Had an excellent experience at Just Smogs!Made a same day appointment, check in was quick and easy. Got there a little early and they were busy, but still got me in earlier than my appointment.Office decor is unique and interesting; waiting area is comfortable and has a lot to look at. The team from check in to drive away was polite, friendly, and although I didn’t have an issue passing, did overhear a conversation with another customer that did not, and they had zero judgement and were happy to explain possible reasons and options for retest.I generally only smog when required by registration, but I’ll come back here each year I need to.

An easy breezy place to get my pre 2000 van smog inspection. Price quoted was pretty good considering the quick job they did and comfortable environment to wait. I LOVE Just Smogs. It is the best place to take your car for testing. The staff is so friendly and they have streamlined the process so you can get in and out quickly. I have been going there for yeatprs and the service is head and shoulders above the other smog facilities I tried before I found Just Smogs. I loved the complimentary donuts and coffee. There was an amazing antique museum in the waiting area- a must see. We came in on walk-in status and SMOG was completed within thirty minutes of us arriving. Very professional staff. They honored the discount price they quoted when we had called.

Everyone at Just Smogs is professional, kind and efficient in what they do. I had a 10 AM appointment. Showed up early at 9:45 AM and was out the door with a “Passed” smog inspection at 10:05 AM. They even have a nice waiting room in which five of us comfortably sat for the few minutes we had to wait for the inspection.

I have been going to Just Smogs for years. They send out a letter that comes around the same time as my car registration is due reminding me that I need a smog check. I have been to this place three times and they have always offered great service. Making an appointment online is super easy. Since I had been there before, they already had my car and my information so all I had to do was sign and initial the paperwork then wait in the lobby. I picked a good time (2:00 p.m.) because there were no other customers waiting. Twenty minutes later they were done. I was able to get back to work from my lunch break with time to spare.

This place is easily missed so hopefully my pictures can clarify where they are.My girlfriend had to get her 2015 civic smog. I called around to check for prices. JUST SMOGS was 6th on my list and I originally spoke to John who inform me they price match. I thought that was really cool and continue my calls shopping around for deals. I found a shop in Santa Ana for less so I called JUST SMOGS. This time I spoke to Danny. He explain to me professionally how he is only able to price match other local smog shops. I really value the clear explanation and the calamity in his tone. I decided to go to JUST SMOGS.Once there, there were a few people waiting and 3 people ahead of me yet when I asked how long would the smog take I was given under 30minutes. Given the amount of people they had to service and employees working they somehow manage to smog my girls car at about 33minutes (I ran a stop watch).The car fail smog. Xander explain to me what fail and how it could had occur. He physically show me the intake boot had a tear and that causes the fail smog. He also inform me the car had a recall part and I should contact the dealer. He got Danny to give me a price quote on the replacement of the intake boot and book me an appointment for the next day. What is cool is Danny asked if I have any family members that are mechanics. That to me shows he really is looking out for his customers and want to over delivery his service. He gave me a great quote for the part and labor.I came back the next day 40 minutes late yet they still fit me in their schedule and got the intake boot replace under 30 minutes even tho the car was running hot.In conclusion, JUST SMOGS have a great boss running the place and his presence is what make the shop attraction. I live two cities over but I will always be going to JUST SMOGS due to their honesty, pride in their work, sincerity in their pricing.

Went to just smog on Veterans Day. Never been there before. I walked in the shop and talked to one of the technicians who greeted me and helped me find the front desk. Nice guy can’t remember his name, tall guy.The office is cool with lots of old gas station signs, old sewing machines and photos. Even of the old Meadowlark airport.The waiting room is comfortable and has phone chargers.There was a steady line of customers which is a good sign.We walked a couple block to beach to get coffee and by the time we got back the car was ready.Gonna recommend this place.

Best experience ever!! Just Smogs is the place to go for excellent customer care and service. They have been in business for 23 years and I can see why. All the staff are so pleasant, and their waiting room has plenty of space for relaxing while you wait, both inside and outside sitting. I was in and out within an hour. They also have an auto mechanic. I plan on going back to get my annual checkup for oil change, fluid top off, etc. He is also very knowledgeable about catalytic theft protection which has been on my mind. I needed a smog certificate for my DMV renewal. I made an appointment online which was confirmed. When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted right away and the emissions test was performed. The results were reported to the DMV electronically. I completed my registration the next day with no problems. Just Smogs has a very efficient, no hassle process and everyone was very friendly. Ill use them again in the future.

I was greeted with respect and kindness at the front desk. I love the shop for it was very clean and comfortable to hang out while waiting for the SMOG to be completed. My smog check was a couple of months ago. While speaking with the gentleman, I mentioned I also needed to get an oil change after my car was ready and he said they also did oil changes there. I told him lets do them both! I am a repeat smog check customer and will now be getting my regular oil changes there going forward. I called a week ago and asked if they change low beam light bulbs and I was happy to find they do that service as well. They even ordered the bulbs for me once I made my appointment. I was in and out in an hour. Their customer service is above and beyond. These gentleman are very friendly and helpful and I felt I needed to give them a 5 star rating!! I cant rave about them enough. So, if you need any of these services, make your appointment to get it done at Just Smogs in Huntington Beach. They are awesome!!!

My new go to mechanics! Friendly, fast and professional service from start to finish.I was recommended to call them for a front axel repair, took a double take at the name Just Smogs but made the call anyway. Told them my issue over the phone, they said to bring it in the next morning.I talked to Mike and told him the symptoms that have been getting worse and what I thought the problem was. He asked me to sit tight and offered a beverage from a mini fridge up front or the usual morning fix, coffee. A few minutes later, he had my car up on the rack and verified my needs, as well as pointing out my paper thin brakes and dirty oil (both I have been putting off way too long and I knew were an issue). No attempt at making me fix any of it right away, something I am weary of from every auto shop I have been to.Mike asked what I wanted to take care of today, I asked for a quote for all 3 and a few minutes later he gave me a very reasonable quote. He met me in the middle since it was not a cheap and quick fix, which made it very apparent I came to the right place. Money was still an issue on my end, so he called the owner from his cell phone, explained my situation and asked what they could do for me. Everyone was understanding and friendly about it and we found a way to make it work using an app called AfterPay.Everyone in the building was helpful and friendly, including the owner who I spoke to over the phone. They gave me a ride home and would call me later when it was ready.When I picked up my car at the end of the day, everyone was still all smiles which I even find difficult working from home! I drove my car out of the parking lot and it feels like a new car! The axle replacement was done right, everything felt tight and responsive. My brakes felt like new brakes do, that extra thickness means I will have to get used to the brake pedal being where it should be again.But my engine... my engine sounds like it got a complete tune up. It purrs like a new car, and has a newfound kick I didnt think possible with my car.I am very impressed with Just Smogs and will be coming back here again and again for all of my automotive needs, even a smog check!

Been coming here for years. Very accommodating to my husband who just lost a leg and has spent half of this year in the hospital. He came with me for the ride fully expecting to sit in his wheelchair inside. The techs said he could remain in the vehicle while they serviced it. Above & beyond customer service. Last year my 1994 Jeep Wrangler wasnt passing the smog test. After $2300 worth of fixes my long-time mechanic said he didnt know what else to do! I looked online, found a Jeep shop in Huntington Beach who referred me to Just Smogs. I drove the almost 30 miles, praying this shop would be able to help. About 45 min. later, my Jeep had passed the smog test after some work done on it & the total cost was less than $200! Everyone at this shop is very nice/pleasant. The owner is one-of-a-kind. He told me that was not their normal routine and offer to give me a refund for my bad experience.****Horrible wait time. I made an appointment for 10:40am and showed up at 10:39. The employees are super friendly and provide amazing service with good prices! Not the mention that they have coupons/promotions every so often.
