will help drown out the sound.Its a great place to meet for lunch or dinner.The price is suited for the area but is still reasonable.

Non-stop Reggaeton music videos blaring on multiple TV monitors and the sound system. Difficult to have a conversation while enjoying a family meal. Lighting is far too dim. Would have given it 5 stars but the night-club vibe kills-it. Dump the loud music and stick to the great food and service that your restaurant offers.

Went 4/7/22 to celebrate my birthday and should of known with see a B rating on the window I should of walked right out and went somewhere else.... I ordered a single shrimp taco and a potato taco and had chips and salsa. I literally vomited and heaved all night. I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. So so disappointed. Completely ruined my Son’s 22nd Birthday. They have the worse service I’ve had in a very long time . I made sure to put my name on the list and I skipped more then once and I was very calm and followed up with the host to see what was the wait time. After being told I would be next more then once . The hostess very rudely looked me right in the face and asked me if my name was correct on the list and was that really my name . Then with a attitude threw my menus on the table and just walked away . So we left, all they could say was enjoy your night smiling and laughing. Smh
