Did my PRK procedure with Dr Kagan 9 years ago. Came back in today for a check up. My vision is literally perfect and I do not struggle with dry eyes. He’s very easy to talk to and will answer all your questions.

I have NEVER experienced a doctor who takes the time with each patient to make you feel at-ease and explains in detail what the situation is, or will be. He listens well, and has an energetic knowledgeable presence. His staff is excellent, they are helpful and considerate and wonderfully proficient at their jobs. I have been going to Doctor Kagen for about 3 to 4 years. He just performed a complex surgical procedure on me, and his follow up and attention to detail we SO COMFORTING AND SKILLED. He is not only gifted as a surgeon, but has a fantastic rare personality you dont find in many Doctors.

Dr. Kagan has changed my life both mentally and physically! I was very pleased with my experience and absolutely love all the staff at Kagan institute. I can be a hard critic of myself and have low self esteem, as many of us do. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling myself. Dr. Kagan took his time to explain the effects of the procedures I was doing and made me super comfortable. Extremely kind and compassionate. A world away from previous experiences elsewhere. The way he made me feel….. completely comfortable being completely vulnerable. I appreciate the staffs follow-up and willingness to overextend themselves. A big thank you to all of them. I am truly grateful!

I had my cataract surgery done with Dr. Kagan and had an outstanding 20/20 result! Dr.Kagan took the time to educate and explain the procedure to me in as much detail as I wanted unlike the other surgeons I talked to. I can truly recommend Dr. Kagan to anyone who is looking for the best experience with their cataract surgery.

I am so happy I went to see Dr. Kagan for my eyelid procedure. The results were incredible and I look 15 years younger! He knew exactly what I needed and nothing more. He explained clearly and thoroughly what would work for me. He assured me of how natural the results would be and how good it would look. The results went beyond my expectations! I was glowing and looked heathy, refreshed and younger. I love how I look!! My procedure was quick, painless and after a few day my stitches were out and I was healing beautifully. I couldn’t be happier! The staff were friendly and kind. Dr Kagan is caring and professional and is so good at what he does. We love everything about Dr. Kagan’s practice. My entire family feels at home there. Vibrant and very comfortable Environment, trendy and boutique like offices, great energy, but most importantly, the staff is amazing. Especially Dr. Kagan! He truly cares about what you need and goes above and beyond to make sure you have all information to make the right decision. He has such a passion for his profession that it translates to pure excellence. Truly remarkable! Love this group of individuals. I’ve been going to Dr. Kagan for Botox for the past few years. He’s the absolute best and I would never let anyone touch my face. He’s an honest and caring doctor. I’ve referred my friends to him and they all have been very happy as well. Highly recommend!

I dont usually write reviews but my cataract experience with Dr. Kagan was so wonderful that I felt compelled to share how phenomenal the team is so other readers could hopefully benefit.My brother and my old college friend referred me to Dr. Kagan after their successful cataract procedure several years ago. Not only my vision deteriorated due to cataracts, I had a pre-glaucoma condition (elevated intraocular pressure ) and had to use drops twice a day to keep it under control. Its been almost three months since my surgery, and I couldnt be happier with the results and the care Ive received. A life changing experience. I cant believe how painless, straightforward and easy Dr Kagan and his staff made the whole process of getting cataract surgery. The procedure itself was totally painless and everyone made me feel completely relaxed and at total ease. His assistants and everyone at his clinic are so warm, welcoming and reassuring throughout the whole process.Not only could I have my cataracts removed from both eyes (performed only 2 weeks apart !!), but I could also opt for a lens that would correct my astigmatism and (!) Dr. Kagan took care of my pre-glaucoma pressure!I cant believe Im free of glasses and of drops for elevated eye pressure.I cant recommend Dr Kagan and his team highly enough. Thank you Dr. Kagan, you are a miracle worker!

After 38 years of wearing reading glasses, bifocals or progressive lenses, I had the conductive keratoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Kagan. For the next 4 years I had no need to wear glasses, even though my work requires a lot of reading. I knew the procedures effects would not be permanent and I look forward to having the quick, painless procedure performed again. Dr. Kagan and his entire staff are very professional and pleasant.

I had droopy eye lids and my vision had become limited over time. Dr kagan and his staff were amazing. From the minute I entered their office, they were very welcoming and kind. Its a kind of thing that cant be faked. By the time I left my first visit, I had a clear understanding of the procedure, time of recovery and the cost.My vision has improved in ways that indescribable. I was not expecting this kind of an improvement. Dr kagan recommended facial botox. The combination of the eye procedure and the Botox has taken off 5-7 years off my face. Im 60 years old and Im getting compliments about my looks all the time. I highly recommended Dr Kagan, not only for all type of facial procedure, but also for his integrity and professionalism.Thank you Dr Kagan. :)

Doctor Kagan is awesome. Ive had LASIK with him and im 100% satisfied and happy with the result. I would never imagine, that i could see good without wearing contacts and/or glasses, but Doctor Kagan made it happen. I am very greatful for that. He is extremely nice, smart and definitely the best eye surgeon in LA. I used to go to his office on Wilshire, but this one in Encino is very close to my house and its like a piece of art and it is the best ophthalmology office in Valley for sure. Also my grandma is going to have cataract surgery with Doctor Kagan and we have no doubt, that shes gonna have a great vision too, cause Doctor Kagan is like a god of the eyes.Thank you for everything dear Doctor Kagan.

I am SO HAPPY with my vision! I have been wearing glasses for 20 years and contacts for 15. I was completely dependent on them, without them I could not see my hand in front of my face.Dr. Kagan did my PRK vision correction surgery. It has been a month since my procedure and my vision is 20/20. I have never been happier with my vision. Contacts gave me such dry eyes and they were extremely bothersome by the end of the day. I would have to carry around backup contacts or glasses at all times.I still cannot believe how amazing my eyesight is. I am so thankful that Dr. Kagan did my PRK surgery. I had complete trust in him and his ability to do my surgery. More importantly, the staff made me feel as ease and important.Thank you Dr. Kagan! My eyesight is literally perfect.

I am eternally grateful withDr. Kagan, he performed surgery to remove the cataract on my right and left eyes now I’m able to see clearly and I don’t even have to use reading glasses. This has been overdue. I shouldve made this 1.5 months ago.I was always one of those women who swore theyd never get plastic surgery. So today I am 72 and my eyelids were extremely droopy. In 2015 I noticed that my eyelids are starting to look heavy. I became really upset when people would ask Are you ok? You look tired/stressed? despite me getting 8 hours of sleep the night before. The bags under my eyes bothered me for years. In 2018 inevitable aging had created horrendous eyebags. Some people age gracefully, and I just wasnt one of them. Why did I wait so long? I don’t know. But when I finally decided to have surgery for my lower eye bags I already knew I wanted to find the best doctor. When it comes to your face, you do not want a bargain- you want the best. I knew also the potential negative complications that surgery and anesthesia can have.However, Im an extreme person that takes risks. Therefore, a big reason why I still decided to choose Dr. Arkady Kagan was that I 100% trusted his work, expertise, and philosophy. Going somewhere because its cheaper isnt the risk you want to take. I read the endless 5 star reviews about Dr. Arkady Kagan. Dr. Arkady Kagan truly is an outstanding surgeon and expert in his field. I ended up deciding to do upper and lower blepharoplasty. I went to Dr. Arkady Kagan to help me with aging skin and baggy, droopy eyes. I was tired of looking tired. If Dr. Arkady Kagan couldnt fix my eyes, no-one would!But before I get into that, a word about the outstanding support Sabina, Dr. Arkady Kagans office manager, provides to the pre- and post-op experience. She was infinitely patient with me, explaining how to prepare for the procedures and what to expect as I recovered. Then, she called me every day after my surgery for weeks to check on me and to patiently answer all of my questions and to offer expert advice. Elvira called me every day to monitor my progress and provided advice and suggestions for every concern or question I had.As Dr. Arkady Kagan explained, second part of procedure with lower blepharoplasty was not the simplest one, with a difficulty level assessed at 10/10 due to the combined functional changes it entailed.Unfortunately, high blood pressure is my problem - my blood pressure first jumped to 220/140 and then to 240/180. So I was expecting the worst. However Dr. Arkady Kagan made me feel really safe throughout the process and put me at ease right when I was feeling a nervous. However I had a lower blepharoplasty! Fat injections and laser work done and came out looking refreshed. And now, after the work is done, I can walk down the street feeling energetic and not like Im the tired lady.I returned to Dr. Arkady Kagan office a week later for removal of the drains and some of the stitches.Now it has been 1.5 months since my eye blepharoplasty and I could not be more pleased with the results and I just want to thank Dr. Arkady Kagan again for doing this for me. I had very minor bruising for 3 days and then it all settled very naturally and subtlety- which is exactly what I want! Friends began to comment as the results just got better daily. My eyes were now bright and open. Any incisions he made are undetectable. Im Very happy with the results thus far! Dr. Arkady Kagan said my best results will start appearing at around 6 months.If you, like me, are in your 70s and tired of looking tired when your not then call Dr. Arkady Kagans Institute for a consultation. If you decide to have surgery know that you will be under the care of a most skilled surgeon and his excellent team of professionals. He really cares about his patients.He doesnt advertise. I have been seeing Dr Kagan and his crew for a months now, and they are really quite amazing. Im pretty sure there isnt much they CANT do, the results are amazing, and the entire process from start to finish went EXACTLY as they said it would. The staff is friendly, yet professional and it is clear they enjoy where they work. Dr Kagan is cautious yet thorough, and I cant wait to go back for my next treatment!

Dr. Kagan is absolutely amazing!! I had PRP and Sculptura injected about a month ago and i have received so many compliments of how incredible i look. Kagan is extremely knowledgeable about this state of the art procedure and takes his time with you. I have also had my lasik and multiple botox injections throughout the years. DR. KAGAN IS THE ONLY DOCTOR I WILL LET TOUCH MY FACE- HE IS THE BEST!
