We launched our fist website over 20 years ago, back in the day of dial-up, little red dot .gifs for accent, swirly blue repeating .jpg backgrounds, when 4 pages of content was a robust site. Everything was in-house, and was originally hand-coded on a DOS word processor. But times changed, the website grew, and after using one web company for a while, we found Justia.I recommend Justia most highly. I have used Justia since 2009 for my websites service and design. I have multiple websites and two blogs and Justia continuously goes above and beyond with the service they offer and their communication with my staff. Phone and email inquiries are always answered quickly (even if its just to say that they received my request and that they are working on it). I have gone through a few website redesigns and the design staff (especially Lihn) is very accommodating and willing to chat on the phone any time I need. Additionally, Tim and Stacy have made themselves personally available to me when I have any questions or when I need their opinion on any big changes to my sites and blogs.
I found the site very deceptive and in my opinion unethical. I wrote a review for my lawyer. it was posted and soon JUSTIA took it down and under the lawyer review said Harvey Stern has chosen not to be reviewed by clientsI look at it as a shameful approach to protect bad lawyers and prevent public to see the lawyers client review. It is incorrect to filter reviews. JUSTIA owner review page says the very same thing. Why?A good lawyer should invite clients to post reviews!
Excellent company! I used three prior companies that claimed to be able to assist with SEO and with my website. They were a disappointment, until I found Justia. Justia has improved my website, it is very user friendly and informative. They are constantly providing my office with tips and assistance. Customer Service is superb. Moreover, I get compliments on my site all the time. Lastly, the SEO service is fantastic. I include it in many of my legal research seminars and webinars, and in my books, such as my most recent books Internet Legal Research on a Budget (which I wrote for the American Bar Associations Law Practice Division) and The Cybersleuths Guide to the Internet. Besides helping lawyers and the general public easily find free legal web sites and information, it also provides many other incredible resources--many of them free, from their free daily court opinion and free weekly practice area newsletters, that help you keep up to date; to their free blog and tweet directories, which can be browsed or keyword searched. The blog and tweet directories are superb resources for learning about hot legal issues when there hasnt been time for anyone to write an article or book on the issue and for finding out who are the expert lawyers in almost any legal field if you need to hire a lawyer, refer a matter to a lawyer, or find co-counsel. The site also offers great free resources for law students (e.g., outlines) and business people (info about business formation, employment laws, etc.). Although not free, Justias web marketing services help lawyers market better and help consumers find the right lawyer--with Justia-built web sites (including mine), Justias SEO services, and Justias lawyer directory.

JUSTIA - GREAT ON PROMISE, ZERO FOR DELIVERYSTAY AWAY FROM THEMGreat foreplay. Could not have asked for better initial contacts. As soon after I signed the agreement with Justia problems arose. The communication with Justia was terrible. The people I spoke with at Justia gave poor directions, and I was required to do tasks that were never noted at the outset. It took months for the website to launch. There were problems and problems. When I provided criticism, Justia support got defense. When I provided Justia support with a critique from other web analyzers, Justia attacked the source; Justia never dealt witht he problem. By the time it was over, Justia failed to respond to any critiques and any complaints. Justias only solution was to have me speak to someone in charge. When I asked for the agenda, I was never give one. I even posted the problems on Facebook to Stacy Stern, the person who recruited me; She never responded. Incidentally, I spoke to some of Justias support staff and I could not understand their English so much so that I had to demand that they put their remarks and instructions in writing.In my nest to the last email to Justia support - I noted the following to which I never received a response:The more I talk to others about the site, the more others analyze your product, the more I am convinced that you folks are incompetent.Your defensive and non-explanatory attitude to my complaints and feedback is an example of your inadequate communication and a material failure to abide by your representations and contractual promises.It behooves me that I was required to speak to some of your folks whose remarks and language I could not understand. It is incredible that I was so frustrated with the language deficit that I was forced to ask these folks to write down what they were saying because of this linguistic abyss. And even with the written conversion, I was often at a loss.Your foreplay is fantastic, but your delivery sucks.I have lost time, money and energy as a result of your corporate and personal stupidity.I simply cannot believe that you folks survive as a business entity given my experience with you.My only respite is that my tenure with you folks is about to end.Other than that, I will deal with the consequences of your malfeasance later.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. I tried calling their number listed and spoke to a flat out incompetent person whose name was Jasmine as she laughed and was very immature and unprofessional. How do you have someone answering the phones of your company who cant help you with a problem? Then, the next time I called, Jasmine was tired of telling me things that she obviously has no control over (i.e. Doesnt have a boss, doesnt have a superior, doesnt have a webmaster, doesnt have a phone number to get in touch with someone else), so Stephanie gave it a go. Stephanie was more understanding of the situation but still incompetent. I dont understand how you can publish things about someone on your website, but you dont have a webmaster that can correct something when youre in the wrong. I was told, Sir, if youre going to continue to harass us than we are going to be slower at our jobs, causing your issue to be slower in being resolved. Harass???? Youre harassing me by having something on your website that comes up in a google search that isnt supposed to be published! It clearly states that on the bottom of the order! Completely baffled of the stupidity in this company.

2020-07-16 14:31:01Worked with Justia where they created and hosted blog site for my firm for about 8 years. The cost was reasonable and every year I saw a huge return on investment for how much I spent. They always responded promptly to any issues I had and overall had a great experience. Due to reasons unrelated to their performance, I had to eventually move on. However, I would highly recommend them. There are a lot of website and SEO companies who promise the world, charge astronomical fees, and deliver peanuts. Justia is definitely not one of those companies. They provided great value!

2016-08-05 20:35:25In 2005 I was told by a friend who has an Atlanta based civil practice about what an excellent job Justia had done optimizing his web site. I was a little concerned that because of the location where I practice is much smaller than Atlanta that Justia might not help me with my criminal law practice. However, I quickly learned how great Justia is at not only at search engine optimization but also with customer service and web site design. In 2006 we launched my website and within a brief period of time it was at the top or near the top of most organic searches for criminal defense lawyers in the region where I practice. It remains near the top through today. The income generated that can be directly attributable to the website is many times over the very reasonable price we pay to Justia for hosting the site. Recently, at Justia’s recommendation, they redesigned my website to make it more mobile friendly and give it a more up-to-date appearance. I’ve received many compliments on the new design.Justia’s customer service is very impressive all the way from the top, Stacy Stern and Tim Stanley, to the person who picks up the phone when you call if you need some help or advice. I have taken advantage of blogging training and refresher sessions many times through the years. Amanda and others cannot have been nicer or more willing to help.Prior to learning of Justia, I had experienced working with another very well-known host of websites for lawyers and can attest that the customer service, effectiveness and kindness of Justia people are unparalleled.
