2024-04-01 00:20:36Our group definetely had fun in this restaurant. I particularly didnt enjoy the fact that my pizza was oily. But besides that it was good. The waiters were flexible and didnt delay to bring our orders. I appreciate that a lot.

2024-02-10 22:53:40Great place to eat and hangout for a bit. Food portions are generous. Atmosphere is fun and loud. Seems weird but you can have an intimate conversation and still enjoy the loudness of the restaurant. Pick anything on the menu and Im pretty sure its delicious 😋.

The food is huge plenty to take home also the service is over five stars you will want to come back over and over. Oh ya forgot about JRS comedy club, only one thing watch for junkyard signs and follow black arrows till you reach junkyards parking lot, And let the fun begin.❤️

2023-10-07 19:21:24Chris took great care at The Junkyard. He was attentive and polite, He took our order quickly and got them to the kitchen right away. The toast, hash browns, eggs, and pork chop were prepared exactly as I had requested when they arrived. Good size poached eggs that had a good flavor. My wife was equally happy with her meal, the staff, and the service.I cant end without saying that the whole place is fun. Ill be back.

2024-06-30 15:56:55This has to be considered a hidden gem in Simi valley. Sure the decor is like a chillis but on steroids, but the food was fantastic.I had the special which was prime rib, and added a side of Mac n cheese. The MNC had bacon in it!!!And kudos to whoever hand made the menu.I will be back for sure.

2022-11-17 08:02:03Fun place to go to for just about anything you are craving. The food is like something you’d be expecting to be made at home and everything I’ve had and tried is delicious. My personal favorite was the beef stroganoff as my meal, and for an appetizer I recommend the chicharrones with a side of guacamole, and dessert you can’t go wrong with carburetor cookie. Service has always been great as the servers have all been attentive and friendly. While you are waiting for your food the decor will give plenty to look at and may even take you back to when you were younger and there is so much to look at that I seem to find something new. If that’s not enough to keep you busy there’s TVs in every room usually playing sports. Overall this has become a favorite place of mine and whenever I’m in the area I’m always sure to go.

2024-04-27 04:22:53We used to eat there because my wife and I (both vets) thought they were veteran-friendly. If I recall correctly, they do not give discounts to veterans. But, after the last experience, we will never eat there again. Its dark as heck in the place and the tables/floors are usually dirty. The worst experience we had was on Thanksgiving. We ordered a week a head to get their Thanksgiving meal specials. I think it was about $30 per meal. When I went in to pick it up on the day, it took them a long time to get it, I want to say 20 minutes. When I asked what was taking so long, they said they were cooking the Turkey. Now, if you know anything about cooking turkey, it takes a LONG time. When we got the food, it was okay... but the turkey. This was the WORST turkey Ive ever tasted. It was as if they poured gasoline on it, literally! It tasted like gas and it was drier than sand.I reached out to the restaurant and they said management wasnt there. I asked why they werent there on one of the busiest days of the year... they didnt have an answer. They said they would take my number and management would call the next morning....guess who didnt call me the next morning?I called again later in the day and they said management wasnt there, but they would call me the next day. That also didnt happen. I called back on more time and was told once again that management wasnt in but they would call me back, so I just gave up.What a waste of $60 and a heck of a shameful way to treat two disabled veterans.

2024-06-25 16:48:28I’m a regular patron of this restaurant and usually I have a great experience, but when I went on May 25 with my family, I was pretty disappointed with the service. We were seated around 8:30 pm and got our orders in quickly, because we always order the same thing. When I said I wanted the spaghetti al dente, the young server asked me, “With what? Butter?” I was a little confused by that but clarified that I wanted marinara sauce on it. When our order arrived I asked her if she could bring the cheese and red pepper flakes and she curtly said, “We already put them away.” I see on the website menu that the spaghetti is advertised with cheese and red pepper flakes. I suppose the servers should let the customers know that these things are under lock and key after 9:00 pm. I would have ordered something else if I had known beforehand.
